The Real Trap Wives Of Memphis Page 13

“My nigga always come through. I know you gotta’ be tired of losing whips like this, but time is money and a nigga likes to eat,” Big Weedy said, dapping me up. I had lost several cars over the years from misdeeds, but I always ended up with something hotter so I wasn’t trippin’.

“You know how it is bein’ a trap star. Make sure them niggas check that trunk before your boys touch it,” I instructed.

Big Wendy puffed out his huge leathery lips. I swear this nigga looked like the Michelin tire man. “You know I am thorough with my work. What I owe you?” I gave him the side eye as he slid his hand into his 6x joggers and pulled out a nice size wad of cash. He peeled off 20 large before walking over to the garage. I knew I was taking a loss on my car and Tez’s truck, but the most important thing was I still had my weight in the trunk. We were in and out within minutes. I thought it was all good until now.

“How you know this bitch ain’t bluffing Davion?”

“Trust me this bitch knows what she’s talking about.”

“Hold that thought. This is Legacy calling me.” I clicked over waiting to hear her explanation for leaving without telling me.

“You ought to be glad that I love you,” she asserted.

“What? What do you mean? Where are you anyway?”

“I am about to go see my girl in the hospital, but that nigga Tez almost just lost his life. Speaking of that though, Alonzo wasn’t so lucky.”

I pulled the phone away from my ear making sure I hadn’t heard her wrong. “What did you just say?”

“I said that Alonzo wasn’t so lucky. He is a done deal now. We don’t have to worry about his sneaky ass anymore. And as far as Breland, I got my own set of plans for him since you all were too scared to finish him yesterday.”

“How do you know what happened yesterday?” I asked Legacy.

She laughed animatedly into the phone. “I don’t miss a fuckin’ beat. I got cameras on that nigga’s house just like I got cameras on Davion’s and Kortez’s. I don’t trust any nigga. I will deal with you when I get home, though.” Legacy hung up the phone, and even though I heard Davion talking, but I didn’t have nothing left to say. My wife thought her dick was bigger than mines and I was about to have to show her for the first time who wore the pants.

  MAKAYLA

To say I was hurt was putting it mildly. I had just ran all that shit to Alisha about her man and how she needed to be encouraged while my man was out getting STD’s and shit. That note had me mad as hell; especially knowing I had heard that bitch Jasmine’s name before. Sure there were a lot of Jasmine’s in Memphis, but I specifically remember Davion introducing one to me at my birthday last year. We were having drinks at The Happy Mexican when she walked up, but I was drunk and couldn’t remember what she looked like.

Too embarrassed to call my girls, I went on and had dinner by myself. My lobster, creamed spinach, and chef salad was not half as good as it would have been if we were together. “Why you always gotta’ be a fuck up?” I questioned myself. All my life I never got the good guy; maybe because I always found them to be boring. I slid my ring off of my finger, placing it in my purse as I called the waitress over for my check.

“Oh I am so sorry. I forgot to inform you that your dinner has already been taken care of.”

“That’s the least my little cheating ass husband could do,” I muttered under my breath as I fumbled around in my purse for her tip. “I guess this is his little way of making up for ruining our anniversary, but it’s gonna take a lil’ bit more than dinner to fix this shit. Sweetie, don’t ever get married because these nigga’s ain’t worth the headache.” I handed the waitress a 20 and took another sip of wine.

“Your husband?” she looked confused. I followed her eyes over to where a nice looking dark-skinned man with low cut waves and slanted eyes was looking at me. He raised his glass, so instinctively I did the same. I couldn’t front like he wasn’t thank-ya-Jesus fine as he made his way over to my table in his perfectly tailored Brooks Brother suit and Brahmin driving loafers. His crisp white shirt contrasted from his dark skin, making his whole body seem to glow.

“Give the lady back her money. I will take care of your tip. The waitress returned my 20 as he handed her a black card. “How was the service my dear?” he asked. I tried my best to ignore the New York accent because they always did something to me.

“It was pretty good,” I answered before taking a sip of wine to cool me off. He seemed to be staring into my soul as he studied my face. If he kept looking at me like that he might end up getting more than some conversation.

“Well go ahead and grab us two orders of tiramisu and I have a hundred for your trouble,” the gentleman said to the waitress. I thought she would break her neck running to grab or orders.

“Thank you. Do I know you?” I questioned. He smiled and dimples sliced into his face. I definitely had to watch myself around him because I could feel my panties getting wet. Between the wine, my attitude, and his sexiness, I was in for some trouble.

“You don’t know me yet, but you will,” the mystery man answered. I wondered what he meant, but I couldn’t say that I cared as he lifted my hand to dance. Maybe this would be the best anniversary after all.

When I Was Your Man by Bruno Mars began to play as he held me so close to him I could smell his aftershave.

“I see you got a ring on your finger, but what fool would leave something so beautiful to have dinner alone?” he whispered. I pulled back slightly to meet his eyes, but he pulled me back into his chest; I was thankful because his question made me tear up.

“Today is my anniversary and I found out some things that I didn’t want to find out. I had to get away from the house before I killed him.”

“Damn was it that bad?” he questioned before spinning me around. I didn’t even answer him. I just allowed him to dip me before pulling me back up to meet his lips. If I hadn’t timed it right I would have kissed him on his lips, but I turned my head in the nick of time. I don’t know what it was he was doing to me, but I could feel my heart and my pussy throbbing to the same beat. I couldn’t do anything but clench my thighs together to try to dull my senses, but that only made matters worse.

He led me back over to our table as the song ended. The waitress brought out our dessert, but what I wanted was not on that plate. I could see he felt the same way. He dug his spoon into the dessert and slowly slid the spoon in his mouth. “Do you taste this good?” he asked.

“Now why would you ask me something like that when we just met?” I took a bite, purposely letting the chocolate leak down the corner of my mouth before licking it away slowly. My husband could walk through the door at any moment and I couldn’t care less with his lying ass.

“I was just asking a question. I didn’t mean to sound mannish, but I was curious.” He took another spoonful and I had to let my spoon fall in my bowl.

  “Problem?” he asked coyly.

“You really doin’ too much with that spoon,” I remarked.

“I could do even more without it. You wanna find out?”

“I really need to be getting my married ass out of here before I do something we won’t regret,” I swayed a little as I stood to my feet and grabbed my purse.

“At least let me walk you out,” he offered standing up. I nodded my head and he followed me out of the restaurant. We walked to the car in silence, but I could feel his eyes on my ass. Who could blame him?

“Well here I am. Thank you uh…”

“Oliver, my name is Oliver.” He extended his hand for me to shake it and I fought to leave it at just that. After a few rubs on the back of my hand I slowly slid it out of his grasp to find he had slid a business card into it.

  “You own a plumbing company?”

“Yeah. I am good at unclogging pipes. Give me a call if you need yours done.” He unlocked my door for me and handed me my keys after I was safely inside.

“Thank you, Oliver. You kind of salvaged my night.”

p; “The pleasure was mine, Makayla. Make it home safe and use that number.” I watched him as he walked back into the restaurant before pulling out. I had to make sure he wasn’t following me. Once I got down the street I saw that Davion had blew up my phone and then it suddenly dawned on me; I never told Oliver my damn name.

  LEGACY

I knew that Jacori was somewhere tripping, but I was tired of having to clean up his messes. This nigga was starting to become an embarrassment to me and I didn’t know how long I could hold up this ruse of him running things to my father. He was just a tad too weak for me. When we first met Jacori was full of fire and showed signs of being a nigga fit for the position he was being put in. He knew I was the type of woman that needed a nigga with a strong back and a strong mind, but lately I felt like I needed to be buying him panties instead of boxers. Many nights Mr. Squirmy kept me company because I couldn’t even take him serious enough to fuck him. Damn shame I had to put cameras on him to make sure everything got done.

I was beyond irritated that I had to shoot Alonzo, but every war had a casualty. The more I drove in silence, the harder I thought about what I wanted, and right now it wasn’t Jacori’s weak ass. I scrolled through my phone locating Carter’s number. He was the realest nigga I knew and the man I should have married, but he scared me because he was the only nigga that ever put me in check and kept me there.

“Long time no hear,” he answered.

“Yeah I know. Where you at?” I didn’t want to tell him that I was around the corner from his crib because I didn’t wanna appear to be a stalker.

“I am at the crib for the time being. You know I’m on house arrest.”

“Shit. I forgot all about that,” I lied. “I was free for a lil’ minute so I wanted to come by and see you.” The line went quiet and I knew it was only because he was trying to find a way to talk in code. His nosey ass wife was always lurking. Good thing she thought I was his cousin.

“Yeah cuz you can come through. I got some A1 loud in too.” I laughed into the phone because that was our code for his pussy eating skills. He was A1 and had to put something in my mouth to keep me from being loud.

“I’ll be there in a few,” I replied before disconnecting the call. It might sound messed up to some but all I ever got from him was head. I was never one to be on no trifling behavior because I’m too scared of catching something and I had enough respect for my husband not to go all the way.

After a few more stoplights I turned onto Carter’s street and pulled into his driveway behind his wife’s Altima. Mustering the fakest smile I could offer, I stepped out of the car and walked up to the porch. The door opened so fast it kind of startled me, but seeing who was on the other side damn near knocked me off my feet.
