She felt a smile stretch her lips before his tongue stroked the seam of her pussy making her hips punch up wanting to get closer to him.
“Taste good too.” He stroked her pussy again with his tongue getting a deeper taste before his fingers went up to play with her clit.
Lifting his head, he smiled at her before he took her clit into his mouth sucking on it as she thrust her hips up looking for relief.
“Not yet.” He pulled away. “I’ll be back,” he whispered sucking on her clit one last time before he crawled up her body.
She looked at the heat in his eyes knowing she wanted him deep inside her.
“Nadia?”
Sweet dragon. “Yes, please yes.”
Her legs drifted open wider as he settled himself between them never breaking eye contact with her. She sighed because she knew who he was, what he was and she wanted this more than anything she could think of at that moment.
His fingers went down and stroked her before the head of his cock moved through her folds teasing her, enticing her but not filling her.
“Stop playing,” her voice was husky with need.
“Who said I was playing?” He stroked her again making her hips thrust upward as she sought his cock out.
“Naughty dragon mate,” he groaned out as her pussy made contact with his cock.
He moved his hips and placed the head of his cock at her entrance.
“Nadia,” he whispered her name as he thrust downward.
“Yes.” It was drawn out of her throat as she felt the head inside of her. He was thick pushing against the folds of her pussy hitting the sides and making her want to thrust up and take him all at once. He continued slowly making sure she was able to take all of him.
Her breathing came out in ragged moans by the time he came to a halt. Her chest was rising and falling quickly; her pussy was stretched wide as she ground against him.
Maceo, he came into her life and now he was changing it, making her want more than she thought she had a right to.
It was the rising of his hips accompanied by the first thrust that stopped her from thinking. Now all she could do was feel. She met his downward thrust with an upward thrust allowing her needs to come out. No more holding herself back, she moved with him, crying out her passion her desire every time he pushed into her. He was taking her higher. His body losing control and he pounded into her, and she begged for more as her fingers held onto him and her pussy tightened around him.
“Come for me baby,” he whispered into her ear as his strokes picked up.
A gasp came out of her mouth as the ball in her stomach of pure desire expanded until it burst moving through her body until she was screaming. Her legs wrapped around him as her body soared high. His gave one final stroke, and his yell of satisfaction joined hers. He rolled them onto their sides, she snuggled up close to him and closed her eyes.
Chapter Fourteen
Nadia opened her eyes missing the warmth of Maceo’s body. Waking up alone gave her pause after what they had done earlier. He woke her up several times with a light caress to her arm and a sexy smile that led them to another round of mind-blowing sex. She looked around for her clothes; they were on the floor she stood just as the door opened.
A blush heated her cheeks while she hoped he wouldn’t notice it because of her darker skin color. He closed the door behind him and leaned against it as he raked her from head to foot. There was no hiding now, and since she was standing like a deer caught in headlights, she notched her chin high and let him look his fill.
“I thought you were gorgeous, but I was wrong your magnificent.” He pushed off the door and came to stand in front of her. His hand caressed the side of her face before he pulled her into his arms and kissed her deeply. He stepped back with a look of regret on his face.
“I wish we could spend another night here.”
“Night?”
He nodded. “We slept through the night. The rain has stopped and the day is breaking. We need to look for a door out of here if you can walk.”
Nadia looked down at her ankle she had forgotten all about it. It didn’t even give her a twinge of pain, and she was standing on it.
“The ankle is good. How are we going to get out of here?” She went to pick up her clothes, but he beat her to them. He handed them over and then backed up looking at her again with a look of lust that was turning her on.
“I don’t know, but we can’t stay here. The demons will be coming after us and the protective barrier we put up won’t last much longer. Also, we’ll need to eat soon. You can only expend so much energy without replenishing yourself.”
The thought of the steaks they had eaten made her stomach gurgle with hunger. Demon deer was okay but not what she wanted. She nodded slipping her clothes on so she could head towards the bathroom for a little privacy.
What was last night to her? She remembered him waking her up several times, and she hadn’t said no. Was it the spring break she never got? Huh, she was still upset over that one. Maybe it was the one night of blazing passion she thought she should have in her life before she settled down to reality. Hadn’t she already settled down to reality when she started her business and worked day and night to make it a success?
Look where she was, the demon plane. This was as far away from settled and reality as it could get. She had a shadow after her, demons that wanted to eat her and two dragon brothers protecting her. One of those dragons claimed her as his mate, and she wasn’t very interested in fighting him about it.
He was right they needed to get out of here, once they were back on the human plane, her life and her priorities would be reestablished. She took a quick shower with the few drops of water that were available. Dragons senses were acute, and well she didn’t want to advertise to Zeno what she and Maceo had spent the night doing. A blush took over her face again as she remembered just how loud they had been.
Dressing quickly, she walked out the door trying to look like nothing was amiss.
Zeno took one look at her, gave her a smile and a wink. So much for acting like nothing had happened last night. She walked over to the door and joined them.
“What’s happening?” She looked out the door unable to see anything but she their senses were greater than hers.
“Right now no one is around,” Zeno told her.
“Most of the demons are asleep, but there are a few who I think are waiting for us. As soon as we leave the protective barrier, they will begin to stalk us.”
“Why can’t we stay here?” She took a good look outside. There was only a smattering of light even though dawn had already come. The land looked bleak, and she could still remember that tree root around her ankle.
“Once the barrier fails we’ll be sitting ducks for them to pick off. Our best chance is to run.”
She gritted her teeth together, they were right but running blind didn’t appeal to her.
“Couldn’t we try to gain some more of my power maybe it could open the door home for us.” They needed a better plan maybe that one would work.
Maceo looked at her thoughtfully before the ground shook. It felt like the demon plane had come alive. The little bit of light there was had dwindled to nothing and a cheer went up.
“What’s going on?” Her voice trembled a little as she edged closer to Maceo.
“We need to leave Mutufa is here.”
She nodded her head squaring her shoulders they would find a way out of here she wouldn’t consider the alternative.
“Let’s go.”
“I’ll go first.” Zeno was already half way across the empty field before his body began to change.
“He’ll provide fire for us if needed. I’ll change, and then I need you to mount my back as fast as possible.”
“Go, I’ll be right behind you.”
He leaned over and gave her a swift kiss before he was jogging out into the field that Zeno had just left behind as he headed towards the sky. A haze covered his body and then he was c
hanging, shifting growing until a huge dragon stood there waiting. Wasting no time, she ran out to meet him. She climbed on his back a little easier still almost falling off in her rush to mount him.
“Take your time, mate. If you get hurt, we aren’t going anywhere.”
A smile touched her lips as she got on his back making sure she was holding on tight.
“I’m ready.”
He beat his massive wings taking them from the ground to the air. The higher they went, the darker it became. Now she was holding on tightly hoping he could see because she was almost blind, but her ears worked perfectly. She could hear the grunts and the taunts as the demons came from all directions calling out to Mutufa broadcasting their location.
The world went from pitch black to a gray covered landscape that allowed her to breathe easy for a minute until she caught the shadow that was moving to her left.
“Maceo to the left,” she called out a warning. She was sure it didn’t matter if she spoke. The other demons already had them in their sights.
“I see him, love.”
She looked to the right to see that Zeno was slightly in front of them. A stream of fire came from him as he laid down a field in front of them. He’s protecting me; she realized they both were.
“Dragons,” Mutufa said with such glee as his voice raked down her back. “So nice of you to come for a visit and bring the one person I’ve been looking for. Give her to me, and you can take this door back to your world.”
An open door appeared in front of them it looked like it led to Alexa’s front porch. The sight of home, reality, sanity mesmerized her. That’s where she wanted to be if only she could find a way to make it through that door. It was so close she could almost throw herself from Maceo’s back and be there.
“Nadia,” his voice reached out to caress her, wrap itself around her. “It’s a trick baby, an illusion; he wants you dead. Mutufa is never going to willingly let us leave with or without you. I’m never going to agree to go anywhere without you.”
A black wave of lightning came at them that had Maceo turning over in a spinning dive that was taking them toward the ground. Nadia screamed wondering if death was imminent before he was able to pull out of the spiral and straighten up.
“You’re on my plane now.” Mutufa’s formed changed; it was now large against the background of the gray sky. He expanded and shrunk and pulled at himself until he became a large black dragon.
“Are you seeing this?” She was talking to herself as she watched in horror.
“Give me the female.” His voice boomed across the sky like thunder making the demons around him cower.
“Not in this lifetime or the next.” Maceo took them higher up stretching his wings as he tried to put distance between them and Mutufa.
How long did they have she wondered? Already they were weak, and the last fight with the demons didn’t help. Zeno turned around and laid down another layer of fire catching several of the demons in it, while Maceo laid fire in front of them.
Mutufa came from the side as they were fighting with the attacking demons he clawed Maceo’s flank making him lose concentration for a few minutes. Once again he was in free fall, but this time Mutufa tried to rip Nadia from his back leaving claw marks on her arms.
Zeno hit him from the side making him lose his grip on Nadia. Several of the demons that were with Mutufa jumped on his back clawing him as he broke off to try and shake them.
“Nadia?”
“I’m fine just a little shook. How are we going to get out of here?”
He didn’t answer. He was turning around going after Zeno who was fighting off a swarm of demons. Maceo’s fire shot out catching them. He refused to stop he spewed fire at them until they fell away from his brother in a smoking heap of lifeless bodies.
“Your fire doesn’t affect each other.” She said to herself a sense of awe in her voice. Then she realized that Zeno couldn’t do that for Maceo because she was on his back.
If she was gone would they be free? They could make it to safety she was sure of that the only thing holding them back was her. Was she selfish because she wanted to live another day?
“Come to me female, and I’ll let them live. You knew you were going to die when you defied me. That was your choice, not theirs, give them a fighting chance.”
He was right this was all her fault. She knew he was going to kill her but instead she ran. She reached out for help instead of accepting her fate. There was no way she could or would take Maceo and Zeno with her. Her hands loosened not holding onto Maceo as tightly as she should.
“Think Nadia,” his voice was laced with desperation. “No one deserves to die at Mutufa’s hand. Saving your best friend is something you get rewarded for, not die for. I love you, Nadia; please fight.”
Did he just say he loved her when she couldn’t hug him or cry or even beat him up for saying those words now? Did he love her or was it just the stress of the situation getting to him? She didn’t know, and maybe she didn’t care, but the possibility of love was worth holding onto life a bit longer. Her hands tightened.
He was coming in again making another run for her. Zeno was listing to the side from the damage he received from the demons. She could see Maceo’s blood seeping down his flank, and her arms were on fire from where Mutufa gouged her. They need a way out fast.
Chapter Fifteen
She slipped inside of herself the way Maceo taught her. There wasn’t time to admire what she saw around her; she ran to the door where she knew her power was hiding. When she walked in, there was nothing just a large cavernous space.
“I didn’t come to play with you today. In a few minutes, I’m going to die along with Maceo, Zeno and you. We are all going to die unless you help me. You don’t like it? Too bad, you won’t like death either. What are you going to do because I won’t spend my last minutes here arguing with you when I can spend them with Maceo.”
Nothing, no response, she turned and headed back to the door when she felt a sharp cut on the back of her hand. She looked down to find a bolt of lightning it was blue this time. She didn’t argue she grabbed it and ran until she was back at what she thought of as the portal. Soon she was aware of her body again.
“I have power, but this time it’s blue.”
Maceo’s head turned around to look at what she was holding in her hand. Why hadn’t she ever realized just how big he was. Just seeing him watch her made her feel small and insignificant.
“You continue to amaze me, Nadia. We can use that; it can pierce Mutufa’s hide. I don’t know how long it will give us, but it will be more time than we have now. I’m going to charge him. You need to let it go as close to his heart as possible.”
She laughed, what else could she do? “Fine that won’t be a problem at all.”
Just let it go when you're close to his heart. Except a dragon's heart was protected, there was a fine membrane over it that was tougher than steel. When Maceo had let her explore his dragons body she had run her hand over it while he explained that it was protected like that so it couldn’t be an easy kill spot.
She brought up her hand that held the blue lightning. Her palm was sweating, and her fingers ached from clutching it so hard.
“I hope you’re everything Maceo thinks you are.”
He banked hard right and then did a nice long leisurely turn like they were out for a moonlit stroll. Zeno came behind him spewing fire at any demon who was stupid enough to get too close. Her heart pounded as she watched him. In the past, Zeno had fought with the same joy and good nature he showed the world. Now he was deadly; there was no lightness around him, and he didn’t miss. The demons around them backed down as Maceo got closer to Mutufa.
A blast of fire came her way she could feel the heat long before the flames tried to engulf her. A shield was thrown up around her. She looked to see where it was coming from before she realized it was coming from within herself.
“A natural defense, one you should be able to do without
my help.”
Taming her power wasn’t going to be easy, but at least it had a vested interest in keeping her alive.
A scream of frustration came from Mutufa. She cringed as the sound raked her nerve endings. Dragons shouldn’t scream. Maceo got closer to him returning fire keeping him off balance. She rubbed his back letting him know she survived the first attack.
He pulled back taking them higher into the air; Mutufa was in a spiral making her hold her breath. She was so sure he was going to hit the ground before he leveled out. With a dark laugh, he raced upwards gaining altitude. He never stopped coming directly for them.
“It’s now or never Nadia; I can’t hold out for much longer.”
She nodded her head her eyes fixed on Mutufa and the one area close to his heart that looked the most vulnerable. Maceo’s wings beat against the sky taking them higher before he changed directions and began to dive going for Mutufa. His claws were out catching him across his back as he retreated before turning around to come at him again.
Mutufa went low flying under Maceo heading for Zeno; he raked his claws over his flank and the underside of his belly causing him to drop out of the air.
A yell of anguish left Maceo as he watched his brother fall.
“Now Maceo,” her voice stroked him bringing him back to the fight at hand. “I’m ready.”
He nodded and turned once again this time his body hunched up on himself. He flew aiming himself like a bolt of lightning at Mutufa not giving ground even as Mutufa came for him. He dropped low giving Mutufa a chance to rake him with his claws as he got Nadia close enough to his heart to aim her power at it.
His chest was almost in her face. It was large and covered with black scales that were barbed at the edges. If she got too close, they would cut her. Not worrying about what would happen to her she lifted her body up using her one hand to keep her balance and tilted forward. Her power looked like electric blue lightning in her hand. She shoved it forward feeling the barbs cutting her as she tried to drive it deeper into his chest.
