Dumfollab is an ancient planet with a rich and vivid past, dating back to a time before history was recorded. The world of Dumfollab today contains hundreds of colonies, each a different color and some just a shade different from their neighbor. Each colony has its own religion, its own laws and its own unique culture.
Forests of Karassa are forests hidden deep within the Malaz Mountains.
Gooblies are small creatures with sharp fangs and claws, which evolved from dust and grime. Thought to inhabit the unwashed underbelly of Derobmi, these critters are also said to be cannibalistic and vicious.
Jif is the Derobmi goddess of multitasking, due to her multipurpose cleaning properties.
Jimble is a Derobmi sport where people hide and someone seeks them out, the seeker shouts ‘Jim’ at the other players and then runs away again to hide.
Kalamar is an orange-skinned colony, best known for being secretive and sly. Knowledge of Kalamar is a highly-guarded secret from the rest of Dumfollab. What happens in Kalamar stays in Kalamar. It is suspected that the main export of the colony is red tape, although all its records are covered in red tape so no one knows for sure.
Karin is a mythic demon of Rhecknaw, thought to be the demigoddess of obsession. The legends say that she draws the life from young women in love.
Maklaw is one of the poorest colonies in Dumfollab. Maklaw is a wild and beautiful continent, best known for its tribal communities and natural resources.
Malaz Mountains are a mountainous wilderness on the borders of Trell and Rhecknaw, thought to be uninhabited and highly treacherous for travelers.
Mayland Fallon is a myth now. Mayland Fallon existed before the 'Dawn of Time'. The legend told that he had gathered the remaining survivors of the planet after years of bloody wars and had created a suit that protected them from the bad air and something called the Radio Nation. He had divided the warring people who had survived and sent them to different corners of Dumfollab, creating a colony of people with the same beliefs. Small groups of people set off into the wilderness, and each group had a different-colored suit of an ancient man-made metal called Calanis. Over the centuries, the legends told that these suits had melded with the wearer's skin, and—hundreds of years after Mayland Fallon had passed away—these small groups of people had become colonies with each colony having its own color.
Mr. Muscle is a Derobmi deity, known as the God of Science and Strength because his powers come from 'the science of tough cleaning'.
Persil is the Derobmi goddess of brightness and light because she helps maintain the true color of everything, especially clothes.
Radio Nation is an evil dust that plagued the surface of the planet and nearly killed every living thing on it.
Sniffledors are a small rodent-like creature that appears to have evolved from a dormouse bred with a Hoover. The Sniffledor has a tiny trunk and sucks up crumbs of food. The long fur on its belly wipes clean every surface it moves across. Sniffledors are native to Derobmi and are considered pests, as they are quite dirty and smelly after all that cleaning.
Squishies are a crazy pink or brown-colored race with soft pliable skin. According to the archives, the Squishies wiped themselves out by learning to split peas.
Sraw is the capital city of Trell.
Trell is a colony in the southern regions of the planet, home to a red-hued race, which are best known for battle strategy and producing the best warriors. After over a thousand years of wars with the neighboring colony Rhecknaw, they've had a lot of practice.
Zoola is predominantly home to a blue race of people whose society is based on an ancient beer-drinking culture. The Zoolafs worship the Budda Wiser Frog and are mostly rowdy, loud and unsightly. They tend to do the stupidest things and never remember them in the morning. Overall, the Zoolafs are considered a friendly people by most of Dumfollab, sometimes too friendly.
