  “Who are you?” Maya asked.

“My name’s Asif,” he said reaching his hand across the table.

Kenny slapped it away, but Asif was unfazed.

“And I know who you are,” he said with a wink. “They got me caught up on your work for us and can I just say, I really hope you make it to the site-wide charts for that performance a few days ago.”

Monica smiled warmly, “Thank you. I really put my all into that.”

  Kenny swallowed loudly.

“It showed,” Asif said. “I heard there was a blowjob last night. Sorry I missed that. You ever think about doing a tutorial?”

“That’s what I said,” Kierra chimed in.

Asif turned and nodded at her before returning to Maya, “It’d be a hit. Trust me.”

Maya sucked her bottom lip into her mouth and they all pretended not to hear Kenny’s muffled groan that he tried to pass off as a cough.

“I guess I could think about it.”

“I hope you do. And if you need a volunteer-”

“Don’t make me shoot you,” Kenny said as a wicked smile spread across Asif’s lips.

“Who are you exactly?” Maya squinted.

“Asif works for The Agency,” Kenny ground out, his dislike for his colleague dripping from every word. “He’s here to help us infiltrate Mehmeti’s club.”

“I’m also looking for someone who’s been robbing me blind. You haven’t run into a computer whiz with big curly hair, full mouth, great hips, sometimes exotic dancer with a laptop attached to her too-long acrylic nails, have you? About this tall,” he said, his hand hitting around mid-chest. “She might have tried to get you into bed or maybe left a pile of glitter in her wake?”

Everyone held their breath as Maya stared at Asif. She pursed her lips and shook her head. “Nope. But if I see her,” Maya said, leaning across the table toward him, “she wouldn’t have to work too hard to get me anywhere.”

  Asif’s mouth fell open.

Maya turned toward Kenny and smiled, the wink implied. And then she turned to Monica, “So does this mean I get hazard pay and a field bonus?”

  “That’s my girl!” Kierra exclaimed.

  Monica missed Lane.

  ***

The plan was simple. Not simple to execute, but direct. There was a chance she was overestimating Mehmeti’s security, but she felt certain that she was giving the man far more credit than he deserved. Any idiot smug enough to conduct business on the site where he jacked off and video-chatted with total strangers to get his rocks off, was not someone who was likely to be particularly stringent about things like computer passwords. It seemed likely that he relied on his security to keep people out. Monica was betting this mission on the hunch that once Mehmeti invited someone inside his club all bets were off. And with Maya in front of him, Monica felt certain that what few defenses he had left would melt away. Maya was their honeypot Trojan horse.

“We’ll leave first thing tomorrow morning,” Monica announced to the room. “We’ll have a few hours in San Francisco before you arrive. All you two have to do is pretend to be a happy couple on a vacation paid for by an eccentric mobster who maybe just wants to watch you fuck.”

“I’ve always wanted to do that,” Kierra whispered.

  “You have?” Maya asked.

Kierra winked at Maya but turned to Monica to answer, “I have a very active imagination.”

“I missed this horny bunch,” Asif chuckled.

“Anyway, once we get to San Francisco, we can’t have any direct contact with you just in case Mehmeti is watching you. But keep an eye out for one of us just in case. Is that clear?”

  Kenny and Maya nodded.

“Once we’re all in the club on Wednesday night-”

“Wait, how are you three getting in?” Maya asked.

“No idea,” Asif said. “We’ll figure it out.”

Kierra smirked, “I’ve got this dress. It’s all mesh and-”

“Let’s stay on track,” Monica hissed. “That should leave you and Kenny to deal with Joseph and his personal guard.”

She turned to Kenny, “I thought you all were supposed to be super spies. This plan sounds thin as hell.”

“Preach, girl,” Kierra mumbled under her breath. Monica glared at her, but she just shrugged. Shameless insubordination. When Lane returned, Monica started to think, but had to nip that thought in the bud. They didn’t have time for her to be distracted. More distracted than normal.

“It’s best you don’t know any more than is necessary,” Monica said. “Just know that we’ll all be there on Wednesday night. We’ll do our jobs and you do yours. Asif,” she said turning to him. “We’ll need an exit strategy that will have to get past the security system since we can’t hack into it remotely.”

“And how do you know that?” Asif asked, fishing for more information on Chanté. Which Monica was absolutely not going to give.

  “We have intel.”

“What do you think security will be like?” Kenny asked. Finally, a mission-related interjection.

“We can’t know for sure. The Mehmeti family has lots of money to splash around and lots of enemies. Let’s plan to be outnumbered.”

  Kenny nodded.

  “Our hacker-”

  “Whose name is?” Asif asked.

“Steven, he’s new,” she answered automatically. “Our hacker tells us that the club is in a warehouse in Hunter’s Point. It used to be a poor neighborhood. It’s gentrifying, but not gentrified. Hopefully we can use that to our advantage.” She tapped the smart screen and brought up schematics for the building. “The bottom floor seems to be a sex store.”

  “Smart,” Kenny said.

“Will I have time to shop?” Maya interjected. Monica pretended again that she didn’t hear Kenny’s gasp. Maya did not. She smiled and ran a nail down the back of his hand.

“The second and third floors are the dance club, but we don’t know much more than that. The fourth floor is some kind of meeting space, the ATF thinks, but again we don’t know much more than that. And then Joseph occupies the top floor.”

“Where he jacks off to cam models all day and sometimes sells guns to terrorists,” Kenny said.

  “Fun,” Asif interjected.

“When you make it here,” Monica said, speaking specifically to Maya and pointing at the top floor on the schematics. “You need to distract Joseph and any of his personal security. Kenny will locate the computer. Is that clear?” She made sure not to blink. This was all fun and games and flirting and blowjobs until it wasn’t. Kenny was too besotted with Maya to scare her, and Kierra didn’t have a clear sense of danger, especially not when she was horny – which was at least 90% of the time – so it was up to Monica to impress upon her the seriousness of their situation. “Joseph can’t suspect anything is out of sorts at least until you three are alone.”

“Monica,” Kenny started, but she cut him off with a raised hand.

“I’ve seen you on camera. You put on a great show. You make everyone watching you think you’re performing just for them.” Maya’s eyes cut to Kenny, who sucked in a sharp breath. Monica brushed the awkwardness of their relationship aside, that was none of her business. Apprehending Joseph Mehmeti and keeping them all alive was her objective. “Think of this trip as the performance of your life. If you succeed, we bring down a spoiled international arms dealer and you earn enough money to make sure that your brother and sister can afford to finish college without student loans. But if you fail, we all pay the price.”

Monica watched as the realization of what she was saying washed over Maya. Kenny’s hands were clutched into fists on the table, but they were all quiet, even Kierra and Asif.

Eventually Maya nodded, sitting up straight in her chair. Monica watched Maya put a gentle hand over Kenny’s before she spoke. Her voice was strong, even though she clearly was nervous, “How much is the field bonus?”

Monica smirked, she agreed with Lane, Maya was somet
hing else. But she tamped down on her approval. “That depends on the hazard rating.”

“What’s that?” she turned to Kierra for help.

“Agency standard hazard rating,” Kierra nodded proudly. “There’s a whole complicated grid about approved weaponry and personnel and percentages of total expenditures.” She rolled her eyes.

Monica nodded, happy to see that Kierra had been studying for her Classified Materials exam. “Until we can gather more intel, this op has been rated a level five hazard. The higher the danger, the lower the number.”

“Not that you want a level one,” Kierra whispered across the table with a smile, “but if it happens, you won’t ever have to work again a day in your life.” And then she sat up straight, “Assuming you survive.”

  “Nice one,” Kenny said.

  Kierra cringed and mouthed, “sorry.”

Maya nodded at Monica, “The performance of my life. Got it.”

  “What about Lane?” Kierra whispered.

“I talked to Lane this morning. He’s in West Virginia.”

“You talked to Lane?” Kierra asked, her voice brightening with excitement but also his name was strangled with worry as it fell from her mouth.

Monica moved around the table to stroke her shoulder tenderly.

“He checked in. He’s fine. The rest is classified,” she said. She knew that wouldn’t be enough, but right now it would have to do.

“So what’s the name of this club anyway?” Maya asked excitedly.

Monica moved back to the smart screen and tapped it, revealing a series of surveillance images they’d received from the local ATF office in San Francisco. Apparently, the club was under surveillance as a potential site for trafficking already. The ATF didn’t seem to have any idea that it was an Albanian mobster’s front, but these were all things Monica thought they could use to their advantage if the mission spiraled out of control.

“LICK.” Maya read the signage above the otherwise nondescript brick building that still looked like an abandoned factory from the exterior.

Kierra groaned. “Dear lord, not again.”

  Monica couldn’t help but smile.

“What do you mean, ‘again’?” Maya asked.

Kierra looked at Monica before she answered. Monica nodded.

“Okay, so basically European sex clubs are somehow cheesy as fuck, with the worst names, and also a bit wild. I know from experience,” she said as she widened her eyes and nodded sagely at her friend.

“You don’t have to do this,” Kenny interjected quickly, turning to Maya.

  “Actually, you do,” Monica corrected.

Kenny opened his mouth to protest but Monica silenced him with a look. While she could understand his impulse to provide Maya a way out, this was what she’d signed up for. This was what they’d all signed up for.

Maya turned to Kenny and put a hand on his face tenderly. “You’ll be with me, right?” She whispered.

His eyes softened, and he nodded. “Every step of the way.”

  “So fucking sweet,” Kierra whispered.

“Very,” Asif breathed and leaned forward. “You know, if you two are ever looking for a third-” he started.

Kenny turned to glare at him, but it was Kierra who replied.

“Hey,” she said to Asif. They all turned to look at her. “I know I seem very meek and calm.” Everyone at the table squinted at her in disbelief, but she kept going. “But if you don’t shut that fucking leering at my friend all the way down, I really will stab you. Don’t sully the cute shit they have going on over there.”

Maya exhaled around a smile at Kierra, who smiled back.

“Besides, if her and Kenny decide they want to get a little freaky, clearly it’ll be with us,” she said gesturing toward Monica.

“You really don’t know when to stop, do you?” Maya breathed, an annoyed glare on her face.

Kierra leaned forward and shook her head, “Not a clue.”

Monica sighed. It would be a miracle if they even made it in the club’s front door.

  mission prep #2

“Is there anything I can get you?” Kierra asked as she shimmied onto Monica’s desk.

“No,” Monica said, pretending to pore over the trip manifest in front of her.

“Are you sure?” Kierra leaned down to whisper the words directly into Monica’s ear.

“I have a lot of work to do before we leave.” Monica looked up. “And so do you.”

Kierra smiled smugly, “I’ve pulled all of the hardware you requested on the mission manifest and packed it for transport. All you have to do is approve it. I’ve contacted the safe house in the Mission district, and I’ve scheduled our transportation to the airport. We take off just before dawn tomorrow. I’m just waiting for Maya and Kenny to finish up in his office so we can head home and pack.” As she spoke, Kierra pushed the papers in front of Monica out of the way and settled herself on the desk in front of her, her legs demurely to one side, knees together.

“How do you manage all of this?” Monica asked as she looked up into Kierra’s bright eyes, her own gaze warm and her body tingling.

  “All of what?”

Monica shook her head and almost lifted the side of her mouth into a smile. “How do you do your job and still have time to proposition me? All of our previous assistants were junior agents and they could just barely keep up with our needs.”

Kierra’s smile was instantaneous and dirty; she loved awe-filled compliments. She moved to spread her legs in front of Monica and lifted her skirt up her thighs. “I’m a very motivated person,” she said, a hand traveling between her legs. She rubbed along the front of her panties. Monica’s eyes followed the movement.

She had a lot to do between now and take off. But when Kierra pulled that little scrap of wet cotton aside, she knew that she would just have to make it all happen with a bit less time at her disposal. She ran her hands up Kierra’s thighs and gripped her hips, pulling her ass closer to the edge of the desk. Closer to her mouth.

“You promise that Lane is okay?” Kierra whispered, her eyes soft and fearful.

Monica lifted one hand and stroked her thumb lightly across Kierra’s bottom lip. “I promise, sweet girl. And he gave me a message for you.”

  Kierra smiled minutely, “He did?”

Monica slipped her thumb between Kierra’s lips. The tip of her tongue brushed the pad of her finger. “He told me to tell you not to behave.”

Kierra’s mouth widened into a full-fledged smile and she nipped at Monica’s finger. “Never.” Monica knew that was a promise.

When she lowered her mouth to Kierra’s pussy, licking and sucking at her with firm pressure, she didn’t gentle the strokes of her tongue or her fingers as they sawed into Kierra’s cunt. Her thrusts were strong, just the way they liked. Because this, too, was a promise. A promise that Lane would be back soon and they would all make it out of this alright.

“I won’t let you out of my sight,” Kenny said, not for the first time.

  “Mmmmhmmm,” Maya mumbled.

“I might have to carry a gun,” he mumbled, “I’m sorry.”

“S’okay,” she said, breathless. “Just don’t shoot me.”

He pulled back from her with a stricken look on his face. “I would never. I’m always safe.”

Maya couldn’t help but smile, “I was joking. I assume you all have to go through some kind of gun safety training… workshop?”

“We log thousands of hours and have to record every time we fire our guns at the range. You’re completely safe with me.”

She smiled, shocked to find that she believed him. Completely. And she told him so. He visibly relaxed.

“Now if we could get back to business,” she said, squeezing his dick. He groaned and his back bowed. She guided his mouth back to hers and gasped against his lips as his fingers began to move inside of her again. Maybe it was the adrenaline of the upcoming mission that made everything around them
seem so real all of a sudden. Or maybe it was just they could sense that whatever was coming would put them on display in a way that was both familiar, but also brand new. And they wanted something that was private to ground them in the fact that they were real. That they had been something before this operation.

Or maybe it was just months of pent up sexual frustration still rearing its head and the few stolen kisses and soft touches and a stellar blowjob just wasn’t enough. This quick mutual masturbation wasn’t going to be enough either, but it was all they had time for. And it was all theirs.

“Fuck,” Maya breathed as he slipped his tongue into her mouth. “I’m so happy you’re a good kisser,” she mumbled.

  He pulled back, “Huh?”

“I said I’m so happy you’re a good kisser. I was afraid you wouldn’t be.”

He smiled. “I’m good at a lot of things, Maya.”

There was something about the way he said her name that made her heart swell and throb right along with her clit. Well, the way he said her name and the way one hand was working her pussy over and the other was pinching her nipples and the way his dick was swelling in her palm. It was all so much and not enough at all.

“I want to wait,” she whispered.

His brow furrowed. “Wait for what?”

“I want to fuck you so bad,” she said. “But not until the mission is over.”

She wanted to explain herself, but the hormones flooding her veins made complex sentences difficult to come by. But when he moved his hand from her breast to gently grip the side of her neck, stroking her jaw, she knew that he got it. She wanted them to have something to look forward to. She wanted them to survive.

They kept their eyes locked together and stroked each other purposely to beautiful, gentle and just a little bit dirty orgasms. He moved his mouth over hers, panting into their kiss, “So we’ll wait.”

Asif was pacing around the living room, his cell phone pressed to his ear. Chanté’s phone rang and rang until her voicemail picked up again.

“I’m booked and busy. Leave a message.”

He huffed out a breath. This was the third time in a row he’d called her phone. She hadn’t picked up. Not even when he went anonymous. He finally decided to leave a message.
