Hard to Hold

When Rhys lifted his head, Wolfe mirrored his movement, then kissed the man as Amy grabbed for them. Her short nails dug into his shoulders, and he could tell she was as eager, as anxious as they were.
There would be plenty of time for more foreplay later.
Breaking his mouth from Rhys’s, Wolfe rolled to his back, pulling Amy with him.
“Put me inside you,” he commanded roughly. “Need to feel that slick pussy on my cock.”
Amy was panting as she ground her cunt against his rock-hard length.
“God, baby,” he groaned. “I fucking love when you do that, but if you don’t sit on my cock, I’m gonna lose my mind.”
She moaned as she guided him right where they both needed him. He swallowed her soft moans, kissing her as she took him inch by inch into her body.
Wolfe hissed as pleasure consumed him. The warm, tight clasp of her pussy sent shockwaves slamming into him, electrical pulses firing beneath his skin.
Amy moaned, pulling her mouth back as she pressed her pelvis against him, lifting her ass. Wolfe knew Rhys was behind her, teasing her ass with his tongue.
“Oh, God!” Her eyes closed, her muscles tightening.
“You like that?”
Her head bobbed as she nodded. “Y-yes-s-s.”
Wolfe watched her face, the way she closed her eyes, her mouth open as she gave herself over to the pleasure.
When she started moving again, Wolfe pulled her down to him, her breasts crushed to his chest.
“Take us both, Amy. At the same time.” Although he didn’t phrase it as a question, Wolfe wanted her to agree. He would never do anything she didn’t want.
Her jerky nod had his breath slamming into his chest.
“Tell me,” he instructed. “Say it.”
Her eyes opened and she held his stare. “Yes,” she ground out, her hips lowering over him once more, then rocking forward and back. “I need to feel you both.”
Wolfe met Rhys’s gaze over Amy’s head. The man’s dark eyes were glazed and Wolfe knew he was thinking the same thing. There was no turning back from this. What she was giving them, what they were taking from her was something that would hold them together forever.
Gripping Amy’s hips, Wolfe guided her, pumping his hips as he fucked her from underneath. Her soft moans were fucking music to his ears.
The bed shifted between Wolfe’s legs as Rhys got situated behind her. Wolfe wrapped his arm around Amy’s back, holding her tight to his body.
“Relax for us,” Rhys instructed.
Amy’s head lifted, her breaths sawing in and out of her lungs.
“Just a finger,” Rhys told her.
“Mmmm.” Amy’s nails dug into Wolfe’s shoulders.
“Kiss me,” Wolfe commanded.
Amy lifted her head and Wolfe met her mouth, his lips merging with hers, his tongue delving past her teeth. He was rough, needy, unable to help himself. The thought of him and Rhys inside her at the same time, possessing her in a way no one else in the world ever would, had his body trembling.
Desperate for everything they were willing to give him.
Every damn thing.
Wolfe’s big hand cradled the back of her head and Amy allowed him to shift so that he could own the kiss.
She had accused him of not being dominant enough before, but that certainly wasn’t the case now. He was holding her together, keeping her from shattering in a million pieces, and she wanted more. She wanted them to show her what it meant to be claimed by them. Owned in a way that she wouldn’t run from, she wouldn’t fear. And she knew Wolfe and Rhys were going to do just that.
She welcomed it.
Craved it.
Rhys’s finger pressed into her ass and her body caught fire. It was a feeling she’d never thought she would enjoy, but it was hard to deny as Wolfe filled her pussy and Rhys caused electrical currents to pulse through her from his gentle probing touch.
“More,” she groaned. She was tired of waiting.
The bed shifted and Wolfe once again began fucking her from underneath, his hand gripping her hip, his fingertips digging into her flesh as he pushed up and pulled her down simultaneously. Her clit pressed against his pelvis, supplying the right amount of pressure to have her head spinning.
She heard the sound of a condom wrapper being opened, but she didn’t look back. Her stomach muscles quivered in anticipation, spasms of pleasure racking her entire body as Wolfe continued to fuck her. An effective distraction.
And then the mattress dipped again and Rhys’s lips were on her shoulder. She felt the blunt head of his cock pressing against her back entrance.
“Relax,” he whispered, his lips trailing to her neck. “Let us love you, baby.”
She nodded, although it wasn’t necessary.
Wolfe had stopped moving, but his mouth found hers again, his tongue thrusting against hers, his hand tightening at the back of her head. He was holding her together again and she knew he wasn’t going to let go. He would never let go. They would both keep her in one piece no matter how much she worried otherwise.
The pressure on her asshole sent pain slamming into her, her body tensing.
Wolfe’s hips rocked beneath her as his hand slipped between them. When his thumb pressed on her clit, she focused on that sensation as the pain lessened. The pressure was intense, causing her lungs to seize up.
“Oh, God,” she cried out. “Too much.”
Rhys stilled behind her.
The three of them were breathing hard and she knew they were waiting for her to give the green light.
Turning her head, she found Rhys’s mouth with her own, kissing him, adding another distraction as she pushed back against the intrusion in her ass, taking more of him. He groaned into her mouth and the vibration sent chills racing down her spine. Although she was crushed between them, Amy knew she was in control. That in itself had her body warming again, her pussy clenching around Wolfe’s cock still deep inside her.
“Oh, fuck,” Wolfe hissed. “Milk my dick, darlin’. Oh, yeah. Just like that.” He groaned, his fingertips digging into her hips again.
Pulling back from Rhys, Amy pushed her hips back hard.
She cried out as she took Rhys’s cock deep into her ass. Both men stopped moving as her body stretched painfully tight. The pain was unlike anything she’d ever known, humming through every nerve ending. But she still wanted more. She couldn’t explain it, probably never would be able to. She was in the moment, overcome by sensation. Pain and pleasure warred within her, but having Rhys and Wolfe there… It was everything. It made her fearless, frantic for everything they would give her.
“Fuck me,” she whimpered, desperate to give herself over to them.
They’d allowed her to control this and now it was their turn. Amy wanted to know what it felt like for these two men to possess her in the most basic way.
Glancing down at Wolfe, Amy sucked air into her lungs. “I’m ready for … everything.”
Rhys’s cock was lodged to the hilt inside Amy’s tight ass. The pain it caused was both heaven and hell, but he never wanted it to end.
Shifting his hips slightly, he pulled back, pushed in. In, out, he began a slow rocking motion as an all-out assault on his body happened from the strangling grip of her ass. He could feel Wolfe’s cock through the thin barrier inside her body and it was unlike anything he’d ever felt.
Not like this.
Never like this.
“More!” Amy cried out, her hips slamming back against him.
Rhys gave her more, punching his hips forward while Wolfe moved beneath her.
“Yes…” She whimpered again. “Please … don’t stop. I need … more.”
Her words alone were bringing Rhys dangerously close to the edge. With his hands on her hips, Rhys began pumping into her, pulling her back against him. He met Wolfe’s stare over Amy’s shoulder, saw the pleasure glittering in Wolfe’s eyes. The man was feeling the same thing Rhys was.
Pure
fucking ecstasy.
The best damn drug in the entire world.
This woman between them, begging for more, her body hot, demanding, and so fucking sweet.
She was going to send him over the edge before he ever got going.
Knowing he was dangerously close, Rhys began fucking her, driving in deeper, harder. Her soft moans echoed in the room, combined with his rough breaths and Wolfe’s soft words of encouragement.
“That’s it, darlin’. You feel so fucking good. Aww, God, yes…” Wolfe jerked his hips, driving up into her.
Rhys couldn’t keep a steady rhythm as his body caught fire, soaring on a plane of sheer sensation. It coursed through his veins, thrummed beneath his skin, buzzed in his ears.
“Fuck…” he groaned. “Amy … baby…” Rhys fucked her for all he was worth as her body milked him, tightening around his cock.
“That’s it, darlin’. Come for us,” Wolfe crooned. “Come for us so we can come inside you. Deep inside you.”
Amy screamed, her body trembling, her muscles clamping down.
Her orgasm triggered his own, and Rhys could hardly breathe as Wolfe reached down, his hand gripping Rhys’s thigh as he, too, let himself go.
Half an hour later, after Rhys had caught his breath and Amy had drifted off to sleep, Rhys realized he couldn’t keep still. They had just engaged in what was the most intense, life-altering sex of Rhys’s entire life. He needed to burn off some of the energy and sleeping wasn’t an option.
So, after disposing of the condom, then gently cleaning Amy with a washcloth and tucking her beneath the blankets, Rhys had slipped out of the bedroom with Wolfe right behind him.
As though thinking the same thing, they made their way into the kitchen. Rhys grabbed a bottle of water, and Wolfe proceeded to pull out the ingredients for sandwiches.
“How do you see this playin’ out?” Rhys asked as Wolfe placed bologna and cheese on the counter. “I mean really playin’ out.”
Rhys needed to know. Was this forever for them? Were they moving forward? Permanently?
Turning to face Rhys, Wolfe studied him while Rhys waited patiently for the wisdom the man would impart.
“One day at a time,” he said, his tone ringing with honesty.
It shouldn’t have surprised him that Wolfe would say that. The man was a laid-back country boy. Their motto seemed to be one day at a time.
“Is it that easy?” Rhys didn’t believe it was. How could it be?
If he went public with a relationship with these two, he would stir up a world of shit in their small town. People talked, they judged, they assumed shit they had no business assuming.
Wolfe shook his head but moved closer, cupping Rhys’s face with his hands. Admittedly, Rhys loved when he did that, exerting his dominance, making Rhys feel as though control was not his to have. He’d never wanted that before, so he didn’t understand why he wanted it from Wolfe, but he did.
“It’s not supposed to be easy,” Wolfe stated firmly. “It’s supposed to be worth it.”
“It is,” Rhys agreed. “Worth it, I mean.”
He could admit that much. He hadn’t been blowing smoke up their asses when he said he loved them. He did. That didn’t mean he wasn’t scared shitless about where this was headed or how it would play out.
“It’s not like we’ll take out a billboard ad,” Wolfe stated, his tone reassuring. “Let’s go about our business. One day at a time.”
Wolfe leaned in and kissed him before Rhys could come up with a rebuttal. Rhys would’ve come up with something; however, he got the feeling Wolfe wasn’t finished talking.
The kiss lingered for a minute, maybe two. Long enough that Rhys relaxed somewhat.
“I want more than sex,” Wolfe told him. “I want you and Amy in my bed every damn night.”
“Your bed? Why not my bed?”
Wolfe pulled back, locking his eyes with Rhys’s. “Is that what you want? Because I’ll do it. We don’t have to live here.”
“You’d really do that?” Rhys had figured Wolfe would have balked at the idea.
Wolfe took a step back and Rhys waited for the argument, for the man to tell him it wasn’t what he wanted.
“I’ll do whatever I have to in order to hold on to you and Amy. That’s all there is to it.” He waved his hand around his house. “This is nothing more than brick and wood, Rhys. It’s not what’s gonna keep us together.”
Rhys sighed. Damn it. Why did Wolfe have to be so damn logical? “I know it’s not. And I’m not hell-bent on my house. I’ll sell the damn thing. It makes no difference to me. But…”
It wasn’t even really about the house. He had no personal attachment to the damn thing. What he really wanted to know was, “Do you think we’re movin’ too fast?”
One minute it felt like they were; the next Rhys felt as though they weren’t moving fast enough. From the instant Wolfe had called and invited Rhys to the range with him and Amy, things had been moving at the speed of light. Add to that the fact that Amy was running from a crazy fucker, and Rhys felt as though he was swimming in quicksand, fighting to get his feet beneath him but it never happened. Yet when they were apart, he wanted to be with them.
Wolfe shrugged. “Maybe.”
“Think maybe we could slow the horse a bit?”
“Me, personally?” Wolfe shrugged. “I don’t want to slow down. I want to let the momentum carry me where it’s supposed to.”
Rhys saw the truth in Wolfe’s eyes. When the man had said he was all in, he hadn’t been bluffing.
“I’m gonna ask Amy to move in with me,” Wolfe admitted. “I want you here with us, but I get it. I do. You’re the sheriff; you’ve got a reputation to uphold. I’m not lookin’ to destroy that.”
“Goddamn,” Rhys bit out as he turned away from Wolfe, sliding his hand over his hair. “Why am I makin’ this so damn complicated? It’s not, is it?”
When Rhys turned back, Wolfe was grinning. “It’s not.”
Neither of them moved for several tense seconds.
Rhys had to spend some time working this out in his head. That’s how he operated. He couldn’t make a decision right now. If he followed his heart, that would be easy, but he needed to give it some serious thought.
“One day at a time,” Wolfe said. “That’s all we can do.”
Rhys nodded.
Turning away from Rhys, Wolfe chuckled. “And I expect you’ll start to enjoy goin’ to sleep in my bed every night and wakin’ up there every mornin’.”
Rhys barked out a laugh. It was always so damn easy for Wolfe.
Wolfe glanced over his shoulder. “After all, I fully intend to make it worth your while.”
“Do you now?”
“Oh, I definitely do.”
No doubt Wolfe would.
“So, how many—”
Before Wolfe could ask whatever he wanted to ask, Rhys’s phone rang. He glanced down at the screen, noticing it was one of his deputies.
“Sheriff Trevino,” he answered quickly, glancing over at Wolfe.
“Sir, we’ve got a fatality accident. Car plowed into a tree out here on 95. She’s wearin’ a shield. I figure you’re probably gonna want to come out here for this.”
Fatality accident? In his town? Even if Dean hadn’t mentioned the badge, Rhys would’ve questioned it. Sure, they had plenty of accidents on their stretch of 95. With a speed limit of sixty-five on the winding road, it wasn’t always pretty. But a fatality? It would be the first since he took office, and a sense of dread skated down Rhys’s spine when he asked, “What’s the make and model of the car?”
“White Ford Taurus. Single female driver.”
The breath rushed out of his lungs as he stared at Wolfe.
“How long ago did this happen?” Rhys asked.
“It looks like … Well, it looks like she’s been here for a little bit. An hour or so? Chris was out patrolling and saw skid marks.”
Shit. “I’ll ... I’m on my way.”
r /> “What’s wrong?” Wolfe asked, standing directly in front of him
Hanging up, Rhys swallowed hard. “It’s … uh…”
He couldn’t even get the words out before he leaned over, breathing deep as he tried to keep from losing it.

__________
“Hey,” Wolfe greeted Lynx when Rhys took off out the door like his ass was on fire.
It had taken a couple of minutes to get the man to share the details of the call, and once he had, Wolfe understood his sudden panic. In fact, it had triggered his own.
“What’s up?”
“Where you at?”
“Home. Why?”
“We got a problem.” Wolfe went on to explain what Rhys had told him, trying to keep his voice low so that he didn’t wake Amy. He and Rhys had decided they’d try to find a way to explain this to her without sending her spiraling into a full-blown panic attack. He knew he probably needed to do so now, but until Rhys confirmed what was going on, they’d decided it was better to keep her in the dark.
Not that either of them liked it, but he knew it was necessary.
“Son of a fucking bitch,” Lynx roared. “I need to call Reagan. Fuckin’ A.”
Without another word, Lynx disconnected the call and Wolfe stared at his phone. Less than a minute later, the damn thing was ringing again.
“You get ahold of her?”
“Fuck no. I just hope like hell it’s ’cause she’s pissed at me. I’m on my way to Amy’s right now.”
Wolfe heard a familiar ding-ding-ding that said Lynx was getting into his truck.
“Let me know when you get her.”
When the call disconnected that time, Wolfe tossed his phone on the counter.
His eyes slid to the shotgun sitting in the corner, and he pushed off the counter and headed over to it. He double-checked to ensure it was loaded, then set it back down.
If the devil himself showed up on Wolfe’s doorstep tonight, he was going to regret ever fucking with the woman Wolfe loved.
And if by chance he didn’t show up, if he was merely playin’ a game, Wolfe knew it would be time to implement plan B. After all, his aunt had married into a pretty powerful family. A family who would take no shit from anyone. And he knew exactly which cousin he needed to call to help him on this.
