He tossed the rest of his rum and coke down his throat. Gritting his teeth from the burn of the rum, he handed the empty glass to Carrie and took off after Addie and Kern as Jeff and Carrie high fived. The closer he got to the bar though, he didn’t see Addie…or Kern for that matter.
What. The. Actual. Fuck.
Turning around slowly, Conrad took in the filling reception area and still didn’t see Addie. He did however see April Magnassum who was a friend of Carrie’s and incidentally, had been after him for years. Shit! He stood behind a group of older women who pulled him into their circle thanking him for wearing his uniform and telling him how handsome they thought he was and to thank him for serving his country. With smiles all around, Conrad excused himself and walked along the far wall that the doors were on to escape the room all while scanning for Addie. Free of the ballroom, he looked around the lobby and froze.
Chapter Twenty-Six
Seeing Addie sitting on the edge of a chair in a cozy little corner in the vast lobby with Kern made Conrad stop in his tracks. She held a glass of wine in one hand as she was talking animatedly with the other. She looked relaxed and comfortable. Kern was holding a short rocks glass that was filled with a gold liquid. He had a bright smile on his face as he listened to Addie and would interject occasionally that would send the both of them into laughter. Conrad felt his caveman gene surface. If handled wrong, this could explode into a bad scene of biblical proportions. He didn’t want that for his sister. This was her day.
“There you are!” A voice purred as a hand slid around his arm and down into his hand and squeezed.
April Magnassum. Shit!
This was going to get interesting real quick.
Conrad looked down into the tall, thin blonde’s gaunt face that had makeup caked on it. She was just as thin and gaunt now as she was growing up. The only thing that changed about her now was the fake tits and her hair was longer. Even though she was tall and leggy, she never really did it for Conrad. He liked women with a little meat on their bones, and Addie had that in spades in all the right places.
“I saw you earlier. I thought you saw me.” April cooed as she rubbed her fake tits against his arm. “So, just to make sure you saw me…I found you. Here I am.” Her black dress looked more like a nightgown hanging off her body by the spaghetti straps.
“Nope. Didn’t see you.” Conrad looked over and saw that Addie was still in conversation with Kern. “Looking for…” his voice trailed off.
“Whom?” April cooed again, practically rubbing all over Conrad’s right side.
Then a thought hit Conrad as he looked down at April. This was going to be colossal.
“My wife.” He said matter of factly.
April froze when he said the words. She made no bones about looking at his left hand that still held the other rum and coke. So he took the opportunity to take a long sip of the contents when he realized that he wasn’t wearing a ring. This might be a hard sell.
“You don’t have a ring on.” She said in disbelief.
“I’ve been deployed. I didn’t want to lose it.” He smiled slyly. “Addie understands. Let me introduce you to someone.”
He grabbed April’s hand and literally dragged her on her four inch heels over to stand in front of Addie and Kern. As he came to a stop in front of the cozy couple, he noticed first that Addie looked at the hand that was holding April’s, then her smile dropped and by the look on her face, she must have thought that he’d fucked April. Little did she know. Conrad Dropped April’s hand and stood closer to Addie.
“I’ve come to collect my wife.” He declared.
“Wife?” Both Addie and Kern asked, shocked.
“April, this is Kern, he has more money than God.” He pointed to Kern. “Kern, you’re going to need another one of those…” Conrad nodded to Kern’s drink, “…when you deal with April here. So have fun kids.”
He then slammed the rest of his drink, put the glass down on the table, took Addie’s wine glass and handed it to April who took it. Then he took Addie’s hand and pulled her from the chair. “Excuse us.” He said looking around briefly as Addie was practically pulled down the hallway to where he found a linen closet and entered it closing and locking the door before he leaned against it and pulled Addie up against him.
“This caveman bullshit has got to…”
Addie began and was interrupted by Conrad’s possessive kiss. His arms slid around her waist as his tongue licked her lips wanting into her mouth. Yielding to him was something he knew Addie would do every time. He ate at her mouth, licking, sucking, tasting, overpowering but still giving her pleasure too. He couldn’t get enough of her as he moaned into her mouth. A moan filled with need and want.
“I need you Addie.” Conrad whispered against her lips. “Right here. Right now.”
Addie could feel his cock press against his pants and her dress as he held her to him. She was wet with anticipation from just his kisses. She couldn’t say no to him. But a linen closet? Oh hell yes!
“April?” Addie asked, knowing Conrad would understand.
“A diversion to get you away from Kern on the cob.” Conrad joked.
Conrad turned them around so that Addie was up against the door as he swept the wall next to it for a light switch. Eureka! He’d found one, and the light was on a dimmer. Thank God for small favors. Turning the dimmer to low, he slid his hands up and down Addie’s arms as he leaned his forehead against hers.
“I owe you an apology.” He started. “I was so pissed off at Lisa. I know that kid isn’t mine. I didn’t do anything with her ever, that didn’t involve a condom. I promise.” Conrad’s nose Touched Addie’s. “I think she got pissed because when I came, I called out your name and not hers.
“Really?” Addie’s eyebrows raised. “Why did you even have sex with her if you were going to call out my name?”
“Well, it wasn’t planned. I went to a bar with my buddy Nathan Cale. He and I served together once before. It was the last weekend before deployment and she showed up. I ended up calling her by your name because all I wanted was you.” He shrugged his shoulders. I know it sounds lame. But I did. I wanted her to be you so bad. I was thinking about you and just…”
“I get it. So are you going to fuck me like a neatherthal or do I have to hear more of your sappy story so that you can feel confident that you are going to get laid?” Addie teased.
“Hands above your head. Keep them there.” Was all Conrad said, and then his hands were all over her.
He pushed his cock into her belly as he looked into her eyes. Then his hands started pulling the skirt of her dress up and slid over her thighs where he felt her thigh highs and he groaned. When one hand slid between her legs and didn’t encounter panties, he said fuck at least three or four times. His other hand slid to his waist and undid his belt and button on his pants. The slow working of the zipper made both of them gasp in anticipation. Addie, because she knew he didn’t wear underwear. Conrad, because there wasn’t much room to hide anything in those pants.
Moving closer, Conrad’s free hand pulled Addie’s leg up over his waist and held it there. With his other hand, he moved the fabric of her dress to the side so that it pooled there and he lifted her other leg up, so she locked her legs around his waist. He was right at her entrance. All he had to do was push in.
“Kern?” He asked.
“A really interesting guy.” Addie answered breathing hard and managed a shrug of her shoulders.
“Addie, I swear…” Conrad started.
“He isn’t you. Okay. I want you.” Addie answered.
With a movement of his hips, Conrad slid inside her to the hilt. But he didn’t stop. He pulled right back out and stopped with just the tip of cock inside of her. He liked the tease. He liked that the anticipation only made her hotter. He was so pent up from emotion from earlier, that he wanted to make sure she got hers, because he was ready to blow.
“Don’t stop.” Addie whispered. “My arms are going
to drain of blood if you don’t start moving.”
Conrad growled as he pushed back in. “Fast and hard.” He whispered as Addie nodded her head.
He stared a quick pace and pushed in at different angles to stimulate Addie to come with him. He’d swivel his hips, he’d just straight up slam in and other times he’d go only halfway in. But each time, he got closer and could feel as Addie’s internal muscles started to tighten with her impending release as well. Then he couldn’t take any more. He started slamming against her.
“Fucking good pussy…so…fucking…ah fuck…your…pussy is tight.” Conrad groaned.
“I’m…close…hurry.” Addie groaned. “Conrad please…more.” She pushed against the door to try and shove her bottom half into his. “Unnngghh…”
“Fucking…love…this pussy.” Conrad groaned as he moved in and out of her.
“Conrad, Conrad, Conrad.” Addie started to get a little loud, so he slammed his mouth on hers so as to keep her somewhat quiet.
And then he detonated. His balls drew up and he shot off like a rocket, groaning into Addie’s mouth. With his orgasm, Addie followed right after, squeezing his cock dry. Leaving her mouth, he let his head fall on her shoulder as her arms rested on his shoulders.
When Conrad pulled out, Addie could feel his cum on her legs.
“You will leave it there.” Conrad said as he gently let her legs down but kept ahold of her hips until she was steady on her heels.
“Like you’ve marked me. How cavemanish.” Addie deadpanned. “Fine, you’ll not clean either.”
“Fine. I have no problem smelling like pussy.” He smiled at her.
“Good.” She rolled her eyes. “But quite honestly Conrad, I don’t want to meet your father with your cum sliding down my legs.”
“You roll your eyes again and I swear to all that’s holy, I’ll fuck you again and this time I won’t put my mouth on yours to cover your screams.”
“Is that a threat? Because, I can guarantee you big boy…you’ll be the one screaming and moaning. You were on the verge, don’t deny it.” Addie adjusted her breasts in her strapless bra an smoothed her skirt out.
“I don’t deny it. You’re the only one that does that to me.” Conrad got in her face and smile brightly. “And don’t worry about my Pop. He knows how I am.”
“Alright caveman. Take it down a notch.” Addie shook her head and moved in to kiss him quickly.
After straightening their clothes, Conrad kissed her lightly on the lips once more before he unlocked the door and took her hand and walked out. He walked beside her as they walked toward the ballroom, instead of pulling her behind him like he had before. They slipped into the reception and found that people were still milling around noshing on the hors d’oerves. Conrad breathed a sigh of relief that they hadn’t missed much apparently. He made his way back to the family table where he and Addie stood looking out of the windows as the sun was setting.
“There you are.” Carrie sounded relieved.
Conrad turned around to see his sister holding on to Addie’s clutch. “Thanks Carrie.” Conrad said taking the clutch and setting it on the table. “Carrie, this is my date Addie Marshall. Addie, my sister.”
Addie was dumbstruck at the slender woman that had the same hair color and similar features, only softer than Conrad’s. She had gorgeous full lips and baby blue eyes. Addie extended her hand, but was met with a hug from Carrie instead.
“Don’t mind my brother.” Carrie said. “We know he’s a Neanderthal.”
Addie couldn’t help but laugh as she hugged Carrie back. “I know what you mean. But he isn’t anything I can’t handle.”
“Please just don’t hurt him.” Carrie whispered while still hugging Addie. “I can tell he likes you.”
Addie pulled back and held Carrie’s hands. “You don’t have to worry about that.” She winked at her. “I’ll be the injured party. Trust me.”
Carrie shook her head. “He’s never brought one of his girls home to meet the family.”
“Well, I can’t say as that I’m one of his girls. But we do keep in touch and have nasty, sweaty, closet sex every now and then.” Addie shrugged smiling.
At that, Carrie laughed loudly as the smile that graced her face made Addie think that she was even more beautiful.
“Um, Hello? I’m still right here. I haven’t gone anywhere.” Conrad said waiving his hands.
“She’s feeling me out.” Addie said. “Making sure I’m worthy of the big brother.” She smiled.
“Oh hell no!” Carrie almost shouted. “I’m making sure that he’s good enough for you. And from what I see, Addie…he is. I can tell how you feel about him. It’s so prevalent in the look on your face. You blush when you say anything about him. I can’t wait until you two make it official.”
“Make what official?” Keith Renner asked as he came up from behind Addie.
“Until Addie and Conrad marry.” Carrie answered.
“I heard they already were.” Keith looked at his son with an arched eyebrow.
Conrad scratched his neck as Carrie looked at him with daggers in her eyes.
“Yeah…you mentioned….” Addie started, but Conrad cut her off.
“Geez. April Maganussum was rubbing all over me and wouldn’t leave me alone.” Conrad looked at the line of the nearest bar as he moved his hand from his neck to his temple. “So, I might have said that I was looking for my wife who was being macked on by Kern Whitman in a cozy little area in the hotel lobby.”
And with that, Conrad walked away from Carrie, Addie and his Pop in search of a rum and coke.
“Well, welcome to the family Addie.” Keith said extending his hand to Addie who let go of Carrie to take it.
“Thank you Sir. But that wasn’t a formal proposal, I can assure you of that.” Addie laughed.
“Give him time. You’re the first girl he’s brought to actually meet the family.” He answered.
Addie’s eyebrows shot up as she looked over at Conrad who was standing at the bar downing a rum and coke and put his glass down and ordered another. She smirked at him. Great, he was working on his way to really being drunk. Did he need to get drunk to be with her? Maybe she’d ask him when he came back over. If he came back over.
“Don’t worry. He’s just nervous.” Carrie answered, making Addie think she’d said something out loud.
“I’m not. He has girls in Italy that are falling all over him for his attention. As long as I’m on a different continent, they have no competition.” Addie smiled. “But I have realized that I’m hogging the bride and you need to go mingle.”
“Trust me, I’m done mingling.” Carrie gave a reassuring smile. “Most of these two hundred and forty eight people are friends and family of Roger. So, trust me. I’m fine.”
The dinner bell rang and Addie turned around and sat down in front of the card that had her name on it. Jeff sat to her left and to her right was Conrad’s seat. Looking around, she saw that he was cornered again by April. Sighing, she went to get up when Jeff put his hand on her arm and said he’d take care of it. A few moments later, a very inebriated Conrad sat in his chair next to Addie and leaned over as he slid one hand in her hair, he tilted her how he wanted her and kissed her deeply for several seconds. When they parted, Addie was beet red and her eyes were wide with shock.
“Was that for my benefit or for April’s?” Addie looked at Conrad, who took a sip of his new drink.
“That was all yours baby.” Conrad said smiling at her with a goofy grin.
“How many of those have you had?” Addie pointed to his glass.
“Shit, who cares?” Conrad laughed a salad was placed in front of him.
Dinner was a relatively quiet event. Jeff was sitting next to his father, on the other side of Conrad was his brother in law, at the round table. Addie asked Carrie why they elected to have round tables instead of a long table for the wedding party, she said she liked small and intimate. Roger Sewell seemed the polar opposite of the
small Renner clan. Very blonde, skinny and very reserved, unless it came to his family.
Conrad would lean over and tell Addie about his deployments and sometimes he’d slide his hand under the table to caress her thigh. As their backs were to the windows, no one would notice. He’d ask if she was still wet, and when she would just nod, he’d smile brightly at her.
The bridal dance went off without a hitch as did the cutting of the cake. Conrad asked Addie to dance with him. So, she got up as he took her hand and spun her around once on the dance floor before he pulled her to him and swayed to the small band that was set up. Neither recognized the tune playing, but it was a slow mellow beat, just like they wanted.
“You’re my anchor line Addie.” Conrad softly whispered in her ear.
“What is that?” Addie asked.
“I’ll let you look it up to see what it means. You’ll understand then.” Was all he would say.
After another song started, Conrad leaned down to her ear again. “Did you like it when I told April and Kern on the cob that you were my wife?”
“Honestly?” Addie looked up at him.
He nodded.
“It kind of pissed me off why you did it.” The look on Conrad’s face was shock. She knew she had to soften the blow. “But if having hot closet sex is what I get out of being your wife, i’ll take it any day of the week.” She smiled.
That seemed to have improved Conrad’s mood, because he pulled her closer to him and kissed the top of her head and kept dancing. The after party went well into the two o’clock hour and Addie had decided that she needed to pour Conrad into bed. He’d had at least ten of those rum and coke things and there were shots with his brother and sister. He’d had at least one beer with his dad. His uniform jacket taken off hours ago with his tie, his sleeves rolled up to his elbows, he was sitting there swaying back and forth.
She’d spied Jeff on the dance floor and motioned that she was taking Conrad up to the room, so Jeff waived and mouthed that he’d see her tomorrow for breakfast. Then she was in search of Carrie who had somehow stolen the photographer’s camera and was going around taking pictures of the guests. When she Carrie saw Addie wave, she walked over and demanded a picture of Addie and Conrad for the wedding album.
