  Gray

His little house was crowded and all Gray wanted to do was pick up with Kaiah where they had left off—on his sofa with her completely naked and reading every dirty thought that ran through his mind about her. Kaiah had offered her room to Aylen and Rios, offering to keep Ryker with her in his little family room. There was no way he’d want her sleeping on his crappy sofa. Plus, he offered his couch to Echo and he was pretty sure that was going to piss off his sexy little seer to the point of her refusing his offer of sleeping in his bed tonight.

He was in his master bath taking a quick shower when Kaiah barged in, interrupting every dirty fantasy playing through his mind about her. “What the hell did you do, Gray?” Kaiah growled. He pulled the shower curtain back to peek out at her and yep—she was pissed. Her arms were crossed over her ample chest and the way she was staring him down made him hot.

“You’ll have to be more specific,” he said. He knew exactly what she was referring to but he liked to watch Kaiah stew. The madder she got, the hotter he thought she was, and right about now, he found her to be pretty fucking hot.

“You,” she said, pointing an accusing finger at him. “You invited Echo to stay the night on your sofa,” she hissed. Gray rinsed the soap from his body and cut off the water. He didn’t mind giving Kaiah a show—hell, he was going to enjoy seeing her blush. Gray pulled the shower curtain across the metal bar and gave her the full frontal view of his body. Kaiah gasped and covered her eyes with her hands, her skin turning an adorable shade of pink. He could tell by the way her heartbeat and breathing sped up that she was just as turned on as she was embarrassed and that gave him the courage to take things a step further.

“He needed a place to stay,” Gray defended. He grabbed his towel and stepped from the shower, standing so close to Kaiah that he could feel her warm breath on his damp skin. God, he wanted to touch her, pull her up against his body, and pick up where they left off. “He’s your father, Kaiah and I thought that you’d want to get to the bottom of who was coming for you and Ay.”

The truth was, he wanted to figure this shit out with her father because he was pretty sure that it would be his only chance at keeping her safe. Human hunters coming for Kaiah were bad enough but now, they had to deal with shifters who wanted to destroy her and Ay for being half breeds. Keeping her safe was his top priority and something he feared he wouldn’t be able to do. Losing Kaiah would gut him and he wasn’t sure how he wanted to playthings. Gray wasn’t sure he could walk away now, even if he wanted to. Kaiah had come to mean too much to him but the thought of losing her to hunters like he had his family, scared the shit out of him.

“Oh Gray,” Kaiah whispered. She had pulled her hands free from her face and snaked them around his neck, pressing her body up against his. He knew she had been reading his thoughts again but he didn’t give a fuck. Having Kaiah’s body up against his made him forget everything—including his damn name.

“I should be pissed that you’re in my head again but honestly, I’m getting used to it, Baby Girl.” Gray dropped the towel that was wedged between their bodies and wrapped his arms around her, cupping her curvy ass through her cut off shorts. He loved the way she paraded around his place wearing ripped up cut off shorts and tank tops that did nothing to hide the fact that she wasn’t wearing a bra. Gray knew she did it to get his attention and Kaiah fully had it. She was his walking wet dream.

“I trust you to keep me safe,” she whispered, her lips so close to his he could almost taste her. “Daddy,” she murmured against his mouth. He gave up trying to resist her—he had already done enough of that. Gray kissed his way into her mouth, licking and sucking her swollen lips. By the time he released her, they were both panting with need.

“Stay with me tonight,” he whispered. “Stay in my bed, Kaiah.” He was asking her but knew he sounded more like he was giving her a command.

“What about the baby?” she asked.

“He can sleep with his parents,” Gray offered. “If he wakes up—we can bring him in with us. I need you, Baby Girl,” he said. Now, he sounded more like he was pleading with her to stay in his bed but he didn’t give a fuck. He’d get down on his damn knees if it meant she’d be his.

“All right,” she agreed. There was a soft knock on his bedroom door and Kaiah smiled up at him. “I think that might be Ay now.” She giggled and winked at him.

“I’m never going to get used to your abilities, Honey,” he grumbled, releasing her. She was almost out of his bathroom when she turned back to look him over.

“Um,” she squeaked. “Give me just a minute?” she asked.

“Yep,” he said, not bothering to cover himself back up. He didn’t need to be able to read Kaiah’s mind to know exactly what she was thinking and he had to admit—he was on board with every dirty thought she seemed to be having.

“Be right back,” she said over her shoulder. He stayed in the bathroom, giving Kaiah and Ay some privacy. He could hear the muffled conversation and Aylen’s giggle. He wasn’t sure what they were saying but when he heard the bedroom door close again, he worried that Kaiah had changed her mind and left. Gray peeked out into his room and found Kaiah standing in the corner by the bedroom door, her hand still on the doorknob and her eyes closed.

“You all right, Baby Girl?” he asked.

“Yeah—I think so. Ay just told me that if I go through with this—with us, I won’t be able to go back. You know, to just being friends with you, Gray.” Kaiah looked so unsure of what her next move should be but he wouldn’t push her. It wasn’t what he wanted from her. He wanted Kaiah—all of her, willingly giving in to his every demand.

“You’re sister’s right, Baby Girl. Be sure that you want what I’m asking from you because once we do this, I won’t let you go. You’ll be mine,” he growled. Kaiah shivered and released the doorknob. Gray crossed the room and towered over her and when Kaiah leaned into his body, he hoped that was a good sign. “I need to hear the words, Kaiah. I can’t read your mind.”

Kaiah giggled, “Yes, Gray. I want you to make me yours, Daddy,” she said. God, when she called him her daddy, it made him so hard. All he could think about was getting his cock into her and making her scream out his name over and over.

Kaiah brazenly reached for his cock and wrapped her small hands around him, stroking his shaft. Gray couldn’t help the moan that escaped his parted lips as he thrust into her palms, needing more.

“On your knees, Baby Girl,” he ordered. Kaiah smiled up at him and did as he asked. She hit her knees, never taking her hands from his cock and Gray was sure he was going to come before she even got her sweet lips around him.

“Mmm,” she hummed, licking her lips.

“Fuck,” Gray spat. “You keep doing shit like that Baby Girl, and this won’t last very long. Take me, Kaiah. I like to be sucked in deep,” he ordered. Kaiah leaned forward on her knees and licked her soft, warm tongue over the head of his cock. He greedily shoved his way into the back of her throat and she hummed her approval around his dick, cupping his balls with her hand. Kaiah worked him in and out of her hot mouth and within minutes, he lost himself down her pretty throat. She took all of him so beautifully even licking his cock clean before she released him. Kaiah smiled up at him as he ran his thumb and finger over the corner of her mouth, collecting that last of his seed. She pulled his fingers to her mouth and sucked them clean.

“Shit, Baby Girl, that was so fucking hot.” Kaiah gifted him with her shy smile and leaned back on her thighs to wait for his next command. She was his and God, she was so fucking perfect.

Gray reached for her hand and she took his, letting him help her to stand. Kaiah slowly worked her way up his body, letting him feel every inch of her and when she shamelessly rubbed her hot core on his big thigh, he growled and practically threw her down onto his bed.

“I need to taste you, Baby Girl,” he said.

“Please, Daddy,” she begged. He didn’t want her to ever beg him for anything—espec
ially not sex.

“I’m going to take good care of you, Baby Girl,” he assured. Gray made quick work of Kaiah’s skimpy shorts, practically tearing them off her body. He tugged her tank top over her head, leaving her completely bare under his body and he couldn’t take his eyes off her. She was so fucking gorgeous and Gray suddenly felt unsure about claiming her. He had made her promise that she was ready for everything that was about to happen between the two of them but in truth, he wasn’t sure if he was. He wanted her for so long now—finally having her was a heady feeling. If he took this next step with her, would he be everything that she needed? Would he be able to give the young seer everything she wanted? Could he be everything Kaiah desired in life?

“Gray,” Kaiah whispered. “I want you—I don’t care about anything else right now except what’s happening here, between the two of us. Please,” Kaiah begged him again. He leaned over her body, kissing her mouth, leaving a trail of little bite marks as he worked his way down her writhing body.

“I want you too, Kaiah,” he promised. “I have for so long now.” He settled between her spread legs and the whimper that escaped her chest was nearly his undoing. She was just as invested in whatever this was happening between the two of them. He knew that denying her for so long was hard on him but he never imagined how it was affecting her. Kaiah reached down and ran her trembling hands through his dark unruly hair.

“Please,” she repeated. Gray smiled up at her, knowing that he looked every bit the wolf that he was. He wanted to devour her—his inner wolf howled from deep inside of him and he knew that denying either of them wasn’t something he’d be able to do any longer.

“Kaiah,” Gray whispered against her drenched folds. “So fucking beautiful,” he praised. He licked his way up her core to find her throbbing clit, sucking it into his mouth, loving the way she bucked and writhed uncontrollably underneath his mouth.

“I won’t last long,” she insisted. “It’s been so long,” she whimpered. Gray slipped two big fingers into Kaiah’s core, filling her and she rode his hand and his mouth like a woman on a mission, taking everything he was offering and demanding so much more. When she came, Kaiah shouted out his name, calling him her daddy and all he could think about was shoving his cock into her willing body.

Gray stood, pulling her limp form to the edge of the mattress and sunk into her core, not giving her any warning. Her greedy pussy spasmed around his dick, still sensitive from her orgasm. Kaiah whispered his name and he knew he wasn’t going to last after finally getting inside of her. She was everything he had ever dreamed she’d be and so much more—she was his. He pumped in and out of her body, setting a punishing pace and when Kaiah’s core spasmed around his cock, he couldn’t hold back any longer, spilling his seed deep inside of her body.

“Mine,” he whispered as he collapsed on top of her, pressing her body into the mattress. Kaiah wrapped her arms and legs around him, holding him tight.

“Yours,” she murmured against his neck. “Always, Gray.”

  Kaiah

Kaiah woke from her dream—the same dream she had been having for over a week now. She saw a young man who looked so much like her and Aylen, that she wondered if she was seeing the future. Could she be dreaming about little Ryker all grown up? That wasn’t usually how her visions worked but Kaiah was always open to the possibility that her gifts were evolving. Hells, things seemed to be changing daily in her life why wouldn’t her abilities do the same?

She looked at the alarm clock that sat on Gray’s bedside table and softly moaned when she realized that it was only four in the morning. She decided to get out of bed, leaving the sexy wolf shifter who had wrapped himself around her body, to make some tea. That usually calmed her mind enough to help her back to sleep and if not, she would make breakfast for their houseful of guests.

Kaiah padded down to the kitchen to find the dim light coming from the room. Her sister sat at the table nursing Ryker and she looked so tired, Kaiah felt bad about not taking him during the night to give Aylen some much-needed sleep. “Sorry—I didn’t hear him cry,” Kaiah said.

Aylen smiled at her and she could tell that her sister was going to give her some shit about her and Gray. The night before, when she told Ay that she was going to spend the night in his bed, her little sister warned her to be careful. Her sister hinted that losing her heart to the old shifter might not be such a good idea but it was too late—Gray already owned her heart; he just didn’t know it yet.

“I’m surprised you couldn’t hear him,” Ay whispered. “Your walls are paper thin.” She smirked at Kaiah.

“Okay, I get it,” Kaiah yawned. “You heard Gray and I having sex,” she said. “Big deal.”

“From all the screaming and um—what did you call him, Daddy? Yeah, it sounded like a pretty big deal, Sissy. It sounded like a huge deal—if you get my meaning.” Oh, she got her sister’s meaning all right and there would be no way she’d tell her nosey little sister just how huge his deal was.

Kaiah filled the teapot and put it on the stove to heat the water. “Yeah—well, Gray’s deal size or what I call him isn’t any of your business.” Aylen giggled.

“You good?” her sister asked, finally sobering.

“Yeah,” Kaiah said. She sat down across the table from her sister and watched as Ryker nursed like he hadn’t been fed in months and not just hours. “He sure is hungry. Don’t you feed the kid every couple hours or so?”

“Yeah well, my little wolf can’t seem to get enough,” Aylen said, looking down at her son. Kaiah felt a pang of hurt that she didn’t have that type of bond with a little one of her own. She had always wanted kids but her relationship with her ex-husband was so tumultuous that bringing children into the world with him didn’t seem like a viable option. Still, she hoped that someday she’d have her own kids to take care of. The question was—would Gray want that too? He had that life once and lost it—would he want that again with her?

“I know you are trying to change the subject, Kaiah,” Aylen accused. “You sure you're ready for Gray. I see the way he looks at you and I know he can be kind of intense. Hell, I can hear everything he thinks about you—he’s in deep, Sissy,” her sister warned. Kaiah knew just how much Gray wanted her. She saw into those same thoughts and saw all his desires for her. But what her sister didn’t know was that she felt the same way about him.

“Yes,” Kaiah whispered. “I want Gray—all of him. I’ve waited so long for him to give me a chance, I won’t run now.”

“You two have been circling each other for months,” Aylen agreed. “What changed?”

“Not sure,” Kaiah said. “At first, I was the one pushing him away. He scared me—the way he watched me and the things he thought about me, he was intense. But, after everything that happened with the hunters and Rios, I started to see a different side of him. It didn’t hurt that he charmed Anali—our grandmother is a hard nut to crack. I decided that if she liked and approved of Gray, then why shouldn’t I? I finally was ready to give him a chance and that’s when I could feel him pulling away from me. Something snapped inside of him. Everything with the hunters coming after us reminded him of everything that happened with his wife and pups. But, that’s not my story to tell. It’s his. He’s finally giving me a chance again and God, I want to take it.”

“Just be safe,” Aylen whispered. She burped Ryker and stood, handing him to Kaiah. Aylen made them each a cup of tea and sat back down across the table from her.

“You mind watching him so I can get some more shut-eye?” she asked.

“Not at all,” Kaiah crooned, kissing her nephew’s little bald head. “I’d love to spend some time with Ry-Ry,” she teased. Aylen scrunched up her face, making Kaiah giggle. “You don’t like that one?”

“No, and if Rios heard you call his son that, he’d be pissed,” Ay said.

“I’ll keep working on my special nickname for this little guy and you go and get some sleep. I probably won’t be able to fall back to slee
p anyway.” Kaiah carefully sipped her tea.

“Visions?” Aylen asked, knowing all too well what it was like to lose sleep over dreams.

“Yes,” Kaiah said. “I keep seeing a boy—well, he’s not exactly a boy. He’s more like your age and he looks like us. Maybe it’s Ryker?” she questioned.

“You usually don’t see that far into the future, do you?” her sister asked.

“No,” Kaiah admitted. “I’m just not sure who else it could be.”

“I might be able to help with that,” Echo said, standing in the doorway to the kitchen. Kaiah wasn’t sure how much of their conversation he had heard. She hoped he didn’t hear the parts about her and Gray—they weren’t to the point in their father/daughter relationship where she’d feel comfortable with him knowing about her love life. And she was damn sure Gray wouldn’t approve of a virtual stranger knowing what they had been up to.

“How so?” Aylen asked. Every time Ay addressed Echo, she seemed so cold. Kaiah wasn’t sure if her sister realized that her tone was filled with so much hatred towards their long lost father but she was starting to feel bad for Echo.

“I think I might be able to help you with who you’re seeing,” Echo said. He walked into the kitchen and pulled out a chair between the two of them. Her father was hard for her to read and Kaiah worried that he was blocking her somehow. People usually blocked her when they had something to hide and she worried that what her father was hiding from them might be harmful enough to destroy their whole family.

  “Who is he?” Kaiah asked.

“He’s my son,” Echo whispered, looking between the two of them. “You have a brother.”
