He brought his mate to the life tree. A much different tree than when he’d left. The boughs once again thick and showing promise in its budding leaves. A few unfurled at their approach, and she gasped.

  “How cool.”

More of the foliage fluttered and danced as he made love to Belle under its canopy.

Only later, as they lay under the boughs, did she glance up. “What is that?” she asked, pointing to the burgeoning seed.

He held her close. “The future.”

  Epilogue

The future was better than Clarabelle could have imagined. Thyos proved to be an awesome partner, always asking her input, wanting her by his side. His annoying mother and sisters moved out, meaning Ralph got his own room.

Which he’d need, since he was a she and about to have some puppies. Thyos didn’t know yet. It was a surprise she hoped to soften with sex.

Mmm, the sex. They’d screwed everywhere, every which way, and she still couldn’t get enough. Good thing she was on birth control, or she’d have surely gotten started on those babies his mom wanted. But she and Thyos had chosen to hold off. To enjoy each other first.

  Mmm, enjoy…

She hunted him down and found him, shirt off, in the kitchen, cooking.

It smelled divine. She leaned around him to steal a bite, nipping him on the pectoral, only to have him spin her into his arms and take a kiss.

Next thing she knew, she was sitting on the kitchen island, nibbling her husband’s neck, when she found herself distracted by someone passing by the window.

“Um, Thyos, why would Kryx have some purple lady slung over his shoulder?”

Her husband turned to look. “He appears to have abducted her.”

She cocked her head. “Are you sure? Because she seems to be smiling.”

Of course, she is, because Dorrys has been waiting all her life for this moment. You might remember Dorrys from Reverse Abduction. She’s about to Welcome Abduction as a means to escape her mother. But poor Kryx, he never wanted to settle down. How will he react when he’s not given a choice?

And now for another teaser, because red-haired orphan Clarabelle obviously wasn’t the same Clarabelle seen in Reverse Abduction…so who was that mysterious human? Find out in the upcoming Forgotten Abduction.

She awoke inside a wreckage, her head throbbing, her eyes blinking as she tried to focus. Every inch of her ached, and she wondered why, even as she stared with incomprehension at the disaster around her.

Her lips parted. What had happened?

  A crash obviously.

“Who are you? How did you come to be here?” The voice, distinctly male, had her huddling and shivering, which only served to make him frown wider. “Why do you cringe? I haven’t harmed you. Yet.”

The “yet” had her uttering a small whimper. She’d never been so scared. Never ever had she felt like this, which led to the realization she didn’t recall anything before this crash.

  Nothing at all.

So when he once more asked, “Who are you?” she tried to find the courage inside to answer.

In her mind, she saw a red-haired woman with a fierce expression and a name. “I’m Clarabelle?”

But little did Sade realize she wasn’t that brave sister. However, she’ll fall in love before she realizes the truth. Question is, can a warrior accept a woman who is scared of her own shadow? Find out what happens in Forgotten Abduction.
