I’m deeply grateful to the following people for their advice, suggestions, and editing expertise: Frank and Carolyn Jordan (Grandpa and Grandma), Lynn Saye, Claire Fopeano, Jenn Moore, David Barker, Lyuba Johnson, and Melinda Pinto.

Thanks also to my fifth grade class at Morrison Academy and my Friends of Alasia for your invaluable feedback. I appreciate all the squeals of excitement, confused looks, suggestions, chuckles, groans and gasps that showed me what was worth keeping and what I needed to change.

Finally, I want to thank Floyd, my dear husband, who stuck with me through it all and pointed out problems I would never have seen otherwise. I couldn’t have done it without your support and encouragement.
