I CAN’T BE THE ONLY ONE

It’s good to have the ship back,” Zeke’s mom said that night.

Zeus climbed out from under the dashboard. “I told you I would find a way to get it back,” he said.

“It was strange that they gave us paper instead of gold,” Zeke’s dad said.

“Paper money or gold,” Zeus said, “either way, I saved the day!”

“We will have to get used to living here for a while,” Zeke’s mom said.

Zeke sat down on the furry green stuff in his backyard.

He picked a string of sticky spiderweb from his hair.

And looked up at Earth’s one moon.

He wondered if there were other zeebops trapped on Earth.

  There had to be.

He couldn’t be the only kid from Planet Z.

  Could he?
