Frayed: Trent & Daniella (Savage Trust Book 3)

His tongue swept in, filling and dominating the space. His thumb landed on her clit and began to grind the swollen pearl to dust. Daniella gasped, hips lifting and slamming as she gripped his shoulders.

Contractions rolled through her pussy, soaking his fingers in her juices, lubricating every inch of her interior in anticipation of the thick invasion of his cock.

When he broke the kiss, she moaned his name, her climax wringing out each letter.

  “Please, Trent…”

She forced her trembling thighs wider, her hands surfing down to his hips. She wanted him in her, possessing her completely, filling her with his hard flesh and the hot, stringy jets of his release.

“Please,” she repeated, her legs curling around his tight, muscular ass, her heels digging at him like spurs on a stallion.

Biting at her shoulder, he entered with a hard thrust, burying his entire length inside Daniella. Her pussy clutched and jerked along his shaft. A shudder rolled through him but he kept rocking and thrusting, the bites turning to sucking kisses.

Her arms wrapped around his shoulders. She clung to him, her clit dancing in satisfaction and need, her entire body a bundle of greed that wanted more.

More of the big cock, the bruising kisses, the sharp pinches and soft caresses.

More hard slams, relentless thrusts. More teeth and tongue, filling, squeezing…

The light from the candles fractured as her vision blurred. She was fucked through and through, both their bodies straining for that last flood of release.

Trent lifted and stared down at her face as his hips took up a bruising rhythm, his thick cock with its punishing head driving into her, rocking her from the rapacious, twisting mouth of her pussy to the rapidly dilating gate of her cervix.

Her shoulders bounced against the carpet of fresh grass. Her hands seized his hips as she tried to anchor herself to him, to last as long as he lasted, to stay with him in the moment so that they both tumbled together into the pulsing chasm that loomed just out of reach.

Harder he slammed, the force almost punishing, but there was too much pleasure running through her for it to hurt. She cried out, greedy, yearning, savoring each twisting thrust as her clit danced and her pussy sucked at his shaft. The tug was there, pulling at her self-control, unraveling it nerve by nerve.

She sucked a breath in, every muscle seizing save for the complex network of swollen tissue that coiled around his cock, knotting itself tighter and tighter, squeezing and pumping, voracious, insatiable, demanding—

A cry shook the leaves around them, not his or hers, but theirs as the flesh of their bodies molded together. Waves of pleasure collided, changed course, then ever so slowly ebbed until Trent's chest pressed against her breasts and he buried his face along the curve of her neck.

“Only you,” he whispered, lifting his head to meet Daniella’s shining gaze. “Only you can bring the light back into my life.”

  Epilogue

  TRENT

  One Year Later

Pete Garcia, the chaplain for Stark International, read from the Bible. The passage was one Daniella had picked for the wedding ceremony. The words were only slightly known to Trent, any sense of familiarity lost when the infant he held in his arms started to wail.

At three months old, Nicholas Elijah Kane was both teething and thoroughly pissed at being in the somber gray chapel housed within the headquarters building. He might have stayed quiet longer, perhaps through the entire ceremony, but he had two conditions that those around him had to meet if they wanted his compliance. First, his daddy had to hold him. Second, he needed a chilled teething ring to gnaw on.

Like the pump man in a fire brigade, Mikhael Nazarov reached into an insulated bag and pulled out a fresh ring. He handed it to Collin Stark, who stood next to Trent with an entirely different ring he was in charge of keeping for the ceremony.

Stark passed the fresh teether to Trent, who handed Stark the used one coated in baby slobber.

Across from Trent, Daniella's gaze stretched wide then her lips pinched together and pushed to one side. Beneath the long flowing gown, she moved one leg with military precision, extending it outward, her foot pushing lightly at something.

A small hand appeared from beneath the gown's hem, then a head full of dark curls. The head lifted to reveal Christine's cherubic face. Daniella smiled down then pointed her gaze at the bouquet of flowers the toddler had abandoned.

"I should have worn pants," Daniella whispered, leaning in so that only Trent could hear.

He whispered back then pulled away with a wink.

"You'll change your mind when I'm the one playing around beneath your skirt."

Her cheeks flushed to match the pink roses of the floral arrangements staged along the sides of the chapel. Then they flushed redder when Vivian Lodge reached under the gown and pulled Christine out.

"Mommy!" Christine protested, both hands reaching for Daniella. "Want Mommy!"

Abandoning her wedding bouquet, she took Christine in her arms, the little girl's legs wrapping around her waist.

"Do you still have the ring, sweetie?"

With a proud smile, she nodded vigorously while extending one thumb, the ring loosely circling down by the base knuckle.

"Daddy ring," Christine said when she finally stopped nodding.

Christine calling him "daddy" swelled Trent's chest with a fresh wave of joy. He had a son and a daughter. If they could all make it to the end of Garcia's soliloquy, he'd have a wife.

  Life couldn't get any better.

It wasn't easy getting to this point. Nicholas had been conceived that night in the garden. Trent proposed before Daniella even realized she was pregnant. But each date set had to be postponed as he was pulled back into the job he had resigned from.

Blame Stark, blame Henley for deciding he wanted to retire to middle management. Blame Trent himself for wanting to give Daniella a fairytale wedding—one that included a set date, engraved invitations, and a venue reserved months in advance.

In the end, she finally managed to convince Trent none of that mattered. To keep Christine safe, she had abandoned her old life. There would be no bridesmaids, no rows filled with guests, just the people that surrounded them now, the friends who would fight and die for them if necessary.

And the children. First a daughter as they formally adopted Christine, then a son. Both precious to him.

More accustomed to memorials than weddings, Garcia cleared his throat as he tried to rein in the participants.

"Repeat after me," he said, his gaze on Trent. "I, Trent Edward Kane…"

Trent repeated the words and all the words that followed. One arm holding Nicholas, he slid the rings onto Daniella's finger. His gaze remained riveted on his bride’s beautiful face as she said her vows.

When she finished, she held her hand out to Christine with an affectionate smile.

The toddler looked at Daniella’s outstretched hand, then shook her head.

  DANIELLA

Crouching down, Daniella whispered in Christine’s ear, "I need Daddy's ring. You still have it, sweetie. Yes?"

Christine's lips parted and then she pointed at her mouth.

"Oh, baby!" Daniella gasped, panic spreading across her face. "Did you swallow it?" She dropped down to her knees, hand on the toddler’s tummy. “Do you feel okay? Do you want us to take you to the doctor?”

The little girl shook her head and grinned with eyes full of mirth as she simply opened her mouth wider.

Daniella peered into the small, dark void worriedly. She’d heard of this happening with young ringbearers—read many a story about wedded couples needing stand-in rings to complete the ceremony as they waited for the actual ring to, ‘re-surface’ so to speak. But that wasn’t what she was concerned about. Christine had never been one to swallow random items before. And let’s face it, Trent wasn’t exactly a small man. The wide, masculine wedding band sized for his big, burly fingers could very well get lodged in Christine’s GI
tract or something for all she knew.

But before Daniella could halt the wedding and request a portable x-ray machine she was sure Stark Industries had lying around somewhere, Christine lifted her tongue up with a muffled ta-daaah and showed her where she’d been hiding the ring, giggling with delight over having been able to trick her mom.

Meanwhile, Daniella felt ready to faint with relief, but she didn’t. She had a ceremony to get back to, after all. And the man of her dreams to marry.

Sighing over the supremely romantic turn of events, she plucked the wet wedding band from Christine's mouth, wiped it off as best she could on her dress, then slid it onto the ring finger of her patiently amused groom.

They sealed their union with a kiss, only to have it be interrupted partway with Nicholas leaning forward to join in with a big, gummy, slobbery kiss against both their cheeks, which of course prompted Christine to request to be picked up as well, to take part in the festive kissing extravaganza.

At the camera flash she then saw from the corner of her eye, Daniella couldn’t help but burst out laughing. Their wedding photos were going to be hysterical. And judging by the expression on the wedding photographer’s face, it was clear he’d never captured a first married kiss quite like this one before.

Happier than she could remember ever being, she gazed up into Trent’s eyes as their daughter, still parked on her hip, proceeded to begin playing peekaboo with her wildly entertained baby brother while the chuckling chaplain gave up trying to get things back on track and declared them man and wife over all the loud, laughing kiddie fun-having.

"Can't say you didn't know what you were in for," she told her new husband with a grin.

"Chaos. Complete and utter chaos," Trent answered with a rugged smile. “But I wouldn't have it any other way,” he murmured against her lips before he swooped in to claim another perfectly chaotic kiss.
