Later as sunset approached, Kazuma and Michelle both held their mother’s hands as they walked off after a long day…
“Mother…please…do not…go…!”
“Listen Kazu and Michy. I’m going out for groceries for another big dinner, ok?” says the mother, grabbing an umbrella and heading out the door to the stormy night. She shuts the door and Kazuma, and Michelle quickly go to look out the window watching their mother drive off. They both looked concerned, especially Michelle, but Kazuma patted his sister on the head, and when Michelle turned to look towards him, Kazuma revealed a smile towards her, which surprised Michelle.
“Don’t worry. It may be scary outside, but mom will be fine. Don’t be scared,” Says Kazuma.
“…Yeah…I guess you’re right…” replies Michelle, looking calm now…
Later, as Kazuma was playing with his portable gaming device on the dinner table, he stops to hear Michelle weeping.
“What’s wrong Michelle?” asks Kazuma, heading towards Michelle.
Kazuma stops and sees Michelle on the ground wiping tears off of her face and pointing at the T.V. screen. Kazuma turns to the direction Michelle pointed to and finds the news station. It has just reported that an attack has just begun in the city. It was a high emergency alert. Kazuma looked on concerned, before kneeling down towards his sister and putting his arm around her shoulder, consulting her as Michelle wept.
“It’s ok Michelle, mom will be fine don't worry about it…” says a concerned Kazuma, looking out the window revealing a dark and stormy sighting…
As time went on, Kazuma looked out the window once more, and the storm has not let up one bit. Kazuma clenches his right fist, appearing angry now. He turns around and sees Michelle standing there still sniffling. After a moment of staring towards each other, Kazuma sends her a nod with a serious look on his face.
“…Michelle…let’s go find mom,” says Kazuma.
Time passed, and now Kazuma and Michelle are in raincoats, both dashing through the wet streets. As they raced on, they could see small explosions in the sky and debris. Possibly aftermath of the battle going on in the stormy sky. It wasn’t long before the two found a large grocery store not far from them. The two kids stopped and were shocked to see many people and policemen at the parking lot. Something didn’t look right. Kazuma races towards the parking lot first, with Michelle trailing behind.
As they got closer, they both pushed past the crowd of people, trying to get closer and closer to what everyone was watching on the ground, talking about how poor this was by the soldiers, and how could this had happened to an innocent civilian. Kazuma and Michelle’s heart were racing, hoping it couldn’t have been their mother, could it?
Before they finally got past the crowd, they were confronted by two officers covering up something on the ground with a leather yellow sheet.
“…Officer…who’s behind that sheet?” asks Kazuma, tugging on the officer’s jacket.
“Sorry kid, I can’t show you. Too gruesome,” replies the officer.
Michelle rushes past the two officers and goes to grab the sheet, but when she grabbed on to it, the other officer shouts for her to stop, and grabs her, pulling her up off the ground. Michelle brings the sheet up with her, and moments after, Kazuma and Michelle jaws dropped at what they’ve seen before them. Their own mother, lying motionless on the ground with dozens of gunshots to the chest, and food all around her. The crowd gasped at what they saw, and Kazuma could do only fall to his knees, tears rolling down his face, observing his own mother, killed as the rain poured onto her body. Michelle screams at the revelation and cries.
“Damn…this must’ve been her kids…” says the officer holding on to Michelle.
“…Fucking sad…” replies the other officer.
“Mother…!” says a tearful Kazuma. Kazuma soon appeared angry, clenching both of his fists before smashing them to the wet pavement, “…Why…you…mother…?! WHY?!!!”
Two eyes open. Those eyes saw the mountains in the distance and the gray clouds as it rained once more. Those eyes looked down and looked at its arms, hands, and legs, apparently in armor. These hands, these eyes, were Kazuma’s. Kazuma’s armor was damaged beyond repair. However, Kazuma looks on with a dead look in his eyes and soon gets up off his feet quickly.
Kazuma ambles towards a large crater. As Kazuma stops at the edge of the crater, Kazuma has a flash image of the last moments Michelle had, before her death. Kazuma’s eyes widened at the sight in his mind, and in seconds, he tore up once again. The armor on Kazuma’s body broke away from his body into tiny fragments of glass, and Kazuma falls to his knees, looking down at the center of the crater.
“…Why…Michelle…not you…!!” mutters an angry Kazuma. Kazuma clenched both of his bloody fists, before slamming them to the wet rocky ground, “Damn…! DAMN IT ALL!!!”

Chapter 29
Welcome
A month later…
[Parking Lot/ Inside Shina Exantis’s SUV]
Shina’s SUV was parked in front of their school, where no one else was around. Inside her car, she, along with her male friends, was all eating hamburgers, while watching the news on a hologram monitor on the dashboard. Kyo was in the passenger seat, and while Zeke and Zack were chatting in the backseat, Shina looked over and saw that Kyo was thinking deeply about something, and oddly quiet. Shina squinted her eyes and threw a pickle at him. Kyo rolled his eyes and looked back at Shina with an annoyed look on his face.
“…What?” asks Kyo.
“…What’s on your mind now?” asks Shina, “I notice you’re pretty fucking quiet.”
“…Well…It now hit me that I have to get money,” replies Kyo, “…I can’t fight crime and not get paid for it!”
“Dynasty does, though,” says Zack.
“Silence Zack!” shouts Kyo, glaring at Zack through the rear-view mirror. As soon as the two locked eyes through the mirror, Zack quickly looked away and looked at the hologram screen while chewing on his burger.
“It’s as I say alright. I’m not joining them,” says Kyo as he crossed his arms.
“Dude, you can’t fight the enemy, and then go to work at a restaurant or something all busted up and shit,” replies Shina, “You have to join Dynasty whether you like it or not. You’ll get major bank from them!”
“Yeah, with the money you’ll get working for Dynasty you can get your mom a bigger house,” says Zeke.
“But our house is completely fine, though…” says Kyo.
“Bigger is better,” replies Zeke.
“Not in your case…” mutters Shina.
“…It’s been a month since I fought that gunman android…” says Kyo, before letting out a sigh and putting his hand on his forehead, looking stressed, “…That same night I saw some deep and shocking shit. Ever since then the attacks stopped. No enemies in sight at all.”
“Probably a good time to apply now,” shrugs Shina.
“…Alright, I’m leaving now,” says Kyo, opening the door and heading out.
“Hey! Listen Kyo!” shouts Shina, stopping Kyo from shutting the door. The two locked eyes and Shina suddenly blushed, before she shook her head and gave Kyo a severe look.
“…If you don’t want to tell your mother…we’ll tell her for you,” says Shina.
Kyo is silent from Shina’s words. But eventually, he hops back up into the car and shutting the door.
“…I don’t know what to say to that,” says Kyo.
Shina puts forward her fist, smiling at Kyo, inviting him for a fist bump. Kyo was surprised, but two more fists pop out forward from the back seat in front of Kyo, and Kyo looks to find Zack and Zeke also wanting in. Kyo at this point could do only smile at his friends.
“…Friends for life,” says a smiling Shina.
“…Yeah,” replies Kyo, smiling, “Friends for life.”
The 4 unite in a fist bump before Kyo opens the door once more and heads out. He closes the door
and walks away.
“…Think he’s going there at long last?” says Zeke.
“…He has no other choice,” says Shina, her smile now turning to a concerned look, “…She’s going to lose the house soon since she doesn’t have enough money to pay for it, even with the good paying job she has,”
“It’s either Kyo joins or robs a damn bank,” says Zack.
“…Guys…we’re never going to see him again. Our bro is probably going to rarely ever visit now…” says a saddened Zeke.
“…Shut up, fat boy. We’ll see him again soon. No doubt,” replies Shina with a smirk, watching Kyo.
[Dynasty of Spheres H.Q./ Motakai Noshino’s Office]
Inside the office was only the two lovers, soon to be married. Motakai has just now finished signing the last paper before setting it aside, now locking eyes with his beautiful fiancée. The two smile at each other before Kimiko throws a paper ball at Motakai’s forehead. The two laugh as Motakai then grabs a mint candy and puts it into his mouth.
“You love doing that Kimiko,” says Motakai.
“Yeah, it’s too fun,” replies Kimiko, “…You know…we can lock this door and go to the next step…”
“…That would be nice, but we have business to attend to right now,” replies Motakai with a smirk, blushing, “…Let’s begin our secret meeting now,”
“…Hmm…well, apparently it’s been a month since those attacks from the twins Kazuma and Michelle Ragoshi,” says Kimiko.
“Yes. Also, no Solar bots or ‘special’ solar bots have touched earth’s soil in Galaxus or Cosmos,” says Motakai.
“…Atlas, however, is not in a good state at all,” says Kimiko with a concerned tone and look.
“We’ve truly underestimated these aliens. They’ve completely transformed the ENTIRE land!” replies Motakai.
“What I don’t understand, is how the hell they ended up having a huge, fucking replica of the entire land underground itself,” says Kimiko.
“I heard rumors that’s how Shou really got big bank notes,” replies Motakai.
“Yeah, makes sense. It had to have been him to create that,” says Kimiko, “Anyways! It appears Branch is going to fucking rally up like 1 million soldiers to investigate the alien’s home turf they took over,”
“Yes. Branch spoke to me a few weeks ago and told me he’s going to select 3 soldiers to become a brand new super soldier team, replacing the Calamita Team,” replies Motakai.
“Huh? Replace the Calamita Team?” says a curious Kimiko.
“Looks like it. Branch informed me he wasn’t impressed by their performance and puts the blame on them for the destruction of Atlas, as well as the assassination of King Daimus,” says Motakai.
“Well, Branch should’ve had the fucking Coliseum heavily guarded then! Maybe, I don’t know, have BACKGROUND CHECKS on the guards too,” Replies Kimiko, “And they were loaded with guns! He had a part in organizing the security for the event, I don’t know why the fuck he’s putting the blame on them when they just had a vacation at long last to spend time with their loved ones. He’s to blame, not those 3. They busted their ass to get to where they are. How dare he say such a thing,”
“Yeah…well, those soldiers are going to train for 3 months straight before heading back up to the surface. This is their first month into training so far,” says Motakai.
“So, 2 more months?” questions Kimiko.
“Yup,” Replies Motakai with a nod.
“…Hmph, well hopefully they all pull out ok,” says Kimiko, crossing her arms and sitting back in her chair, resting her eyes.
“…So, about my brother and your sister,” says Motakai.
“…Their new powers were a complete success. Shirley just got their new powers implanted into their morphers, so they need no data chips to insert and shit like that,” replies Kimiko, “They’ve also been training every day with it, since the alien’s activity being dead right now for an odd reason, but what can you do?”
“Heh. They were born to do this,” says Motakai with a smirk.
“…Nice to have a long break from those fucking aliens, isn’t it?” says Kimiko.
“Sure is,” replies Motakai, sitting back in his chair with his hands behind his head in a relaxed manner.
“…Back to those twins. How’s that kid Kazuma doing?” asks Kimiko, “I haven’t had time to sneak up on him via monitoring.”
“Well I have, and he’s surprisingly not doing much,” replies Motakai.
“So, what has he been doing since then?” asks Kimiko.
“…Just walking around, and using the money he got from some gaming contest to get by,” replies Motakai with a shrug, “…He’s not going to last, though,”
“…Interesting. That’s all he does?” asks Kimiko.
“…Well, he also tends to go to the large Forest west of Zone X,” says Motakai.
“Wait. Zone X? “Prison Zone X”?” says a surprised Kimiko.
“Yeah. I’ll keep watch of him, though, so that’s that,” replies Motakai.
The two then sat their locking eyes for some time, before Kimiko sends Motakai a seductive look.
“…So~, where should we go for dinner?” asks Kimiko.
“…Dunno, honestly,” replies Motakai with a smirk.
“Doesn’t matter, because I’m going to need your anaconda for tonight after dinner,” says Kimiko, slowly licking her lips.
“…I know,” replies Motakai, smooching his lips at Kimiko.
“…I’m really hot and bothered right now...” says Kimiko, slowly getting off the chair with her seductive looks towards her fiancée.
“…As am I,” replies Motakai, “I think it’s time for some office sex”-
Before Kimiko could approach her fiancée, the door opens, and both look to find a female assistant entering the room.
“Sorry for bothering you two, but someone of importance is here to see you,” says the assistant.
“Who the fuck is it Nancy?” says an irate Kimiko.
“Relax Kimiko, we’ll have time later,” replies Motakai, reaching out and holding on to Kimiko’s hand.
“Sorry, Kimiko Watanabe. You can come in now,” says Nancy, stepping aside to let the mysterious person in. As the person enters, both Kimiko and Motakai suddenly have a big smile on who it is.
“Why, welcome!” says a joyful Kimiko.
“History is about to change,” says a smiling Motakai, along with a nod, “I’m glad you can be here.”
[Dynasty of Spheres H.Q./ Cafeteria]
Arata and Harumi, amongst many other soldiers, are seated, conversing amongst one each other while eating lunch. Harumi and Arata were sitting at a table set for only them, and they both looked exhausted, having just trained a while ago.
“…Good job on beating me this time, Arata,” says Harumi, smirking at Arata.
“I was just lucky. I’ll do better next time,” replies Arata, smirking back, “I found your weak spot as well.”
“Please, that’s not true,” says Harumi.
“Hey, you two!” shouts a man. Harumi and Arata look to their left to find a group of older men dressed in an all-black army uniform walking towards them.
“Yes, what is it?” asks Arata.
“We just came by to say good job on handling those kids a month ago! You did an awesome job!” says the man.
“It’s what we do best,” replies Harumi with a nod.
“Yup. Why did you let the other guy go?” asks another man, “You guys might really regret it.”
“No one knows the future but a higher power. I’m…just giving hope that maybe that guy will change his ways…” replies Harumi.
“Something deep happened that night…so, it’s in our best interest to just watch out for him. Hopefully, he can even become an ally like that Nexus man…” says Arata.
I do not understand what Kazuma may do next, but Michelle…and their mother…I hope they are keeping him sane… thought Harumi.

…Well, we’ll just have to wait and see then huh? Well it was nice talking to you too, have a good one!” says the man, waving and walking away with the others. Arata and Harumi wave back with a smile and continue eating.
Moments later, Harumi’s phone vibrates from her pocket. Harumi pulls her phone out and quickly answers.
“Harumi speaking,” says Harumi.
“Hey Harumi, I need you and Arata to head to Motakai’s office right this instant. I have very, very good news for you two,” says a joyful Kimiko through the speaker.
“Good news?” says a curious Arata.
“…Alright, we’ll head there,” replies Harumi.
[Dynasty of Spheres H.Q./ Floor 140]
As the two are walking along the long hallway filled with doors left and right, Arata and Harumi both look at each other quietly, both curious on what Kimiko may have in store for them.
“……I wonder what Kimiko has in store for us today?” questions Arata.
“She’s always been…OK, but not like this,” replies Harumi.
“Maybe the two finally planned a wedding date or something,” says Arata shrugging.
The two arrive at door #140, which is Motakai Noshino’s office. Arata knocks on the door, which then Kimiko yells from inside for them to enter. Harumi and Arata give each other a curious look before Arata grabs hold of the doorknob and slowly pushes it open…
[Dynasty of Spheres H.Q./ Motakai Noshino’s Office]
As the door slowly swings open, Harumi and Arata both see Kimiko and Motakai smiling at them…and then they look to a person seated in front of Motakai’s desk. After seeing this person, both Harumi and Arata were jaw-dropped at who this was: It was none other than Kyo Hayashi himself. Kyo turns around and sees the Assassin Enforcers before him. The 3 have quite the staring contest, while Motakai and Kimiko both rub their hands with smirks on their faces.
