Taneshia was the eldest and strongly favored her Auntie China. And from what GaGa could remember of China when she was a baby, Taneshia acted just like her auntie. Sue Rabbit had given up the streets and helped his wife’s business do major numbers. Everyone was still trying to get used to China being gone, including Smooth, who was serving a harsh seventy-five years in a federal prison. He had no chance when Big Mitch boldly testified against him. Consequently, Big Mitch was killed in a home invasion months later.
Sue Rabbit and Roxy kept Smooth’s inmate account full and had been to visit him a couple times over the years, having to travel by plane since he was stationed in Virginia. In spite of Money’s death leaving Tabby alone as a single mother, Roxy made her a manager over the restaurant in Hollywood, Florida, where she lived with her little boy, who was the spit and image of Money.
“Mrs. Jackson, these ribs are delicious,” a teenaged black girl complimented.
“Thank that man over there on the grill,” Roxy said, pointing to her husband working on the enormous grill.
“I will, Mrs. Jackson,” the girl said as she strutted off to thank Sue Rabbit, who had a line of people waiting to get their BBQ ribs fresh off the grill.

Jenny was out of prison enjoying her freedom and living in Orlando. The death of China broke her down and transformed her, but with the help of Carlisha, Jenny got through her grief and restored a sane mind. She was working at one of Roxy’s restaurants in Miami on the weekends as an assistant manager while working weekdays at a gym in Orlando. The day Jenny received the letter from Roxy offering her a job once she was released from prison, had moved her.
In spite of her sexuality, Jenny had found a loving and caring man in Orlando who was ready for Carlisha to be released to join their relationship. In remembrance of China, Jenny purchased an expensive tattoo of China’s portrait on her right breast. Not a day went by, despite her newfound happiness, that Jenny didn’t think about her. But deep down in her heart, Jenny hated Smooth. She blamed him for China dying at the hands of his enemies.
Amanda was now living in Atlanta and working at an alternative school for misbehaved young females. She was a counselor who informed the young females of the dangers of going astray. She was honest about her HIV status and used herself as an example of having unprotected sex. She had all the money a person could ever desire, but no amount could cure her virus. Young people, the last thing that Amanda would have ever expected was for a childhood sweetheart to stray from his beloved sweetheart and affect her with HIV.
