“You know what, I am starting to think you’re a plant. Kill her and lets see how helpful she can be in death to Theron.” I say looking at the girl.

“No please, no. I am just telling you what I see.” She says struggling in two guards hands.

“Problem is little witch; you don’t have the gift of sight. Elianna is not allowed to touch or teach a seer, even if she is a witch. Hecate trains you personally, and you have not got the scent of being in Olympus.” Lycaon says with his eyes glowing a bright honey yellow. He starts to take threatening steps towards the girl when she breaks down.

“Who was it that attack three of the green troops then, if you’re a seer you can tell me that. Who wiped them out? Who attacked the red group taking their numbers from 500 to less than 200?” I say making my way over to the girl.

“What attacks? There wasn’t any attacks because I have talked to … Oh shit.” Her eyes grew wide in realizing her mistake.

“Sasquatch you get all that?” I call out. Up pops a conversation screen with Sasquatch. The rest of the screen shows the attack and who did it. “I think Hades and Persephone are going to enjoy having you in hell. They may take you as a personal slave, or Hecate may want your ass to do spell casting on. You know find out what spell works best and creating new ones too.” I say keeping her eyes on me as I slam my short blade into her chest. A tear rolls down her face as she slips down to the floor.

“Ok I was able to do a little more digging, and I can tell you who is set to attack which supernatural. Yellow is set up for wolf and vampire. Green is set up for demon and vampire, red is set up for all three, but again they have suffered huge losses in the last week, they may have to drop supplies for one or another.” He says looking at his screen.

“Ok, do we have enough hunters to be with each troop?” I ask looking at Kane.

“Way ahead of you. I have hunters in each territory ready to go. There is 75 in each, and they are armed to the teeth.” Kane says smiling at me.

“Lycaon, how many wolves and lycan rogues are there? I know you are not a rogue, but they will answer to you.” I ask the Lycan King.

“There is close to 600 that have gathered, I have them spread out in all areas, but I guess to reduce casualties we need them just in the demon territories.” He says. I nod and I see his wolf eyes go white in a mind link. “Done, they are on the move and will take any out along the way to help even the odds more.” He replies.

“We have communicated with all demons, they are already moving into the wolf territories and killing along the way.” Leader Vakor says.

“How do they know who to attack?” Natasha asks worried.

“We may have or may not have slipped a die into their water system that will mark their clothes and hair green, just so that the wolves and lycans can see it too.” Leader Erzan says with a snicker. Then everyone starts to snicker with the thought.

“Hate to break up the party, but the snatch and grab group just entered the territory. There is another 200 with them that joined in the last 10 minutes. Again that is an overestimated number though.” Sasquatch says.

“I take it this little bitch was telling them everything we were planning. Fuck.” I say slamming my fist on the table.

“Can I suggest something?” Charlotte asks.

  “Sure.” Matthias says.

“How many of you know how to use a gun?” She ask and all, but 8 hands go up. The seers are the only ones that don’t. “Ok then, we raid Ianna’s stashes here in the house and we pick them off one by one. Take head or throat shots, they will probably have body armor on.” She say and again everyone is nodding at the idea.

“Upper thigh too, it’s not hard to hit the bone and when you do it hits the femoral artery every time, they will bleed out quick.” I say looking at the leaders. We all start moving quickly and get everyone loaded up and into place.

“Ianna, the rogues and wolves have cleared the demon’s territories. They are starting to help clean up and move this way to help here. They will be here in shortly and placed with guns. The witch council is porting them all as we speak.” Lycaon says.

“What about the kids that they took? Has anyone found them yet?” I ask looking to Vlad and Matthias.

“Yes they are ok. Seems we had more help from some pretty pony men.” Jason says smiling, as we walk out to the front of the house.

“If Daddy Iverus hears you say that I am not saving your ass pup.” I say pointing at him.

“I second that! You are totally on your own with Poppa Iverus.” Sasquatch says. “Oh ok guys you have a huge influx of people coming your way! Looks like those from the wolf territories are coming this way for back up.” He lets us know.

  “How many?” Matthias asks.

“Another 150 at the most. From the camera feeds in all other locations there are a lot of dead people and maybe three or four are ours. 99 per cent is all theirs. The whole group of three to four hundred is about 30 minutes out. Again I am overestimating for purposes of defense.” Sasquatch says.

“Ok everyone, let’s get into position. Sasquatch, tap into my video and audio so you can give me a count as they get closer.” I tell him and he gives me a thumbs up. “Dude I hope you know I can’t see the thumbs up, but I figured you did it anyways.” All I hear is laughter from the audio on my camera and Sasquatch telling me to true.

I soon see the head lights of cars and trucks coming from all directions, then there is an explosion as I see a truck hit with a flame. I guess the witches are helping in more ways than one, or that was a Molotov cocktail. Soon I hear gun fire and screaming as people are being taken down when they get out of the vehicles.

“Vlad tell them not to just aim for the vehicles, they could have others on the ground walking.” I say as the Prince of Darkness comes over to me.

“Already taken care of, a lot of the vampires and demons need to feed. Be careful kid.” Vlad says as he takes off towards a group fighting hand to hand down near the hospital. If they get in there, innocent people will be killed. I see Meena ripping through our enemy, but she doesn’t see the knife coming at her from the right side. I stand up, bringing my gun out and start to fire. I take three shots, right thigh (the one I can see), neck and head. Meena was able to turn away quick enough for the knife to miss completely.

“Thanks kid, do you need more ammo? I can grab some of one of the dead.” She says looking for another prey.

“No tell the others not to touch the dead, they may be booby-trapped.” I tell her, just thinking of it. It was a trick we used when I lived out west. The Europeans would kill the natives and then strip their bodies of whatever they thought was valuable. We changed the tide on them quickly and they learned to leave the dead alone afterwards.

I stay planted where I am and take shots when needed to keep others safe. All the while trying to keep eyes on Eli and Tanner. At some point I run out of bullets and have to use my throwing knives, so I ditch my gun and run into the fight. Taking as many down as possible from a safe distance and when that isn’t enough my long sword and short blade come out to play. They sing as I move through my opponents. Many of the enemy don’t know what to do, because honestly who is going to wield a sword or a dagger in this day and age. No one, well except me the nut.

“Well, this is interesting. I get to take all three from you and become a hero when I wipe out all the monsters in the world.” A voice sounds out behind me. Seconds later I am twisting and kicking behind me as I have to move my blade from my back after blocking a hit from something heavy. When I get turned around, there standing there is a woman of about 30 years old with long brown hair. Her chunky cheeks are covered in blood and dirt, while her clothes look the same.

“So I guess your my embryo donor? Hmm where’s the sperm donor would love to kill both of you in front of each other.” I say looking at the woman, her eyes hold so much fear and yet she is still standing there.

“Too late for him! I killed him before I left you in the bush!” She scr
eams at the same time as swinging a large metal pipe. Her movements are choppy and clumsy at best. She didn’t think when picking this as her weapon. She didn’t account for the weight and energy exertion it would take in each swing. So she will tire quickly, making this a waste of time and effort for me. She comes full charge, but again not accounting for any of the obvious factors , misses and meets my long sword slicing her spine from her pant line to her skull. She drops quickly from her massive spinal injury and lays face down in the grass. I am decent enough to detach her head from her shoulders, suffocation from compete paralysis is a long and unnecessary death.

“Wow you weren’t kidding when you said your parents were on your kill list were you.” Marcus says from in front of me.

“No I wasn’t, and to say that you’re not on it also, would be a lie. In the end it comes down to getting rid of the trash.” I say, twisting my short blade so it lays flat against my forearm. As I take a defensive stance to guard against Marcus, a loud blood curdling screech sounds and then I see Matthias coming straight for him. I move at the last second, when Matthias slams into Marcus, sending him flying a good ten feet away.

“Are you alright Aretha?” Matthias asks, still standing where Marcus had been moments before.

“Yes I’m good. Where are the guys? I need to find them.” I say scanning the area, I hear a loud roar and look to my left. Lycaon has taken his full wolf form, nothing is getting out of his way, and he is quick in killing our enemy.

“They are with Meena, she saw you run into the fight and thought it best to keep them with her. Head towards the amphitheater. That is the last place I saw them. Be careful my warrior.” Matthias say just before he is tackled at the waist by Marcus. I run to the amphitheater to check on Eli, Meena and Tanner. When I round the corner, all three are surrounded and Soren is front and center.

“Ah so good of you to join us Aretha, now you will watch as the next to take the title of Atlantean Battle Warrior dies. In the end I still win.” Soren sneers and his group snicker.

“Well at least they can come back, you though have no more family or a bloodline to attach too. With your death that means I get to rest in peace, and still pass this on when they come back.” I say standing at ease. Soren must have taken my calm appearance as a sign of weakness, because he charges at me instead of going to the boys and Meena. I take off running the way I just came. It will give me time to get distance between our enemy and my friends. It will also bring this group out to Lycaon, Jason, Alexander, and the wolves.

As a couple of the enemy make it within reach of me, I use my forward momentum to run up a tree and throw myself into a backflip over their heads. This also gives me time to dig in my sword and dagger, as I start to move again, I notice movement from the right side about 20 feet away, and immediately I see a very familiar woman. I drop to my knees and slide under Isabelle’s swing, causing the axe she was using to bury itself into one of her comrades. As I somersault back onto my feet I turn to take down Isabelle, but I am quick to find she is cutting through Soren’s soldiers.

“Ianna, run! Go to the field Matthias needs you!” She shouts, but I don’t want to leave her alone. She is taking one two at a time, and here we thought she had betrayed us.

"Isabelle, we thought you had sided with Soren!" I say as I get into it with two men.

"God no child! I found Hyda and joined her, she explained everything to me. Now run and help Matthias!" She yells while gutting a woman who swung a bat at her.

“Do as you’re mother tells you Ianna!!” Helix says as he comes up beside me using his vampire speed. Ika is already helping Isabelle, biting, ripping, and draining blood as quickly as they step in front of her. I nod to him and take off again, some of Soren’s little group went around towards Matthias and Marcus. I see Vlad, Meena and the two boys heading that way too. This is going to be a bloodbath, not that it’s not already.

“Sasquatch how many of Soren’s troops left?” I ask through my body cameras audio.

“Just the two groups your fighting now, but the group with him heading towards Matthias is not good! He was able to recruit some of the most elite vampire hunters. So you need to get to them fast, I will send the demons over to help. I found specialized equipment ordered just to take care of the vampires, so they won’t be as guarded for the demons!” He says and I take off faster than I thought I could with short legs.

“Ok, do not send Lycaon and the wolves. They would be able to use their ammunition on the wolves too. Vampires and wolves have too many disadvantages in common when it comes to that shit.” I say as I slide to a stop. I can see roughly eight guys, not including the four near Matthias, where are the other three? I voice out loud to myself.

"Right here!" A deep voice comes behind me and places a hand over my mouth. "Shh we don't want them to know we are not on their side."

"Aretha? I have three bodies on you!" Sasquatch says.

"Don't worry Summer Yeti, she is safe." The man holding me says with a laugh.

"Nick, oh thank god you are ok. Is Kyle and Tristan with you too?" Sasquatch asks over my audio.

"Yep we are all good. Now shut up so we can save the vampire." One of the other two says.

"Ok so we can take to the marked spots Soren assigned us to provide cover for the others, we just don’t use it that way though. It gives us a great advantage to take them out also. What do you think Tristan?" Nick asks his brother.

"Yes that is best, we just need someone to cover our asses if they come in behind us though." Tristan answers.

"Got you covered, wolves, demons and vamps are coming your way to help." Sasquatch says and soon I see who he sent.

"Alright Battle Warrior, go kick some ass! We got you covered!" The one I assume is Kyle says. I take off again when I see the guys get into their positions and my comrades take up defense behind them.

  Chapter 14

When I get back to the field, two of the Vampire Hunters have Matthias held down and Marcus is sneering at him. Soren is there also, but he doesn’t look as happy as I thought he would be. I crouch down to the point I am doing a snake crawl on the ground. There are a few bodies that I am able to hide behind to hear what is being said.

“Where the hell is she Matthias? Just reject your claim and give us Ianna.” Soren yells at him. So he is getting frustrated and pissed because Matthias won’t give up our soul bond.

“She has already proven once that she would rather slit her own throat then have anything to do with you! To think you had to lie to her to get her love. When in truth I had it all along!” Matthias says and spits at Marcus. Soren’s fist with silver rings on it slams into Matthias’s right cheek, causing a horrid smell as it burns. I start to look over the bodies I am hiding behind and find clips for a 9 mm Pistol. I continue to look around and find that my Pistol is just past the bodies, but the possibility is I will be seen. Starting to move slowly, I slide over enough that I still am partially hidden by the legs of the dead guy laying in front of me.

When I reach out to grab my gun three shots ring out and two of the hunters go down, their brains a splattered mess all over Soren’s face. I try not to laugh as I see him look absolutely horrified, and about to puke. Guess Theron didn’t pass on the ability to stomach death to Soren. I look over at Marcus, who is hissing in pain, one of those shots must have been for him. I pull my hand back once I have a hold of my gun and put the clip in. I go to place my short blade into my boot but notice it’s missing. Hopefully, I will get the chance to find it. I scan the area again and find that all my friends have place themselves somewhere that will benefit us in winning this fight.

I hear a whistling sound and then see an arrow embed into another one of the hunters neck. With the smell of fresh blood and the need to heal, Marcus is having a hard time controlling himself and needs to feed. No sooner had I thought it, did he grab the closes hunter and clamp down on his neck. The hunter fought the best he could, but by the time he knew what was happening it was too late. Ok now we ar
e down to eight, think it’s time to take a few more down. I slowly get up and move a little closer because the hunters are all too busy keeping eyes on Marcus. I am able to get within 10 feet and pull the trigger three times, putting the closest hunter down. I get another shot off but then i am slammed by Marcus to the ground, that is when I notice my long sword is gone too. Shit!

“Well look what we have here.” Marcus says pinning me to the ground.

“Nothing that you are ever going to get!” I say, headbutting him hard which causes him to lose his grip. I still have my brace so that is going to have to do. I jam it at an upwards angel into his ribs, I don’t care if I hit his heart at this point I just need him disoriented. Marcus screams as I pull away and do it again. The third time, I move away from him and get to my feet, which also puts my gun back in my hands.

I waste no time, emptying the clip and sliding another one in once the empty one is released. Again, I don’t wait and keep shooting as I move towards Soren. My shots aren’t the only ones, six more shots are heard, and six more men go down.

“Ianna we have a problem, turn around.” Sasquatch says. I do as he says and see Eli being brought out by Tanner. Tanner has a smirk on his face, but what I am noticing is Eli has my long sword. Where is my short blade, I hope Eli has that too.

“So I thought it very interesting that Eli here is the next Atlantean battle Warrior, and not me. See if you had of let us go into battle at the Siege of Pydna, then I would have been the next in line. Funny how that works.” Tanner says, driving a blade into Eli’s ribs. My eyes go wide as I see the blood start to pour out of Eli. Tears start to form in my eyes as I watch Eli bleed to death, and I can’t help but loose myself.
