“It was good, too.” She so liked to tease him. Bern sat on the side of the bed grinning.
“What you need is a cold shower for that.” Lann picked her up in his arms and carried her in the bathroom. He turned on the cold water, and stepped under the shower faucet.
Bliss hit his arm. “Put me down, I’m freezing.”
He let her slide down his body, and then Bern got in behind her. Bern adjusted the water to warm. “Better?” he asked.
“Thank you. You are a gentleman.”
“What am I?” Lann asked.
“You are a warrior, a bit wild yet, but I’ll wear off the rough edges.”
After they showered, Lann went to the kitchen to make sandwiches. Bern carried Bliss to the bed.
“Are you too tired?”
“Not at all. I’m invigorated.”

“Then let’s not waste it.” He pulled her close and kissed her eyes, her mouth and along her sweet neck. His heart was filled with incredible joy. She was all he’d ever dreamed of and more.
He nibbled on her creamy-white shoulders and brushed his lips across her rosy nipples. All the way to her lower lips, he softly kissed her.
His fingers spread her lower lips and he sucked on her pearl. Then his tongue licked her juices to her pussy opening. “I can’t wait any longer, my love. My cock is stiff and aches with the need to feel your inner walls clench me tight.”
“Then don’t wait.”
Bern pushed slowly into her pussy. He enjoyed each slide along her sensuously soft inner walls. Her wet heat spiked his desire into a roaring passion to take her hard and fast. Everything about her was captivating and stimulating. He cupped her lush ass in his hands and tipped her hips upward, putting his dick even deeper inside her delectable pussy.
Euphoria zipped up his spine when he remembered she was his wife now and forever. His and Lann’s wife to love, and protect.
He pushed once more and pleasure rushed through his body as his orgasm rolled through him. Bliss’s pussy rippled against his cock as she yelled out her satisfaction. Bern held her tight until the last of his delight simmered into a feeling of warmth and joy.
“You two better come in the kitchen before I eat all the food,” Lann hollered through the closed door.

Bliss rolled Bern off of her. “I’m hungry.” She pulled her T-shirt and jeans on and headed to the kitchen with Bern right behind her.
The sunny room greeted them and Bliss spread her hands wide. “I’m so happy.” She smiled at her two husbands staring at her with quizzical grins. They wore jeans low on their hips and looked sexy as hell.
“I don’t think I’ll ever get tired of staring at you two.”
“Here it comes. She’s going to say we’re beautiful,” Lann teased.
“No, I’m not. You are extremely handsome.”
“We love you, sweetheart. Sit and eat your lunch,” Bern said.
“You are going to need to recharge your battery. We aren’t through lovin’ you yet,” Lann added.
“I hope that never ends.”
“Don’t worry, honey, it never will.” Bern kissed her and pulled out her chair.
Lann nodded. “He’s absolutely right.”

Bliss stood to the side of the room and watched as her customers moved around the shop. Her preopening last night had been a huge success. Today, a line of ladies had been waiting for her to open the doors. She was glad she’d hired a temporary assistant just before the grand opening. All her time today had been taken ringing up sales until Sunn gave her this break.
The bell above the front door rang again. Bliss glanced at the entrance and smiled. Bern and Lann walked in and made their way to her side.
“This place is as crowded as it was this morning,” Lann said.
Bern looked around the room and back at her. “You must be exhausted.”
“I am. But it’s a good tiredness. I’m so glad I put in the second order early, or I’d be out of most of my inventory.”
“Can we help with anything?” Bern asked.
“Neither Sunn nor my assistant and I have had any lunch. If you’d get us some food we could eat in my office.”
Lann raised an eyebrow. “You don’t want us to help in the store while you eat, do you?”
She grinned at him. “Why not? Surely you can run a cash register.”
His face turned a rosy red. “We’d have to bag all those embarrassing feminine items.” His forehead wrinkled.
“And that scares my big, manly husbands?” She looked from Lann to Bern. They both nodded.
“Hmmm, I might have us take turns eating.” Then she burst into laughter. “I do love teasing you, Lann. But usually Bern doesn’t fall for it. This was great.”
“Wait ’til we get you home. Payback is hell,” Bern warned, but he couldn’t keep the smile off his face.
“I love what you two call payback. Go get me food. I’m starving.”
They’d just left when the door opened and Addie and Clara came in. Clara ran to her. Bliss knelt down to greet her.
“Auntie Bliss, your room smells sweet.” She threw her little arms around Bliss’s neck.
“I’ll have to show you some pretty soaps. They smell sweet, too. Your momma can use them to bathe you.” Bliss straightened and smiled at Addie. “Thanks for coming.”
“I wouldn’t miss it. My husbands said to not come home empty handed. They want me to buy something special.”
“I have several items you’ll like. Go look on the table by the far window while I show Clara the soaps and lotions.”
Bliss took Clara’s hand and they walked to a center table. She opened a bottle of lotion. “Tell me what this smells like, Clara.” Bliss put a small amount on Clara’s fingers. “Rub the lotion all around your hands.”
Clara did as she told her. Her little face intent on doing it just right. Then she looked at Bliss.
“Now, sniff your hands and tell me what they smell like.”
Clara took a deep breath. Her little face lit up. “Lemons.”
“You’re right. You can have this bottle if you’d like.”
“Yes, thank you, Auntie Bliss.” She held the bottle tight against her chest.
“This soap goes with the lotions.” She handed her a bar wrapped in designer paper. “I’ll get you a bag to carry your goodies in, and I have a bag with candy in it for your brothers. We can’t leave them out.”
“Can I have candy, too?”
“Yes, I saved a few pieces to put in your bag.”
“I love you, Auntie Bliss.”
“I love you, too.” She kissed Clara’s cheek.
“I’ve found what I want.” Addie walked to their side. “Will you ring up my purchases? Sunn and your assistant are busy.”
“Not today. This is my gift to you.”
“I want to pay. I insist.”
“Next time I’ll let you.”
Addie looked around the store. “You’re going to be a huge success. How does it feel?”
“It’s a dream come true. All those years I wondered if I’d really be brave enough to do it. When I moved out and tried to start on a shoestring I was scared, but determined. And now I’m so happy I have to look in the mirror sometimes and make sure it’s me, and it’s real. I got more than I dreamed possible.” She nodded at Bern and Lann coming in the door. “How could any woman want more?”
“I understand. I feel the same way every day I wake up beside my husbands. Having the children with me has made my life complete.” She glanced around. Bern and Lann had taken the bags of food into Bliss’s office. Addie added, “You’ll be the first to know outside of my husbands and I. I’m going to have a baby in about six months.”
Bliss hugged her tight. “I’m so glad for you.”
“How about you?” Addie asked. “You love children.”
“We’ll see. I have a business to keep me busy for the time being.”

p; Bern came to their side. “Go in and eat. I’ll help out until you finish.”
“You’re sure?”
“Yes. Go before I change my mind.”
“We’re leaving,” Addie said. “See you soon.”
When Bliss leaned down, Clara hugged her neck. Then she took her mother’s hand and as they walked out she was telling her mom all about her goodies, and the candy.
“Lann and I are very proud of you.”
“I know. Thanks for all the support. Neither of you have complained even once when I got home late every night.”
“It’s your dream. We realize how important this is to you. It’s not a hobby, it’s a career.”
She put her arms around his neck. “You are really special.” Bern blushed and she grinned. “My bashful husband, but not in private, thank goodness.”
“You’ve changed me. I’m getting more demonstrative in public.”
“I’ll go eat. I’d love to stand here and watch you ring some of these ladies’ purchases, but I’m too hungry.”
“You owe me,” Bern said as she headed to her office.
Later when Bliss locked the door for the night, she, Sunn, her assistant, and her husbands collapsed in nearby chairs.
“It’s a good thing we have a cook, or you and I would be preparing dinner for the next few months at least,” Lann said. “Our wife is going to be a busy lady.”
Sunn grabbed Bliss and swung her around in a circle. “You’re a success. The women loved the shop and most of them were already talking about return visits to see what new items you’d have.”
“Hopefully, all this attention will last.” Bliss smiled at the people around her. “Thank you all for being a part of this with me. Sunn, you even closed your office to help me last night and today. And”—she smiled at her assistant—“you are hired permanently. You were good with the customers and a lot of help.” Bliss put her arms around Bern’s and Lann’s waists. “Most of all thank you for not once trying to take over or suggest I not work so hard. All your support has meant the world to me.”
Lann popped open a bottle of champagne and poured them all some in plastic glasses. “Here’s to the continued success of your shop and any future endeavors.”
“Here, here.” They all raised their glassed to the toast.
Epilogue
Bliss walked into the ranch house, set her purse down, and pulled off her coat. Lann and Bern were sitting in the two lounge chairs by the fire.
“You both stopped work early today. It’s only four o’clock.”
“We wanted to be here when you got home. Did you hire another assistant?” Bern asked.
“Yes, I did. But it doesn’t mean I won’t still go in three days a week as we agreed.”
“Right,” Lann said. “But not when the weather’s bad, and definitely not when you get close to your due date.”
“You’d think I was the first woman to have a baby.”
“You’re our wife and this is our first child. We can’t be too careful,” Bern stressed.
“Yes, you can. I’m going to ask the doctor to tell you two to back off.”
Lann nuzzled her neck. “It won’t do any good. It’s the way we are.”
“My shop has been such a success. I have trouble leaving it in the hands of another person.”
“You said you liked the lady you interviewed, and that she’s older and seems very responsible,” Bern reminded her.
“True, but when I can’t go in at all, for a short time”— she said to remind them she wasn’t staying away from her business for long—“I’ll hire a part-time assistant for Saturdays.”
“We’re very proud of you,” Lann said. “We don’t want to interfere in your business, but we want you to be safe.”
Bern pulled her onto his lap and rubbed the small baby bump. “We’ll drive you into town whenever you feel you really need to be there. Even during the last few months,” he added.
“Thanks.”
“Our Scottish cook, Aulay MacFie, has been cooking all day. Ever since we told him the good news, he’s been cooking special meals for you,” Lann said.
“How did some of your people get Scottish blood?”
“You know our men. They ranged far and wide when our ancestors lived in Europe.”
“I know your people and the spark in your eye. Cool it. I’m a wee bit tired, as Aulay would say.”
She leaned her head back against Bern’s chest. She might be tired, but it’d never stop her from loving her men or being in love with them. Still, she liked to tease.
Lann knelt at Bern’s feet and took her hand. “I love you, darlin’, tired or not.” He also rubbed the small bump on her tummy.
She clasped Lann’s hand and rubbed Bern’s arm encircling her waist. Joy and happiness had been a constant for her every day since her wedding.
“I love you two, also, forever.”
