Paper Dolls [Book Two]

She burst out laughing, convulsing with all the energy. “No, you weirdo. You just loved me and if you loved me then there must be something to it. I must not be as horrible as I thought. Also, it was more of a Sleeping Beauty thing. With the kiss and the waking up.”
“Mmmmm,” I hummed, remembering. She was wrong though. She was being a typical dude.
“You were never horrible, you asshole,” I stared. I hated when she said that. It was bullshit, such a bullshit thing to think.
“It’s an easy hole to fall into when you have the predisposition and the circumstances.” She tugged at me. “Get up here. I need you.”
I felt her pulling me up and I followed, smiling as I fell into her and kissed her.
“Mmmm, you taste good,” she said, kissing me again.
“Right,” I teased, searching her beautiful face for any sense that I had relaxed her even a little.
She drew me closer and threw the comforter over us. “Can we just stay like this for the next week, please?”
“I’d have no complaints,” I said, searching her face. “I’m not so sure our parents are going to want us to go to school anyway given the circumstance. You should’ve seen my mom’s face when I told her it was Ben.” I pulled her hand up in mine and gently licked her fingertip just to tease.
“Yeah, probably not,” she grimaced. “I just hope I don’t have to do anything unfortunate tomorrow like talk to police or some crap like that.” She perked up and used her finger to part my lips. “If you’re going to do that, do it right. Not some half ass tease.” I bit down and licked the tip, keeping her from going further ‘cause I knew it would drive her mad.
I pulled her hand away.
“Excuse me?” I said. “You know, you really know how to hurt a girl?”
I nuzzled in close to her and licked the side of her neck painstakingly slow. “Don’t be mean to me,” I whispered. She was never mean.
I licked the bottom of her earlobe into my mouth and sucked, breathing loud enough so she could hear.
“Yes ma’am,” she said shivering. “I’ll do whatever you say if you don’t stop.”
“Fine,” I said slowly, pushing ontop of her and laying my body down onto hers.
I liked the feel of her below me, I always did. The way her muscles and bones felt on mine. The way my hands always seemed to reach for her face more than anything else. My legs on either side of one of hers as our hearts pounded against each other’s and I knew it was right.
I moved up to kiss her, starving her a bit.
She moved to meet my lips but I pulled mine away, pushing her back down and smiling.
“Why should I even be nice to you,” I teased.
I pulled my hair out of its ponytail and shook it out. She looked surprised at my words but she answered, “because I’m cute.”
I leaned back down and took her lips in mine and tasted her with my tongue, pulling her face up to better meet mine with a hand at her chin. “Don’t fuck with me,” I warned, holding my tongue away to tease before kissing her again.
How could she think she could ever be causing me pain?
She made me so happy.
It was stupid really.
I let myself kiss her slow, let myself feel how intense it was to get to have her like I wanted.
My body instantly woke up to her, places burning and yearning, sensitivity hitting me everywhere. When she let me have her and I could feel that she needed me too everything felt right.
I pulled away, trying to catch my breath.
She looked up at me, waiting. Always so delicate and careful. Always so loving.
I stared down at her in awe, my hair tumbling down all around me, my eyes never drinking her in quite enough. With Avery, I always seemed to be counting my stars.
Skylar had been right. Avery let me be the one…
“What?” Avery asked, noticing the way I’d changed.
“Nothing,” I said, a smile playing with me as my eyes slowly closed to accept it and I allowed myself to fall down into her and have her again.
It was far from nothing.
I just loved her…
That was all…
Words couldn’t do us justice.
I kissed her instead, taking time and care to feel everything stronger and linger more and remember what I had because she was everything to me now and that wasn’t about to ever change.
Her lips smiled into mine and she pulled my face in, trying to get me to go faster.
We had so much time, nothing but time, that filled me up inside, overwhelmed me in a good way. I felt aglow.
When she tugged, I resisted. When she tried to go fast I couldn’t have it. I forced her to slow, to take great care. We wrestled with pace, both wanting different things.
I loved our breathing, the way we sweat, the heat we produced, the way we smelled. Alone like this, we created a sort of cocoon where nothing else mattered and nothing was outside. I loved more than anything that when I touched her like this she could forget herself and calm down about everything else, everything that wasn’t about me, everything out there.
Here she was mine and she knew it. That was important.
I loved that and I took it. The way this felt I’d live my whole life trying to steal her away, every moment, every day...
