Spoiled

I’d been fucked so often, most times rushed and hard. Just as the night on the dance floor at the club, Callum took his time with me. His attention to detail was second to none, the angle of his thrust, the undulation of his hips, his breath on my cheek, the way he made sure he wasn’t crushing me but pressing me into the mattress just enough to let me savor the weight of him.
“Oh god!” I gasped, my cock painfully erect as I humped the bed.
“Not god, boy,” he whispered. “Daddy is the one making you feel so good.”
“Yes, Daddy,” I whimpered, releasing the sheet and gripping his hands. “So fucking good.”
“You like Daddy owning every bit of your ass?” He nuzzled my neck.
“Yes, please. All yours.” I babbled and keened at each deep thrust. My muscles relaxed as my body hummed with delight and pulsed with the need for more. Something swelled inside my belly, filling my groin. I needed more.
“Come here.”
He turned us onto our sides without dislodging from inside me. Callum hooked an arm under my left leg, holding it high while using his other hand to keep me as close to him as possible. My body reacted, settling into a comfortable position with my spine gently curved to push my ass out toward his groin.
I leaned my head back, and he kissed me, picking up where he’d left off with his thrusts. His movement didn’t quicken past what it had been before. He was intent on driving me mad before I reached the peak, and I couldn’t even be frustrated.
I loved the slow slip and slide of his cock, the gentle dipping of the bed under our bodies, the long moans he dragged out of me, each kiss he pressed to my heated skin.
Callum replaced my leg and grasped my cock instead. I hissed, my cock jerking at the tentative touch.
“You’re so noisy when I fuck you.”
As to prove his point, I cried out when he pulled out completely and pushed back inside hard.
“Sorry,” I whimpered.
“No, I like it. It’s so hot the way you go wild on my cock.”
He massaged my dick, stroking me with his fist while using his finger to trace the prominent vein. He thrust into my ass, and I thrust into his fist, the dual pleasure sealing my fate. My ass clenched, the muscles spasming, my body twitching. Callum kept fucking me in that maddeningly slow way of his as I came over his fist.
Only then did he pull out of my ass, remove the condom, and jerk his cock with swift strokes. He was already close to the edge, his breath hitching. He let out a long groan as he spewed ropes of cum over my ass cheeks. When he was done, he pressed his face forward into the center of my back and kissed me.
It was so sweet I had the sudden urge to cry.
My father. My brother. Louis. I didn’t deserve any of this.
“You okay?” Callum asked me, stroking my tummy with his hand.
“I’m fine,” I lied. “That was so good.”
“Yeah?”
I nodded. “Yes, it’s never been like that with anyone else before.”
“No? Like what?”
“So slow yet so intense, you know.”
I sighed, remembering why he’d woken me up in the first place. I hated that I had to get up to finish that paper, but I’d started a new path, and I wanted to see it through.
Being with him motivated me to do better. To be better. And he thought that I needed me to change. If not for him, I wouldn’t have thought myself worth improving.
“I should get up,” I said on a groan. “I really don’t want to, but I can’t fail this paper. I have a shot of getting at least a C in this course and only because I didn’t do the other assignments at the beginning of the semester.”
“Hold on. Don’t move.”
He launched out of bed and padded silently out of the bedroom. I heard the running of water. He returned with a damp towel and cleaned me up. I usually preferred taking care of myself after sex, but I felt comfortable enough with him to allow him to be that intimate.
“Don’t move,” he said again and left the bedroom. He came back with my laptop and textbooks, which he set on the bed. “You don’t have to get out of bed. Stay there, and do your assignment.”
“But I’ll disturb you,” I protested.
“You won’t. I’ll be up with you anyway.”
I was pretty sure my eyes bugged out of my head. “What? You don’t have to do that. It’s enough that you woke me up.”
“Come on, you’re stalling. Get to work.”
Infuriating man didn’t even listen to me. I was feeling too mellow to argue any further, so I stuffed pillows at my back and got comfortable. I couldn’t recall ever doing a paper in bed while naked, and it felt different but normal.
Callum left me while I searched for the information I needed in my textbook. This paper was easier to write after doing the first one.
Thanks to Callum, I knew what I needed to do to pull off an acceptable paper. Of course I had no idea what grade I’d get, but I did know one thing for sure. I’d never felt as proud as I did completing the first paper, even though it was late.
A few minutes later, Callum returned to the bedroom, bringing a tray with two cups of coffee. One with marshmallows.
“Oh, thank you.” I took the steaming mug from him and took a sip, closing my eyes and humming at the back of my throat. “You always accused me of being spoiled, but here you are, spoiling me.”
I opened my eyes and smiled at him, pleasantly surprised at the color that suffused his cheeks.
“This isn’t spoiling you,” he replied gruffly. “It’s to bribe you into getting your paper done.”
“Then you would’ve brought me black coffee.” I drank some more, the warmth pooling into my belly and making me even mellower. “Instead, you made me this cup of decadence. This coffee tastes like luxury if you ask me, and the marshmallows are definitely high-maintenance.”
“Less talking. More working.”
“Yes, Daddy.”
I placed the cup onto the night table and returned to typing. Every so often, I’d take another sip.
True to his word, he stayed up with me, refilling my cup of coffee. When my stomach rumbled, he made me a sandwich that he allowed me to eat in his bed while he went over what I’d written and made suggestions.
“You’re really good at this,” I said after he made an insightful comment. “I know you own a business and all, but it’s obvious that you know the theory as well. What did you do before the coffee shop?”
He frowned at the computer screen as if thinking deeply, taking some time to answer. “I have an MBA from Cornell University,” he finally said. I stared at him, not completely surprised yet stunned. I knew all about Cornell because that was where my brother would’ve gone to. Not me, though. Not even my parents’ money had gotten me accepted.
“I also worked on Wall Street for several years,” he continued, not realizing how much his announcement affected me.
I stared at him. “You worked on Wall Street?”
“Yes, seems like ages ago.”
“How old are you exactly?”
I probably should’ve asked him that day before we had sex in his kitchen, but I hadn’t given a damn. His age still didn’t matter to me.
“I’m thirty-eight. Seventeen years older than you.”
“Do you mind the age difference?” I peeled off the crust of the sandwich. “You don’t think I’m going to run off with someone younger or some silly shit?”
“Even if you want to, I can’t stop you, so why agonize over it?”
I froze, shooting daggers through him. “You’d just let me go?”
He opened up his mouth to respond but closed it. “I don’t know,” he said quietly. “Why? Are you thinking about running off with a younger lover?”
“Hell, no!”
“Then the question is irrelevant.” He went back to correcting something I must’ve written wrong. “Listen, Ashton, you’re an attractive guy. I know better than to think I’m the only one you’ll be attracted t
o. If you ever do want to sleep with someone else, just give me a heads-up or something. I won’t think badly of you. I’m not the kind of controlling Daddy who wants to own you.”
I sucked in a deep breath, tempted to stone him with the bread crumbs. “What’s that supposed to mean? We’re doing an open relationship?”
“I’m telling you that you don’t have to feel bad if someone catches your fancy.”
“And if someone catches your fancy?” I threw at him.
He chuckled softly. “I’m a one-man kind of guy. I doubt anyone else will catch my attention while you’re in my life.”
“This is bullshit!” I’d completely lost my appetite and climbed off his bed, still naked. “So you just determine that I need a pass because I can’t be trusted to be faithful?”
“That’s not what I said.”
“But it’s what I heard.”
I marched out of the bedroom to him calling my name, but I didn’t acknowledge him. I was pissed. I needed a fucking drink. Everything was going so well, and he had to ruin it with his stupid selfless comment.
“Hey!” I spun away from the counter when Callum entered the living room. “Did you just walk away from me while I was talking to you?”
“I’m sorry, but I couldn’t listen to you spouting your bullshit anymore.”
“Why are you so upset?” he asked. “I just told you I’m not going to try to control you.”
“Well, maybe I want you to!”
“What?”
I shook my head. “I’ve been shit at taking care of myself, Callum. Shit at sex, relationships. You name it, I screw it up. So maybe I need you to be a little bit controlling and not so at ease, thinking about me being fucked by someone else.”
Callum was across the room with quick strides. “You think I’m comfortable, thinking of you in someone else’s bed?” he gritted out.
“That’s what you said.”
“No, I said that it’s your body, so it gives me no right to dictate what you want to do with it. That doesn’t mean it wouldn’t gut me if you were to sleep with someone else. I’d just understand if you did, but it wouldn’t hurt any less.”
“Well, how about you not be so understanding, yeah?” I snapped, then sighed, deflating. “It sounds like you don’t care if I sleep around, and that’s not the kind of relationship I want with you. Dammit, I’d be a mess if any other boy called you Daddy.”
“Ashton, I’m kind of making it easy for you here. If I don’t have any high expectations of you—”
“No, no, no.” I poked my finger in his chest, emphasizing every no. “You don’t get to give me an easy way out. I told you I want you, that I was in for a relationship with you. I won’t mess around with anyone else, Daddy. I’m yours. Can’t you tell?”
I wrapped my arms around his neck. “I’m yours,” I said as his lips settled on mine. I just hoped he believed that as much as I did.
Chapter Sixteen
Callum
Loud banging at the front door jerked me out of a deep sleep. I blinked several times, groaning at the grittiness behind my eyelids and the noise that made my head pound. Beside me, the boy in my bed curled up on his side, his breathing even despite the commotion outside.
He’d been right last night. He slept like the dead, which was something I was grateful for. The banging on the front door could only mean one thing.
I’d overslept. I never overslept. No wonder Phil was freaking out. Phil and I had a routine that always worked. I lived upstairs, so I opened up and got everything prepared for the day before turning the Open sign. I’d never had a problem with this before. He helped his wife with the kids and school before coming in to work. The banging stopped, and my phone chimed instead. Ashton merely turned over onto his stomach, mumbling his annoyance, but slept on. He must’ve gotten hot because he’d kicked the sheets off the bed, leaving his bare ass visible.
Temporarily distracted, I took in my fill of his creamy cheeks reddened with fingerprints from our lovemaking.
Sex seemed such an inadequate word to describe how things had shifted between us last night. We’d moved into “all-the-feels” territory with him declaring he didn’t want an open relationship.
Well, thank fuck for that. I had no doubt that I would’ve found a way to deal with him sleeping with someone else. I could’ve made rules for those encounters as well, such as me knowing and approving every single guy he was interested in.
Like that had worked with Mario.
The bitter thought pulled me back to the present and the ringing phone. I dragged my eyes away from Ashton’s ass, which was sending me major “fuck me” vibes.
“I’m up,” I said into the phone.
“You’re alive!” Phil cried, sounding relieved. “I was just about to call the damn police, Cal. You weren’t answering the phone, and I’ve been knocking on the door for the past couple of minutes.”
“Sorry, late night.” I found the pair of underwear I’d discarded when Ashton and I had sex this morning and hauled them on while walking to the door. “Hang up. I’ll get the door.”
He hung up, and I ran my fingers through my disaster of a hair, snagging the keys to the coffee shop from the peg on the wall. I unlocked the door and squinted at the daylight that hit my pupils.
Shit, it was later than I thought.
“Are you sick?” Phil asked, staring me up and down, his voice laced with concern. “I didn’t know what to think when I saw the shop hadn’t been opened. We have some very pissed-off customers. Or had because they left.”
“I’m not sick. I’m fine.” I handed him the keys. “Just give me fifteen minutes. I’ll take a shower and meet you downstairs.”
Phil took the keys from me but didn’t budge. “You look like shit. Your eyes are all red like you didn’t sleep much.”
He was right about that. I hadn’t slept much, since I’d been up with Ashton helping him with his paper. I could’ve left him on his own, but I’d promised, and as much as he’d urged me more than once to go to bed, the pleasure in his eyes had forced me to stay up with him.
“I had a late night.” When he tried to peer over my shoulder, I blocked the door. My broad shoulders must’ve been ineffective because his mouth dropped open, then closed and bobbed open again.
“He slept over again?” he gasped, standing on tiptoes to get another peek. As straight as he was, I didn’t care for him staring at Ashton’s naked ass. I placed a hand on his chest and shoved him, just hard enough to get him to back up.
“I was up late helping him with some assignments.” I grabbed the door and pulled it up to my shoulder.
“Some assignment that was, I bet.” He grinned. “You getting laid is almost worth us losing all those customers this morning. Well done, my friend.”
It never bothered me before when Phil talked about my partners or hookups, but him referring to Ashton like he was a random guy I’d picked from a hookup app rubbed me the wrong way.
“I’ll be down in half an hour to help you,” I said, putting an end to the conversation. “Go open up.”
“I’ll understand if you’re a little bit later.” He made a blow job gesture with his hand and mouth as he walked backward to the stairs.
“Real mature, Phil.” I scowled at his laughter and locked myself back inside the house.
I took a deep breath and turned back to Ash, who was still dead to the world. He affected me far more than I wanted to admit. I’d never failed to open the café on time in all the months since we started.
I should’ve done the responsible thing and set my alarm after helping Ashton, but it hadn’t even crossed my mind. I’d put his laptop and books away and had barely returned to the bedroom when he’d flung himself onto me. His way of thanking me was to stick his tongue down my throat.
I quietly ducked into the bathroom. Just because I had to haul ass didn’t mean he had to do the same. He didn’t have class until eleven, which gave him another three hours before he had to get up. He’d
worked so hard on his paper, and he deserved the extra hours of sleep.
I was too late for a shave. I washed up as quickly as possible, then got dressed. By then, I was convinced nothing short of an earthquake would wake him, so I was less than careful as I dug into my drawer for one of my T-shirts with the Coffee Crave logo on the back.
“Callum?” Ashton called my name softly when I sat on the bed to pull on my boots.
“Hey there, sweet boy.” Distracted, I glanced over my shoulder, smiling when I saw his dreamy face. He still looked half-asleep, eyelids heavy and mouth downturned as if he didn’t want to be awake.
“You aren’t in bed.” He eyed my getup. “Where are you going?”
“I have to get to work. Remember the café downstairs?”
“Oh. Can’t you get someone else to cover for you?”
His question reminded me how much of a difference there was between our financial situation. It had never bothered me before, but I didn’t want to think about how it might affect our relationship in light of his expectations of me.
“Phil and I run the café alone. I can’t leave everything up to him, especially during rush hour.”
He shifted, and I couldn’t tear my eyes away when he crawled down to the end of the bed on his hands and knees. Naked. Hair tousled. Perfect ass in the air. Little wonder I popped wood, even before he curled up into my lap, arms around my neck, face buried into my chest.
“So comfy,” he purred, eyes closed.
I stared down at the beautiful, tired boy in my arms. The urge to pull him tighter against me and hold him while he slept was strong, but I had responsibilities, and I couldn’t shirk them. That sort of irresponsible behavior wouldn’t teach him about meeting his own obligations.
“Ash, wake up. Pretty Eyes, I really have to go.”
One eyelid snapped open, and he smiled. “You think I have pretty eyes?”
I snorted. “I think everything about you is pretty.”
This time he opened his other eye, and he stared at me with too serene an expression. I’d expected him to respond in the same way he had to my comment about his eyes.
