ABOUT THE AUTHOR
France Daigle is the author of eleven novels, including Real Life, 1953, A Fine Passage, Life’s Little Difficulties, and Just Fine. In 2012, she won the Prix Antonine-Maillet-Acadie Vie and the Governor General’s Literary Award for French Fiction. A former news writer for Radio-Canada Acadie, she is currently a columnist for the daily L’Acadie nouvelle. She lives in Moncton, New Brunswick.
ABOUT THE TRANSLATOR
Robert Majzels is the author of three novels, a full-length play, a collection of poems, and a number of translations. He won the Governor General’s Literary Award for his translation of France Daigle’s novel Just Fine. He lives in Calgary, Alberta, where he teaches at the University of Calgary.
