Princes of Hell MC Set

He’d grabbed her up and hauled her to his bike without a word.
She got on even as tears streamed down her cheeks. He then rode to the other side of town and stopped in front of the bus station. He dragged her to a ticket booth, paid to get her to the next state, gave her the 300 he had in his wallet. Then pulled her to the bus.
She had stopped just at the open bus door and turned to him.
He had said, “You saw nothing, you never saw me either. Get on and don’t come back.”
She still hadn’t spoken. He didn’t know if it was fear, shock or that she was a mute? At the time, he couldn’t care. But he’d never forgotten her face. He’d had a few women in his bed since then and all he ever wanted was for any of them to have her eyes, her sweet face.
He’d stepped back and watched the bus leave ten minutes later.
Yeah, that was stupid. To let a witness go. But he did not hurt women let alone kill one in cold blood.
“Psst!” Talon broke into the memory.
Falcon raised his head and looked over at the front of the mansion they were watching.
Sure enough, Devon’s ratty ass was scurrying into a car along with two gorillas, his body guards...these were the ones Falcon would take out when the time came.
Talon nodded at him. “We follow and if we can, we waylay them on the road. If too many are around, we wait till he stops.” He started his bike up and turned around leaving the alleyway.
Like a good enforcer, Falcon followed.
The car was driving fast and Falcon had to figure the man was in some kinda hurry. He snickered as they made another turn. Like his ass was on fire. He had to wonder what fire Talon had lit.
They followed him for a long way along the freeway for about 20 miles, and traffic was 5 o’clock thick. There were no chances to hit him on the way. This was better to Falcon anyway, as he didn’t want to do whatever they had to do in broad daylight.
They followed for miles and now the sun was dipping. Falcon smiled. Darkness hides the light of the deed you must fulfill. He liked old poetry and he always equated it with a favorite line from one of Poe’s. Shadowy—shadowy—yet unbroken, is a symbol and a token— How darkness hangs upon the trees, A mystery of mysteries.
Yeah, all the shit Falcon had to do in his job as an enforcer needed to remain a mystery that was fucking for sure.
Finally, after they turned their headlights on and kept a far distance back, the limo pulled into a rather old area. Old houses and small streets. What was the rat doing here? It wasn’t a bad neighborhood it was just old. Like one of the neighborhoods that Walmart and Target had forgotten so they never built here.
The vehicle cruised slowly down the streets like the driver was unsure of the address.
Falcon hoped it wasn’t because they had been spotted. He saw Talon slow way down as the same thought probably occurred to him too.
Finally, it parked.
Talon slowed his bike and turned the engine off, coasting it to a stop.
He did the same.
Talon looked around.
Yeah, Falcon thought the same thing.
They couldn’t make noise in this area. To dammed quiet with old people who called ambulances every time they had a heart attack here and the cops would show up in minutes.
They both watched the limo.
One of the huge gorillas got out and looked around, then he slowly nodded.
The other goon got out and waited for Devon who finally exited the car and scurried up the walk, his bulky guards trying to keep up with his rushing.
Getting off their bikes, they both moved quietly along the sidewalk now that the bodyguards weren’t looking.
Devon knocked on the door of the old house.
Talon got as close as he could and Falcon stood next to him behind a tree.
The door opened.
They squinted their eyes to see who was standing there. It was a female, but they couldn’t see her face. She looked like a small, older woman. Big surprise right?
Devon literally pushed his way in and the guards followed.
The door shut.
Talon let out a long breath. “Dammit,” he whispered. “Who the fuck are they visiting?”
“Didn’t look like no visit to me,” Falcon whispered back. “Looked like he forced his way in there.”
“So this is where he thought to hide,” Talon stated. “He comes to granny’s and hides behind her skirts?”
He shrugged.” Would be just like the coward, wouldn’t it? So...How are we going to do this?” Falcon asked. “This neighborhood isn’t one where we want to draw attention.”
“We go around back.” Talon headed for where the street turned.
Again, since this was Talon’s picnic, Falcon followed his lead.
They made it through another alley and jumped the old wooden fence then made their way through the grassy backyard. The lawn was well kept. There was a garden and flowers all over. Granny loved to tend to flowers it seemed.
They crept toward the first window they saw.
As they neared, they could already hear yelling.
Staying to the sides, they peeked in.
The goons were just standing there while Devon was yelling at someone.
They couldn’t see who because one of the gorillas was standing there blocking the sight of whoever it was. The man was so beefy and tall that he could probably block out the sun if he stood just right.
Devon hauled his arm back and hit the person. They could hear a loud Smack. Then someone fell to the floor.
Talon and Falcon stared down at the person as the goon moved over.
Long hair covered her face as she groaned and tried to sit up.
One of the big guards kicked her leg.
Sitting up straight, she tossed her hair away from her face. “Why are you here?” she shouted at him as blood leaked from the corner of her lip.
Falcon sucked in a breath.
“I told you to shut the fuckup!” Devon yelled at her.
Falcon could only stare. Now he had a voice to go with the face. His little blue eyed witness had resurfaced. “Fuck!” he breathed out in a whisper.
Chapter Two
Talon looked over at him. “What is it?”
Falcon could only shake his head. Like that was the real question, wasn’t it. What the fuck was this?
“Ok, I say we get into a bedroom and take em by surprise,” Talon stated in a whisper.
Falcon could only stare at the girl sitting on her sweet ass ‒ that he remembered the feel of when he’d put her on his bike ‒ she swiped the blood from her lip and glared up at Devon.
The goon who kicked her, reached down and tugged her up. He then tossed her over a very wide shoulder.
She fought him while yelling, “You can’t do this!”
“I can and you owe me, so I will,” Devon growled at her. “Tie her and tape her fucking mouth shut,” he ordered then laughed.
Falcon clenched his fists and let out a low growl.
“Hey,” Talon called to him in a whisper. “You know the girl?”
He shook his head. “I don’t like women beaters man.”
Talon nodded. “I feel the same. We need to get into the bedroom.” He motioned to the corner of the house.
Falcon knew he needed to focus but in his head, he was beating Devon’s smug face to a bloody pulp as they sneaked around to the other side of the house. The window looked dark.
“You got your silencer?” Talon asked.
“Course I do,” Falcon replied in a low tone.
“We will have to take out the apes. Then Devon is mine.”
Falcon shrugged. “Them I could kill. I got my cutter if the window is locked.”
Talon stepped up and tugged the window open, “Maybe I’ll use your cutter on Devon.” He grinned then peeked into the room and climbed in.
Despite the grin, Falcon knew he was serious about the cutting part. He climbed in after him.
They wait
ed till their eyes adjusted to the dark.
Then a noise sounded from the hallway. Stomping footsteps came closer.
“Search the whole house!” Devon’s voice was right behind the footsteps.
“Oh fuck,” Falcon whispered.
“Yeah, seems we are gonna have them come to us.” Talon chuckled like he was enjoying this whole scenario.
Falcon grinned. He had to admit he was enjoying it too, or he would when he got rid of all the trash in this sweet old house.
They both stepped to the door and stood on either side.
They waited as they heard a door open... Then a few minutes later, it slammed shut. “Clear!” a loud booming voice yelled.
Then more stomping.
“Idiots,” Talon mumbled.
He got that right. They were about as smart as slugs. If granny was home, they had given her enough time to get the shotgun and load it. Or the baseball bat as she stood right here to wait for them to come through the door.
Falcon looked down next to the door and saw that very thing. Well thank you granny! He grabbed it and peered down at it. A Louisville Slugger too! He motioned to Talon as he put his silencered gun back into his waistband.
Talon nodded.
It was better to knock em out than to kill them. After all, they were just being paid to do a job, and the only man who deserved killing was still in the main room of the house as far as they knew.
The doorknob turned.
Then the door swung open
Falcon smiled.
Batter up!
The goon moved further through the door then snapped the light on.
Falcon stepped up and swung on his large bald head. The crack of the bat hitting his skull was loud in the room.
Talon caught the large man before he dropped to the floor.
Falcon quietly shut the door then grabbed the heavy body and they both gradually dragged him to the closet. It was hard going from the weight and trying to avoid the blood on the man’s head and shoulders.
Setting him down, they shoved him as far back as they could.
Falcon stepped out.
Then Talon did too and shut the door as he whispered, “One dumbass down and one to go.”
Falcon snickered.
They both went back to the door and waited for goon number 2.
Ten minutes went by with no sounds.
“Go get him!” Devon’s voice shouted from somewhere down the hallway.
They waited until they again, heard heavy footsteps.
The doorknob turned.
Then the door slammed open hard and hit Talon.
Only this goon must have been a bit smarter as he did not immediately step into the room. “Manny!” he yelled from the doorway.
“Yeah?” Talon lowered his voice.
“Where the hell are you?” the big guy called.
“Over here,” Talon answered gruffly.
Finally, goon number 2 stepped in. “Manny, what the fuck are ya doin’ in here?”
Silence.
“Manny?” He stepped through the door.
Falcon hit him with a home run CRACK.
Talon again caught him and even as big as Talon was, he had trouble hanging onto him.
Falcon sprinted forward and caught his weight before he boomed to the floor.
They looked around...there was no room in that tiny closet for this mammoth. So they just laid the hulking man down onto the floor very quietly.
Talon stood up and met Falcon’s eyes. “I get him. You get her.”
Falcon paused. “You mean go and grab her.”
Talon blinked at him. “Of course, man. She’s an innocent from what we know.”
Falcon heaved a sigh of relief.
Talon studied him. “The fuck man? I don’t kill women. I wouldn’t order you to either.”
Falcon almost told him the truth... Almost. About Eagle ordering that very thing and more than once too. Now wasn’t the time though. He nodded. “Sorry man.”
Talon stepped to the door and peeked out into the hall. Nodding to him, he stepped out.
The hallway was semi dark, but it had better lighting than the bedroom. They both eased down the hall very quietly.
Falcon stopped as he heard a noise coming from one of the doors. He’d bet his life his little witness was in here. He crept toward it as he saw Talon go down the hall looking for his prey.
Opening the door quietly, Falcon peeked in. His eyes widened. Instead of seeing his girl, he saw the old woman that had been at the door. She was lying on the floor.
His gaze rose and spanned the room.
There in a chair with her mouth taped was his girl.
Her eyes were weeping as she was sniffling through the tape on her mouth. Only she wasn’t looking at him, her gaze remained riveted to the older woman on the floor.
Falcon shut the door behind him with a small click.
Her startled gaze rose up. Her teary eyes then widened.
Yes, he saw the recognition in those blue orbs. She remembered him just like he remembered her. “I’m not here to hurt you.” He then knelt next to the old woman and felt for a pulse.
“Mhmm...Bmm!” the girl in the chair was trying to speak.
“Shh,” Falcon warned. “We still haven’t taken Devon down yet.”
She seemed to catch on then her eyes went down to the older woman.
Falcon couldn’t find a pulse. He tried at her jugular. Then he raised her fragile wrist and tapped there. Nothing. He looked up at the woman in the chair.
Her eyes were round and full of fear.
He let out a sigh. He didn’t want to tell her that this woman was dead. He then titled the old woman’s head back and began CPR. He puffed air into her mouth. Then he did compressions on her chest.
The woman in the chair simply wept through her tape as she huffed air in and out through her nose.
Falcon gave it five mire times as he switched from mouth to mouth then to compressions, he had to be gentle as the woman’s chest felt like a bird cage made of twigs. He didn’t want to crack her chest open.
After a few more, he sat back on his heels and was breathing heavy. He didn’t want to look up into those cobalt eyes and see what her reaction would be.
She was wailing now through the tape. So she did know.
He finally rose up and went over to the chair.
Suddenly, he heard brakes squealing and an engine roaring. He went to the window to see the limo barreling down the street. “Fuck!” he swore.
The bedroom door opened and Talon looked murderous. “The fucker bailed before I could even reach the living room.” His furious eyes swung over to the girl in the chair. “Who the fuck is she?”
Falcon let out a sigh.
She was struggling in her chair and pleading through the tape.
Falcon moved over and knelt at the chair. “Ok, I’m going to remove the tape and untie you, but you cannot be loud.”
She gazed into his eyes and nodded.
He then pulled the tape off as gently as he could.
She gasped out, “Nana!”
Falcon looked over at Talon.
Talon was kneeling next to the old woman as he too, was checking her pulse.
The girl struggled. “Please untie me? Please?”
Falcon took out his knife to cut the rope and the tape they’d used to bind her.
She bolted up and rushed over sliding across the floor on her knees as she wept. Gathering the old woman up, she cried out, “I’m so sorry, Nan. So sorry!”
Falcon gazed over at Talon.
He now wore his cold expression on his face as he met Falcon’s eyes. He nodded his head to the girl.
Falcon knew he meant they had to take her. For a couple of reasons, too. One ‒ to find out what she knew about dickhead. And two ‒ Just to go by the MC book. Leave no one behind to describe you to the cops.
He stood there for several minutes as the poor girl cried over her Nana.
Talon
let out a sigh. “We lost him.”
Falcon nodded. “I know man. I’m sorry.”
The girl looked up at them both. “You lost him?” She suddenly looked furious. “They killed my grandma!’
Falcon pushed his fingers through his hair. “She has no injuries that I could tell?”
Her gaze swung over to him “It was her heart. They frightened her when they hauled her up and tossed her in here. She had a heart attack! But they still killed her!” Her voice had gone to a shout.
“Falcon,” talon called to him warning.
Falcon’s gaze rose to him.
“Grab her, let’s go man. I fucking hear sirens.”
Falcon let out a breath and approached her. “We gotta go.”
Her tear filled gaze rose up to his face. “What?”
“We have to go,” he repeated.
She shrugged. “Then go! I don’t want you here anyway!”
He shook his head. “Babe, you don’t get it.” He reached down and picked her up.
“What are you doing?” she asked with panic in her voice.
“Keep quiet and I will tell you all about it later.”
She struggled with him.
He popped her on that sweet ass.
“OWWW!”
“Keep her quiet man,” Talon warned as they went down the hall and to the window where they came in.
“Babe, you gotta shut up,” Falcon told her as he made his way to the window where Talon just climbed through.
“What are you doing?” she asked breathlessly.
“I’m doing what I have to.”
“I can’t go with you!” she yelled, as she seemed to finally realize what he intended to do.
He paused at the window and sat her down. Grabbing her arms, he said, “Look at me!”
Her dazed red rimmed blue eyes stared into his.
“Devon will kill you now. Do you understand?”
Her eyes widened even more as his words penetrated her mind.
“So be a good girl and come with me,” he urged.
She swallowed heavily and nodded.
“Thatta girl.” He helped her through the window. They rushed across the backyard.
Falcon grabbed her as she gasped and hefted her up to the top of the fence.
She then grabbed on and tackled it, then slid down the other side, landing on her ass. “OH!”
