“I’m okay, Noah,” Hannah said quietly, slipping her fingers into his. “I have herbs and I’m feeling better. Umm…I know you’re not my doctor…but will the…the flood thing…”

“You spent most of the last eighteen hours lying flat,” Noah exhaled slowly, searching his memory. “The major portion of the…”

“Cleaning?” Hannah provided tactfully, pushing herself up and welcoming his arms around her.

“Yeah…good word…it should mostly be over for you. You’re pretty healthy…”

  “That’s why I was fainting…isn’t it?”

“You were faintly because you expend more energy than you take in fuel,” he said with a stern frown meeting the wide blue eyes when she sat upright and stretched. “Come on…let’s get you some food…” Both adults turned to the slowly walking little girl, palms flat and Noah’s phone lying in the center.

Hannah looked up at him and shook her head slightly. “It’s Lili’s job to bring the phone if it makes noise…” She explained with a smile.

“Just don’t touch the buttons,” Lili intoned firmly. “I don’t want to talk to China.”

Noah laughed and took the phone from her, reading over the text. “My parents want to visit,” he looked at Hannah.

“I’m okay, Noah…please…I want them to know they can come over here anytime, but no P-O-N-Y,” she said, her smile matching his as she got up slowly and headed to the kitchen for some food, listening to Lili tell her about her morning.

Pony or not, she suddenly had a man who loved her more than she ever imagined possible. The holidays were just around the corner, she had a house to decorate and in the near future, a baby to plan for…just another of those marvelous coincidences, she thought with a sigh before going off to prowl the fridge.

Thank you for reading Hannah Taylor. I hope it brought you laughter, fun and romance. Please remember this is a story that will lead you to Guinevere Paddington and an introduction to Paddington’s Emporium, an exciting place to be any time of the year, but magical during the holidays. I hope you enjoy the journey.
