Enticed by a Thug Love 3 Page 11

He then stood in front of me with his gun drawn.

“Tell me why you did all of this?! Why you fucked my youngest son?!” he growled.

I looked at Guns before looking at him again. “I gave you everything, Jackson, and you couldn’t even give me your heart! What country am I from?” I asked, and he looked at me confused.

“Jamaica,” he said, and I laughed.

  “Monserrat!”

After all these years of marriage, Jackson still didn’t know what country I was from because he didn’t care to know. He got with me because I was his second choice and he wanted a mother for his sons—not because he loved me. It took me a while before I realized that.

I sat and waited years for a love that never came. So, in hindsight, he caused all of this.

“You used and abused me—only marrying me to be a mother to your kids.”

“And you were the biggest fucking mistake of my life, Faye. I should have left you in the gutter where I found you,” he said, and tears fell from my eyes.

“I loved you! And you shitted on me for another bitch!”

  His face contorted.

“Your precious Amanda who didn’t end up being so precious after all.” I chuckled. “I did everything in my power to have you. I got rid of her, but you still wanted her! You made me do this!”

Tears flooded my face that I didn’t even try to wipe away.

“The only thing I’m happy about is that she died getting high on that drug I put in her.” I smiled through my tears knowing that Jackson’s love was dead because of me. If nothing else gave me satisfaction, that did. “You didn’t know it was me. Surprise,” I said and laughed at Jackson’s face.

Guns laughed, and I looked over at him.

“For the first time, I finally see how sad, miserable, and pathetic you are,” he said, making me gasp.

“Says the nigga who chose my pussy over his family.” I smirked, but it fell when he continued to laugh.

“I was just a means to an end, Faye. By fucking you, I got you away from my pops and allowed his real love to come back,” he said, and I frowned in confusion.

Hearing a car door open and close, I looked behind me and almost shitted on myself when I saw Amanda walking toward us.

Granted it had been years since I saw her face, but I knew without a doubt that it was her because I could see Guns’ face in hers.

“Wha-what? How?” I asked, and she smiled down at me.

“You see, your plan never worked. My mother didn’t die, and now my pops is free to be with the woman he really loves. You and I were supposed to happen, so that this,” Guns pointed between his parents, “could happen,” he finished his sentence with a smile.

All I could do was sit there with wide eyes and a heavy heart. After all that I did to get Jackson, she ended up with him.

I should have walked away all those years ago, I thought, now knowing that it was all for nothing.

Jackson stood in my face whispering to Amanda while he lovingly placed an arm around her waist. Even in a gesture as small as that, I could see that he still loved her. Seeing them together caused me to drop my head and weep.

“Thank you for stepping in, but your services will no longer be needed,” she said before looking at Jackson and taking the gun from his hand.

“Guns, please. I’m sorry. I’m sorry.” I pleaded with him, hoping he wouldn’t allow his mother to kill me.

“Thanks for the pussy, Faye.” He winked, and my mouth fell. “It was the only thing you were good for.”

Amanda raised the gun to my head.

“FUCK ALL OF YOU! I HOPE YOU ALL ROT IN HELL!” I yelled as loud as I could, and she smirked.

  “Not before you, bitch!”

  And then…

  Pop!

  Pharaoh ‘Legion’ Ramsey

Glasses managed to get two locations quickly, and while my brothers went after Faye, I decided to confront my pops alone because this was something that I had to do.

I wasn’t expecting the response they gave me when I revealed that I had killed my mother. I expected them to shun me and turn their backs on me, but instead, they turned to me and embraced me. It had me feeling like I should have told them the truth a long time ago because it felt like a huge burden had finally been lifted off my shoulders.

They helped me carry that burden and let me know that I wasn’t alone. Surge wanted to come with me, but I told them that I needed to do this alone. It was time that I faced my dad and ended this!

When I got to the warehouse and saw his car, I pulled my gun and slowly made my way inside.

“Welcome to the party,” he called out, and I gritted, seeing that he had A’Moya tied to the chair just like he had my mother all those years ago.

“Nigga, let her go!” I yelled at my dad who was holding a gun to A’Moya’s head.

Her eyes were on mine, and I could see the fear dancing in them. I felt powerless as I stood there watching her cry.

My eyes temporarily went to Gena, and I angrily bit my bottom lip. Had I known that she was here too, I would have taken Surge up on his offer.

At least now I know what her threat meant!

Her eyes watered, and her lip trembled, but I ignored her and looked back at my dad.

“Why are you doing this?” I asked him as he stared at me.

“Because, little nigga, you don’t deserve love. Not after you took everything away from me,” he said.

“What the fuck are you talking about?”

“Your mother! I told her to get rid of you! I didn’t want any fucking kids, but she still kept you. And then Jackson retired me, saying I needed to leave the streets alone and be there for you. Just like that, I went from a king to a father because of you.”

Tears welled up in my eyes at his confession.

“So, I dedicated my life to make yours as miserable as you made mine! And I started with that hoe ass mother of yours. All I wanted from her was some got damn pussy, not a fucking kid.”

“Don’t talk about my mother! We were good without you! We didn’t need you! We were happy until you came into my life!”

This nigga was acting like we begged him to come. Until I was ten years old and he took me away from my mother, we were happy on our own. We had a good life, and I didn’t miss him at all.

I never asked for him or to even see him—my life was content—and then he inserted himself when he wasn’t even needed. If nothing else, I wished my mother had stood her ground and didn’t let this nigga in, but by the time she realized what his real intentions with me were, it was too late. And before she could do anything about it, he had me kill her.

“What would you be without me? I made you!” he yelled, and my eyes landed on A’Moya.

“No, she made me. Without you, I’m a man, a friend, a lover, and about to be a father. I’m more than you will ever be.”

His face contorted in anger, and he gripped her hair tightly, making her squeal.

“Pharaoh,” A’Moya called out to me as tears fell from her eyes.

“LET HER GO!” I yelled at him, and he just smiled at me.

Tears fell from my eyes when I saw him rub his gun along the side of her face.

Gena raised a gun at my head with shaking hands. “How could you, Legion? I loved you, and you chose her over me! I should be the one to have your baby, not her! And you’re going to stand in my face and cry for her!” Gena yelled with tears rushing down her face.

“YOU DON’T EVEN KNOW ME!” I roared at her, and her mouth closed.

“I could have, but you wouldn’t let me. But it’s okay because I would rather see you die than walk off into the sunset with this bitch.”

“Not yet,” my dad said and touched her hand. “We are going to play a little game. You remember this game, don’t you, Pharaoh?” he taunted me, and I knew he was talking about the day he made me pick between my life and my mother’s.

“Let her go and take me,” I offered.

  He stared
at me as he thought about it and then he smirked.

“That’s not how the game goes, Pharaoh. I thought you remembered.” He smiled.

“Kill her or I will kill you, that was the rules, remember?”

I locked eyes with A’Moya and smiled at her. She was the love of my life, the very air that I breathed, and to live without her wouldn’t be living, so there was no question on what I was going to choose.

  “Kill me,” I said.

  “No! Pharaoh, no!” A’Moya cried.

“It’s okay, A’Moya. I love you, baby,” I said to her.

“Or how about I kill her?” Gena yelled then moved around the chair and pointed her gun at A’Moya.

I raised my gun to her head. “I swear I will put a bullet in your head, bitch!” I gritted, and my eyes went to my dad when he raised his gun at me.

“I have a better idea. Let’s play who you gonna shoot first.” He chuckled. “If you shoot me, Gena will shoot your bitch. And if you shoot Gena, I’m going to kill you. So, you die, or she does.”

My eyes darted between Gena and my pops. I wished that I could kill both of them at the same time, but I couldn’t.

“I know. You’re not fast enough. You damn sure not faster than me. I taught you everything I know, little nigga,” he taunted with a laugh, and Gena smirked. “You better make a choice before I do.”

My eyes landed on A’Moya’s, and I smiled at her.

“I guess I get to shoot this bitch because he’s not going to shoot—”

  Pop!

I didn’t even let Gena finish her fucking sentence before I split her skull open with a bullet.

  Pop!

“NOOOOOOO!” A’Moya screamed when a bullet hit my chest, and I fell on the floor.

“Weak! You are weak, Pharaoh, and I didn’t make no weak motherfucker! If it wasn’t for the DNA test I took on you, I wouldn’t believe you were my son with your weak ass!”

I grabbed my chest and rolled on my side so that I could see them.

A’Moya was crying so hard, no sound was coming from her mouth. I wanted to go to her, but I couldn’t move.

My breathing got heavy as my body started to go into shock.

“Pharaoh!” Moya called out to me, and I looked at her.

“I love you,” I whispered, not even sure if she could see my lips from the way I was lying on the floor.

My dad pointed his gun at me again with a huge smile on his face, and then he slowly dropped it.

“I think I will kill her first and let you watch before you take your last breath. All of this could have been avoided had you just did what I wanted. You brought this on yourself, Pharaoh. I told you love was a disease, and you chose that over life. Now y’all can be together in hell,” he said.

“Not if I send you there first!” I heard and looked to see my Uncle standing behind my dad with a gun to his head. “Drop it!” he snapped, and my dad did as he asked.

“Brother, how nice of you to join us.” My dad chuckled.

“You really thought I was going to allow my nephew to face you alone after what you did to him?”

“What I did?” my dad said and then looked at me. “Pharaoh, you want someone to blame for all of this, blame your uncle. Had he not forced me out of the family empire, we wouldn’t be going through all this.”

“Motherfucker, I was trying to make you a man by standing up for your responsibilities!”

“THAT I DIDN’T FUCKING WANT! You told that bitch to keep him. You’re my fucking brother and should have had my back!”

“Nigga, I told you not to fuck with Evelyn if you weren’t going to do right by her! You chose to still go there. You weren’t about to fuck her, get her pregnant, and leave. Ramseys stand up to their responsibilities!”

My dad chuckled and shook his head. “If I didn’t know for sure that Pharaoh was my son, I would have sworn you were fucking his momma from how hard you went for her.”

“She was a fucking sister to me because she was close to Amanda. Nothing more or less. I know loyalty, motherfucker. And you may have made him, but he’s not your fucking son, and he doesn’t need you when he has me. Fuck you, Percy.”

My dad laughed. “Nigga, I’m your brother. You’re not going to kill me just like that pussy ass nigga couldn’t kill me,” he said, and I gritted.

This time, my Uncle laughed. “Nigga, you should have died a long ass time ago. I only kept you alive because of Pharaoh, but he doesn’t need you. I got him. Oh, and I told you not to fuck with my boy, didn’t I?”

  “Jackson, no!”

  Pop! Pop! Pop!

My uncle let three shots off into my father’s skull, dropping his body. And as my eyes looked into my dad’s dead ones, I felt nothing.

“Pharaoh!” A’Moya screamed out my name and ran over to me after my Uncle loosened her.

She dropped to her knees and grabbed my face before kissing all over it.

“I love you! I love you!” she cried.

I lifted my hand and stroked her face.

  “I love you too, baby.”

“Son, you good? I’m gonna take you to doctor Chang,” Unc said and helped me up to my feet.

  “Arggghhh fuck!”

My chest was on fucking fire. He put my arm over his shoulder, and they rushed me out of the warehouse.

They laid me in the back seat, placing my head on A’Moya’s lap, and my Uncle jumped in before speeding away.

“Hold on, Pharaoh,” my uncle consoled me.

While lying in A’Moya’s lap, I looked up into her eyes. She was crying, and I thumbed her tears away.

“I wasn’t going to let that bitch hurt you, Moya. I would rather die,” I said, and she nodded.

“I’m glad that I came into your life, Pharaoh, because you needed to stop messing with crazy hoes.”

My Uncle roared with laughter from the front, and even I had to chuckle at that one because I didn’t realize how crazy Gena really was.

“You right about that, baby.” I winked at her.

She kissed my lips a few times, and I closed my eyes, finally feeling at peace.

  Alvaro ‘Wrath’ Ramsey

  A few months later

“You got this, brother! Do you hear me? You’re fearless and strong as fuck. You got this, nigga!” Legion said as he rubbed my shoulders.

I took in a deep breath and blew it out slowly.

A nigga was nervous as fuck! My legs were shaking, and my palms were sweating. I had never felt like that before. Not even when KeKe was born was I this nervous. This shit had me feeling like I wanted to pass out, vomit, and shit myself all at the same fucking time.

The more I thought about it, the more I started having second thoughts.

I can’t do this shit. I’m gonna pass the fuck out!

“Bro, you got this,” Guns said, and Surge nodded to agree.

“Come on, give me ten,” Surge said and put his hands up.

I raised my fists and punched into his palms while Guns’ hummed the “Eye of the Tiger” theme.

“Now, go in there and show them who the fuck you are! You are Wrath, son!” Legion said, and I looked at him.

  “You’re right. I got this.”

Taking in another deep breath and blowing it out, I cracked the muscles in my neck and walked in.

“Hello, sir, can I help you?”

“Yeah, I want to buy a ring.”

I know y’all must be thinking, what the fuck! All that over buying a ring, but y’all don’t understand. Getting married was something that I never saw myself doing.

I was so against that shit that you couldn’t say my name and marriage in the same fucking sentence. I was about pussy, and I loved women—never one woman. But as I stood there looking around at all the rings, I knew that it was something I wanted so much and only with one person—Kanada. Her not having my last name wasn’t an option anymore.

I wanted all of her, and I wanted her to carry my last name.

  Since we had gotten back
together, everything was fucking good—in fact better than great! We picked up right where we left off. I thought that I was happy before, but nothing compared to how I felt now.

Kanada was my other half—she really was. She fit me in such a way that I knew I would never be whole again without her in my life.

Things between us were great. Even KeKe was happy about us getting back together because she wanted us as one. As one family. She loved her mother, but she had her own unique bond with Kanada who could do no wrong in her eyes.

A few weeks after Faye and Percy were taken care of, I sold my house and bought an even bigger one not far from where Legion lived. In fact, we all bought houses out in Southampton. After seeing his house, and that lake, we were sold! Plus, I just didn’t feel right trying to build a future with Kanada in the same house that I used to have Brittany in.

In the beginning, that shit didn’t even bother me, but when I thought about all that I wanted with Kanada—marriage and kids—I wanted somewhere that was our own and had no remnants of my past involved.

Ma got herself a little house not far from where we lived. I tried to make her move in with us again, but she said it was a new chapter in my life, and she wanted me to face it on my own. Not sure why she even bothered because her ass stayed coming over to spend time with the kids. But, it was all good because that gave me time to spend with my girl.

Just like Trojan said, he retired and handed New Jersey over to me, but I let Guns overlook that. Little bro made a mistake, and even though at the time I wanted to kill his ass, I believed that he learned his lesson and had received enough punishment for it. No matter how I looked at it, he was a kid who was misled, and I couldn’t blame him for that. I blamed Faye, and she got what she deserved.

Shit was good on that end, and little bro was a damn beast! Niggas tried to fuck with him because he was young, but Guns shut that shit down. A nigga was proud, and he definitely didn’t just look like me!
