I’m about to tell her that I will fulfill her every need when

my phone rings. I ignore it while I suck her skin into my mouth.

“You should probably get that. Wouldn’t want to upset your girlfriend.” Olivia says annoyed, slipping away from me and walking out the bathroom, leaving me angry and frustrated.

I make a fist and hit it off the sink. I almost had her and Erika ruined our moment.

  Chapter Seventeen

  Olivia

I woke up this morning thinking last night was a dream. There’s no way that Luke Stewart was kissing me! I was convinced that it was a dream until I looked in the mirror and saw the hickey he left on the side of my neck. For a minute, I laugh thinking how high school of him, but then I thought about how he is still here in the house. Things are going to be awkward when we sit in the kitchen today since we both know the only reason he stopped kissing me was because Erika called. He has a girlfriend. He shouldn’t have kissed me in the first place!

It’s Tuesday which means Katherine and I will meet up for lunch with Ben and Harry. It also gives me an excuse to not be in the house when Luke wakes up. I don’t want to hear him apologize for kissing me.

Ben and I sit at the table next to Katherine and Harry. We stay close enough that we can hear their conversation. If she starts to get agitated then I will step in.

“So, are you going to tell me what happened last night at the carnival?” Ben asks, sitting across from me.

“We had fun. We went on a few rides and played games.” I say, not wanting to give every single detail to him.

“That’s all?” He knows that I’m holding back on him.

I lean in my chair deciding if I want to tell him what happened after the carnival. I want to keep it to myself, but at the same time, I feel the need to tell someone. I want to hear what they think. “He kissed me.” I lean in, afraid that Katherine might hear me. She might not remember that Luke is her son, but I still respect her as his mother. I’m sure she doesn’t want to hear about who her son is kissing.

Ben props up his elbows onto the table. “Okay. I’m definitely going to need more details. You can’t tell me that he kissed you without telling me what led up to the big fireworks exploding.” He says, excited.

There weren’t fireworks. Everything seemed to happen so fast and unexpected. Up until he told me that I was beautiful, I didn’t think I was his type. I figured he only dated supermodels considering he is actually dating one right now! I tell Ben everything that went down in the bathroom including the painful moment when Erika called, interrupting something that shouldn’t have been going on.

“I feel guilty.” I say with a sigh.

Ben tilts his head. “Why? You didn’t do anything wrong.”

“I knew about Erika and I still didn’t stop him from kissing me.” Truth be told, I was loving his lips pressed against my skin. I haven’t felt that alive since Ethan. He was the only man that I let kiss me until last night. I never thought that another man would ever kiss me again, but it happened. Now I wish Erika didn’t call and ruin the moment. I wouldn’t have stopped him. I wonder how far we would have gone. Would he have taken me to his bedroom? I would like to think that he would have.

“Luke’s a big boy. You have nothing to be guilty about. He’s the one that should be feeling guilty.” He claps his hands together, getting more excited. “Now tell me, how did it make you feel when a hot movie star kissed you? Was the kiss like it's always is in the chick flicks? Did he kiss you like he hasn’t seen you in months?”

I don’t know how to respond to his questions. I shrug my shoulders.

“Come on, Ol. I see that smile on your face. You can’t hide the fact that you enjoyed him kissing you.”

“Alright. I did like it, but….”

“He has a girlfriend. Yeah, we already know that! Forget about Erika for a minute. How did the kiss make you feel?”

“Him kissing me like that made me realize just how much I missed it,” I say while taking a deep sigh. I’m lonelier than I let on. I love Katherine but having Luke there and being able to talk to him and have a real conversation feels good. It also doesn’t hurt that he is incredibly sexy.

“Maybe it’s a sign that you need to get yourself back out there. I can help you with online dating. We can get you a cute profile picture and write a cool bio. Guys will be begging you to go out with them.”

“I like your suggestion, but I can’t. I don’t have time for that. Besides, I have a daughter! I’m not going to bring strangers around her. Savannah doesn’t need that in her life.” I say, turning my attention to Katherine who is smiling as Harry reads her a poem he wrote for her. She loves it when he reads romantic poems. It’s sweet that he does that for her even though he has already read them to her a thousand times before.

I didn’t want to come home. I’m afraid to face Luke after what happened last night. He is going to regret it or worst, he will pretend it never happened.

I breathe a sigh of relief when I see that his car isn’t in front of the house as I pull up. I go on to do my regular chores dusting, vacuuming, and washing. Once I’m finished, I move on to prepare dinner. Katherine wanted spaghetti and luckily, I have everything here to make it for her. I boil the water while I start to heat up the sauce when the front door opens. Here it goes. Don’t make it awkward. I silently say to myself in my head. I’m not even going to mention the kiss. I will wait to see if Luke says something about it first.

“Hey, what’s for dinner?” He asks, opening the refrigerator to grab a cold beer.

  “Spaghetti. Katherine asked for it.”

Keep it cool, Ol. You can do this. Just don’t think about how your heart was racing as he pressed his lips on your neck.

“Awesome. I could go for some.” He says, lingering around the kitchen while I try to focus on the food and not him. He suddenly laughs, causing me to turn around to see what’s funny. “You can ease up a little bit. I kissed you last night, but you still have to breathe.”

“Whatever,” I mumble, not wanting to talk about last night.

“Yes, I’m dating Erika. Our relationship isn’t what most people think.” He says, walking over to me. He leans his back against the counter as he’s now facing me, just inches away from me. “Hollywood isn’t always what it seems to be. We are greedy bastards who are dying for attention. Once we know how to get it, we continue going until the fire burns out. Then we move on to the next.”

I stop stirring the sauce and look at him. “I have no clue what you are talking about right now.”

“Erika is beautiful, I’m not going to deny that. We live together, but we aren’t together in a couple sense. She goes out on dates at least once a week. It doesn’t bother me. She is free to see whoever she wants to see. The same goes for me. Erika doesn’t care if I go out with other women.”

My mouth hangs open. “You’re in an open relationship?” He doesn’t strike me as a person who is open to sharing a woman.

“No. We live together, but we aren’t really together. When we are alone, we don’t kiss or touch each other. We are only together when there is a camera near.”

“So, you aren’t a couple?” I ask, growing more confused by the minute. Are they together or not? Why do they live together if they aren’t actually dating?

“It’s all for the fame.” He says like it’s no big deal.

“And she is okay with that?” I ask, trying to make sense of their relationship.

“Whose idea do you think it was to fake our relationship for the camera?” He reaches out to take a piece of my hair and wrap it around his finger as our eyes lock.

I look at him as I am not sure how I feel about this. Luke is a hot Hollywood star. If he and Erika are allowed to see other people then who am I kidding to think that I’m the only woman he has been hitting on? He probably does this all the time with the women in LA. I’m just another one on his list.

  “Are you sleeping together?”

&nb
sp; He smirks. “Sometimes.”

“How can it not bother you that she is with other guys?”

He shrugs his shoulders and tugs on my hair. “It just doesn’t. There aren’t any feelings involved.”

“You don’t have feelings for her at all?”

He shrugs his shoulders and takes his time thinking before he answers my question. “Erika and I have known each other for a while now. I do care about her just like I care for Matthew. She’s like a friend to me.”

Hearing him say that they aren’t a couple makes me more confused. I don’t know why there’s a part of me that is smiling inside thinking maybe I could be the one for him while the other part is warning me to stay clear away from Luke Stewart. He may be Katherine’s son, but he could still be bad news for me. I have to be careful around him.

  Chapter Eighteen

  Olivia

Luke was shocked when I admitted to him that I have never seen a movie of his. He has appeared in thirteen movies in his career. Most of the movies of his are romance. He joked he gets the leading roles because he has that sexy bad boy look to him that makes women want him. He said directors know he will make their movies huge if he’s in it especially when he is shirtless. He told me women have no problem giving him compliments on how good looking he is.

He asked me to pick out one of his movies to watch with him after Katherine goes to bed. I couldn’t decide since I didn’t know much about them, so I let him choose one for me. He picked “Breathe You In”. A movie about a single mother who falls in love with her best friend’s brother.

He tells me that he will get everything ready for our movie night while I get a quick shower.

As I head into the living room, I find Luke sitting on the couch with a glass of wine in his hand. I take a seat on the opposite side of the couch. I’m not sure where we stand after the encounter in the bathroom. I’m putting space between us.

He notices the large gap between us. “Scoot down. You can’t see the television that good from that angle.”

I hesitate, not sure if I can trust myself being close to him. He might try something with me since I now know the truth about him and Erika not being a real couple.

He laughs at me resisting. “Come on. I promise I won’t bite unless you want me to.” He flashes a sexy smirk, letting me know that he doesn’t regret that night.

I roll my eyes back and move closer to him to see the television better. He hands me a glass of wine. I take a sip and prop my feet on the coffee table as he does the same.

I’m starting to believe that Luke only picked this movie because he’s shirtless quite often throughout the film, not that I’m complaining. People claim that television adds a few pounds on you, well that’s a lie! Luke’s body looks just as incredible as it does in person. So muscular, tone and fit. Fuck! He’s so sexy in this movie.

Towards the end of the movie, there’s a scene where his character confesses his love to his sister’s best friend as she is about to walk away from his life for good. He grabs her by the wrist and backs her up against the wall where he shows her how much he loves her while he devours her mouth. The room starts to feel like it’s getting hot as I reach for my wine glass and gulp it down with hopes it will cool my body down.

“Wow!” He chuckles. “You’re so turned on by that scene! Look at you, you are squirming right now.” He points out.

I was kind of hoping he didn’t notice. He is right. How could I not be? The scene was hot especially with Luke being in it. The way he kissed that woman like there was no tomorrow. I would be lying if I said that I wasn’t fantasizing about myself as the woman with Luke. I wonder if Luke would kiss me so passionately like that as his hands roam all over my body.

His laughter fills the room. “Why so shy, Olivia?”

I love when he says my name. He makes it sound so sexy the way it slips off his tongue. I wish I could record it and listen to him repeat my name all day.

He pushes my hair off my shoulder. “I don’t recall seeing you at a loss for words.” He moves in, leaning forward towards me and starts kissing my neck once again.

I have noticed he likes to kiss my neck but not my mouth. Is there something wrong with my lips? Do I have bad breath? “Why won’t you kiss me on the lips?” I blurt out before I have a chance to stop myself.

He immediately stops kissing my neck and backs away to face me. “Do you want the truth?” He asks with his brow half raised.

I nod. I have been wanting to know this answer since he first kissed me. He had more than enough time to turn me around and kiss me. I was waiting for him to do that.

He brushes his finger against my bottom lip. “You aren’t like them. You’re not the one-night stand type.”

“What am I?” My voice comes out sounding weak. Luke Stewart makes me weak.

“One kiss from those beautiful lips would be like saying I do. You’re full of commitment, Olivia. Something that I completely lack.”

Luke is being honest and I can’t be mad at him for that. I just don’t like his answer. I want more from him than a hickey on my neck. I want him to be able to touch me everywhere. His hands freely roaming my body. He is the only guy besides Ethan that I felt a connection with. I feel like I would be crazy to let this opportunity go by before he leaves town. The what if scenarios would be playing in my head every day if I don’t act on them now.

He pulls his legs back from the coffee table and is about to get up to leave when I stop him as I reach for his arm. “What if I told you that I enjoy what you do to me and I want more,” I say with confidence from somewhere inside me. I’ve never been one to pursue the opposite sex but I’ll take the chance when it comes to Luke.

His Adam’s apple slowly bobs up and down. He stares at me like he isn’t sure if he heard me correctly. “But you are going to expect some sort of commitment out of this.”

I shake my head. “I’m not expecting anything from you.” My eyes challenge him. He continues to watch me, not believing what I said. I will prove it to him. I swing my leg over him and straddle him. Now it’s my turn to be in control. His hands slide down my back and onto my ass where he rests them on. I kiss his neck the same way he kissed my neck in the bathroom while my fingers run through his messy hair. His skin taste salty.

“Keep this up and I will take you right here on this couch. Don’t think I’m kidding.” He says with a sexy growl, loving my mouth on him.

I giggle against his neck like some kind of schoolgirl. “Why don’t you take me to your bedroom instead?” I whisper into his ear, seductively.

In a quick move, he stands up holding me close to his chest like I’m light as a flower. I wrap my legs around his waist. “Are you sure you can handle this without any commitment?” He asks, looking me in the eyes like he is searching for answers in them.

  I nod.

He shakes his head. “I need to hear you say the words, Olivia.”

“I can handle this without any commitment. I’m not expecting anything from you.”

Luke doesn’t say another word until we are in his room. He closes the door and backs me against it as his mouth refuses to leave my neck.

My hands travel lower until they land on the button on his jeans. I want to see what he looks like naked, under all those clothes. His body looked amazing in the movie we watched, but I wonder what it will feel like with my fingers running down his chest.

He grabs my wrists and pins them above my head. “Haven’t you heard that I’m a star who likes to call the shots? I like to make the rules even in the bedroom and I’m going to take my time exploring this body inch by inch, so enjoy the ride.” He says with a smile. His smile makes my body feel like it’s on fire and we haven’t even started yet. We still have clothes on, too much clothes.

He keeps one hand above my head holding me down by my wrists with his strong hand as his other hand slowly moves down my cheek onto my neck. He continues moving down until he reaches my breast giving it a squeeze causing me to moan. “I
can get used to hearing that sound coming from that beautiful mouth of yours.” He says, in a husky tone.

Every word that is coming out of his mouth is turning me on. I never thought I would see myself about to have sex with another guy, but here I am about to.

Luke moves me in the direction of where his bed is and lies me down. He removes his shirt and tosses it onto the floor. He takes my hand and places it on his abs as he stares down at my hand roaming his chest freely. His chest feels solid. “Your hands are so soft.” He says, pressing his lips to my knuckles and slowly kisses all the way up to my arm.

There is something about the way his lips feel on my body that I love. My whole body reacts to his mouth. It’s pure intoxication. Luke’s mouth makes me feel like I’m a virgin. I feel so inexperienced. I don’t know what to do around him or how to react when his mouth is on me. If his lips can make my body feel this way then I could only imagine what the rest of him will feel like. It might be the death of me, but I want this more than anything.

His hand palms my face. “So beautiful and delicate.” He says, running his finger over my bottom lip. He leans closer to my mouth. I think he’s about to kiss me, but he doesn’t. He darts out his tongue and traces my lips slowly. It’s the hottest thing I have ever witness. My heart is racing with anticipation to see what else Luke has in store for me tonight.
