  “You like that, pretty girl?”

He caressed his face against my inner thigh, and the tickling sensation shifted to a craving that took control of my body. I writhed closer to him. His hands abandoned my breasts. Noah shoved the flimsy lace covering my sex to the side. “I missed your sweetness. I’m going to spend the rest of my life, which is now a long fucking time, worshipping it. Has it missed me?”

I moaned a “Yes” as he pressed a tender kiss to me. My legs fell open in invitation, and he accepted, thrusting his tongue in and out of me and hitting my pulsing clit. I cried out, resisting the urge to clamp my legs against his head and hold him there all night. There was no need for force, because he was in no hurry, which he demonstrated by lapping at me with slow, deliberate strokes. How had I survived without his touch this past year? I’d almost started to forget what it was like. Ecstasy curled down my spine when his tongue started to hit not only my clit, but also inside of me at the same time.

Some vampires had forked tongues when their fangs were extended.

Evidently, Noah was one of them.

I’d never thought of the sexual connotations that came with that, but holy fuck, did it feel like I’d found the holy grail as Noah used the two sides, adding in his finger for good measure.

A girl couldn’t come back from this.

I planned to tell him so when… My thoughts fell away as he hooked his finger inside me, discovering uncharted territory. I never wanted him to stop. My limbs tensed, clinging to the edge, disinclined to fall over it. This was the man I loved. This was the man I wanted to spend forever with, no matter what it took.

The thought nearly annihilated me, but I gripped the sheets and hung on. I willed time to stop, but it sped up as his skillful tongue pushed me closer to the brink, the two ends continuing to drive me wild. He milked me, massaging the spot with increasing urgency as his mouth closed over my clit with bursts of suction that liquefied the last of my body’s stubborn resistance. I dissolved into quivers and spasms as the most powerful orgasm of my life rocked through me.

My body still quaked as he scooped me against him and flipped me over so that I covered him. His thumb caught my chin, directing my eyes to his and guiding me back to him through the hazy bliss permeating my brain.

“I want you to ride me,” he ordered. “I want to watch as I slip inside your body.”

I ignored the sensitive soreness thrumming between my legs and knelt over him. Lowering carefully, I impaled myself on him inch by inch, my body stretching to accommodate his considerable girth. I gasped as he slipped fully inside of me. It felt like he’d become a part of me just then. I never wanted him to leave. I wanted more. I wanted all of him.

My hips rolled, and then I lifted my ass and slammed back down, almost coming just from the look of euphoria on his face as he watched himself go in and out of me.

His fingers dug into the flesh of my hips, encouraging me as I fucked him. Rocking slowly, I lifted up again. I leaned back, gripping the sheets as I savored the sensation of gliding up and down him.

“Let go,” he commanded. “Show me how beautiful you are when you come undone.”

I unraveled over him, baring myself to him as promises spilled from my lips. I was his. I was theirs. Forever.

I needed him to know that, but pleasure washed away my words and I was pulled out by his powerful current, drowning in our love. We collapsed together, limbs entwined, neither willing to tear their eyes from the other.

We’d fought for our love in the past, and we’d continue to do it in the future. We’d bury the ghosts of our pasts, even if I still had so many questions.

I pressed my face to his throat, counting the beats of his heart—my heart in his body. And in the privacy of the bed, he lifted my chin and brushed his lips against mine with a kiss so sweet and perfect that a tear fell down my cheek, this one because I was so freaking happy in that moment.

“I’m never leaving your side again,” he whispered. “Forever.”

The words stole my breath. They were raw and real, and he meant them.

I clung to his words as I clung to him, knowing there were rough skies ahead.

  Forever.

We stayed wrapped around each other for at least another hour, until I heard my phone buzzing again, reminding me of my responsibilities.

“I still have to go,” I told Noah reluctantly, watching in fascination as the fire in his eyes faded, leaving cool emerald stones in their place.

“I’m going with you,” he said firmly. “I’m pretty sure we just discussed this.”

A ridiculous smile was plastered across my face. It felt like it was literally stretching from ear to ear. I probably looked like a clown, but I didn’t care.

I didn’t fucking care one bit.

“Ok, you can pretend to be some slutty fraternity bro that has the hots for me tonight.”

“Have sex twice, and you want to do role-play? I’m game.” He grinned at me, his smile wild and hot, and I wanted him…again.

I rolled my eyes, amused, and then got off my bed and dug through my bag, picking out more clothes to wear since my shirt had been ruined.

Noah watched me from the bed, his gaze running over every inch of my skin, sending sparks along my veins.

I forced myself to finish dressing and grabbed my phone to see who had called me earlier. It was Tanya.

I called her back, watching Noah as he slid off the bed and walked over to the closet, his perfect ass flexing as he moved.

I put my fist against my mouth to hold in my groan.

“Morgan? Morgan!” she screeched through the speakerphone. I winced as the sound threatened to burst my eardrums.

Noah peeked his head out of the closet, grimacing at the sound, but Ryan and Wyatt came bursting through the door, fangs extended like they were under attack.

I rolled my eyes and pointed to my phone, and they stopped abruptly, clearly embarrassed.

  “Hey there.”

“Oh my gosh. I’ve been worried sick all day. That guy that was in the room with us, he was freaking murdered. I was worried you’d been murdered too…”

She rattled on about the murder, and my mind drifted off to the night before, wondering why I didn’t feel anything about Jason’s death.

“Anyway, there’s a party at Sigma Chi tonight in honor of him. We have to go. Everyone is going to be there!”

My interest piqued at the mention of a party. Maybe the rogue vamp would make an appearance tonight. I would actually be paying attention this time.

Noah strolled out of the closet, a black Henley plastered to his chest.

Let me amend that. I would kind of be paying attention tonight.

With a promise that I would meet her there, I hung up and turned to face the guys.

It was amazing what a little sex could do for a girl. Ryan and Wyatt should thank Noah. I wasn’t even mad anymore.

Don’t get me wrong, we still had a lot to go over…a lot to discuss. But it could wait.

I’d been mourning for a year. Maybe I could let myself just be there in this moment, savoring the fact that they were back. At least for a little bit.

“Want to give it the ole college try?” I asked them with a smirk.

Ryan and Wyatt’s faces lit up, obviously catching my mood, and they both nodded eagerly. Noah sauntered over and put his arms around my waist, pulling me close to him so that I was pressed against every perfect ridge and dip of his muscles. For the first time, it felt like no time had passed, Ryan and Wyatt’s gazes becoming heated as Noah ran his perfect hands along my body while they both watched eagerly.

I stood there for a moment, savoring the powerful feeling I got from their lust…and then my phone buzzed again, ruining the moment.

It was Janie, asking if I had a plan for tonight. Reality check.

I headed back to campus with Noah, since we’d decided that the other two would meet us at the party. It would bring too much attention if I w
alked in with the three of them. Noah was going to slip into the frat house right before me, and he was refusing to leave me for a second before that.

Noah and I walked around campus. We pretended to be keeping an eye out for anything suspicious, but really, we were just enjoying being with each other. The only thing that would have made it better were if Ryan and Wyatt were with us.

I could feel them watching us though, their gazes caressing my skin from the shadows. It was nice to know that I wasn’t going crazy anymore.

It was finally time to meet up with Tanya and walk over to the party. Noah slipped away, and I already missed him.

Tanya threw her arms around me like I’d just come back from war. We proceeded to walk to the party on frat row, and she talked my ear off about all the rumors flying around campus. Evidently, no one thought it was strange to attend another college party right now. Tanya had heard that half the campus was going to be there tonight.

We walked in the front doors of the frat, a bored-looking group of frat brothers waving us in over the protests of the line forming around the building. The temperature rose at least ten degrees as we walked in, people covering every square inch. I longed for the cool touch of the guys’ skin as sweat trickled down my spine.

I could feel their eyes almost immediately. I surreptitiously looked around for them, not wanting to come across as desperate, despite the fact that I was desperate…for them.

Tanya disappeared almost immediately to chase some “hot tail,” her words not mine. She was the worst wingwoman in the history of the world.

I felt like a mouse being chased by a cat as I wandered through the room, pretending to sip the stale beer in my red Solo cup. A few guys tried to talk to me, and I quickly got away from them, taking Wyatt’s warning seriously.

I was walking around a corner when a pair of arms suddenly grabbed me. I didn’t even flinch, the spicy orange scent overwhelming my senses.

“I’m so glad I can do this now and I don’t have to watch,” he murmured against my skin. A trickle of annoyance hit me then, thinking once again of them watching me but never talking to me…but I pushed it away for another day.

  “Where are the others?”

“Annoyed they lost rock paper scissors.”

I giggled. “That’s still how you guys decide things?”

  “Always.”

The word once again sent shivers down my spine.

My phone buzzed. Frowning, I pulled it out to look at it. I’d told Thomas what my plan was, and he usually didn’t bother me when I was actively working.

  It was Tanya.

Meet me in the back. Drunk.

I sighed and rolled my eyes as I showed Wyatt the text.

“Let’s go get her and then keep looking around. It’s only been an hour,” I groaned, considering leaving her out there, since she’d left me two nights in a row.

I dragged myself out there, Wyatt’s arm firm against my waist.

The backyard of the frat backed up to the forest that surrounded half of campus. It was strangely quiet, considering the raging party that was taking place inside. I would have thought that the party would have spilled out here as well. It was beyond capacity in there.

I didn’t see Tanya anywhere. Frowning, I pulled out my phone to text her, when there was a rustling up ahead.

Peering into the shadows, I held in a shriek as something fell to the ground in front of me. Taking a hesitant step closer, I grimaced when I saw that it was Tanya, her eyes staring unseeingly up at the sky, her neck ripped open. Dark blood gushed from her wounds.

A mahogany haired man with sparkling hazel eyes stepped over her body, out of the shadows… A man who possessed the same unearthly beauty that all vampires possessed. He smirked at me as he licked blood off his fingers before pulling a cloth napkin out of his pocket and delicately dabbing at the blood smeared all over his mouth, like he was wiping off soup at a fucking garden party.

“I couldn’t resist meeting the beautiful little slayer I’d heard was on campus.” He grinned.

“I’ve been looking for you,” I told him, ignoring his insinuation that someone had found me out.

Wyatt stepped forward, his fangs extended, and I held up my hand.

This was my chance to show him and the others how much I’d grown…that I was a force to be reckoned with now. Wyatt stepped back and gestured at the vampire with a flourish. I winked at him, thinking he was going to get so lucky later.

The vampire snorted, bringing my attention back to him. I pulled up my dress and grabbed the stake I’d put in the holster around my thigh. I rubbed my fingers along the wood and settled myself into a fighting stance, trying to keep my breathing calm, even as my adrenaline spiked through me. Nice and easy. I could do this. Just another vampire.

I could have spun towards him and taken him by surprise, but I wanted to have more of a fight to show off my skills. I let him circle closer, feinting a move to the left and a half-hearted lunge to his right that got me a solid punch in my shoulder for my efforts. A dull pain shot down my arm, and I grinned savagely. I could see uncertainty building in his gaze at my reaction.

I rolled my neck from side to side. The vamp threw a fist at my jaw, and I punched him in the diaphragm in return before twirling away and using the force of his last strike to punch him in the kidneys. He snarled from the hit, grabbing his waist in pain. I feinted a stumble backwards as he spun and landed a fist to my stomach, followed by a hit to the side of my head that had me seeing stars.

All right, that last one had hurt. Time was up. I wasn’t interested in getting any more hits. I rounded with a side kick to his upper chest and followed through with a roundhouse to his head. He stumbled, on purpose I thought, and then recovered quickly with a pounce.

The vampire came at me with his fangs down, his hazel eyes completely black. I swiped out with my right hand, landing a gash with my stake, at least an inch deep, into the side of his arm. He growled, a nasty high-pitched sound of pain, and sprang off against a tree to land on top of me in a flash.

We tumbled for a few feet, and my back hit the grass, a few rocks digging into my back. I grunted with pain and had to grit my teeth from the hurt. I was bleeding, and I watched in delight as the vampire caught the smell of it.

I flipped him and rolled him over onto his back, taking him by surprise. I raised the stake I’d still been gripping, and his arm came up and blocked my downward strike before he peeled me off his body and tossed me like I weighed nothing.

I jumped to my feet instantly and spun back towards his side. He opened his mouth to say some smart comment, but my stake slashed down the front of his chest, baring the muscle and tendons beneath. He screamed, a horrible frightening sound. Not letting up for a second, I smiled and slashed again at him, running the stake down the side of his thigh.

He collapsed to one knee. His breath was ragged as he growled and then spat some blood out of the side of his mouth, before flying at me once again. I dropped to the ground on my back and as he flew over top of where I lay, then I thrust my stake up into his heart. The dust drifted around me softly, like a doomsday snowfall. I let out an exhale of relief.

A slow clap filled the air, and I turned my head to see Ryan and Noah walking up to join Wyatt. Their gazes were a mixture of surprise and lust, and I smirked at them.

“I didn’t think you could get hotter,” commented Wyatt. He’d put his lip ring back in for the party, and I fantasized for a second about sucking on it as I sucked on his lips.

Ryan walked right past Wyatt, not stopping once as he scooped me up in his arms and began to run.

“I’ve been patient while these two idiots got you first. But now it’s my turn. I want to taste you,” he whispered as he dragged the tips of his fangs down my neck. My pulse fluttered frantically.

“Can I taste you, sweetheart?” He wasn’t talking about tasting my flesh…although I was certain he was interested in that as well. He was talking about my blood.

  The
world blurred around me as he took off. It seemed like only a few seconds had passed by until we were standing at the front door of the mansion that they were renting with money Morgana gave them.

For a minute, I grimaced at the imagery until we reached a bedroom I hadn’t seen earlier. I was about to fuck my man in a bed Morgana was paying for. The thought made me smile wickedly.

“I want it. I need it more than anything. I crave it.” He sat me down. His voice was a moan in my ears, and my legs trembled and threatened to fail me as lust overtook my senses.

  My blood. Right.

  “Will you let me?”

“Yes,” I gasped out desperately. “Yes. Please.”

Before I could change my mind or even have another thought, he struck, his fangs sinking into the flesh in between my neck and my shoulder. He held me against him as my legs followed through on their threat.

He groaned as he tasted me. I could feel my life energy leaving me.

  It was exquisite.

  Pleasure like I’d never imagined.

Now I knew why their victims didn’t struggle, why they gladly let themselves be bled dry. Because if death felt like this, who cared about life?

  Or something like that.

I fell over the cliff almost instantly. And then the orgasms kept coming. Every sip of my blood seemed to have a direct line to my clit.

Ryan had just withdrawn his fangs out of me when a loud peal of a bell rang through the room. I flinched, swaying unsteadily from the blood loss.

  “I’m not stopping,” Ryan muttered.

The bell rang again. And then again.

Whoever it was, they weren’t going away.

Cursing, Ryan left the room with a promise that he’d be right back.

  I waited. And I waited.

Unease curled in my gut as time stretched on. I finally decided to go find out what was going on.

I walked down a few hallways until I finally reached the door. Ryan, Noah, and Wyatt were faced off with five other men that I instantly recognized as vampires.

One of them, a gorgeous ebony-skinned vamp with blinding white teeth spotted me over the guys’ shoulders. He flashed a feral grin.
