Stealing Allie
Page 11
“I’m okay,” she pants.
“Fuck…” I grit my teeth and growl, then do what we’ve both been wanting for a long time: I fuck her. Hard. Burying my face in her neck, I plunge in and out of her tight grip, circling and grinding into her, using every trick I’ve ever learned to give her body more and more pleasure.
After a few moments of utter paradise, somehow she begins to tighten even harder around my cock. She whimpers as her hands scrape down my back.
“I feel you, Allie,” I breathe out in short gusts. “Come on, baby. I want my cock covered with your come.”
Moans turn into cries, and then she’s coming all over me just like I’d dreamed. Her body pulses as her pussy grasps my cock in tight, hot, rhythmic squeezes, pulling me into giving it what it wants. Those grasping, wet walls shoot me over the edge, making me come in waves of stabbing heats of pleasure.
Before the last pulse is even done, I know that if this is what fucking Allie is like, I’m never letting her go.
Chapter 20
Allie
What was that?
We lie panting in each other’s arms, breathing in each other’s salty skin beneath our still-wandering lips. Reality already wants to creep back in, but I stop it for now. There will be plenty of time for real life when the morning gets here. For now, I want to stay in this cocoon with Lucas and forget that he’s my enemy and my captor.
His lips press against my neck as his tongue touches on my skin. He slowly slides out of me, a move that makes him shiver.
“God that’s too much,” he says as he looks at me. “You okay?” he asks, his face already guarded, giving me no clue as to what he’s feeling.
“Yeah, I’m good. Just—” I wrinkle my nose. “—messy.”
“Allie,” he groans as he’s kissing me. “That’s so hot. You can’t say things like that when I’m still recovering.”
I can’t help my bark of laughter. “I didn’t realize that was a turn-on.”
His eyebrows shoot up, and then he grinds into me, making me bite my lip at how good it feels. “No guy’s ever told you how hot it is to know his come is dripping out of his woman’s pussy?”
I’m glad it’s dark so he can’t see my reaction. His woman?
“Um…no. I’m not sure anyone’s ever worded it quite that way before.”
He leans down to kiss me again. “Fucking idiots. You need to up your game and get better lovers.”
I freeze at his words, and he pulls back when he feels my reaction. “I should say I’m sorry, but I’m not. It’s the truth. You deserve better.” He pauses for a second. “But maybe it doesn’t need to matter anymore?”
“Lucas…” I whimper, refusing to bring back our argument from earlier.
He nuzzles my neck, his hot breath bathing my ear with heat. “I’m never going to let you go. Not if it’s this good between us.”
Ignoring his words for now, I bump my hips against his to remind him to move. “Do you think you could get up so I can…?”
“I want to say no because the thought of you being messy is so fucking hot,” he says, rolling off me despite his words to the contrary.
I gather the shirt closed as I get up. Apparently now that we’ve had sex, I’ve rediscovered my modesty. Makes as much sense as everything else does, I guess.
“You should just keep that off, don’t you think?” he tells me with a sleepy voice, watching me as I walk into the bathroom. Still hiding just how much I’m reeling at what he’d said, I stick my tongue out at him, making him groan out a promise to spank me later.
After doing a quick cleanup, I head back to bed. Lucas watches me with glittering eyes, his hand stroking himself.
“Come up here and ride me.”
Climbing on the bed, I straddle him while still wearing his shirt. He reaches up and cups my breasts, then starts sucking on them. He rubs his hair on the skin between the two of them as he moves from one to the other. “That’s it, baby, nice and slow.”
When he looks up at me, his eyes glitter in the ambient light from the bathroom and hallway. His eyelids droop as he looks at me, his gaze sweeping from my face to where I’m sitting on him. He groans, his hands moving to my shoulders, tugging his shirt partway down my arms.
“Look at you in my fucking shirt,” he grates. “Do you have any idea how many times I imagined you doing exactly this while wearing my shirt?”
“Did you?” I whimper, already feeling myself clamp down.
“Every fucking day,” he admits before leaning up to kiss me. He takes my mouth in a carnal, wet kiss that I swear I can feel between my legs. When he pulls away, his eyes move downward so he can watch as his thumbs part my folds, then find my clit. He rubs me there, in tantalizing circles that seem to match the beat of our movement.
“Lucas,” I moan, already nearing the edge. “I’m going to come again.”
“Fuck yes, Allie. Do it. Come for me.” He presses harder into my clit, sending me over the edge into oblivion. Seconds later, he follows behind me as he comes once again.
We both pant as I lie against him, his hand caressing my back and butt.
“You have a great ass,” he tells me. His eyes are closed, but he’s grinning as he touches me. “I’ve been dreaming of that ass for a long time.”
His admission makes me grin. It feels good to know that he’s been plagued with thoughts of me just as I’ve been with thoughts of him.
But once again, I’m messy. I tell him so, then get up and head back into the bathroom.
Wiping myself, I look at the remnants of his taking me and realize we didn’t use a condom either time. I’m on the shot, but I don’t know if he’s clean. Right now, with all the endorphins still flowing through me, I don’t care. I’ll worry about it tomorrow. I’ll worry about a lot of things tomorrow.
I clean myself more thoroughly than before, brushing my teeth this time before turning off the light. Heading back to bed, I almost trip over his clothes lying in the middle of the floor where he’d dropped them. As I pick them up and lay them across the end of the bed, I glance up at Lucas to find him asleep already.
Men. A few rounds of sex and they’re out. Right as I’m about to crawl in the bed, it hits me.
He’s asleep. His clothes are right here… His pants have the key in the pocket…
The key!
I grab his pants and go back into the bathroom, turning on the light and then the faucet, just in case he wakes up. I keep one eye out the door, watching him doze as I go through his pockets until I finally find the key.
My eyes still on him, I leave the bathroom with the light on and faucet running. If he wakes up soon, he’ll just think I’m in there cleaning up. It should buy me a few seconds, if nothing else. At this point, I’ll take what I can get. I grab my clothes, thankful that he’s finally given them back to me. On a whim, I grab his clothes as well…let him see what it’s like to walk around in a sheet for a while.
Lucas left the hallway door open, so it’s easy to slip out. I watch him as I close the door. I can’t hear anything above the pounding of my heart as I put the key into the lock, and with a short flick of my wrist, I feel the tumblers settle into place…locking him inside.
I stand in the hallway for a few moments, panting and feeling surreal that this is really happening. Then I shake myself because I can’t stop to feel—I have to keep moving. I get dressed in the hallway, glancing down at my bare feet. I don’t know where my shoes are, but that’s not an issue, not really.
What is an issue is getting out of this house. Quickly, since he could wake up at any moment. This is his house—he’ll know if there’s a way out of the room.
I race down the stairs, then pass his office, remembering the security monitors. Walking over, I wiggle the mouse to wake them up, then find the feed for my room. He’s still asleep, hasn’t even moved.
I didn’t realize I was that potent of a lover. Good to know.
I race to the kitchen where we almost had sex. There has to be a garage here som
ewhere. God, I’ll need to find keys, get the garage open…
My heart still racing, I pull open the doors leading out of the kitchen. I find a huge pantry, then shake my head at finding a butler’s pantry… so pretentious. One more door to try, and…yes!
There are two cars in the garage, which makes me laugh, because I only need one. I spot a pair of flip-flops by the back door and slide my feet into them. They’re too big, but they’ll do. I throw myself into the first SUV, panicking when I don’t see keys anywhere until I realize it’s a SmartStart car. Because of course he’d have one of those.
Stepping on the brake, I push the button, hoping against hope that the key fob is somewhere in the car. My heart stops beating for a second until the car purrs to a start.
Mother of God, I’m almost free!
Looking above me, I have to push a few more buttons before I find the one that opens the garage door, fearing that Lucas is going to come tearing out the door at any second.
I press the door locks, just to be safe.
Finally hitting the right button, I look around as I wait for the door to go up. There’s a canvas bag on the floorboard on the passenger side… Wouldn’t it be funny if he had packets of cash in it? Just for fun, I lean down to look.
I forget about leaving.
I forget about Lucas.
I forget about everything.
Because cash. Stacks and stacks of cash, all bound together in those paper bands you see on TV. I stare at it, my mind blank. I don’t know how much is there, but it’s probably more than I’d make in a lifetime.
Realizing the garage door is finally up, reality sets back in. I back out and head down the driveway, just like I’d dreamed about doing. Except now I’m not a stowaway in the back of a van, hoping the driver doesn’t find me and return me to Lucas. And this isn’t a dream—this is real life.
I get to the end of the drive and panic at the locked gate. Just as I start to look for more buttons, the gate opens automatically from what must be an automatic sensor from the car.
Ohgodohgodohgod!!!
Barely breathing, I’m escaping in the luxury SUV that belongs to my kidnapper who I’ve locked in the room where he’s kept me for almost a month, sleeping off the sex coma I put him in.
And I have his big ol’ bag of cash whispering at me to take it, that I deserve it.
Once I get out of the gate, I pause to look through the car. In the glove box, I find the fob for the car and Lucas’s wallet.
Inside the wallet, I find Lucas’s license and another $600 in cash. There are gas cards and credit cards and every card under the sun. I laugh when I find his Costco card. I can just see him walking through the packed aisles, waiting his turn to try their free samples of cheese curds or guava juice.
I look at the license again and for the first time learn his full name: Lucas Rutherford Grayson.
Rutherford?
That is worth its weight in gold.
The house numbers on the gate match those on the license; this is the address. After all this time of not knowing, I finally know where I’ve been held.
But seriously, a gate. How pretentious. How very Lucas.
Getting settled, I take a look at the road in front of the driveway. I have no idea where I am or how to get anywhere, but I have more than enough money to get me wherever I want.
Knowing I’m free, I turn left and leave Lucas—my enemy, my captor, my lover—and this not-quite-a-nightmare behind.
Chapter 21
Lucas
I wake up slowly, letting the memories from earlier crash into me. I reach over for Allie but find empty space. Sitting up, I’m relieved when I see the bathroom light on and hear the faucet running.
I must not have been out for long if she’s still in there cleaning up. Thinking back to what just happened, I wonder if she’ll be game for round three. There are lots of things we didn’t get to the first time around, things that won’t requite me being hard.
Sitting back, I think about the way she looked, the sounds she made, how exquisite she felt when I was inside of her. I’m more than ready to explore her some more if she’d just get out of the damn bathroom.
“Allie, hurry up and get out here.” I listen for her but don’t hear anything in response.
Sitting up, a premonition that something’s wrong races up and down my spine. That’s when I notice that the bedroom door is closed. I know I’d left it open when I came in. I’d purposefully left it that way so the light from the hallway would spill into the room, letting me see her.
My heart pounding, I don’t want to believe that this is happening.
I’m calling for her as I get out of bed. “Allie?” I shout, hoping against hope that she’s in the bathroom and just can’t hear me. But when I rush in, I find exactly what I feared I’d find. Nothing. Nothing but a running faucet. The room is empty. I check the closet to verify that the suite really is empty. It takes me three steps to get to the door, but I know before I ever turn the handle that it’s locked. Fucking locked.
She’s locked me in here after fucking me blind.
I rake my hands through my hair in disbelief, looking around at what I can use to bust through the door. That’s when I realize my clothes are gone as well. I’d stripped and dropped them when I came in, too anxious to worry about where they fell. The only thing that had been on my mind was climbing between Allie’s needy thighs.
I punch the solid door in frustration that I could be so stupid. Walking back to the bed, I sit down, unable to believe this is really happening. That the woman fucked me into a coma, then escaped while I was passed out in her bed dreaming about her sweet pussy.
Fucking hell, I cannot have been more careless. Or gullible.
I head to the bathroom to stick my head under a cold faucet. I need pull my shit together. Number one priority is how to get out of this room. I pound my hand onto the countertop because fuck me, and fuck Allie for leaving me after what we just did.
I look over at the scene of the crime, aka the bed, and notice that her work clothes are gone too. If she’d not had her clothes, there was a chance she might still be somewhere in the house trying to piece something together before leaving. But no, I had to go and give her those hideous clothes back after her breakdown.
Son of a bitch. That’s the last time I’ll ever let a woman’s tears make me do something nice.
I keep stalking around the room, hoping I’ve missed something, then remember the tablet.
Thank god for Allie and her hissy fit because the tablet is right where I left it. Looking at the time, it’s just after 1:00 a.m. I came into Allie’s room a little after midnight, which means she only has an hour head start, give or take.
Unlocking the lock screen, the tablet displays only 4 percent battery power left before it dies. I never gave her the power cord, expecting to charge it myself every few days. Four percent isn’t a lot, but it’s enough. It’ll have to be.
I reconnect to the Wi-Fi, watching the battery as if my life depended on it…because it does. I could be stuck in this room for days and days before the guys would come looking.
Once the Wi-Fi connects, I shoot a text message to José.
Me: 9-1-1. She got out. I’m trapped. Find her and get me out of here. 4% battery left.
Hitting Send, I pray there’s enough juice for it to go through.
José keeps normal hours, so I’m not sure when he’s going to see this message. But something finally goes right because almost immediately I see the bouncing balls appear.
José: Is this a joke?
Me: Fucking wish. 3% battery goddammit. Get someone to the house and get me out of here.
José: Ok. I’m eating dinner at Preston’s, so it’ll take me a few hours to get there. Put it on power save and sit tight.
Preston’s is a highly rated restaurant that’s not in our city. It’s a solid two-hour drive without any traffic. Sit tight, he says. As if I have any other options.
José: What room are
you in?
Me: The one I kept her in. 2nd floor, south hallway.
José: I look forward to learning how you became locked in her room.
Me: Just fucking get here.
José: I’ll get there, but I’m finishing my meal first. I’ve had these reservations for two months.
Me: José, if she took the Range Rover, we have an even bigger problem. You need to get the tracker on it. And you need to get on the road, fucking now.
José: Don’t tell me you left the money in there…
Me: Just fucking get here.
Chapter 22
One hour gone
Allie
Bobby McCafferty’s accusation has finally proven true. I am now a thief—a thief who has stolen from another thief.
My heart pounding a mile a minute, I’m driving as steadily as I can despite being amped up on adrenaline from stealing a luxury SUV and who knows how much money from Lucas. I huff out a laugh at the irony of it all. Oh Bobby, if you only knew…
My mind races as I try to think, try to focus on anything other than Lucas being right behind me. Oh god, if he’d woken up and gotten out, he could be in the other vehicle—he could be just moments behind me. That thought makes me floor the gas until I put some distance between us.
Once my heart rate calms and my palms aren’t as sweaty, I start running through my options. Was Lucas telling the truth about this so-called evidence he’s planted against me? Should I take the chance and go to the authorities? Looking down at the money and thinking about how that would look to the FBI, I’m not so sure I would look all that innocent. Having a bag full of money and an outrageous story, especially with whatever evidence Lucas has planted against me, might not play over so well.
Agonizing over what to do, wishing I could pull over for a few minutes to think, I keep driving until I settle on a plan. I find myself at a big-box store. If I’m going to disappear, I’m going to need clothes and essentials for a long trip. I sit in the parking lot for a while, waiting to see if Lucas comes screeching up behind me. When he doesn’t, I work up the courage to go inside. If nothing else, I’m hoping I’ll be safer with more people around.
