  About The Author

First off I'd like to thank you for sticking with me through my entire first LitRPG/Gamelit series. It was a blast to write and I'll be doing more LitRPG in the future. I've already got the basic ideas for three more LitRPG series. My next project will be to complete the first arc of books for my Crow Hill series though, with one final book for that. The next LitRPG will come after I finish that arc.

Let's see, I'll mention a few things about myself that I haven't mentioned in the other about the authors. I never did manage to finish college. Even back in the 80s it was getting expensive and I dropped out one semester when I was trying to work two part time jobs while taking a credit overload. They retroactively raised the tuition that semester though, or some of my financial aid fell through, or something like that, and I couldn't manage to pay the raised cost, so I dropped out.

Creative writing was one of the classes I managed to finish in the time I was there though, and I did as well, or better, at it than most of my other classes. I should've known then that I'd prefer to write, but I was bound and determined to get a degree in computer math at the time.

Since then, as mentioned in my other 'about the authors' on the previous stories, I've done quite a bit of gaming of various sorts. One thing I hadn't mentioned was building zones for MUDs (you know, the text-based predecessors to modern MMORPGs?). I spent a few years on MozartMUD building zones. Last I knew both my Dragon Hatchery and the multiple zones I built for the Bronze Citadel were still in play there, although the MUD itself went down and I don't know if it was ever recovered, or if all the zones were recovered if it was.

Anyhow, thanks again for sticking with me through the series. And I hope to have more LitRPG stories for you to enjoy in the future.

  Books by Tom Larcombe:

Light Online is a LitRPG series. Eddie Hunter joins a game to work as a farmer, just not the type of farmer he'd expected.

Light Online: Book One – Farmer

Light Online: Book Two – Keeper

Light Online: Book Three - Leader

Light Online: Book Four - Defender

The "An Untimely Error" series is a triology about the wizard Merlin reawakening in the midst of WWII.

An Untimely Error - Series Page

The Crow Hill series is an ongoing series of books about a wizard in modern times where magic exists but is kept secret from the masses. The story focuses on what such a wizard could do as an economic apocalypse explodes.
