“Maybe warlocks have their own kind of bond.”
He dragged his lips against my neck, “Long live the bond that brings me to you.”
“Even if it’s forever?”
His arm went around my waist, drawing me forward, “That’s the best kind of bond to have. I truly, undoubtedly, plan to make good on being yours for the long haul.”
“My love for you is pretty intense and could be a lot to handle. May be a storm some days”, I warned.
“You won’t ever hear me complain about that”, he winked.
“So this is how we go forward?”, I asked him, those little fears waiting in the living room turning to mist and dissolving away.
“We should start by inventing that explosive bonding sex ritual. Really set the standard for all warlock and hybrid bonds in the future of Iverli. We’d make history”, he opened the bedroom door and tantalized with words like melted chocolate running over my skin.
“That sounds like a good plan”, I nodded, “let’s keep going forward.”
How elated I felt to be loved by him. How surreal it all seemed as he massaged his thumb along my shoulder toward the zipper on my dress. I couldn’t wait to tell Dimples that, here in Crestwood, miracles of the highest degree could happen. That a home could be a roof above you and a temple in your heart. That a warlock who hated the idea of dating a lover he had slept with made the decision to open himself up to destiny because he had found someone worth keeping. That he didn’t blink when I offered him a forever. There was a lot ahead of us but, with family made of my own choosing, I was ready to take it on. The new Abbie was here to stay. What was I most afraid of? With Elizar Andros by my side...absolutely nothing.

Another book has been finished in the series and I can’t believe how quickly a year goes by! I’ve experienced so many new things in the world of being an author that has given me a true appreciation for the art of writing. Tammy and Misty have been cheerleaders every time that I announce a new book. They’ve promoted my work out of love for my series and drive over an hour just to get a copy of their book signed. How am I blessed to have such brilliant fans? It’s hard to understand but gives me such fulfillment to experience.
Abbie has found herself in a strange world with a ton of twists and turns. She has finally become a fan of Meredith Marble (something that Dimples has been hoping for) and may just find herself diving into more of those adventures. The good news is, my Patreon will have monthly installments of the Meredith Marble series to experience! I want to continue to create worlds that fans of my work will want to escape into. This has been a rough year for a lot of people and, through it all, you’ve kept me inspired to write. Never lose that spark to keep moving forward.
