Fuck. Her panties were so incredibly wet.

He peeled her underwear down her angry red ass cheeks. Angry like the bitterness he had toward her ex. He slid his fingers between her soaked pussy folds and watched her lips pucker. Her face tilted off to the side and she looked back at him, her fiery eyes melting with lust for him. He smoothed his hand over her pussy. Took in the trimmed hairs and groaned at the way she poured into his palm. His fingers parted her pussy folds and his fingers found her clit, and soon her legs were jumping with their effort to stay up.

“I’m sorry,” Kallie said breathlessly. “I’m so sorry for everything that’s happened.”

He worked her clit, watching as her body jumped. He bent down and peppered her red ass with kisses. She bucked into his face, making him smile. Her heels were jumping against the floor, making the most incredible clicking noises. Her moans turned to sighs and whimpers, filling the corners of her small-as-fuck office. He kissed up her back. Smoothed more clothes out of the way until he could feel Kallie giving way.

“Oh my gosh. So close, Ash. Please.”

But he pulled away, leaving her to whimper as his hand came around to her mouth.

He painted her lips with her pussy juices and watched as she sucked his fingers dry. Such a dirty girl for him, and he loved it. His hand worked his pants down his legs and held his rock-hard girth, stroking it and feeling it throb as Kallie’s tongue worked around his fingers. His hand held her neck down to her desk as he slid his cock against her dripping folds. Slicking himself up in her arousal before teasing her clit with the head of his cock.

“Holy shit,” she said with a whisper.

Then Ash pressed into her body and sank slowly to his hilt.

  Chapter 20

  Kallie

Kallie was overcome with emotion. With a need to be dominated by the only man she wanted in her life. She’d been angry. Hurt by his words. Stunned by the headlines the tabloids were parading around. But as Ash bottomed out inside of her body and his hands planted next to her face on her desk, she came to a startling conclusion.

Kallie had fallen in love with Ash.

“You’re mine,” Ash said as he rolled into her. “Do you hear me?”

“Yours,” Kallie said with a whisper. “I’m yours, Ash.”

“No one touches you. No man, no ex. And every time they do, I want you to remember how I make you feel. Remember the pleasure I sweep along your body.”

“It’s so good,” she said as tears welled in her eyes. “Ash, I’m so—”

“Don’t say it,” he said. “Just stop playing his game. Stop being his pawn, Kallie.”

The words hit her with a force. And they were true. The man she’d dedicated years of her life to had reduced her to nothing but a pawn in whatever game he was playing. Her anger bubbled up inside, shadowing the hurt she still felt from him. She felt Ash’s lips bend down to the nape of her neck. Peppering her skin with kisses as he hovered above her. She wrapped her hands around the edge of her desk and braced herself, ready for the impact of his body against hers.

She wanted him somewhere no one had taken her. Not even James.

She wanted him in her office.

Kallie bucked her body back into his and he unleashed. He slammed into her, jiggling her throbbing ass cheeks for his viewing pleasure. He thickened against her walls. He coated himself in her juices. With every impact of his hips against hers, she felt her arousal spray him. Coat his skin and bathe him in her essence. She pushed back against him, wanting to be taken. Wanting to be owned. Wanting to be his.

  To be Ashly Worthington’s woman.

He rose his body up and his hands gripped her hips. She closed her eyes and braced for it as his fingertips curled into her excess. His hips snapped against hers and she moaned. Wailed out into her office. She didn’t care who heard. She didn’t care who came knocking. Fire coursed through her veins and a new and exciting need to be owned by the man she loved rushed over her form. His balls smacked her clit, making her grow weak in the knees. Every time he pounded into her, his balls touched the tip of her swollen nub. Her legs became Jell-o and her heels clacked against the floor. Her hands gripped the edge of the desk so tightly she knew she’d have bruises the next day.

Marvelous bruises that marked the beginning of something new. Something better.

  Something she could trust.

She felt Ash slip his arm around her chest and pull her upright. Her legs were spread as she stood on her tiptoes, feeling Ash’s massive hand encompass her neck. Her head turned back in to his and he captured her lips, running his tongue along the roof of her mouth. Her back fell into him. Pressed against his chest as his free hand slid down her stomach. He parted her pussy folds and found her clit and began circling it at lightning speed.

Leaving Kallie breathless as he fucked her standing up in her office.

His tongue collided with hers and her hands threaded behind her. Gripped onto his hair and pulled him deeper into her lips. She could feel them swelling. She could feel herself approaching her end. Her pussy clamped down onto Ash’s cock as he pulsed wildly, his entire body grinding against hers. His fingers tilted her head to the side. Exposing her neck as he sucked a line down her pulse point. He lapped his tongue along the fluttering vein as his fingers moved faster, shooting pure electricity through her mind.

She was at a standstill. Unsure of where to go from there except to stand there and receive the glorious punishment befalling her for her actions.

His hips snapped faster. Harder. Quicker than she’d ever thought possible. Her pussy soaked his cock. His balls. His thighs. She could smell her scent filling her office space. His entire hand cupped her pussy before he rose his fingers up, then one after another, he slapped her clit. Batted it so her body jolted against him.

“That’s it,” Ash said. “Jump for me, Kallie. Into me. Release around me. Collapse into my arms, Pretty Kallie.”

She physically fell into him and her body exploded. Her legs gave out as he held her, his cock slipping from between her pussy. They slammed against the wall and she watched as threads of cum shot from between her legs. Painting the outside perimeter of her desk as she fell into his strong embrace. He wrapped his arms underneath her bosom and pulled her upright, holding her trembling form against him as they both came together. His body, releasing its salted cum between her legs and her body, jerking and quaking against his.

Her head fell to his chest and he kissed the top of it before they slowly slid to the floor.

Kallie’s heart was racing. Taking in everything that had just happened. Was that an apology? A punishment? A reaffirmation of where they stood? Her thoughts spun too fast for her to comprehend anything. Ash’s touch felt too good for her to focus on anything else. His arms dropped from her body to her legs, massaging her thighs as they sat together on the floor. His legs were folded out for her, his knees off to the side so she could sit in his lap. Her panties and her skirt were on the floor in front of her and she watched as cum dripped from the front of the desk onto her clothes.

Good thing she kept another outfit in her office.

She closed her eyes and let Ash massaged her body. Her thighs. Her hips. Her stomach. Her breasts. His hands made their way up to her shoulders and she fell forward, taking in his touch one last time.

Just in case this wasn’t what she thought it was.

  But she hoped.

Oh, she hoped this wasn’t goodbye sex.

After fifteen minutes of utter silence, Kallie finally had the strength to get up. She kicked off her heels and wobbled over to her desk, opening up the largest drawer it had. She pulled out another pair of underwear and a pair of pants, then slipped them up her body. Her eyes rose to connect with Ash’s and he was grinning at her. Eyeing her with that beautiful boyish stare she’d come to enjoy.

  Come to love, really.

“Take many men in your office?” he asked as he stood.

“More like I eat way too many lunches and
spill them on myself,” she said.

“Then you should eat your lunches out with me. Where I go, they have these things called ‘napkins’ that help with issues like that.”

Kallie giggled and shook her head as hope welled in her chest. Lunches with him? Did that mean things were okay again? She tried not to let hope spread through her veins, because if the last few weeks had taught her anything, it had taught her that life would whiplash someone in a millisecond. She tucked her blouse into her pants before taking her hair down, then pinned it back up so it didn’t look so disheveled.

She watched as Ash reached for his pants, his hands tucking his shirt back in before he clothed himself in her office.

“What do you want to do with those?” he asked.

He nodded to her cum-soaked clothes that were drying on the floor.

“I’ll put them in my purse and take them home,” Kallie said. “They’ll need to be washed.”

“Nonsense. You can bring them to my place. We’ll wash them there.”

“Why would I be at your place?”

“Not to completely spoil the evening, but I was hoping to get you back to my place after dinner,” he said.

“So, you still want to take me to dinner.”

She watched Ash’s face morph, but she wasn’t sure why. It was a mixture of shock and pain before something else flew across his face. It was too quick to catch and it disappeared in a flash, but he strode toward her and wrapped her up in his arm before their eyes connected. His embrace was strong, but his touch was tender. Gentle. Sweet. Kallie closed her eyes as she felt Ash’s nose nuzzle hers, and her hands planted into his chest. To keep some semblance of strength as her head continued to swirl.

“Of course I still want to take you to dinner,” Ash said.

“Then we need to talk about something.”

“Don’t tell me there’s another article.”

She swatted his chest before she looked up into his eyes.

“You can’t decide when to trust me and when not to,” she said. “It doesn't work that way. You have to take a side, and if we’re going to work, then it has to be my side. You have to trust that I won’t cheat on you. That I’m not capable of it. I’m not going to hurt you, Ash. Not you. Never you.”

Her hands went to straightening his tie as he looked down upon her with his intense gaze.

“I’m not that kind of girl,” she said. “And you have to believe that.”

She tightened his tie and smiled, then felt Ash tilt her gaze back up to his. He kissed the tip of her nose and the action made her weak in the knees, but she was determined to keep upright. She had to keep some modicum of control. Some modicum of decency. She wouldn't allow herself to turn into one of those flippant women who fell at the feet of rich, handsome men simply because they knew how to press her buttons.

But it was hard with Ash.

Loving him made her weak for him.

“I promise I’ll do better,” Ash said.

“That’s all I’m asking,” Kallie said.

“I have to admit, though. I’m not familiar with relationships and jealousy. This is new territory for me.”

  “Understandable.”

“But you’re special, Kallie. And you’re worth the journey if it means I get you in the end.”

His words warmed her inside. She felt a smile cross her face and she reached up to kiss him one last time. She pulled him in for a hug and the two of them stood there, momentarily forgetting about the assault the tabloids were probably enacting. She had no idea what they were going to do about it, but she knew the two of them could work through it. She felt strong with Ash. Stronger than she had in a long time. And she had faith that the two of them could get through this shit.

“I should get back to work,” Ash said.

“Now look who’s using work as an excuse. And nonexistent work at that,” Kallie said with a grin.

“Was work an excuse to get away from me this morning?”

“It depends. Is yours an excuse to get away from me now?”

“Never. But I am picking up this pretty hot woman for dinner, and I don’t want to be late.”

“Well don’t get caught kissing her,” she said with a smile. “The tabloids will rip you in two.”

Kallie stepped back from Ash and she saw the smile on his face. The lighthearted smile that pulled her in to begin with. He shook his head as he walked for the door, his hand falling to the doorknob. Part of her didn’t want to let him go. Didn’t want him to walk out and leave her here by herself. But now that dinner was back on, she also had things she wanted to accomplish.

Especially if she was going to have a late start in the morning.

“You still haven’t answered my question,” Ash said.

“Was there a question to be answered?” Kallie asked.

“I rudely assumed you were coming to my place this evening.”

  “Oh. Right. How rude.”

“So, the question is: your place or mine tonight?” he asked.

“Funny, I thought the guy was supposed to buy the girl dinner first.”

“He’s technically supposed to do that before he tears her office apart as well. But I think we skipped a few rungs with that one, don’t you think?”

“Yeah. Thanks for sticking me with this mess, by the way,” she said.

“Trust me, I’ll make it up to you.”

  “Is that a promise?”

“No,” he said as he opened the door. “It’s a guarantee. I’ll pick you up here after you’re done working.”

“I’ll need to go home and change. Clean up,” Kallie said.

“Trust me. Not with where I’m taking you,” he said with a grin.

“My car’s here, Ash. Why don’t I drive over to your place and then we can go from there?”

  “Are you always this combative?”

“Are you always this desperate for control?” she asked.

“Do you want control?” Ash asked. “Because I think our last two encounters have shown me you might not.”

Kallie giggled and watched as Ash left her office with a wink. She felt like she was in a daze. She walked over to the door and saw him to the elevator, and he turned around and winked at her before the doors closed him off. Her heart slammed against her chest as she shut her office door. This thing she had with Ash was more intense than anything she’d ever felt in her entire life. Never once had she reached this type of ferocity and fiery desperation with a man. Not even James.

Which meant if something ever happened to them, it would hurt so much more than James.

Kallie bent over and began picking up her things. There wasn’t a lot on the floor. Her laptop. Some pens. Her calendar. An empty coffee travel mug. It took her less than five minutes to get it all back on top of the desk. She sat in her chair and leaned back, allowing her eyes to close for a brief moment.

And that phrase began to tumble around in her head.

  I love him.

She didn’t know how or when it happened, but it was the truth. Her heart sang for Ash. When she saw that headline and those pictures, the first thought that flooded her mind was whether or not Ash was all right. Not whether or not her reputation would be okay, and not how her business would suffer. Not even how much she wanted to strangle James for that night.

The only thought was how this had affected Ash.

  And that worried her.

He had her. Hook, line, and sinker. Whether it was the way he pursued her or the way he fucked her or the way he made her feel special in all the right ways, she wasn’t sure. Maybe it was a combination of all those things and maybe it was none of them. But she was in deeper than she ever had been with James. Deeper than she’d ever allowed herself to be with James.

Maybe she had never really loved James. Maybe she settled for James because that was all she’d known. Through her college years. Through her graduation. Through her young adult years. She loved James at one point, but that love was nothing compared t
o what she felt for Ash. What she knew was real with Ash. But had Kallie done James a disservice? Had she settled for him when she accepted his proposal?

  She didn’t think she had.

But now that Ash was in her life, she wasn’t so sure.

Either way, it didn’t matter. She had work to get done, so she could be ready by the time Ash came to pick her up. She sat at her desk, opened up some files, and knocked out some work so she could have a lazy morning with Ash. She rescheduled one of her phone conversations and freed herself up until lunchtime, then she closed her laptop and sighed.

The clock was about to strike five thirty.

Which meant she would be leaving for Ash’s penthouse soon.

  Chapter 21

  Ash

Ash was counting the hours until Kallie finished up with her work. He hated not having access to her. Not being beside her all the time. He respected the fact that she’d built her own business and was very passionate about it, but if things went well, then she didn’t have to keep it up. He’d support her if she wanted to, but maybe he’d get her a space closer to his apartment. Or hell, she could run her business out of his apartment. Or she could give it up. He didn’t care. He had more than enough money for the both of them, and then they could be together all the time. She wouldn’t have to work or stress herself out. They could have lazy mornings every day and clothing could be a thing of the past.

She could spend every waking moment with him, and Ash didn’t think he’d get bored for one second.

Ash was expecting Kallie soon enough, so when the doorbell rang he rushed over to it. He ripped the door open and readied himself to drag her into the apartment, tear off her clothes, and revel in the marks he left on her body while creating more.
