The cheap panties I found on closeout over the weekend rode up my butt crack as I carried my lunch to the outdoor picnic tables. More expensive brands would fit better, but comfortable underwear did not make the top of my budget priorities.

“Avert your eyes,” I said to my coworkers as I set down my lunch containers. Although I knew the relief would be temporary, I pulled the offending material down and out through my jeans.

“A little wedgie situation?” Dawn asked.

I nodded. “Why do good undies have to be expensive?” The moment I sat down, my buttocks lost another battle with the stretch knit fabric.

“The smaller the garment, the more it costs. I can get a six-foot by eight-foot curtain panel for twenty bucks, but my favorite bra is closer to eighty,” Jenna said.

“Maybe we should wrap ourselves in a curtain panel,” I said.

Dawn giggled. “Isn’t that called a muumuu?”

“Not exactly something you’d get away with here in the Colorado winters,” Jenna said. It was a warm spring day, but the memories of bitter cold were still fresh in our minds.

Out of the three of us, I had been at the library for the least amount of time. I started the job two months prior, after graduating college in December. We formed the younger contingent of librarians at our building. While we got along with the other employees just fine, Dawn, Jenna, and I shared a unique bond—we were three curvy, single women supporting each other through the joys and frustrations of library life.

“What did you bring today?” Dawn asked as I opened my lunch box.

I sneered at the food sitting in front of me. “A sandwich and some carrots. The least inspired meal ever.”

“What’s up with you lately? When you first started, you brought leftovers from your fancy home-cooked meals,” Jenna said. The smell of basil from her Italian leftovers made my mouth water.

“I’ve been too busy working on side gigs,” I said.

“Doesn’t this place crush your soul enough?” Dawn asked. “I know when I leave here, it’s all Netflix and the couch for me.”

“I’m trying to get ahead,” I said.

“What sort of side gigs?” Jenna asked.

“I’m creating a video course on how to do effective research, aimed at high school and college students. I also started a blog a while back for curvy girls and the challenges unique to us,” I said.

“Oh, I’d be interested in reading that sometime,” Jenna said.

“How are you going to make money off a blog?” Dawn asked.

I chuckled. “Ask me after I get some traffic.”

“I’m still hoping to find a sugar daddy,” Dawn said.

Jenna’s face beamed as she glanced toward the sidewalk. “Speaking of men, check him out.”

A tall, gorgeous man wearing cowboy boots walked past on the other side of the street. His jeans were painted onto his ass. The picnic tables sat in the shade to the side of the library, so our vantage point was well-hidden.

  “Tasty,” I said.

“Not a big fan of his beard. I’ll give him an ‘8.0’,” Jenna said.

“OMG, girls, I thought of a new scale,” Dawn said.

  I scrunched an eyebrow. “Huh?”

“So, we all know how the Dewey Decimal System won’t die already,” Dawn said. “We can have our own system that’s for rating men—the Do Me Decimal System. Like its namesake, we go from 000 to 999.”

Dawn never failed to make me laugh during a lunch break. “Haha, do me decimal system.”

“So, Mr. Cowboy a few minutes ago would’ve been a 795?” Jenna asked.

“That’s a great rating,” Dawn said. “Someday I’d like to shelve away at least a 600 for myself.”

“What about you, Kelsey?” Jenna asked. “What minimum number are you aiming to snag?”

I shrugged. “I don’t have time for dating, between work and my side projects.”

“Oh,” Dawn said. “You don’t at least get horny from time to time?”

A devious grin formed at the corners of my mouth. “Well, I can take care of that myself in a few minutes. No need for the frustrations of a man.”

Dawn and Jenna laughed as I finished the last bite of lunch. I thanked the stroke of luck that put me at that library with the two girls close to my age.

“Was that a raindrop, or is that old guy peeing in the alley behind us again?” Dawn asked.

I peered at the gray clouds forming overhead. “Looks like some weather coming in.”

“Lunch break isn’t over yet. Let’s hang until it pours,” Jenna said.

A man I’d never seen in the library before left the front steps and crouched in front of the foundation below the front window. “What the hell is that guy doing?” I whispered, pointing his direction.

The man continued to walk along the building, headed away from our direction, stopping every few feet to examine the foundation. “Maybe he’s some kind of city inspector,” Jenna said.

“He can inspect these,” Dawn said, grabbing her boobs.

Jenna laughed. “He’s dressed more like a bum than a city official.”

A loud crack of thunder made us jump from our seats. “Oh, shit!” I yelled as I stood. The western sky looked black, with a hint of green at the edges of the clouds.

“I lived in the Midwest until I was fourteen,” Dawn said. “Those remind me of tornado clouds.” I’d heard of tornadoes forming out in eastern Colorado, but not where we were in the city.

“Let’s get our round asses inside,” Jenna said. We gathered our lunch containers and made it into the front door right as the sky opened.

After putting our things away in the kitchen, the time came to return to our stations. Dawn and Jenna manned the front desk, while the reference desk had become my assignment for the afternoon.

“Hey, that creeper from outside is heading toward the front desk,” Dawn said as the three of us entered the floor.

“Where’s Helen?” I asked. She was the older woman who ran the desk while we had lunch.

“I saw her headed to the kitchen on her break,” Jenna said.

“Ew, that guy is only a 450 on the Do Me Decimal scale,” Dawn said.

“I think he’s higher, maybe a 600,” I said. “If he wore better clothes, I’d put him in the 900’s.”

  “Really?” Jenna whispered.

“Yeah, his face is perfect. His arms are huge, and his chest forms the classic ‘V’ shape,” I said. The man’s trendy haircut and fancy watch contrasted with his drab clothing. Perhaps he needed a woman to help him d
ress.

“Since you’ve rated him so high, you can go see what he wants,” Dawn said.

My gaze darted to the opposite wall as my stomach churned. “Go on, Kelsey, don’t make him wait,” Jenna said.

With my insides quivering, my legs carried me to the circulation desk. It wasn’t typical for me to feel nervous talking to someone from the public. The man had a mysterious air about him and the girls tasked me with finding out why.

The thrift store sweatpants and ratty t-shirt were not a good look for me. My assistant, Bruno, insisted that the outfit would help me blend in with the regular people. It seemed to be gathering stares from the women working in the library and making me stick out from the small crowd.

Despite its age, the building’s exterior appeared to be in good shape. No cracks existed in the foundation, and the bricks and mortar were solid. The storm cut my inspection short, but I wanted to continue the discovery indoors.

Earlier that morning, a contact I had in city hall called, informing me they had cut funding to this branch of the library. The budget had tightened, and that location would be the first to be sold.

The knowledge was not yet public, but I wanted to be first in line when the library went on the auction block. It sat in a desirable neighborhood, one which had seen a revitalization effort in recent years. I could either turn the building into condos, or tear it down and build new units. Either way, the location would be gold.

Before committing more time and resources to the potential purchase, I wanted to check out the interior space. I’d looked over the public rooms and hallways already, but I knew from old blueprints that the basement was unused. The shitty clothes were part of my plan to look like a regular person and not arouse suspicion. It seemed paranoid, but I didn’t want anyone to recognize me as a billionaire real estate tycoon.

I stood at the front circulation desk, waiting for one of the three girls standing on the opposite side of the room to help me. The ragged clothing on my body had to be off-putting, but I couldn’t be the worst specimen that walked in that day.

The prettiest of the women walked up to the counter. “Hello, sir, how can I help you?” Her words almost didn’t register, as my ears enjoyed her sweet voice while my eyes watched her luscious lips.

“I had a few questions about this building,” I said. “What’s your name?”

The beautiful redhead hesitated. “I’m… Kelsey.”

“Nice to meet you, Kelsey,” I said. “I’m Eric.”

“It’s a pleasure,” she said. “You had questions about the building?”

I nodded, then stared down at her large breasts resting on top of the counter. Kelsey’s red hair came to a stop just above her tits. Her young, green eyes sparkled with life and the small patch of freckles on her nose was adorable.

“I don’t know much about the building itself,” Kelsey said. “I only started here two months ago.”

“It’s not so much I have questions, but I need to see some rooms. Do you have keys to the basement?”

Kelsey paused with her mouth open. I imagined all sorts of nasty things she could do with that wet tongue. “Those rooms aren’t public,” she said.

I gave her a smile that I’d been told is panty-melting. “I’m writing a book and need the full history of this place and to see the building in its fullness.” It wasn’t a complete lie. I needed to inspect everything, which would later lead to a mountain of paperwork to purchase it from the city.

“I can’t just hand you the keys,” Kelsey said.

“Can you give me a tour, then?”

Kelsey looked around behind her, but the other employees were occupied with other patrons. With a shrug, she said, “Why not?”

I watched her spectacular, curvy ass go through the swinging gate between the counter and where I stood. “Kelsey, you’re a doll,” I said.

Kelsey smiled, and a light blush formed on her cheeks. “We’ll go down the front stairs over here,” she said. As we passed the front windows, the rain whipped so hard against the glass, we couldn’t see anything outside. A piece of hail striking the pane made Kelsey jump.

“We don’t see storms like this often,” I said.

“No, indeed,” Kelsey said as we reached the basement floor.

“Let’s start at the far end and work our way back,” I said, figuring the deeper we walked into the building, the more likely we’d be to find structural problems that had been ignored for decades.

The intoxicating vanilla scent of Kelsey’s skin blended with the musty smell of the basement, causing an interesting mix of arousal and repulsion. If any space in my mansion ever became that dirty, I’d fire the entire cleaning staff.

Kelsey’s fingers appeared to be shaky as she unlocked the room at the far end of the hall. “I have no idea what’s in here,” she said.

“I love a good surprise,” I said, still unable to keep my eyes off Kelsey’s thick body.

Kelsey flipped the switch. Dull, yellow light oozed from the dusty fixtures above old shelving. I walked to the far end of the room, checking out the walls and floors. No cracks marred the walls, and they appeared to be dry. So far, it seemed the building could house basement units with minimal work.

“Not much in here,” Kelsey said. “Looks like this room hasn’t been used in a long time.”

Have you been used in a long time, Kelsey? She appeared to be ten years younger than me. Her juicy body made it hard to focus on the task at hand. To give me a tour in a dark basement meant she either trusted me, or she was stupid. I had never hurt a woman and had no intention of ever doing so, but how could she know that?

The lights flickered off and on a few times. “What is going on?” Kelsey asked.

“It’s from the storm, or the old bulbs are on the fritz,” I said. “No worries.”

It was already the most time I’d spent with a common person in a long time. I spent my life around other rich people, other than the help we hired. But our employees didn’t relate to us as equals. An invisible barrier always seemed to exist.

Kelsey, on the other hand, had no idea of my financial status. Because of my clothing, I appeared to struggle financially. I enjoyed interacting with her. She was hot and seemed to have a sweet personality.

After a couple more flickers, the lights went dark. “Oh, shit!” Kelsey said.

“Shh, quiet,” I said, detecting a loud noise outside. “That’s the tornado sirens.”

“What do we do?” Kelsey asked with a tremor in her voice.

“We’re in the safest place, the lower level,” I said calmly.

“I’m scared,” Kelsey said. I felt her hands press on my abs, then her arms wrapped around my midsection as she squeezed. The warmth of her touch surged through me like the electricity craved by the dark lights above. Her tits pressing into my side made my balls release extra testosterone into my blood. “Oh, my God, I’m sorry. I don’t know what got into me,” she said as she released her hold.

I swallowed the lump in my throat. “That’s okay, Kelsey, it’s understandable.”

The pure darkness between us scattered when the lights came back on. I glanced down and saw my giant erection poking an obvious tent in my sweatpants.

My eyes traveled upward and caught Kelsey’s stare still aimed at the throbbing monster in my crotch. I cleared my throat, causing Kelsey to jump.

“The tornado siren stopped,” I said, my cheeks flushing red.

Kelsey cleared her throat and looked up at my face. “Yes, it did.” She held her hand over her chest and took several deep breaths.

Despite the ability to buy almost any experience in the world with money, I found myself in an unfamiliar situation. The possibility of being in a dark basement with a hot woman like Kelsey during a tornado warning never crossed my mind.

I added a second item to my list—Kelsey. I wanted her more than the library.

  Despite the co
ol, damp air, sweat ponded on my face and neck. “I’m so sorry, Eric,” I said. It wasn’t like me to touch strangers. Is his dick hard because of me? Or do storms get him off?

“It’s okay, Kelsey. It’s not every day you have a storm like this.” The man seemed so strong. His countenance had a power of its own, yet he dressed like a homeless man.

“The alarm is quiet. Are we in the clear?” I asked.

Eric glanced at his phone. “No reception down here. But since it’s quiet, I assume we’re okay.”

“Do you mind if we stay in here a few more minutes?” I asked. “Just in case.” I worried if I moved too fast, I’d pee myself or trip because of the shakiness in my legs.

“I don’t care,” Eric said. “No rush.”

“So, what do you do for a living?” I asked.

  “Real estate,” Eric said.

I cocked my head to the side. “Really? Were you staging someone’s landscaping this morning?” I pointed at the dirt stains on his pants to the right and lower than the erection still raging below.

Eric shifted side-to-side, seeming to wish away his embarrassing affliction. “I was in such a rush this morning. I didn’t realize the clothes my assistant picked up were so dirty.”

  “Your assistant?” I asked.

“I mean, the person who takes care of my laundry.”

“Wow,” I said. “I want someone who does my laundry for me. It must be nice to have an office intern wherever you’re a realtor.”

Eric cleared his throat. “Can we check out the next room?”

“Sure,” I said, sensing a bit of discomfort. As I left the room and unlocked the door across the hallway, I saw the feet of my coworkers ascending the stairway on the opposite end of the floor. They must’ve taken shelter downstairs too and received the all-clear. My nerves settled several notches, knowing we wouldn’t get swept away in a twister.

“This room looks the same as the last,” Eric said as we turned on the lights. I glanced back and noticed his cock had calmed itself. Perhaps I needed to not give him any more surprise hugs.
