Legacies of Love: Six Seductive Stories to Steal Your Heart

“I can honestly say you’re the only one who counts, the only one I feel good about giving myself to.”

He froze over me, staring into my eyes, caressing my cheek with the back of his hand. “That’s really sweet, baby.”

“It’s true. The other guy was during college. He was more of a convenience than anything else.”

  “Did you love him?”

  “No.”

  “Good to know.”

He moved against me. My eyes began to close but I wanted to know about his relationship history. I could’ve waited until after our act of intimacy was finished but figured why postpone feeding into my nagging curiosity?

“What about you? Any past loves?”

“None. One ex, many women—none of them meant shit.” He kissed my lips. “Until now.”

I melted under him. I’m talking a pile of mush on the bed.

He reached between us and tugged my underwear down. He got on his knees while I bent mine to remove the thin piece of fabric.

“That’s more like it.” His attention remained fixed between my slightly parted thighs.

Before climbing back over me, he made a pit stop. Mmm, heaven. He glided his tongue between my folds. It reminded me of Foley trying to touch me a few hours prior, which immediately had me drawing my muscles together.

“Abigail?” He peered up at me.

  “I’m fine.” Not really.

“Don’t give him power in your mind. Then he wins.”

How did he know what I was thinking?

He was correct in what he said, but his request wasn’t easy to execute.

Gabe scooted higher, kissing me instead. I loved how he read my cues.

I wrapped my legs around his waist.

  We kissed.

  We kissed some more.

Our tongues meshed together in every way imaginable. He began to probe at my entrance. My body welcomed him. He felt so smooth gliding in, the texture so much better than when latex covered him. Still, he kept things slow to allow my body to adjust to his large size.

  “You feel like heaven, Abby.”

Seemed Gabe had slipped out of character. I was being called Abby during the actual act.

  “You do too.”

It became difficult to catch my breath. With each thrust forward, he hit that sweet spot deep inside me.

He flipped us over, me now on top, never breaking the connection between our mouths and bodies.

“Does this position hurt your thighs?”

Holy cow. Gabe was so frickin’ thoughtful.

  “No. It feels amazing.”

In fact, it did it for me. Nothing like being in control of the speed, depth, and pace. He gripped my hips, bringing me down hard after every upward movement. When he pinched my nipple, I threw my head back, moaning his name, chanting it.

“That’s it, Abby, take all of me.”

There was nothing I wanted more.

Gabe lifted his head to my breast, gently biting on my nipple, painful pleasure shooting through me.

Leaning forward, splaying my hands on the mattress on both sides of his head, I continued to ride him, grinding my clit against him, our damp skin slapping with every thrust downward.

Our lips met. We breathed each other’s air.

  “I’m there, Gabe.”

The words alone set me off, catapulting me into a universe that didn’t have all my current stressors in it. For that brief period, I was removed and freed from all my responsibilities, obligations, and all the shit I would have to deal with the following day after my blowout with Foley.

“Uhhh.” Gabe grunted in my ear, coming along with me, the two of us soaring to a higher plane.

Panting, I rested my head on his chest. He rubbed my back.

“It’s everything it’s cracked up to be.”

His comment made me giggle. “I couldn’t agree more.”

“I’m just happy I don’t have to put any planning into when I want to fuck you anymore. No more condoms for us, babe. I’m a happy camper.”

  Silly man.

“What do you say we finish up? Sadly, I don’t have to wake up bright and early tomorrow morning for work, but you still do.” I frowned at my new reality, frustrated I no longer had a job.

“I hate to have to tell you this, but I don’t think you’ll be sleeping in tomorrow morning. If I have this spectacular body of yours next to mine when I wake up, trust me when I say you’ll be getting up as well—more like getting off.” He grinned, his boyishness on full display.

“I’m sorry to say that doesn’t sound like a threat, more like a promise I’d like you to make, and one I’ll take you up on.”

“I do like the way you think.”

  “You already said that.”

“And I’ll continue to say it. I like the way you think, Abby.” He winked at me, tapped my ass, and rolled me off him. He climbed off the bed, and I watched him dress. I loved the musculature of his chest, the dips and valleys of definition in it. I could totally get used to waking up to that sight every morning.

Living with him is only temporary.

My thoughts always had to be party poopers.

He left for the bathroom to wash up. I climbed off the bed, collected my clothing, and joined him so I could clean up as well. While in the bathroom, I gathered my belongings from the vanity and placed them in my hamper. I hadn’t been prepared for a fast move so didn’t have boxes, but beggars can’t be choosers. Gabe and I used whatever we could think of to stuff things into. It took a solid two hours until we had all my stuff in his apartment, scattered all over the den. I assured him I would organize it while he was at work.

Both of us were overheated and spent. We took a quick shower to wash off the residual sex and sweat from our bodies before turning in for the night. My eyes closed as soon as I hit the pillow.

  ****

Gabe made good on his promise of waking me up and ravishing my body, and at 5:30 in the morning, mind you. He said he had a session downstairs in the gym with his trainer. I opted out of joining them, wanting to give my ankle some healing time.

He came upstairs after he finished, arms and pecs pumped, ripples upon ripples of deliciousness, a towel wrapped around his neck. Wow. I couldn’t take my eyes off him. The man was packed from head to toe, a solid ten. My mind wanted more sleep, but my body had other ideas. He left for the bathroom, and I joined him in the shower.

“Well, hello there.” He lit up upon seeing me enter the glass enclosure. “Your cheek looks better, nice and flushed. Why don’t you tell me why your cheeks are flushed, Abby?” He raised a brow, flirtation in his voice.

They probably flushed even more as a result of his comment.

“Got me.” I shrugged, not giving him an inch.

“I didn’t mean to wake you.” He rolled his finger down my chest, between my breasts.

“I beg to differ. You knew exactly what you were doing when you walked into the bedroom, looking all sexy and buff.” He flexed his bicep, and I touched it. “You’re so strong, so muscly. It’s hot.” The ultimate turn-on.

“I’ll tell you one muscle of mine that could use another workout about now.” He pointed to his erection, not that he needed to. It definitely stood out, or I should say up, between us.

I sank to my knees and took him in my mouth without pause. The water rained down over me. I closed my eyes, delighting in everything Gabe.

“Come here, Abigail.” He assisted me into a standing position.

Hurrah! He wanted my alter-ego Abigail to play. That would be my new distinction between the good and bad girl sides of me.

He spun me around, mindful of my ankle. “Hands on the wall.”

  Yes, sir.

Down on his knees, he slapped my ass, surprising me, and I jerked. I knew it wasn’t meant to hurt or out of anger. It was more sexual in nature, and strangely enough, I delighted in it.

He widened my stance, shifting my legs a bit.

“One day I will have y
ou here.” He circled his finger between my butt cheeks. I tensed. He chuckled. “But not yet. I want you to be prepared before I have you that way. For now, I’ll take you this way.” His tongue dove between my folds. He spread them, licking me, probing me, alternating between using his tongue and finger to torment me. One would work my clit while the other worked my channel. Then his finger and tongue would switch places.

He shifted into a seated position on the tile, feet touching. “I want you to ride me. Come sit your beautiful ass right here.” He raised his brows suggestively and gripped his erection, stroking himself. “I meant your pussy. Your ass will be saved for another time.” He smiled.

Facing him and holding on to his shoulders, I placed one foot on each side of him and sank to my knees. I didn’t put much weight on the bad ankle. Sure, it felt better to the hundredth degree, but I didn’t want to press my luck. I lined myself up and came down hard upon him, enveloping him with my arms, legs, and walls.

Our bodies were entwined, hands skimming, tongues swirling, bodies enmeshed—all of it magical, an illusion where no tricks were involved. What you saw was what you got.

He bit on my nipple, tugged on it, teased it. I arched my back, offering more, aching for the pleasurable discomfort. I may not have fancied the public areas of Hilltops, as in putting my body out there for others to see and touch, but it didn’t mean this type of rough play in private didn’t get me off—only with Gabriel, though.

  “Turn around for me, Abigail.”

  Huh?

He positioned my body how he wanted it: me on all fours, his hips thrusting into me from behind. This was new for me. Pretty much most of what we’d done together in bed so far was new for me. My college whatever-the-hell-he-was had been boring in the sack, a missionary man—far from the religious type, but one who tried to overtly convert others to his point of view. Jackass. Once in a blue moon I would get the privilege of being in control. Gabriel was like a frickin’ pretzel when it came to sex, twisting our bodies into various positions, all of them yummy.

My hands had trouble gaining traction on the wet tile. Gabe encouraged me to lean my chest on the floor with my hips hiked up so I wouldn’t slip. He repositioned himself and continued to do his thing. I kept my arm extended out in front of me, not wanting to crash into the wall since our bodies inched toward it from the propelling movements.

Two of his fingers rolled over my clit, causing my eyes to roll back. “Yes!”

“That’s it. Come for me, Abigail.”

  “Gabe!”

My body exploded around him, my head too heavy to lift, my body sinking lower. He slipped out. I reached behind me and stroked him, my eyes still blind with ecstasy. He thrust his hips into my palm. I used every bit of strength I had to flip over so I could finish him off with my mouth.

“Fuck, yes.” He held my head, scooping my hair into a bun so he could watch me. “You’re so fucking sexy. Your body, your mind, your heart—everything about you.”

He fed my ego well. Any self-doubt I’d had in the past about being naked in front of a man had all but left the building.

When he tightened in my mouth, I sucked harder, wanting to drink him in, and boy did I. He shot out and I swallowed every bit, delighting in the fact that I had made him come so hard.

His body shivered as he carefully withdrew from my mouth and milked the remnants out of his softening erection. “Now that’s what I call starting the day with a bang.”

I kissed him, cleaned up, and then left him to finish showering on his own. I had other plans. While he dressed, I made him breakfast.

He strolled into the kitchen looking dapper, smelling divine. “What’s this?”

“Breakfast. You expended a lot of energy this morning.”

“That I did.” He pulled me into his arms and planted a soft kiss on my lips. “I could get used to this.” He took a bite of the egg sandwich I’d prepared for him. “Mmm, this tastes great. I’m usually not a morning eater.”

“That’s too bad,” I replied, gazing up at him from under my lashes.

  “Damn, woman. You’re killing me.”

I giggled. “I made coffee too.” I handed him a mug of fresh brew.

“How about a cup of ice for me to sink my dick into instead?”

He laughed along with me this time.

“Thank you for all this. I appreciate it. What are your plans for the day?” He took a sip. “Shit. It’s hot.” He exhaled and fanned his open mouth. The cup got placed on the counter next to the plate with the egg sandwich.

  “You okay?”

“Yup. I’m great.” The corners of his mouth turned up, making me feel better. I didn’t want the poor guy to have that icky burned tongue sensation all day because of me.

Exhaling a sigh of dread, I replied to his question, “I’ve debated about whether to call the agency. As much as I’m afraid to hear what my supervisor has to say regarding Foley, and more importantly, find out whether I have still have a job, I think it should come from me that I will no longer be working for him. Then I’ll get busy in the living room organizing all my stuff.”

“No rush. Foley? Is that the old guy’s name?”

I supposed I had never mentioned it to him before. “Yup. That’s the jerk’s name.”

“And you say he’s a developer, right?”

  “Yeah, why?”

The wheels were turning in Gabe’s head. I could see it.

  “It’s nothing that concerns you.”

With my hand on my hip, I let him know by my posture and expression I didn’t believe him.

“Give me some time to check things out.”

  “What kind of things?”

“Things I’m unclear on.” He glanced at the clock on the oven. “It’s getting late. I have to head out. Let me know if Foley tries to contact you and what happens with the temp agency. Speaking of which, do you have my number?”

My mouth fell open. “Oh my God, I don’t. How horrible. And you don’t have mine either!”

“Not to worry, babe. I usually don’t take numbers of the women I sleep with anyway.” His eyes lit up along with his cocky smile

  “Jerk.” I teasingly slapped him.

He pulled me into his arms and kissed me, and it wasn’t a peck on the lips either. I’m talking the real deal.

When he released me, I was out of breath, and it took me a few seconds to get my bearings.

  He chuckled.

“It would be best for all involved if you vacated the premises. If you don’t, I can’t be held accountable for my actions, and I can guarantee you’ll be late for work.”

“Tease. And here I said you have a good heart. You are being mighty cruel right now, Abby.”

He reached into a drawer in the kitchen and scribbled his number on a square sticky note. “Here”—he stuck the note on the counter next to his plate—“put my number in your phone then give me a call so I can save yours.”

“Will do. Have a great day.”

“You as well.” He turned and left for the front door.

  “Wait! What about your sandwich?”

“There’s only one thing I want to eat right now, and it’s definitely not the eggs.”

He had such a wonderful way with words.

I wrapped the sandwich in a paper towel and took it to him. “Here.”

“Thank you.” He kissed my cheek, my other cheek, my lips…aah.

“Now who’s being a tease?” I asked, breathless already.

“Seems you can dish it out, but you can’t take it.”

Just for his sassy comment, I dished out another plateful of flirty behavior. “Oh, I enjoy taking it from you, Gabe—very much so.”

  “Fuck.”

“Hold that thought until later.” I winked and opened the door for him, batting my eyelashes.

“Later? Now I have a fucking hard-on and have to walk to my car.”

  “Think of something else.”

“How about the many ways I want to fuck
you until tomorrow?”

“And here I thought you already did.”

He exhaled and grabbed his chest. “Abby. Abby. Abby.”

“Go to work.” I shoved him toward the hallway.

“Damn, be forceful why don’t you? Hey, you know what?”

“What?” I cocked my head to the side.

“The best part about going to work is that when I get home, you’ll be here.”

That was it. Game over. He’d won the match. I slouched in defeat. “You’re so sweet.”

He winked at me and gave me a final kiss, leaving me speechless and with flutters in my heart.

  ****

The apartment was quiet without him in it. I took a hot shower and phoned the agency, requesting to speak with my supervisor.

“Abigail, I’m so glad you called. You were actually on my list of phone calls to make this morning.”

I was? Shit! That can’t be good.

“I received a call from Mr. Foley. He made some strong allegations against you. Would you be able to come to the office so we can talk in private?”

“Allegations?” What the hell kind of allegations could he possibly make against me?

“I think it would be better if we spoke in person.”

I dropped my butt on the couch, suddenly feeling beyond overwhelmed. “Umm, sure. I can be there in about half an hour.”

I threw on a pair of slacks and a button-down, applied a bit of makeup, and headed to Temp Easy, my nerves getting worse by the minute. Thoughts ran rampant in my mind about what game Foley was trying to play with me. Hell, my life.

By the time I arrived at the office I was a jittery mess and in need of another shower to wash off the perspiration seeping out from every pore in my body. A disgusting visual. Felt as such too.

My supervisor, Jessica, called me into her office as soon as I entered the main waiting area. My heart fell into the pit of my stomach.

  “What happened to your ankle?”

I still had a slight limp.

“Oh, I twisted it. It’s nothing.” I brushed it off.

She eyed me curiously as I took a seat opposite her desk.

“You said on the phone you wanted to speak to me in private.” My intestines couldn’t knot up more if they wanted too.
