Magical Redemption

Gavin squeezed her hand and lifted it to his lips. “One glimpse of a Cenobite and we’ll be running for the exit. Don’t you worry.” He pressed a kiss to the back of it, and she felt the familiar tingle of warmth slide down her arm, easing her anxiety. It amazed her how something which had controlled so much of her life didn’t seem to bother her as much now. It wasn’t just Maddoc and Gavin entering her life, but the entire experience of the past few days left her feeling stronger and more sure of herself.
When Maddoc pounded on the metal entrance, it sounded like it echoed through a large empty building. A second later a small rectangular peephole slid open in the middle of the door, but from her angle Dani couldn’t see what looked through. No one said anything, but a second later the small window slid shut and the door opened soundlessly. Gavin went first, keeping a hold of her hand as Maddoc moved in behind her.
“Have I told you how gorgeous you look tonight?” Maddoc rested his hand on the small of her back as they ushered her through the entrance.
“You don’t need to compliment me in an attempt to calm my nerves.” Although she did appreciate the attempt, even if she already knew she looked good. Katie had referred to her as smoking hot, promising that the guys’ tongues would be hanging out a foot when they saw her.
They hadn’t said a word when she came out of the bedroom in her blue heels and the dress that Katie had lent her. Her breasts were a little bigger than Katie’s, so they strained the neckline of the halter top dress. The dress stopped a few inches above her knees, and the fabric felt incredible against her skin as she moved, like a soft caress. Both of them had stared at her with identical expressions she was learning meant they were contemplating stripping her down and fucking her silly.
“Dannika, if I wanted to calm your nerves, I’d pin you against the nearest wall and we’d make certain you were properly distracted.” Maddoc winked at her, and she didn’t doubt that he’d follow through with his statement. His hand slid from the small of her back over her ass and then circled around her hip.
“You are going to be the death of me.” Maddoc’s eyes darkened, and Dani felt her pussy get wet in response. He’d discovered her other surprise of the evening. She’d been thinking about Lisette again earlier as she got dressed and felt for a moment as if her old friend had been whispering in her ear. If she was here, she’d be so proud of me right now.
Gavin must have read something in Maddoc’s gaze when he looked back because he turned and stepped closer to Dani, trapping her between them. “Did our woman go commando tonight in that short skirt?”
“It’s not that short,” Dani answered automatically, making both men groan. She could almost feel their thoughts and knew that they were about to take her right back out of the building. Not that she minded what they would do to her once they had her somewhere with a bit of privacy.
“We’re not going anywhere private, Dani.” Gavin grinned down at her before stepping backward, tugging her arm lightly.
“You’re going to find out exactly what we like to do in public.” Maddoc stood close behind her, and she felt him trail his fingers up the back of her leg and under her skirt.
Gavin was far enough away that everyone could see her from the front, but Maddoc’s body blocked anyone’s view from the back and his finger didn’t stop until he reached the top of her legs. She felt him swirl his finger around in the juices that had begun to gather at her entrance. She tried to take a deep breath, but it froze in her chest when he pressed his finger inside of her, pumping in and out a couple times before retreating.
“Come on, naughty girl. Let’s go see your friends, and then we’ll have some more fun.” She turned in time to catch Maddoc licking his finger clean.
“That’s got the color back in her cheeks. I’m never going to tire of seeing you blush when we tease you.”
“I’m sure I’ll get used to it sooner or later.” Dani didn’t entirely understand the theory behind why she wouldn’t age any longer. Gavin and Maddoc had tried to explain it to her. It had something to do with energy links, and ley lines, and a lot of other technical lingo, but she had lots of time to explore the facts. For now she was content to get to know her men and extended family.
“Then we’ll have to keep you on your toes and strive to never be predictable.” Maddoc patted her bum again this time with a little more force than needed. Her pussy throbbed from his teasing and for some reason the firm taps on her ass made it worse. I hope I never get used to it either.
Gavin led the three of them through the bar, but Dani was too fascinated by the other patrons to pay attention to the direction they were going. While most of the customers looked human, there were quite a few that were obviously not. Walking into the solid wall of Gavin’s and Maddoc’s backs snapped her attention back to her immediate surroundings.
She peeked around Gavin and spotted Erin sitting at a large table, two men surrounding either side of her. She tugged her hand from Gavin’s grip and darted around them, ignoring the way they shouted her name in alarm. Dani knew Erin would still be upset, considering what happened the last time they saw each other, especially the way she’d worded her text message, as if she expected to be rejected.
“I’m so glad to see you’re okay.” She threw her arms around Erin and hugged her tightly. Erin stiffened slightly at the contact and then seemed to relax. “You know you’re stuck with me as a friend forever now? The grant that funded my research in Florida ran out and the university couldn’t afford to keep me on. I don’t have to go back to Florida. Maddoc and Gavin are arranging for my mom to move down here, too, so we’re nearby when she needs us.”
Her friends started arriving almost at the same time, and Dani was overjoyed to see them all healthy and happy. The conversations flowed quickly around her, but with Gavin and Maddoc’s hands on her back, she was able to stay centered and not get overwhelmed. She adjusted her position in her seat and carefully crossed her legs under the table. Her nerves were still sparking from Maddoc’s teasing fingers as they had arrived, and she couldn’t wait to see what they had in store for her next.
What had started out as a celebration of Lisette’s life a few days ago was now a celebration of all their futures, and Dani couldn’t wait to see what magic was in the stars for them next.
