CHAPTER TWO
Kelian
At least she was safe now, away from those men, I didn't dare to wonder what might have happened to her if I didn't manage to rescue her. She laid there in the back of the van, various layers of fabric that I managed to scrounge up enclosing her body, she would need a while to get over all of this, but at least now my mission was clear.
I took a few moments to admire her, my finger dashing along her cheek, her brown locks fluttering over her face. She didn't have any severe wounds, pretty minor cuts and bruises, nothing that wouldn't heal in a matter of days. I rest my golden eyes on her, these grey fingers brushing her cheek as she cooed in her sleep. I felt that impulse going off again, that need to claim her, to protect her, to pin her down right here and fill her with my seed, as if it was imperative to my survival.
I had to admit I was tempted but I was no brute. I would not claim her without her permission, that was for thugs like Markham.
The way she stared at me last night, the way her eyes fluttered and the way her body pressed against mine. It was rather....peculiar. I felt myself hardening even more from her touch that night and I could have sworn she wanted to mate right then and there but her body had other plans. The prospect that I would be attracted to her and that she would be attracted to me....it was an idea that was almost entirely outside the realm of possibility.
But was it possible?
I confess that I still had some reservations about the humans. The way they had treated me for that month had been....horrid and I was loathe to trust another one. Dr. Yelgrim was nice enough, he gave me food and showed a genuine interest in me but he was the only positive example, a light in an ocean of void. For some reason I got the same feeling when I looked at this girl but even more intense.
Nonetheless I still couldn't trust her completely. I had to take her to my supply pod and give her a way out of this mess, preferably with Markham's death but I could also give her a facial reconstruction, a new identity, wealth, hell I could even take her back home to the Zebrin star system.
But that was up to her wasn't it?
She shook in her sleep, apparently she had been through more trauma than I had accounted for. Her hands dance along the sheets, her body trembling, quivering while her eyes shut tighter. I tried to calm her, stroking her hair and letting her rest, but even my presence did very little.
"No, no." she muttered.
"I'm sorry, i'm so sorry." I said to her.
That need came up again, that need to grow closer to this strange human woman that I barely knew. From what the doctor told me she was training to be a doctor as well, he was quite proud of her. She didn't have many friends and men mostly avoided her but....I thought she was incredibly lovely.
I had never been that close to anyone in the last couple years of my life.
I thought about my friends back home, who they were, what they did, they would laugh if I told them a rogue asteroid hit my ship and sent me careening into this planet that I had come to scout out, hoping to eke out some sort of fortune where the Trezodians have failed. There weren't many of them here but what little there were had already tried to drain this planet for their own gain.
And there was one in particular that I had a particular hatred for.
Ezriel towered even above me, he had a carapace, an exoskeleton that was all but bulletproof, he had the strength to break any man in his grasp. From what I understood he was the Trezodian's best soldier, feared across the galaxy as a sadistic psychopath who would stop at nothing to see his employer's happy and his bloodthirst quenched.
He would not be so easy to defeat, even if I had the weaponry I would need something much larger to kill him, if it came down to that of course.
Back home I would have no such fears, everyone there was equal, even rats that grew up in the slums like I did.
The more I looked at her the more I felt this strange longing, for home, for comfort, for a family. Her head rests on the pillow and her eyelashes fluttered, she was stirring, about to wake soon I would presume. My home on Dharna was nothing, a simple shack that I stayed on in between contracts, watching her gave me hope that I could earn a better existence, but I had already surmised how that would be impossible. I would get back on my ship and head for another star system to find my fortune, I would bother her no longer.
"W-where?" she muttered as her eyes fluttered open, those green orbs locked with mine and the breath left my throat.
She was beautiful.
"Penelope?" I asked her, leaning over with my eyes glued to her face, my hands stroking her cheek as she reached up rather weakly and stroked my hand.
"I.....oh my god." she said and sprung up, shaking.
"It's okay, they're all dead." I informed her, my steeled expression washing over my face, couldn't let this human get too close, no matter how strange she made me feel. That same look that had been beaten and shot into me through years on the streets of Dharna, it overcame me once more.
"I'm....." she muttered, sitting up and wiping her eyes leaning against the metal interior, tears threatened to splash out once more and I frowned.
"I'm Kelian, the alien that your father.....was "working" on." I sighed, my hands resting on my lap, she hugged her knees, she was still nude so her curves pressed together and her breasts rubbed her thighs.
I felt the strong urge to take her right then and there.
"You know my name." she stated, apparently she had heard me clearly when she woke up, I thought that she was still out of it somewhat.
"I do....your father was somewhat of a friend." I said.
"For all the good that it did me." she spat.
"You're angry?" I asked her and she sighed.
"No....not at you. I can't be angry at you, not after what they did to you." she said. She seemed to be over it but was still hesitant to share details with me, poor girl had been through the wringer.
"Are you alright?" I asked her, changing the subject, not wanting to think back on the torture that I had endured.
"Yeah...they didn't do anything to me." she said.
"I'm sorry I didn't get there sooner, you shouldn't have been there." I said.
".....You're sorry?" she asked me, it almost sounded like she was offended that I even dared to apologize.
"I know that I go-" I began but she cut me off.
"This isn't your fault, they started all of this." she said.
"But I got your father killed...." I trailed off, the light in her eyes dimmed and she looked down.
"What he did was his initiative.....I should be angry with you, irrationally angry, but for some reason when I look at that body and look at what they did I can't find the energy to even get a little frustrated." she morosely mumbled.
Ah so it was pity.
"Nonetheless....I should have done a better job." I said.
We sit there in silence for a while, I wait for her to collect her thoughts, I know that she would need time before I sprung the idea of going across the continent to a massive swath of coast, to a pod that might not even still be there, I know the idea sounded preposterous so I had to wait for her.
"I can't believe it all...." she cried, hugging her knees tightly, sobbing the pain away. I reached out to stroke her cheek but hesitated, she needed this time to herself, all I could do was sit here and comfort her.
"I'm sorry, i'm so sorry." I said to her.
Over the next hour she calms down, the back door was open and the sunlight fluttered in, her legs were still bundled underneath those sheets. I had managed to drive the car to a more secluded spot away from the warehouse with what little driving skill I had. The guns that I stripped from their bodies were hidden in a compartment in the front. She hugged her legs and her eyes shut, her body quivering while the cool morning air washed over us both, there was a brook nearby and the sounds of its movements filled our ears.
I thought about what laid in between those legs, those globe
s on her chest, I wanted to love and fill her but Ithyrian's had honor where Trezodian's did not. I would wait to see if she would accept a proposition, if a human could even pleasure an Ithyrian that is, let alone mate.
Could she be the one?
My planet was destroyed, what little Ithyrians there were, were scattered across the galaxy. I knew no compatible women from all of the members of our species, perhaps this was a sign, a chance at something better. I was still unsure, it was never written that an Ithyrian could mate with another species, I think my body was just going haywire.
"Where are you from?" she asked me, wiping the tears from her cheek.
"Zebrin Star System, originally from Ithyria but that blew up." I told her.
"Are you a soldier? A scout? I knew there were other species out there but only the Trezodian's made contact." she said.
"I came here seeking work, i'm more of a....how would humans say this? A jack of all trades." I told her, she nodded.
"Well.....you certainly moved like a warrior." she said.
"Thank you." I said.
"Your planet blew up?" she asked me, I nodded once more.
"It did, a long time ago when I was young, I don't remember much about it to be honest." I told her, her eyes fluttering over the sheets and her lips pouting.
"What will you do now? Don't you have to go home?" she asked.

Penny
"That's up to you really." he told me.
When I woke up and saw him an instant wave of warmth and comfort washed over me. My eyes locked with his, those golden orbs gripping mine, holding me in this gaze that I didn't want to end. His muscles, that ironclad torso tensed as I spoke to him. I bite my lip and gazed at his crotch, only to find the fabric hiding it once more. He was as handsome in the sun as he was in the moon, those horns that glitter in the moonlight held a dull grey shade now, but they had a certain charm to them. His golden eyes appeared almost orange, his grey skin shone in the sun, a wave of white light washing over his body while he leaned against the wall and stared at me.
I was a bit hesitant at first, I didn't know what to say to a man that had been tortured by members of my species for so long. When he told me that he was sorry I almost wanted to laugh and hug him, he did nothing wrong in my opinion, even if his presence indirectly caused dad to....die. I knew that he was just an unwitting pawn, I felt some sort of kinship with him for that, a person dragged into these affairs.
And on top of that....god he was drop dead gorgeous.
"Up to me?" I asked him.
"Yeah." he told me, his black stubble shifting over his grey skin as he spoke, those lips looked so succulent, I wanted to lean in and press myself against his body. I wanted to run my fingers along those abs and tear those pants off to see that bulging member that inevitably hung there. That massive cock that he could stuff inside of me and fill me with, I imagined all of that se-
"Yeah it's up to you." he said, bring me back to reality.
"Well....I know I can't just go home." I muttered and he nodded.
"That you can't do. They probably have cameras all over your house right now." he told me and I nodded.
"I thought so....." I muttered.
"Do you have any friends that they might try and target?" he asked me and I nodded.
"Hannah, maybe. She lives in Arlington now." I told him.
"And you want to see her?" he asked me.
"No, we haven't talked in a while. I don't really have anyone else, no boyfriend, nothing." I told him and his eyes lit up when I told him that I didn't have a boyfriend, I might have been imagining it but it brought a bit of warmth to my heart.
"Would you like to call anybody? Now's your chance." he said, pointing at the bodies.
"Won't they be able to track us?" I asked him.
"I think I can break their signal long enough to let you get one call in." I said.
"Well....tell me what your proposition is first. I don't know how to get out of this and you seem to be a bit more knowledgeable than I am." I said.
"I suggest you come with me. I have to find my emergency supply pod. It launched off from my ship prior to my crash so they shouldn’t have found it. There I can fix up something that will get me off this planet and at least kill the men trying to hunt us both." he spoke loudly, almost like a general commanding his soldiers.
"And where is this pod?" I asked, expecting something outlandish like Antarctica.
"The western coast of the United States." he said.
"Oh....." I muttered, that was much closer than I thought it would be.
"Is there something wrong with that?" he asked me, concerned.
"No, no, that's not far at all." I said.
"So.....what will it be then?" he asked me, I sighed and glanced at my hands.
There was no way out of this from my standpoint, I don't know how many enemies my dad had made from freeing Kelian and I wasn't about to test it. The man sitting across from me seemed strong, he seemed honest, he seemed powerful enough to stop whatever was happening from happening. I trusted him....as crazy as that sounded, his presence helped me feel a bit better about the whole thing. There was no way if I turned him down that I would survive, I was sure of that already, hell I can barely take care of myself without soldiers hunting me at this point, I needed all the help that I could get.
But then there was the prospect of leaving all of this behind for a couple of days, I don't even know if we could find this pod and if he would even be able to fix it. What if they claimed that too?
"How do you know they already don't have it? I asked him.
"You mean if they seized it already?" he asked me and I nodded.
"Yeah that." I stated, he sighed and rubbed the top of his head.
"Well to be honest there are certain protocols to dissuade such discoveries but.....I can't guarantee that we'll find it, we likely will but it's our best chance. I can't kill these men without my tech." he said.
"What will you do after all of it? You'll get off this planet?" I asked him and he nodded.
"That's right." he said.
"And i'll be able to go back to my normal life after? I'll be able to go back home to my friends?" I asked him, trying to fool myself into thinking that I had a nice life back home when I clearly didn't, he seemed to buy the idea.
"Yes you will." he said, his tone suddenly getting a bit morose, a bit lethargic.
"Then.....I accept, just let me call first." I said and he nodded.
"Alright then." he said, grabbing this device out of the glove compartment and hooking it up to one of the phones that the men had.
"You have five minutes." he said to me and I quickly dialed Hannah's number.
Moments later she picked up.
"Hello?" she muttered.
"Hannah? It's Penny. Are you alright?" I asked her.
"Uhhh yeah? What's going on? Is something wrong?" she asked.
"Nothing it's just.....be on the lookout for anything weird alright?" I said.
"Penny what's wrong? You haven't called for weeks." she said.
"I know I haven't, I have to go on a trip for a couple of days. People are after me Hannah, just be on the lookout alright?" I asked her.
"What's going on?! What do you mean people are after you?! You don't' call me for weeks and suddenly you tell me this? What's going on?" she asked in a worried tone.
"Look I....I can't talk right now. I need you to be careful alright, be safe." I said, stumbling over my words.
"Just tell me what's wrong and i'll come and get you!" she said.
"You can't alright? Just be safe." I said, shutting off the phone before she could say another word, 30 seconds, maybe the last 30 seconds I would have with the last person important to me in any way.
"I'm done." I said, handing the phone over to him.
"You sure you're done?" he asked and I nodded.
"Yeah i'm done, that's all I nee
ded to say." he told me, his glance sideways.
"No family? Nothing?" he asked.
"No I don't have anyone alright?!" I snapped before realizing that I had gotten mad over his innocent question.
"Sorry...." I said, getting out of these sheets and standing up outside, glancing at the sun, staring at the small brook that he had parked next to.
"It's going to be a long trip so we'll need supplies." he said, grabbing the roof of the car and jumping out of the van.
"Yeah, I think I might need new clothes." I remarked sarcastically while staring at the rags on my body at this point, they hung from strips.
"I managed to steal some for you to use but i'm unsure if...." he said, holding up these clothes that clearly belonged to another woman.
"Where did you get these!?" I shrieked, my eyes widening.
"A nearby house while you slept." he said.
"I uhh....you can't do that here alright?" I asked him, it felt wrong even if we were technically on the run, he raised an eyebrow but didn't protest.
"It's fine, we have money." he said, there was a pile of wallets in the corner of the van that he had clearly gotten from the bodies of the men that he had killed.
"Well.....I guess we have to make a couple stops before we go, I know a spot." I said, staring at the wallets as he fished the cash out, there was more than enough to get us across the country, that much I was sure of.
"You'll be driving." he said, lifting a pair of keys over to me, I grabbed them and looked at him in a shocked manner.
"You don't know? How did you drive away then?" I asked him.
"Trust me I almost crashed, i'm still unfamiliar with the way you humans work, so until then you'll have to drive to prevent suspicion. We're also going to need a new car." he said.
"I....alright let's go then." I said, grabbing the clothes and stepping off to the side, he stood there, staring at me before I shot him a look and he remembered and turned away.
To be honest his ignorance was pretty endearing...not to mention cute.
Cute. That wasn't a word people used to describe a man that killed a squad of elite soldiers in a manner of moments.
