Dusk of a Hybrid

… and Marina’s eyes opened wide and gasped for air upon the impact once Valverno touched Marina’s chest. The Siren breathed heavily, and her eyes glittered bright. Marina rolled her eyes and turned her head in the direction of Valverno, as they both saw each other’s eyes once again.
Marina was alive! And three more!
The Siren and the three seeds carrying within her Valverno felt were breathing and living again in the Mortal Realm.
“Marina!” cried the Demigod.
“Valverno!” cried the Siren.
Both had embraced in a tight hug, knowing full well they were alive. Valverno kneeled down as Marina sat herself from lying on the ground. The crossbreed lovers once again held each other in their arms, and their love still blossomed when one lives and one’s dead.
“Marina,” he whispered, with tears of joy and sorrow dripping from his eyes. “I’ve longed abandon you and left you in the hands of Lusìvar’s tyrannical hands. I tossed away my life due to a desire for vengeance. I tossed everything and everyone away for a dark desire of tossing away my demigod persona, and I’m sor—”
Marina kissed him and seemly to shut him up. She tightly pressed her lips toward Valverno’s lips so suddenly it caught the demigod by surprise. After a long minute, Marina released her tight, squeezed lips away from Valverno’s divine lips.
“Just shut up, hybrid,” she whispered. “It’s not your style, but it’s relatively nice to see you smile once again.”
“If you say so,” sniffed Valverno, kissing her back.
After another minute, the demigod released his lips from hers and helped the Siren back to her feet. Then Valverno clapped his hands and sprung out a long sheet from his glowing hands: a blanket. He quickly wrapped it around Marina’s shoulders and covered her naked body. An arm was around her back and the other softly touching her belly. Three heartbeats were felt within Valverno’s touch.
“How I long to hold you again in my arms and the three seeds you carry, Siren. I have done no other mortal could not have: bringing you back from the dead. I cut out half my mortal heart and inserted it into you. And I am other glad to have done this, without remorse and without regret. But there are other people I also need to save, but I just can’t leave you.”
“Go, Demigod Valverno. Free the mortals. Slay the Demon Prince. Save the Mortal Realm. With this heart you have given me, your love will protect me more than you could ever more. You have more family that needs your protection, and they need a brother to be looking after them; you’re the Demigod of the Mortal Realm. Let me stay here, until I have fully healed. My body is weak, but a little more rest will heal them. And when I am healed, make me the proudest Siren ever.”
Valverno nodded and widened out his only wing. In a flash, he headed toward the direction of Lusìvar and the Titans.
COLOSSAL OBLIVION
The southeastern terrain of the towering fortress where Valverno battled against the Snake Clan was barren and windy storms of ash and dust swirling every hour. Many of the towers of the fortress toppled from signs of battle. Many weapons stored within the towers crushed by the stomps of marching feet. A great battle happened after the disappearance of a demigod and the appearance of a new Demon Prince.
The surrounding foothills surrounding the fortress were destroyed with a giant hole in the ground, embedding a giant paw print of a giant dog into the ground. Only four were found from the fortress, and all four stretching up to more than a hundred miles of open ground.
The fortress served as a battle place where Sora and Teutates fought each other and then against the evil creatures serving Lusìvar. Sora and Teutates fought over leadership and the role Valverno left behind, but no choice was made when evil came swarming around them like a swarm of ants.
And when the seven Titans arrived with Lusìvar, it was clearly over. He proclaimed himself the new Demon Prince and the ruler of the Mortal Realm, showing the left wing of the demigod, and Lusìvar showed it to everyone as prove their only hope was dead and gone buried at the bottom of the sea.
On the first day the Titans came, little resistance was taken but easily subdued. The Hydra with all heads roared at any people brave and mad enough to dare oppose the new Demon Prince, which made all shiver in fear. Teutates and his army, along with a few thousand soldiers loyal to Valverno, were the only bands of resistance that ran retreated and not dare to mingle with others, leaving Valverno’s remaining loyal forces to deal with the monsters.
But, in no time, everyone was bound in chains and caged up in bone-made cages, which bones consisted of human and creature bones. Each cage was enhanced with a magical barrier that creates an electrifying charge. And if the bone-bars are touched, the fingers touching would be electrocuted and paralyze the body for many days.
Every human and creature that fought for the Light has been captured all by Lusìvar singlehandedly. Lusìvar went from being the Shadow King to the new Demon Prince, which gave him power a thousandfold. His powers were too powerful for three White Whites and tossed them aside and sucked out all their power, as he did with Valverno and became the new Demon Prince.
Now, he ruled the southeastern side of Isla Maeli on a large hill where he looked on a terrain of a volcanic wasteland. Smoke was spewing from small volcano fumes. The fumes rose into the air and covered the blue sky and the sun with it’s a cloud of smoke and dust riddling with red-blood lightening.
The clouds were red, black, and brown stretching outwards enough to block the sun’s light from reaching down to the people chained to the ground and roped in cages. All Centaurs, Dragons, Fairies, Griffins, Merpeople, Pegasi, Sea Serpents, and Unicorns were all pricked and easily preyed like little toys by their evil brethren: Banshees, Basilisks, Black Dogs, Chimeras, Cyclopes, Harpies, Manticores, and Minotaurs. The darkness spurring on the small land covered by the dark clouds floating overhead was a utopia for the ultimate evil.
The Titans stood behind Lusìvar’s throne and ready to serve the son of the dead Titan King: the Leviathan. The Kraken, the Cerberus, the Wendigo, the Thunderbird, the Blemmyae, the Hydra, and the Ushioni either sat or stood behind the new Demon Prince and Titan King as he sat atop his long-spiked, boned-made throne.
Beside him, Sora’s wrists were chained to his black throne in a red-black dress; it was her armor she wore as the White Knight, but it was colored with ash and blood. All the pale white-blue colors had faded like the setting sun never to dawn again. She was like this when Lusìvar drained her of her Pangaean power and turned her clothes into a uniform that best suited the land he ruled.
“This is such perfect! How the land once looked when I ruled Pangaea when it was still primitive and new,” said Lusìvar. “Now that I am the Demon Prince my power is stronger a thousandfold. And if a god were to attack, then I will have more power to withstand its divine might than to have me casted away in a mere second, just what the dragon god did when it came from its Realm and deliver freedom to the primitive Pangaeans, your early ancestors, Charity.”
“Ancestors that gave Valverno a good life with me,” said Sora, her eyes glaring with disgust.
“Him again? He has long been dead. He is vanquished, and he has long been gone from this Realm. Now I rule in his stead. And instead of ruling for your mortals thought of me ruling for four thousand years, I will rule for eight thousand and beyond. And I will show everyone what a true ruler will be.”
“You’re no ruler compared to my brother!”
Lusìvar turned his gaze to the White Knight of Charity with a disgust look of his own. “I am a thousand times the better ruler he ever will be!”
“You’re nothing in comparison to my brother, as he was and became a son of a god while you are the son of a dead Titan my brother pushed into the Pool of Shadows, which made you a weak ghost of your father! You’re just extremely jealous that he asked to be the son of a god you weren’t allowed to be. He’s more fitte
d to be the God of the Mortal Realm than you ever will be!”
Lusìvar’s disgusted glare turned a glare of hate. He stood to his feet and pulled out his red long red sword. “I’ll show you the real god of the Mortal Realm.” He raised his sword as not to kill the girl but to cut deep down something painful that will make her remember who the true Ruler of the Mortal Realm was.
Sora didn’t spare to look away in fear but to look at Lusìvar with an angered yet determined gaze. She knew what was going to happen to her, and she wasn’t going to look away. She was going to accept what was coming to her, even though she didn’t have the strength to fight back.
Then, the hilltop collapsed and Lusìvar’s throne broke so quickly something shot by it landed between Lusìvar and Sora.
Both were blown backwards and rolled across the land from the exploding hill. There was a spark of light that shot from the sky like a comet, and a giant shockwave exploded the land covered by the dark clouds floating overhead.
Lusìvar landed on his feet and watch his throne on the hill fall into a pile of ashy, dusty rubble. A faint white light sparked from the rising cloud of dust the hill felt behind. “What is this?” he asked.
“You’re worst nightmare, Demon Prince Lusìvar!” said a distorted voice.
The cloud soon faded and a large figure shown: a pair of wings and legs and a tail was shown. They were of white, blue crystal diamond and a human torso of sunburnt skin and red hair nearly looking like a flattop and a pair of red-blue horns on his head.
“And thanks for hanging onto my left wing you took from me,” said the winged figure. “I much appreciated it.”
“VALVERNO!” shouted Sora.
“What!? This can’t be! You are supposed to be dead!”
Valverno gave a fly smile.
“Demon Prince Vaeludar is dead, and Demigod Valverno lives.”
The hybrid flapped his wings once like clapping hands and a shockwave shock around the air and exploded toward the terrain that was covered in the dark clouds fuming from the small volcanoes.
The volcanos stopped spewing cloudy, ashy fumes and sank into the ground. Light poured behind the clouds, and the clouds faded into a faint rainstorm before stopping its water after mere seconds of pouring water droplets. The barren land suddenly blossomed with envy green plants and beautiful flowers.
From a land of Shadow, there came a new of land of a new Light sprouting its magnificent brightness on the land that hasn’t seen any sunlight for over a year. The vile evil beings of the land covered their eyes from the blinding sunlight while others embraced it and had their chains and cages removed and disappeared.
“How is this possible?” shouted Lusìvar, casting his hands over his eyes.
“Shadow can’t exist without Light, Demon Prince; one can’t exist without the other. Now, it’s for you to be banished from the Mortal Realm and go to where your Devil King father dwells: the Evil Realm.”
“NO!” shouted Lusìvar, raising both his eyes toward the Demigod that has come back from the dead. He stretched out his red sword toward Valverno who quickly waved his hand in the air, and Lusìvar’s red sword was flung out of his hand.
“TITANS!”
The seven Titans rose up quickly and took quick glances at the small demigod they saw small as a mosquito.
Valverno rose up and took to the sky. He banged his head against one of the nine heads of the Hydra and the dragonlike Titan smoldered back a few steps and toward the ocean a Titan could walk toward in five steps.
Then the three-headed dog Titan, Cerberus, took to the charge, but one of its noses from the middle head was snapped from its snout with a small flick of Valverno’s finger from his left hand. The Cerberus growled like wining puppy. Then the remaining five Titans circled around the one demigod and exhaled many different odors of breathes from their mouths.
But it was nothing to the demigod; he whipped his tail and all breathy odors faded. The very air no longer smelt like a rat’s mauled body but as fresh as the morning breeze from the ocean waves beating against sands of the beaches.
Valverno’s spikes on his back charged a plasmatic energy that gushed through his tail. His wings added more power to the charging energy power that he spewed from his mouth like wildfire. He unleashed his energy directly at the body of the three-headed dog Titan backing toward the sea.
“Bad doggy! Bad! No bone! Timeout!”
Valverno straight shot the giant dog deeper into the depths of sea and away from the land of Isla Maeli. Then he stopped breathing and flew to push against the Cerberus’s ribcage with his bare hands with a mighty force of supreme strength his divine power was giving him against one colossal Titan that was a dog with three heads. This was a Titan not giving him any trouble in comparison to the Five-Headed Dragon.
Then Valverno felt a spark of lightning flashing from beneath the waves of the ravaging seas. Both from the sea and the sky suddenly shot beams of thunder and lightning at the demigod; the Thunderbird floated among dark clouds it made from its massive wings.
Valverno halted and flashed a bright light from his wings that blinded the Cerberus monster and sank its three heads into the water. After blinding the bad dog, Valverno turned his attention toward the big bird in the sky, flashing red lightning through a swarm of black-red clouds in the sky.
He flew through the clouds, and the Thunderbird was sharking its beaming power of flash lightning from its large feathered wings. Valverno could easy inhale all its electrifying power as he was pretending to be weak and chased by the giant bird. His own wings made its own power of lightning of blue color and struck against red lightning.
His lightning power was small in comparison to the Thunderbird’s lightning power, but Valverno could spark his own sparkling powers against the bird Titan because he was the Demigod of the Mortal Realm.
The power of the electric blue lightning unleashing from Valverno’s wings flashed against the might of the giant, colossal bird. The Thunderbird charged flashed more lightning from its wings than Valverno flashing his lightning with his wings, but the power of a bird’s wings was no flashing match against the flashing powers of a half god.
Then Valverno clapped his hand together and a large spark of more lightning sparked across the cloudy sky, sending shockwaves of blue-white lightning through the sky. After he clapped his hands, Valverno aimed his palms at the giant bird and unleashed a large hail of blue-white lightning from his hands’ palms.
The Thunderbird was zapped by Valverno’s thundering, flashing attack of pure electricity. Its head, beak, body, and head were being electrocuted on through its feathers and within its body. Valverno’s power plunged through the Thunderbird’s entire body, and it was an electrifying experience the bird was experiencing in its lifetime.
“Shocking! Very shocking!” he shouted from below the bird.
From behind the electrified bird, nine roaring heads on long snakelike necks appeared from a single massive body with two massive wings and two massive legs and one massive tail: the draconic Titan, the Hydra.
Its nine heads roared loudly and fiercely enough from the sky it could cause a great harm to a human’s ears and permanently make the human go deaf. Valverno’s ears absorbed many shockwaves the dragon Titan roared from its nine heads, and he didn’t go deaf; the echoing shockwaves were then inhaled through Valverno’s mouth and transported into his lungs.
His hybrid lungs felt strong vibrations as he felt like he was eating the Hydra’s roaring into his own mouth. Then he closed his mouth for ten full seconds and opening his mouth again to give out a loud ROAR of his own.
His roar was even as loud as the nine heads combined and his single mouth produced a large tornado he ate from the Hydra’s nine heads that roared at him. From the tornado, a clash of steamy blue flames and white thundering lightning ignited within the tornado blowing toward the large nine-headed Titan.
<
br /> The conjoined power of wind, fire, and lightning burned, electrocuted, and gushed all at once. It body spun wildly with the wind, the fire burned its bright scales, and the lightning sparked scale to bone. The entire body of the Hydra’s roaring power had backfired at its own power source, with a magical divine power from the demigod.
Then Valverno stopped his blowing-roaring power and flew toward in the middle of the heads that still spun from his blowing power.
He used his fists to punch fiercely pound head without mercy. He was small as a flea to this giant Dragon as with the other Titans that still stand. But he was a flea that had raw power of a god. He pounded each of the heads before they could get a grip as to where the demigod was flying through a storm of clouds that was suddenly conjured by the demigod.
After punching the nine heads with mere bare fists, he rose higher than the Hydra’s nine frail heads and soared back down like a commit falling from the sky. He aimed his hands at the Hydra’s central chest point and pounded it through the beast hard, making a giant hole through the Hydra’s body. The Hydra led out many agonizing roars from its nine heads and drifted from the sky,
Then Valverno flew back to the ground and landed near the destroyed throne where Sora and Lusìvar stood. Valverno’s landed sent out a windy shockwave that spread the steamy air and generated a soft, gentle breeze
“Val…Valverno! It is you! You’re alive.” Sora gasped in a loud voice.
“Hello, dear sister,” he said, kissing her on her cheek. “Miss me?”
“Oh, oh Elder Brother!” She wrapped her hands around his neck and started sobbing. Valverno rubbed a hand on the back of her head and placing another hand on her back.
While sharing a wonderful embrace with his half-sister, he gave a stern look at Lusìvar who didn’t look happy to see the hybrid again.
“If you died once before, then you can die again, and together with her lovable sibling!”
