Babies for Nikki

Nikki walked silently into the twins’ nursery, stopping at the doorway to survey the adorable scene before her.
“I don’t know what I’m going to do with you two.”
Nikki’s voice held very little exasperation as she looked at her wonderful men as they stood before her. Alex held their one-year-old daughter against his massive chest as he pat her back lightly, rocking slowly from side to side as he stood next to her crib.
Crissy looked so tiny in his arms, and he held her so gently. She was gripping her Daddy’s long hair in her little fist as if claiming him. Nikki nearly cried at the sight.
Butler was walking slowly around the room, patting their son’s bottom as he lulled him to sleep with his soft growls. Bryan moved slightly within Butler’s careful embrace, rubbing his face against his Poppa’s chest and opening his arms wide as if to hold him in a tender hug. He leaned into the purring sound that Nikki knew so well and enjoyed so much.
Both men looked at Nikki with concern. She stood before them, straightening the bodice of her nightgown as she looked at both men.
“What have we done now?” Butler asked, his voice filled with humor as he waited for her explanation. “Did we do something, Alex?” He walked toward his triad partner to stand by his side.
“Well,” Alex began softly. “I think she’s finally realized that we’ve gotten her pregnant again.”
“You knew?” Nikki asked, stepping toward them both. “When did you know?”
Butler leaned down and kissed her lips gently. “We’ve known for about a week, sweetness. We didn’t want to ruin the surprise for you.”
“Are you happy, darlin’?” Alex asked her quietly, unable to keep the worry from his voice.
Nikki was quiet for so long, both men began to worry that their mate was not happy about the news. They remained silent as she reached out and gently touched the heads of their two children, tenderly stroking their soft hair as she leaned in to kiss their tiny hands as they rested against their fathers’ chests.
“I think our babies are the most beautiful babies I have ever seen,” she said finally. “They’re sweetness and goodness all rolled into one adorable bundle. They’re the most precious gifts their fathers have ever given me. I love them with every little piece of my heart. How could I not be happy that you both have given me another baby to love?”
In that moment, a vision of Nikki holding the hands of two little boys about two years old as they walked toward the playground on pack land where Alex and Butler were playing with Crissy and Bryan filled Nikki’s mind. She looked at both her mates in shock.
“Twins again,” she whispered. “Holy crap! Are all my pregnancies going to result in twins?”
“Pregnancies? Are you planning on having more pregnancies besides this one, sweetness?”
Butler walked over to her and pulled her toward his body. Alex mirrored him, surrounding Nikki with his free arm. Together, they created a combined hug with their babies between them, cuddled in the middle of their love.
Nikki looked up at both men, her eyes filled with love and adoration for her mates. “How can I not want to share that with you again?”
I love you.
All three of them laughed softly as the same thought echoed in all three of their minds at the same time.
Nikki kissed the tops of her babies’ heads before reaching up to card her fingers through her men’s beautiful long hair. She was content. Happiness and love filled her every minute of every day. Finding and loving these men had done that for her.
She had no doubt in her mind that she would have a wonderful future with these wonderful men—her mates. She knew that her men would give her the unconditional love and acceptance she had always longed for. They would support her decisions and listen to her opinions.
Nikki knew that theirs was going to be a wonderful future filled with happiness, love, and babies.
