He squeezed my shoulder, brushing his finger lightly over the bite mark he’d made the night he’d claimed me. I shivered with pleasure at his gentle touch, my skin prickling with goosebumps. He smiled down at me, and my heart somersaulted as usual.
“You only met me during the last trimester of my pregnancy with Ava, but I was also unusually horny during that entire gestation period.” I winked at him.
He narrowed his eyes. “Really?”
I nodded. “Of course, there was no one to help me with that little problem, since Sven kidnapped me, and didn’t dare touch me in case he hurt the baby.”
Tex leaned in and kissed me softly. “God, I can’t wait to help you with that problem.”
“This is going to be the best pregnancy ever; tons of sugar and sex.”
He chuckled and held the door of the ice cream parlor for me. “Since meeting you, Griff, I didn’t think life could get any better.” He grinned. “But now that I know I have a nymphomaniac omega on my hands, I’m pretty much the luckiest alpha in Sweet Water.”
