Aiden was huge. That thick, big-cock separated my wet folds, and my body molded around him. He filled me completely. I shivered around his length. Shocking me even more, Aiden forced himself deeper. I’d thought he’d gone as deep as he could, but there were still more inches of him to go. His cock throbbed inside of me, pulsing at the tip.
And then he said something that shocked me, “I will love you forever, mate.”
Before I could respond, he pumped that big cock into me again. He didn’t just thrust, he entered me deeper than anyone ever had, pushing my body into a whirlwind of ecstasy. That electric shock I’d been feeling now multiplied to hundred times. Moans ripped from my throat, echoing through the woods.
“Mine!” he roared, and slid his fingers through my hair, gently pulling my head back as he plunged his cock in and out with a perfect rhythm. He tenderly yanked back my hair some more, and my upper body lifted from the ground a little. My breasts bobbed up and down.
Still pumping, he cupped one of my breasts with his hand and roared again, “Mine!”
I cried in pleasure.
“Oh, Goddess.” He licked my neck. “My first addiction is tasting you. My second is fucking you.”
Moaning, I opened my eyes and could’ve sworn I saw movement in the woods like someone else was near. I looked closer at the trees in front of us and thought I might’ve spotted Blaze watching. Silver eyes flicked within the moonlight.
But then Aiden stroked that cock into me again and I lost all focus.
His large hand moved from my breasts and gripped my throat. He worked my pussy into oblivion. New erotic sensations zipped up my body, ones I’d never felt before.
He howled at the moon and pumped faster and harder.
The angle I was positioned in was perfect. My second orgasm rose, threatening to break any moment. His hand slipped back down over my breast. I exhaled, and he tenderly pinched my nipple. Every inch of my body blazed with lust.
He moaned, “Cum for me, baby.”
And as if he had complete power over my body, wave after wave of orgasm shook through me, ripping my sanity apart. I screamed in ecstasy, my throat burning. And he moaned with me even louder, losing himself in our passion too.
“I love you,” he groaned, and then his swollen cock burst hot liquid into me. Drowning my pussy in wet sizzling warmth. It was shocking to experience. The electricity of his semen triggered more orgasms in me.
His sperm dripped out of my folds.
I vibrated from the effect.
Aiden stiffened behind me in a final spasm. “Mine.”
Chapter 17
Imani
Afterward, Aiden carried me back to his cabin and placed me in his huge bed. A strange peacefulness poured over me. For the first time in my life, I believed that in Aiden’s arms was where I was destined to be.
But is this all too fast?
Still naked, I lay against his chest. He’d taken off the rest of his clothes in the room.
I breathed him in.
I’m in love with a werewolf. How is that possible? And how safe will we be? What about those witches? What about us? What will happen?
For several minutes, we lay in silence.
He broke the quiet. “What’s wrong?”
“Everything has happened so fast.”
“Maybe we should’ve taken our time, but once I saw you, I couldn’t leave you alone, no matter how much I tried.” He kissed the curve of my neck and placed a soft peck below my ear. “Do you have any regrets?”
“No,” I whispered without even thinking. There was nothing to even think about. For once, I was where I was supposed to be. “What will we do about the witches?”
“Let me handle that.”
I gave him a weak smile. “If we’re going to try to be together, then we work together.”
“There is no trying,” he whispered. “We are together.”
Shock hit me.
“This isn’t dating, Imani. We’re together forever. There is no other option.”
Part of me melted in gooey warmness from his confidence in our love. However, the other part rose with fear.
What if we find that we don’t like each other? What if we end up hating each other? There must always be options.
“Your heart is pounding hard in your chest.” He placed his fingers on my chin and traced his thumb along my bottom lip. “Talk to me, Imani.”
“It’s a little anxiety.”
“Talk to me.”
“Mate sounds so. . .permanent.”
“It is.”
“What if I’m not ready for permanent?”
His eyes shifted to glowing gold. “What do you mean?”
“I want to date at first and see—”
“Date?” A hard edge hit his voice.
I cleared my throat. “We have to get to know each other before we can declare that we’re together forever.”
Power radiated from him, but he kept himself stiff. He closed his eyes and sighed. “This is why I banned my pack from mating with fatals. It’s hard for your kind to understand.”
“Help me,” I whispered.
He opened his eyes. “When we made love in the woods, we sealed our connection.”
I swallowed.
“You are my mate. There will be no other for me. I won’t even be able to get an erection or feel desire for anyone else. But for you, since you’re. . .human, I don’t know what reaction will come.”
“So, it’s like we’re married?”
“Even more.”
“I. . .I need time to understand this.”
“I’ll give you all the time in the world. However,” His fangs poked out of his lips. “If another man comes around you, I will kill him.”
My heart boomed in my ears.
Part of me wanted to give my entire self to him—everything. But then the rest of me was terrified of this hidden world—this unknown life. And there he was, offering me what I always dreamed about having with a man. He offered love and family, forever and all the hot sex to go with it.
But this is all so fast.
I shook my head so that thought would leave. “I was so drunk off of that. . .urine, I forgot to tell you about the pages from earlier.”
He nodded. “What was it about?”
I rose from the bed.
He sneered and tightened his grip on me.
“Give me a minute. I’m going to get them.”
He let me go.
I rushed into my room, grabbed the papers, and returned to bed. “So. . .”
He sat up and turned on the light.
“You’re right. It’s about vampires.” I read where I’d stopped earlier today. “To make them immortal, the two lovers went to the land of shadows. A place hidden by the moon. Where no stars glow. Where stones dripped blood. Where dead bodies floated and rose like ocean waves, where life faded into nightmares.
He leaned toward the paper. “That’s the land of the beginning. It’s where the first people became moon-touched. At that time, it became a desolate place where the dead linger.”
“But where is it?”
“No one knows anymore. What else does this say?”
I read on. “And they made cups from the polished skulls of witches, and they captured shapeshifters and dulled their souls with wine.”
“This is the night that vampires were born.”
A shiver of fear ran through me. “A cruel hunger came. They lived in death never to be the same. They wed for eternity, leaving footsteps all over the fatals’ history.”
“And these are the two lovers?”
“According to this poem.”
He ran his fingers through his hair.
“It goes on and on.”
“What happened to these two lovers?” he asked.
“It’s sad. They fell in love as powerful witches and just wanted their love to never die. When they did this spell, they became immortal, but they fell out of love.”
He gave me an odd
look. “Just like that?”
I read that part. “The bronze one and the golden one never would be the same. The golden one grew sick of old passion and put the bronze one in a cage of flames. She freed herself, yet grieved—”
“Perhaps he never loved her.”
“She definitely loved him.”
“Maybe all he wanted was her power.”
“That’s horrific, and then he tried to kill her.”
“They’re vampires. That’s how they are.”
I handed him the pages. “Either way, I’m not sure of why the witch kept this. Do you think she’s somehow related to them?”
His eyes glowed. “That’s interesting. I never thought of that.”
“Raven is black. This witch in the poem was too.” I shrugged. “It’s a stretch. What happened in this poem occurred thousands of years ago, but as you’ve said, anything is possible in your world.”
“But the witches would still know whose bloodline it is.”
“How?”
“They have their ways. I’ll have to question Raven about this when she wakes up.” He folded the pages, placed them on the nightstand, and shut off the light. “Until then, we have other things to discuss.”
I giggled. “Do we?”
He kissed me. Then, he moved his mouth from mine and kissed his way down my throat. My mind fogged with lust.
“I’ll have to convince you.” Aiden cupped my breast. My nipples grew swollen and hungry. So fucking greedy like they hadn’t felt his mouth just moments ago.
Aiden lapped at those nipples like no other, making me arch my back. With a wicked gaze, he suckled my nipple, and I cried in pleasure.
“I’ll spend my whole life convincing you,” he whispered.
As if under his command, I spread my thighs.
A gasp escaped me as he caressed my sex and strummed my clit like a musical instrument. And I played out music just like one—moaning with the rhythm of his movements.
His breathing turned ragged. He’d just had me orgasm several times in the woods. Now he was shoving me to a higher level of need. “I need to be deep inside you.”
All I could manage was, “Please.”
My legs shook as he got on top of me. His muscular frame hovered over me, so strong and powerful.
“Oh Imani,” he whispered, placing the tip of his cock against my wet pussy’s opening.
My breath caught in my throat as he pushed deep inside of me.
“Could you love me?”
“Yes,” I groaned.
His thickness spread me open. I bit my bottom lip, reaching for his arms and trying to hold on as he pumped. So wild. So full of ecstasy. So intense. Every rigid inch of him. Thick and controlling my body. Powerful and hot.
He maintained his rhythm as he buried his face into my breasts and suckled on my nipples. The cadence of Aiden’s strokes drove me wild. It made me addicted. There would never be another. I knew that with each thrust.
“So wet,” he groaned.
I couldn’t think of anything else but this moment. His body moving against me. Our pleasure rising and combining into one.
“Mine,” he whispered.
“All yours,” I moaned back.
And then howls rose outside of the cabin. Earth-shattering screams came next. Sounds filled the space outside—ripping wood, booming noises, things crashing into each other.
“Fuck!” Aiden pulled out. “Something’s wrong.”
“What?” My heart hammered against my chest.
“I don’t know, but. . .” He rose from the bed in a blur. “Stay here. Someone is near our cabins that isn’t supposed to be.”
Chapter 18
Aiden
My pack’s howls shattered the lovely evening I was having with Imani. Damian barked after that, letting me know that someone was trespassing. Next came earth-shattering screams.
I sniffed the air.
“Witch!”
Noises rose outside—ripping wood, booming sounds, things crashing into each other.
I left the bed. “Stay here. Someone’s near our cabins that isn’t supposed to be.”
Thinking fast, Imani put her clothes back on but remained in the room.
We must kill these witches and keep our mate safe.
Fear mixed with adrenaline as it pumped in my veins. My heart slammed within my ribcage. I had to shift fast.
This is going to hurt.
I raced to the front of the cabin and jumped through the opened doorway, shifting in the air. It was the fastest I’d ever changed in my life. In seconds, fur sprouted. My bones reshaped and formed. My jaw broke, twisted, and lengthened. My fangs tore from my gums. My legs cracked and restitched into my beast. By the time I landed on the ground, I was all wolf, growling at the night air and ready to rip any enemy into shattered bones.
Where are they?
A putrid rotted earth stench hit me. If evil had a scent, this was it. The odor reminded me of spoiled food topped with blood. I inhaled deeper.
My fur rippled with rage. Somehow, they’d tracked my pack’s territory. I thought Sherwin had hidden us good in the mountains, but witches were resourceful creatures. They probably took the blood or fur from the area where Damian and I killed the others. With those items, they could’ve made a spell to locate us.
Damn it. I figured we cleaned up good.
“Kill!”
We will, Conri. We’ll kill them all.
The air crackled.
Two witches appeared in front of me—white hair and dark red eyes. These had warts on the face like the one from days ago. But these witches’ warts were scattered all over their face, giving them a polka dot look that disgusted me down to the bones.
Movement came from behind. I turned around and saw Imani in the doorway with a broom in one hand and a large knife in the other. A fierce look spread across her face. If I was in human form, I would’ve told her to go inside. While I loved her courageous spunk, I couldn’t live with myself if those witches hurt her.
My other wolves stalked out into the moonlight, forming a circle around the witches. I could tell from the shocked looks on the witches’ faces that they hadn’t counted on that many in my pack. They’d probably assumed it was just Damian and me. The Mystic Wars had taken out a lot of packs. While there was a big shifter population, packs were small and scattered around the world.
“Give us the witch, and we’ll leave,” one of the hags said.
I growled, and the rest of my pack growled too.
And then surprisingly, Imani spoke behind me. “I would leave if I were you. You’ll be without the witch, but at least you’ll have your heart in your chest.”
“Mate.”
I laughed inside myself.
A few of my pack barked in agreement with her.
“You smell like him.” The witch who had spoken earlier stepped forward and scrunched her face in disgust. “You’re the alpha’s whore now.”
“It is called a mate,” Imani countered.
“Mate? A Luna is just the Alpha’s whore.”
I growled and prepared to charge the witch.
Unbothered, Imani yelled back, “Leave!”
“Where’s the witch?” the other one asked.
“I don’t know, and I don’t care.” Imani got to my side and pressed her hand into my fur as if trying to calm me.
“Hmmm.” The first witch raised her hands in the air and began to chant, but I wouldn’t make the mistake of letting her finish the spell. I charged for her. My claws extended to slice. My fangs yearned to be painted with her blood.
Blaze followed my lead and attacked the other witch.
Too powerful, they rose fast in the air. “May the Goddess empower! May our power devour!”
They hovered high in the air. Black smoke rose from the ground, swirling out and then shaping into black misty wolf creatures.
“May the shadows rise. May the shadows be their demise.”
My pack jumped in the air and tr
ied to snap at the witches, but we kept missing.
“Devour them!” The witches rose higher out of our reach. “Devour them now!”
Just when I wasn’t sure what we should do to get them down. A broom twirled over me and slammed the first witch in her head. She fell from the air, screaming.
“Mate!”
We picked well.
In seconds, Sherwin and Oliver attacked the fallen witch, giving her no chance to catch her breath. Blood sprayed in the air, filling the space with that rotten earth scent. Oliver ripped off the witch’s head and dragged it out into the woods. Sherwin drove his clawed paw into her chest and tore her heart out.
“May the shadows—” A rock hit the remaining witch in the head before she could say more.
I turned my beast’s head around to see my mate throwing rocks and sticks at the witch. With pride, I circled the area where the witch would fall, drooling, and growling with excitement. Not only had I picked the right mate. We would be rid of this witch soon. Then I would be able to show Imani how much I appreciated her.
“May the shadows rise. May the shadows be their demise.”
A black wolf made from mist with red glowing eyes appeared and charged for me. I snapped at the smoky wolf’s neck and it just evaporated around my fangs and reformed. But when the smoky wolf jumped on my back, I was knocked to the ground like twenty shifters had slammed into me.
Fuck. This thing is powerful.
“May the shadows rise. May the shadows be their demise.” The witch bellowed as Imani hit her with more rocks.
Another smoky wolf formed as I battled the first one.
No. We can’t have more of these. Kill the witch. Kill the witch.
How I wished I could communicate in my wolves’ heads. As if sensing my words. They all focused on destroying her. I fought the black mists, clawing at it and watching it disappear. I charged after the mist. It separated as if not real.
Yet this black ugliness attacked me again, slashing darkness onto my back and burning my beast.
I whined from the pain.
“No!” Imani screamed.
I looked over my shoulder to make sure she didn’t run up to try and save me. If I couldn’t deal with this wolf, she wouldn’t be able to either. I was already worried for her safety.
But when I looked back, I saw her throw the knife up into the air. Everything happened in slow motion. Inch by inch the knife curved, twisted, and rose toward the witch. The evil woman continued to hover. Her eyes were closed as she chanted. More black misty creatures rose.
