“Who has sis? What you talking about, Legion?” He shook my shoulder, and I looked up at him.
“My dad—he has her, and he’s going to kill her.”
My uncle walked over and peered down at me.
“What you mean he’s going to kill A’Moya? Why the fuck would he do something like that?”
“Because that’s what he does, Unc. He’s done it before! He calls them distractions and takes them out of my life, just like he did with—”
I stopped, and they just stood there looking at me.
Guns and Surge walked over too, and they all just stood there looking down at me. The confusion was apparent on their faces, and God knows I didn’t want to tell them my horrible truth, but if it meant getting my girl back, I knew it had to be done.
“He made me kill my mom.”
A’Moya Morse
“Owww.”
I slowly opened my eyes, and the biggest headache hit me. It took me a few minutes to focus, and when I did, I saw that I was tied up in a basement or warehouse somewhere. Fear took over, and I started to wonder why Pharaoh’s dad had taken me. I knew what he had done to Pharaoh when he was a child, but I didn’t understand why he had taken me.
After blinking a few more times, trying to overcome whatever they used to knock me out, I looked around to see if I could make out where I was or find something to get me free.
I jumped and gasped when I saw Pharaoh’s dad sitting in a corner just staring at me.
He slowly stood to his feet and walked over to me. He then bent down until he was level with my face and smiled.
“Why am I here? What do you want?” I asked, and he smiled wider at me.
“I know you can read my lips because my daughter told me,” he said, and I nodded. “You have become a little problem for me.”
I frowned at him.
“Why? Because I showed Pharaoh that he’s more than what you think you made him? More than what you made him do!”
Slap!
My head jerked to the side when he slapped me across the face. He then grabbed my face and turned it back toward him.
“Do not speak on something you do not know. I just helped him do something that he wanted to do anyway.”
“How can you say that? He was twelve years old! He didn’t want to kill his mother. You made him do it. You damaged him, you’re the monster, not him!”
I flinched when he raised his hand again like he was going to hit me, but he stopped.
Someone else walked into the room, and when I looked up, I was surprised to see that it was Gena. Before the night she had that altercation with Pharaoh, I had never seen her before, but Pharaoh told me who she was.
The smile on her face let me know that she wasn’t there to help me.
Pharaoh’s dad looked back at her, smirked, and then walked out of the room, leaving me alone with her.
She walked around my chair with a smile on her face as a hand ran along my shoulder, making me shudder. She then walked over to the corner that Pharaoh’s dad was sitting in and pulled the chair along the floor until she stopped in front of me. With her eyes on mine, she took a seat. Her eyes roamed my body and landed on my stomach, making her turn her lip up in disgust.
“So, this is what he wanted over me?” she asked, and I chuckled.
“I guess so.”
Her face twisted in disgust. “If I wanted Legion, I could have him.”
Again, I chuckled. “Like you could those two days he was at your apartment?”
“He was mine first, bitch.”
“Yours? Gena, what’s his favorite color? His favorite food? Is he allergic to anything?” I questioned, and her mouth opened, but she didn’t say anything.
“He was never yours—you don’t know anything about him. And you are doing all of this for nothing.”
I could see the anger radiating off her face as her jaw clenched tightly.
“Just know this, bitch, he won’t be yours either at the end of this. If I can’t have him, you can’t. And that damn baby definitely won’t have him.”
“You are not going to hurt my baby, Gena.”
I didn’t know how I was going to do it, but I would find a way to get out of this chair if she tried to hurt my baby.
She smiled at me widely making my heart beat out of my chest.
“I’m not going to hurt your baby—you are.”
“Over my dead body!” I snapped at her as she just sat there looking at me.
Pharaoh’s dad walked back into the room with a bottle in his hand. He stepped in front of me and looked down into my eyes.
“What’s that?” I asked him, and he lifted the bottle in the air.
“A little potion. Now, here’s the deal. If you drink this, I will let you walk out of here, but if you don’t…”
He stopped to pull a gun from his back and pointed it at me.
“Kill that bastard baby, or I’m going to kill you.”
Alvaro ‘Wrath’ Ramsey
“Nigga, what the fuck did you just say?” I asked Legion.
He dropped his head and started to cry, leaving me speechless. This whole time, I believed that my auntie Evelyn died in an accident. That’s what we were told when we were younger, but now hearing that Legion killed her had me stuck.
“Bro, why? I don’t understand,” I said, and he looked up at me.
“When I was twelve years old, he took me to the woods on Christmas Day. He said we were going to train, but when I got there, he had my momma tied to a chair. He gave me a gun and told me to kill her, or he was going to kill me,” Legion said through his tears as we all stood around staring at him.
“I didn’t want to do it, and I even thought about using the gun to kill him instead, but my mother begged me to do it. She told me it was okay and to do it. I pissed myself from how scared I was, but he didn’t care. He held the gun to my head and started to count down. I was so scared, but I was afraid to die, so I pulled the trigger and killed her. I killed my mom, and now he’s going to kill A’Moya while she’s carrying my seed.” He broke down.
My heart went out to my cousin because he was just a fucking kid at the time. How the hell did he live carrying such a heavy burden around? And then it hit me.
“Is that why you don’t fuck with him? And why you came to live here with us?” I asked, and he nodded.
I was so struck by what he had revealed that I didn’t even know what to say or do. My dad walked over to him and got down on the floor too.
“Why didn’t you tell me, Pharaoh? I would have protected you from that nigga.”
Legion looked at my dad and sighed. “I was ashamed to admit what I had done. I didn’t want y’all to know that I was a monster. I didn’t want y’all to walk away from me because y’all were all I had in this world.”
I rubbed a hand down my face and breathed out slowly. This was something that I never expected.
“We got to find my girl, man. We got to find her!” He panicked, and my dad hugged him.
“We will, son. We will find her.”
“Is there somewhere you know that he might go?” Surge asked, and Legion shook his head.
“I already went where I thought he would be, but they weren’t there. I don’t know what to do, man.”
“We gon’ find her bro. On everything I love, we gon’ find her,” I promised, hoping that would comfort him, and he nodded.
“Let’s hit the streets,” I said, and my brothers and pops followed me out of the den.
Taking my phone from my back pocket, I went to call Glasses on my way out. I was going to get my niggas to hit the streets until we found that nigga.
Fuck him being my uncle—he fucked with my brother, so he fucked with me too!
I snatched the front door open, and before I could even make my first step…
Pop! Pop! Pop!
Bullets started flying toward us.
The five of us immediately pulled our guns and started shooting back at motherfuckers. I ran and ducked behind my car
s to use them as a shield.
My front door swung open again, and Ma stepped out with an assault rifle.
“Mom! Get back!” my dad yelled, but her stubborn ass wasn’t listening to shit.
“You niggas can’t fuck with me! I’m a woman of God!!” she yelled as her gun barked. Ma was laying their asses out, I couldn’t even deny it.
I saw a nigga try to run, and I shot his ass in the head. When I looked around again, I saw four figures backing up as they shot at us.
What the fuck? I thought when I caught sight of someone trying to slip away while three stood there shooting at us.
Raising my guns, I shot at three of them along with my brothers, and when their bodies dropped, I shot the person running away in the legs.
“Argggghhhhh!” the person screamed on the way down, and I ran over to them.
“Bitch, how the fuck did you find out where I lived?” I asked as I snatched her up from the ground.
Thank God my daughter wasn’t there and Kanada decided to spend the night at Dior’s apartment with TJ. Because if one of them had gotten hurt, I would have painted the town red with blood.
“Fuck you, nigga! You thought you could kill my baby daddy, and I wouldn’t come for your ass?” Trinity spat, and I slapped the fuck outta her.
“Bitch, you came to my house where my grandmother, woman, and daughter lived? You just made your kids orphans over a motherfucker who was fucking everything with a pussy.”
Her eyes widened at my confession.
“How the fuck did they know where to find you? And how did they get past the guards?” my pops asked as he walked over.
I wondered the same shit until it hit me.
“Faye.”
“Oh, hell nah. I’m about to call my people,” Ma said as she stormed back into the house.
Nobody but my fucking family knew where I lived, and unfortunately, that meant her too at one point.
I checked Trinity for a cell, and when I found it, I tossed it to Surge.
“Check her phone,” I instructed, and he did just that.
“She’s fucking with Faye alright,” Surge said after a few minutes of inspecting her phone. I turned to look at him when he said, “Percy too.”
Upon hearing that she was working with his dad, Legion rushed over and grabbed the bitch from my hands.
“Where the fuck is he?!” he roared at her, and she smirked at him.
“Fuck you, your deaf bitch, and your baby,” she said.
That was all Legion needed to hear before he dropped her to the ground and shot her right between the eyes.
“Nah, fuck you, bitch.”
“Surge, call Glasses and tell him to trace those numbers,” I told my brother, and he quickly did as I asked.
“I’m gonna call a cleanup crew,” my dad called out.
I headed back to my house to get more bullets for my guns.
“Alvaro!!” Guns yelled my name, and I turned to look at him.
Pop! I heard, and then I saw my little brother drop to the ground after jumping in front of me. After his body hit the ground, I saw a figure move behind a car, and we all shot at the person until they yelled out and fell.
Surge and Legion rushed over to the person while I ran to Guns. The bullet hit him in the arm, and he lay on the ground looking at me.
“I’m okay, it’s just a flesh wound,” he said and sighed. “I’m sorry. I’m sorry, I caused this,” he said in a shaky voice.
“It’s okay, bro, I’m gonna get the ones who caused this,” I reassured him as I picked him up to his feet.
I checked his arm to confirm that it was only a flesh wound.
Ma ran out of the house and rushed over to Guns.
“They done shot my grandson! I’m gonna have to pray and fast once I’m finished,” she muttered as she pulled Guns toward my house to dress his arm.
Guns and I locked eyes as he passed me, and I nodded at him.
Legion dragged the person who shot Guns over to me, and I damn near choked on air when I saw that it was Renee.
He let her go, and she dropped at my feet while holding her side where she got hit. She looked up at me, breathing heavily with malice evident in her eyes.
“All of this over some dick that never belonged to you, dumb bitch?”
I didn’t even bother to ask her any questions because there was no fucking reason for her to be at my crib. I had never taken her to my crib in those few months that I was fucking her.
When I found out that she was the realtor Kanada was working with, I called her and shut that shit down.
The bitch started running off at the mouth, asking me who the fuck Kanada was to me and why I seemed so worried about where she lived, and if her son was mine. I told the bitch to mind her business and not to worry about my dick.
I guess she didn’t like that answer!
Raising my gun, I shot her twice in the head.
“Surge, call Glasses back and tell him I want a location now!”
It was time to end this shit!
Faye Ramsey
After calling Trinity’s phone over a hundred times and not getting her or Renee, that all telling gut feeling hit me in the stomach again. The same feeling that hit me the night Bully was killed and my plans failed.
Here I was clinging to my last hope, and it seemed like it had failed too.
“Why can’t I just destroy these men?!” I complained to myself with tears rolling down my cheeks.
Meeting Jackson Larry Ramsey was the best and worst day of my life. Since then, it was like the nigga had become a plague in my life. I hated and loved him to the point that I didn’t want him alive if he didn’t love me. After all that I did to get him, he should have loved me, but he didn’t, and for that, he couldn’t live. If it wasn’t me, then it would be nobody!
If Jackson Ramsey didn’t love me, then he couldn’t love anyone else. His bastard sons needed to die too because they were the product of Jackson’s love, and I wanted everything surrounding Amanda to be dead.
Dropping my phone, I paced my floor, wondering what to do next. I was alone in this house out in Delaware because Percy took that deaf girl to the warehouse with that crazy bitch Gena.
When I was at the warehouse yesterday, all the bitch did was sit there and watch that girl. It was a damn shame that she was that gone over Legion. She didn’t eat or sleep; she just sat there watching that girl. I knew she couldn’t wait for the go-ahead to kill that girl. I was sure it would feel better than a nut!
I picked back up my phone and called Percy.
“Yeah,” he answered.
“Have you killed that girl yet?”
“No, but I will,” he said, and I huffed.
“Percy, why is that girl still alive? We need to figure out what we are going to do about Jackson and then leave. We don’t have time for this. I thought you were going to kill her,” I fussed.
“I have my plan, so don’t worry about that.”
I frowned. “You told me that you were going to help me get your brother and his sons, but all you seem to be interested in is your damn son! How is getting him going to help me?!”
“IT’S GOING TO HELP ME!” he roared in my ear.
“Plus, I helped you by sending men with Trinity and Renee. I did my part.”
“Well, we need a new plan because something is wrong, I can feel it. Trinity and Renee are not answering their phones,” I told him, and he went silent.
“You’ve been calling them?” he said in a panic.
I rolled my eyes because what I said was pretty self-explanatory.
“Yes, because I needed to know. But did you not hear what I said? We need to go. I think they may have found them.”
“Are you stupid? Didn’t I tell you to stop fucking calling them? They can track your phone!” he yelled, and my mouth dropped.
After the girls left before Percy did, he told me not to contact them anymore. I wasn’t going to, but I needed to know when those motherfuckers took their
last breaths. I just couldn’t wait until they came back to tell me; I needed to know the second it happened. It was something I had been dreaming, wanting, and praying for, and I had lost all patience.
“They’re probably already on the way to you!” he yelled, and I started to look around.
“We wouldn’t even be here if it wasn’t for you! You wanted to stay around to mess with your son! All you had to do was kill his girlfriend, and we could have left!”
Originally, the plan was to send in the girls to do our dirty work and get as far away from New York as possible, but Percy said he wanted to get his son’s girlfriend before leaving. I assumed that he was going to kill her and then we would leave. But it had been hours since he snatched her, and we were still here.
“Faye, get the fuck out now. And don’t call back this fucking number! Damn!”
I rolled my eyes. “I doubt they figured it all out already. I was fucking Guns right under Jackson’s nose, and he never knew,” I mumbled to myself as I walked toward the door.
“Whatever. Meet me at the warehouse now!” he said and hung up the phone.
I rolled my eyes again and sucked my teeth.
The nigga was paranoid
Before I could even open the door, it flew open, and in rushed the same motherfuckers I wanted dead more than anything in the world.
Why can’t they just die?!
Jackson’s eyes landed on mine, and he raised his gun at me. My hands flew up in the air. My heart was beating out of my chest as the four Ramsey men surrounded me.
“Jackson,” I called out to him, and he backhanded me, sending me falling on my ass.
With my mouth dropped, I grabbed my aching face and stared up at him with wide eyes. In all the years I had been with Jackson, he had never hit me. I then looked at Guns, who was standing beside his dad glaring down at me in disgust. Before I could say anything, Jackson reached down and dragged me by the hair.
“Let me go!”
I screamed and kicked as he dragged me along the floor and out the door with Guns following us.
When we got outside, Jackson let my hair go and pushed down onto the muddy path. The house was abandoned, so outside was a mess. I looked around knowing I was on my own and cursed that we decided to go to a house without nobody else around but some damn trees. It was the perfect hiding place, but it was also the perfect place for them to kill me without anyone hearing or seeing.
