She moaned as her body quaked in my arms.

  “No orgasms. Yet,” I muttered.

I filled her greedy wet pussy with two fingers.

“You want this dick, don’t you?” My tongue slid along her breasts.

  “Yes, Marco.”

I peeked at her ‘fuck me now face.’ Shit, she knew just how to get under my skin. I hated her for that. My hands slid around her soft waist and back. I’d leave corpses in my path to protect her. My friend knew I’d be a shell of a man if anything ever happened to her.

Circling my cock around her clit, I clamped my teeth on her earlobe.

“Oh fuck, I’m going to come.”

“No, you won’t.” I pressed my cock against her tight hole, then slid deep inside her.

  Emoni gasped. “Marco.”

As much as I didn’t want to punish her anymore, I couldn’t give in to my own desires. She needed to pay for those fucked up words. Her pussy gripped my cock with each thrust.

My balls slapping her ass and her moans were all that could be heard.

  “Marco, kiss me,” she begged.

  “No, you don’t deserve it.”

  “I’m sorry.”

  “You’re not.” I squeezed tighter.

“We both know if I was a piece of shit I would have left here and fucked a stripper. That’s what I could have done. You won’t make me out to be that man.”

Her head dropped. I gripped her chin, holding her gaze.

“As much as those women at any of those strip clubs would love to have your sloppy seconds and thirds and fourths, I don’t want them.”

I released her face, and my hand slammed against the wall. “This is where I want to be. Deep inside my wife.”

Emoni circled her pussy, taking my cock deeper. And fuck, my knees buckled. This was the effect she had on me. I backed up and laid her on the sofa. Clutching her hips, I stood on my knees and fucked her harder. Emoni’s back arched. I leaned over and bit her milk chocolate globe.

  “Oh, fuck,” I groaned.

Emoni grabbed my face and pressed her lips against mine. “They can never have you again. You’re mine.”

I was damn near in a state of drool.

“Come with me, Marco.” Her beautiful lips tipped up at one end.

“Oh, yeah. Give me that dick,” she yelled at the top of her lungs as we came.

If it wasn’t such a fucked-up argument, it would have been beautiful. Shit, what the fuck was I talking about, it was still perfect.

My face fell in the crease of her neck and our hearts beat like drums.

“I meant what I said, Emoni.”

  “I know.”

My nostrils inhaled her rose scented hair. Shit, my cock stirred to life.

Her raw words she eloquently spat at me earlier hit me like a Mack truck.

I stood. Emoni curled into a ball, facing the TV.

The silence in the room was heart stopping. I placed the blanket over her naked body, then I vacated the room.

Not sure how I felt about Emoni loving my hand wrapped around her neck. Did she want me to abuse her? There was no way I could harm her. If that was what she wanted, I didn’t see how we’d survive. My memory returned, and now my house was divided. I laid in bed alone, staring at the ceiling. The moonlight shined across our bed. Emoni had to return to therapy right away. I grabbed the remote, sat up and flipped on the TV.

Shit, I just realized I walked upstairs naked. That was how upset I was. Maceo and I had eaten dinner not too long ago. Chances of him returning to the main floor soon was slim to none.

Emoni better not walk upstairs in the nude. The door creaked open. Speak of the devil. She slipped inside wearing my wrinkled T-shirt.

“Marco, I cleaned up the mess.” She closed the door behind her.

My attention remained on the TV screen.

Emoni halted at the side of our humongous bed. I caught her fidgeting in my peripheral.

  “Marco, I’m─”

“Save it, Emoni. I don’t want to fucking hear it,” I glared at her.

“I’m no better than him?” I growled.

“That remark was like spitting in my face.”

  “I would never hurt you.”

She climbed into bed, warming up to me. Her soft hands caressed my cheeks. “I was wrong to say those words to you.”

Her soft, dark gaze heated my skin.

“I should probably sleep down the hall.” Before I could say another word, her lips were glued to mine, and she straddled me.

She lowered herself onto my cock.

  “I love you, Marco.”

Emoni’s teeth clenched my earlobe. “You know I’d do anything for you, baby.”

She halted her movements. “Do you believe me?”

“Emoni, keep moving.” My head fell back against the headboard.

“Not until you tell me you love me too.”

I gripped her ass and pounded into her pussy.

Her head dropped back. “You’re not playing fair.”

“I haven’t been able to fuck you like I wanted to until today. And I am not one hundred percent. Once I am, you’ll pay.”

I slipped my tongue between her lips. “You know I love you, Emoni,” I murmured against her lips.

She deepened our kiss as she worked those hips.

We fucked each other’s brains out half the night.

  ~

I didn’t wake up until noon on New Year’s Eve. Emoni’s wild hair draped over her pillow and face. Doubt she’d wake any time soon. I climbed out of bed and walked into the bathroom. Staring in the mirror, my eyes combed over the bite marks across the tattoos all over my chest. She was fucking wild. A smile curled my lips. Yup, we were finally on the same page.

After I murdered fucking Griff tonight, I’ll return and watch the ball drop with my wife like she requested. This was what I wanted to be in the presence of a woman who truly loved me. My heart swelled. It felt good to finally find love. Even if I did turn her into a fucking killer.

Head hung low, I palmed the counter, rethinking everything I’d done in the last few months. Maybe Luca and I should have handled Vargo and his cousin. If I wouldn’t have made her a brutal, heartless murderer, she’d be fine playing the role of a Donna who handled other wives’ problems. Shit, I wouldn’t be surprised if she offered to kill their cheating husbands. I stepped into the shower. The hot water thudded my skin. Emoni and I might be able to reach an agreement. I’d allow her to help with kills from time to time. That should keep her happy. Tonight, I’d present the compromise.

“Fuck, the rise of a Donna.” I chuckled. A heartless Donna.

My wife slipped into the encloser. “What were you saying about a Donna?”

I clutched her face. “Nothing, Bella Donna.”

“Poker lesson after breakfast?” She leaned against my chest under the water cascading over us.

  “Is this lesson number two?”

“Yes.” Emoni swayed in my arms.

Yeah, hanging out with her tonight would be a great way to bring in the new year.

  CHAPTER SEVENTEEN

  MARCO

I stepped into the empty Italian bistro in Jersey City.

“Mr. Esposito, how are you doing this evening?” Francisco smiled, shaking my hand.

“I’m fine. This meeting will take no more than forty-five minutes.”

“Take your time, Mr. Esposito.” The graying haired short man smiled.

I reached inside my red blazer pocket. “Here’s a little something for accommodating me this evening.

He waved his hands in front of him. “No, I can’t take it. Your family has always been good to me.”

“And that won’t change.” I placed a fat orange envelope in his hand.

“Grazie. When would you like your meal prepared?”

  “In fifteen minutes.”

“A glass of red wine awaits you at your table.”

“Thanks.” I proceeded to the corner booth that
provided an excellent view of the door.

I paid for the restaurant to be remodeled a few years back to meet my needs.

If I was ever in a jam, I could set up at the row of windows to my left and light my enemy up first. Like I said in case shit went south I had a way out.

One of my best bodyguards stood beside the table with his hands cupped in front of him.

  “Gage, how’s it going?”

We unbuttoned our blazers as we sat across from each other.

“Good. Maceo said your back to your old self.”

“Yeah. I understand now why you didn’t tell me Knights of Hell leader was looking for me. I had a bigger fight on my hands. Thanks for keeping the bullshit out of my path.”

“Marco, it wasn’t a problem. It’s my job to cut down on the bullshit.”

I nodded. “Now we’ll give him the undivided attention he so fucking desires.”

  We laughed.

  “We sure will.” He smirked.

“What did you find?” I sipped the glass of red wine.

“The leader of the Knights of Hell has a heroin problem.” Gage sipped his vodka on the rocks.

“He kicked the habit. Word is he fell off the wagon once a certain someone disappeared.”

I rubbed my smooth chin. “Get two of our best girls over to their club house tonight. Tell them they aren’t to get dirty. They can fuck him, and that is it. He’s the only one partying on the H.” I leaned in. “Make that crystal clear, Gage.”

“Understood.” He rose and buttoned his blazer. “I’ll let you know when it’s done.”

“Good.” I peeked at my cell.

  “We’ve arrived.”

Gage strolled out the door, and in walked my guests.

A huge grin spread across my lips as I made my way to the middle of the restaurant.

“Marco, you shut down the entire restaurant?”

My large hands swept along her waist, and my lips took hers. “Just until seven.” I peeked over Emoni’s head.

“Jocelyn, good to see you again. I hope you enjoyed Italy.”

“It was beautiful. Thank you for the long vacation.” She smiled.

  “Yeah, you’re welcome.”

Emoni grabbed her hand and escorted her to the booth.

“Tadeas, you missed all the action.”

I pulled him into a bro hug. “Good to have you home.”

  “It’s good to be home.”

I stepped back and slapped his cheek. “You know how I feel about your union with my wife’s sister. The moment you began working, the women you were associated with will want to link up.”

“Marco, I’ve already shut them down.”

“You think these women care about you telling them you have a woman. Three of the strippers texted and asked if they could see me. I replied, what did my wife tell you? One of them went on to say, what do you want to do? I replied, for you to lose my fucking number. I can’t stand a woman who would ever think it’s ok to disrespect my wife.”

I remember telling Griff the strippers wouldn’t contact me. At the time I had no idea they texted me. Because of my memory loss.

“If they only knew what you and your wife would do.” He patted my shoulder.

  “Yeah, doubt they’d call again.”

We laughed as I waved Francisco over in route to the booth.

He approached and placed four glasses of water on the table. “What would you like to order?”

Emoni nuzzled into my side as she stared at the menu and rattled off her order.

After Jocelyn and Tadeas ordered Emoni whispered in my ear.

  “Is it done?”

“I talked to Gage. He knows what to do.”

  “Good.”

“When will that be rectified?” Tadeas asked, sipping a glass of water.

I glanced at my watch. “Soon.”

  We chuckled.

Jocelyn stared between us. “What’s so funny?”

“It’s an inside joke between Tadeas and me. If I needed something done right away, he’d look at his watch and say soon, meaning it’s handled. I didn’t have to worry about it anymore.”

  “Something handled like what?”

  “Business, Joce,” Emoni clipped.

“There are just certain things about our business we can’t disclose. It’s better that way.”

Her brown eyes saddened. Tadeas whispered in her ear. The brightest smile crept across her lips. Maybe he would make her happy after all. He appeared to be sincere about his union with Jocelyn. And at this rate, he had a better relationship with my new In-laws than I did.

“Jocelyn, what did mama say when you told her I’d see her tomorrow.”

Eyes wide, she gulped down half the glass of water.

Emoni leaned in, running her hand over her brow. “Spill.”

“She’s bitter. You uprooted her and Daddy. Luckily Omar was backpacking in Europe and didn’t need to be pulled into your affairs. I think she would have really lost it then. Emoni, explain what you can to her. Hopefully, she’ll stop turning her nose up every time your name is mentioned.”

I pulled Emoni into my chest. “Baby, all you can do is try. Remember, you always have my family. They love you.”

“Except for your dad. He stares at me long and hard. I want to ask him why he looks at me with disdain, but I don’t want to come up missing.” She shrugged.

I’d kill my dad if he laid a hand on Emoni. “Don’t worry about him.” I’d set his ass straight.

  Francisco arrived with our food.

“Franc, Jim on the rocks,” Tadeas stated.

  “Coming right up.”

“I’m the only one at this table who can’t drink. Jocelyn, why aren’t you drinking?” Emoni arched a brow.

My fist curled. If she said she was pregnant, I’d pulverize one of my best men.

Her coffee bean brown eyes met mine. I watched her throat move. Was she afraid of me? What the fuck did Tadeas tell her?

Her eyes flashed to Emoni’s. “I have the entire night ahead of me. I don’t want to drink to early.”

Tadeas’s gray eyes never wandered away from his drink. What the fuck was he hiding? If Jocelyn was pregnant, it wouldn’t remain a secret much longer now that they’ve returned to Jersey City.

I slid my knife through the steak before reaching into my pocket. “Jocelyn, here are the keys to the condo across from ours. Tadeas knows where it is.”

“Marco, you didn’t have to do that.” He pointed to himself with his hands. “I can take care of her.”

I met her gaze. “It’s yours either way. Stay there or don’t.” I shrugged.

A slight smile curled her nude lips. “Thank you both.”

I glanced at the front door. Patrons were lined up.

Standing at the hostess station, Francisco glanced in my direction.

“You can open the doors,” I stated.

His staff were the first to step inside.

“Tadeas, Emoni and I have to return to Las Vegas soon. You can stay here and handle business or you two can come with us. Maceo has handled the business well in your absence.”

He leaned in. “Marco, I am your right-hand man. Maceo can handle the affairs here. We’re coming.” He threw his arm over the top of the seat behind Jocelyn’s head.

“It’s not a pissing contest. What the fuck is your deal with Maceo all of a sudden?” I slipped a sliver of steak into my mouth.

The staff sat the guests at a distance.

“I wasn’t there to protect you.” His gaze shifted to Emoni.

“What did I say to you the first day I met you?”

  She stared at him, seething.

“Got amnesia? I said he’s a piece of shit,” he growled.

I slapped my hand on the table. “Enough,” I snapped.

The entire restaurant silenced and glared in our direction.

“You will respect her no matter how you feel about her. Do I make myself clear?”

  His sinister
gray eyes met mine. “Yes.”

  We ate in silence.

There was always this underlying tension between Tadeas and Emoni. I needed to nip it in the bud tonight.

  ~

Twenty minutes later, we arrived at a night club I purchased six months ago. It was opening night. My attendance at the night club was of importance, in case a certain MC leader killed over tonight.

I remembered Maceo’s valid concern about Emoni taking it easy. She was free to relax in my sound proof office, overlooking the main floor. The glass was an illusion. A one-way looking glass. The strobe lights danced over the window and no one would ever witness a murder, unfolding or me fucking my wife against the glass. And of course, it was bullet proof. Shit, I was a mobster. The windows on our mansion, condo, and vehicles were bullet proof.

Hands stuffed in my black slacks pockets, I observed my wife and her sister admire the upscale club. Oversized crystal chandeliers hung from the mirrored ceilings throughout. Huge hand carved pillars decorated the club along with plush seating and custom wooden bars. Nadir, Catch, Axel, and Gage kept an eye on my wife and her sister. Vivian stood at the front entrance, scanning the room. She strolled over to Emoni and hugged her. My wife beamed in her presence. She was so excited to have her own hit woman. Like I said, I created a monster. Vivian walked over to a sofa against the wall and sat. She had a great view of the front door and the rest of the club. She’d observe everyone who walked through the door. That was her job to protect my wife. Too bad she wasn’t able to join us in Mexico. She broke her arm, helping her cousin Adriana with a Magarelli problem. It was no big deal. We had it covered.

The moment my meeting was over, I’d have Nadir send Emoni upstairs. The second the club was filled to capacity, which wouldn’t take long. Everyone wanted to party at Luxe night club. I’d fuck my wife against the glass. All I wanted to do was be deep inside of her. She was the one woman who could drive me crazy and piss me off at the same time. And I’d still fuck her. Yup, proved that last night.

Tadeas fell beside me and placed a glass of whiskey in my hand.

“We’ve fucked a lot of bitches over the years Tadeas, but I never thought the day would come when we’d fall in love with sisters.”

He sighed, then sipped his whiskey. “The second I entered that boutique in Portland, I was drawn to her. Not sure she was interested initially. The more time we spent in each other’s presence I needed to see her.” He ran his fingers through his medium length blond hair.
