Claiming His Bought Bride

by Rachel Bailey

Lily glanced over at Pearl, who was busy packing up her lunchbox and toys. Then she took a step forward and ran a finger down her husband’s chest, pleased by his sharp intake of breath at her provocative move.

She blinked innocently. “There’s nothing I can do to convince you to give me a hint?”

He captured her finger and pulled it up to his mouth, biting gently on the tip, and she felt the touch down to her core. “Choose shoes you can wear in the helicopter,” he rasped. “And, sweetheart, be prepared to follow through on that promise in your eyes.”

She laughed, low and husky. “I love being married to you, my husband.”

His eyes suddenly became serious, filled with love and certainty. “And I love being married to you, my wife.”
