The Dirty Dozen: MC Edition

I gnaw on my bottom lip as worry sits heavy in the pit of my stomach knowing she just wants someone to be there for her. For her to actually hand out her number to someone she must know he is supposed to be someone to her, she calls it the lightning effect. She has talked about the lightning effect for so long she even had me wondering a time or two if it was real. My eyes drift towards the wall where I know he is standing and tingles race through me once again when my eyes hit his. The girls and I used to tease her when she used to say she would know by just a look who the right guy for her was because it would be like lightning zapping through her every cell. We used to say she read too many instant love romance novels growing up to have such a belief, but right now as a warm feeling settles into my veins I wonder if there is any truth to it. Shaking my head, I focus back on Callie pushing the stupid feeling away. Nothing like that exists. It’s only true with fictional characters. Worry washes over my nerves that the alcohol has made her too forward, and she isn’t really feeling what she thinks she is. Maybe she has gotten her wires crossed. Crossing my fingers in my lap I watch as he leans down and whispers something in her ear, she tilts her head to the side and I feel a smile pull at my lips when I see her fingers crossed at her back. Looking towards the girls I notice they are all watching how this will turn out but I quickly turn back to Callie when the girls’ faces drop.
“Fuck,” Tilly spits out.
Callie’s head is bowed and her shoulders shake a little and I notice the guy isn’t standing there anymore.
“Ah shit,” Ava grits out.
“Son of a bitch,” Holly jumps from her chair and races towards her and I’m only a couple of steps behind her.
Wrapping my arms around her she buries her head into the crock of my neck and I feel her tears as they hit my chest.
“What happened, babe?” I whisper into her ear. Shaking her head, she wraps her arms tighter around me and grips the back of my nightie.
“I’ll cut that piece of shits dick off,” Holly grits out from beside us and I nod seeing the other girls come up to us.
“Whose dick you cutting off now woman?” a deep gruff voice says from behind us making me look over my shoulder and I’m greeted with narrowed green eyes. I shrink a little under his stare. He must see my reaction because in a flash those eyes soften. He swings his head towards the stares and the hard eyes are back. Something like a calmness rushes through me when I realize it’s not me he was pissed at.
“Pyro that fuck wit made Callie cry,” Holly grits out and I look over and notice her hands are fisted at her sides. She’s pissed.
“Who Shadow?” Pyro grunts out folding his arms across his chest and I realize the size difference between us girls compared to these men but oddly I don’t feel intimidated. I feel my brows knit together in confusion. Weird.
“I don’t know the wanker’s name. All I know is Callie is a sweet girl and for her to give her number to a guy and for him to make her feel like shit enough to cry, then he is a piece of shit,” she turns her back on Pyro and I watch his nose flare as I run my hand up and down Callie’s back hearing her sniff. Ava leans in and wipes her eyes with a napkin. He runs a frustrated hand through his hair as his eyes travel up and down her body as if he doesn’t know what to say to her making me laugh a little. Holly may be small like the rest of us, but she has no filter and whatever she is feeling she will make sure you know about it, and she doesn’t give two shits what you think.
“Listen here Spitfire,” he gruffs out.
“O-Oh” before I can warn him that maybe he should step back Holly whirls around and goes toe to toe with the Hulk beast.
“Shit,” Tilly bites out.
A gasp comes from the rest of us including Callie but I see the smile Callie is trying to hide.
“Listen here buddy I don’t give a shit about your rules or your bro code,” she does air quotes and I wince getting worried now as people stop what they are doing and stare. A deep growl from my side rumbles out getting everyone's attention making them move along quickly. Looking up I realize how close Razor is to me now and I can’t help breathing in the scent of leather and something wild that has the hairs on my neck standing up. Looking over at him he smirks and winks at me and I feel heat travel up my neck. Damn.
“Nobody makes my friends cry. If he didn’t want her number I’m sure there was a nice way of telling her without making her cry. Callie is a sweet girl and it took a lot of courage.”
“And alcohol,” Ava throws in.
“And a lot of alcohol for her to do what she did,” she eyes him up and down, slamming her hands on her hips as if she is daring him to say different. After a few moments where they just stare at each other, I wait for the first blow to come and for him to start shouting about learning her place but my jaw just about hits the floor with his next words.
“You’re right, but since he is a brother you can’t cut his dick off,” he shrugs as if in apology.
“Well, what can I do?” she questions but I notice some of the fight has left her. He must realize it too because a smirk curled his lips as a deep laugh rumbled up his throat. Quicker than any of us can move he wraps a hand around her neck pulling her flush up against him and slams his mouth down against hers. My jaw drops for the second time tonight and I try not to laugh as Holly seems to be in shock and then I feel heat hit my face again as she wraps her arms around his neck falling into the kiss. She goes up on her tippy toes, lifting her off the ground by the ass. I bite my lip from laughing when I hear the girls carrying on beside us as Callie sighs wistfully from beside me
“Well, hot damn.”
“Oh yeah.”
The drunk twins Ava and Peyton say in unison dramatically fanning their faces and pretending to fall into each other's arms. Tilly acts quickly catching them both before they hit the floor. A deep chuckle vibrates down my spine and my eyes snap up to Razors as heat bursts through me when I see the hungry look in the green depths of his eyes.
“You’re gorgeous,” his gruff voice slides over me like silk but I don’t know how to respond so all I can do is nod.
Moving slowing I watch as he lifts his hand, I stand stock-still as he reaches for me and I grip Callie tighter to me. My body relaxes a little when she squeezes me back letting me know she is there. The tip of his finger pushes the center of my glasses so they slide back up my nose.
“I have never seen eyes like yours before,” he husks out as if talking to himself and I shrug my shoulders. I haven’t met anyone with eyes like mine before either. One of my eyes is green where the other is blue it’s called heterochromia iridis it’s a variety of color within a single iris and it’s relatively rare in humans and resulted from increased or decreased pigmentation of the iris well that’s what my optometrist told me.
“They’re intoxicating,” he gruffs out tucking my hair behind my ear, I bite back a moan as his rough fingers graze my ear as shivers race through me at the simple touch.
What the hell is happening to me? And why do I like his touch so much?
“Let me handle Shadow, Spitfire,” I hear Pyro husk out and I’m amazed I can hear anything around me but sure enough the music is still pumping, people are dancing and having a great time. Here I am as if I’m in my own little world staring into green eyes that send goosebumps racing over my overheated flesh.
“Why don’t you girls go dance?”
“Um yeah... sure,” my head snaps to Hollys when she agreed so easily and holy shit, I never thought I would ever see the day. She has been kissed into submission. Looking towards the girls they seem as gobsmacked as me.
“Oh, and Spitfire we will finish this off later,” he winks.
“Well damn,” I mumble making Callie laugh.
“I need to go help make sure Pyro doesn’t kill Shadow for making your friend cry,” he chuckles before adding running the web of his hand over his beard. “Well maybe not before I knock some sense into the prick too,” he smirks. My breath ca
tches in my throat at the sexy curl of his lips and I can’t help chewing on my bottom lip.
“What’s your name gorgeous?”
Without thought, my mouth pops open and my name slips past my lips “Alexis.”
Friggin hell what is wrong with me? I never tell anyone my name but for some reason, I couldn’t stop myself, I wanted him to know my name.
“Later Alexis.” my name slips off his tongue like liquid sin and I have to squeeze my knees together when they begin to shake.
CHAPTER FOUR
Razor
“You piece of shit,” I grunt pushing through the door of the office upstairs with Pyro coming in behind me clicking his tongue.
“What’s up?” Mercy grunts throwing the file in his hands across the desk and pushing to his full height. The fucker doesn’t intimidate me, but he has my fucking respect, so I give him a chin lift.
“That fucker over there,” I point towards Shadow who is balancing his chair on two legs with his feet pressed up against the edge of the desk.
“What the fuck did I do?” he lifts his eyes to mine pushing his long-ass hair back.
“We watched you brush off that sexy little chick downstairs after she gave you her number.”
“What, so you thought you would come up here and bust my balls about some slutty chick?” he grunts rolling his shoulders. “Nothing wrong with the sweetbutts back at the clubhouse if I wanted someone like that,” before he can say another word Pyro has him up against the wall by the shirt.
“Let me tell you something brother that girl you brushed off downstairs came with six other girls and not once have I seen her over any other bloke or handed out her number.”
“What the fuck ever,” Shadow rolls his eyes. “Get the fuck off me.”
“Seriously Pyro, let him the fuck go,” Mercy barks out. “So, some bitch gave him her number are you really going to kick his ass over some pussy?” Mercy shakes his head but doesn’t try to step in between.
“Ah VP these girls aren't like the normal crowd we usually get in here.”
“What the fuck does that even mean?” Shadow grunts out.
“It means fuck-stick that you need to get your head on straight and not think every girl dressed like that is a fucking slut. You left that girl in tears,” Pyro spits in his face. “And just incase you forgot it’s a theme fucking party so of course the women are dressed up fucker. Think real hard what the theme is and see if that clicks in that fucked up head of yours.”
“Shit,” he grunts as Pyro releases him.
“Yeah shit,” I grunt. “Fuck mate we are not saying call the chick but you could have at least brushed her off better than that,” we may be fucking bikers but when it comes to women, we show fucking respect.
“What the fuck did you say to her?” this comes from Mercy.
He shakes his head as if he doesn’t want to answer but opens his mouth anyways. “Fuck, I don’t know my heads fucked up with all this shit, so I may have said something along the lines of if I get sick of the sweetbutts back home I might give her a call,” he runs a hand through his hair and looks anywhere but at us.
“What the fuck else?” Pyro spits out in a no-bullshit way.
“Fuck,” he grits his teeth blowing out a hard breath. “She gave me this look like I stole her fucking puppy, so I told her not to act like I was the only guy she handed out her number to,” he pauses a beat before more shit spews from his fucked-up mouth. “And I asked her what number on the bedpost would I be.”
“What the fuck?” I roar.
“So, you basically called her a slut and walked away,” Mercy shakes his head. “Brother, I thought you had more respect than that, you want to be a moody cunt then be one but for fuck sakes, we are trying to raise money for charity tonight or have you forgotten?” he spits out running a hand over his head.
“Well according to her Spitfire of a friend her name is Callie and it took her a lot of courage.”
“And alcohol,” I throw in remembering that little tidbit being thrown in downstairs.
“Yeah what he said,” Pyro nods. “To give you her phone number, so I hope you’re happy with yourself,” he grunts out. “On that note, if you will excuse me, talking about the little Spitfire, I have to get my ass downstairs and make sure she’s not causing a fucking riot with the way you left her friend.”
Gorgeous dual-colored eyes and a shy blush creeping up sun-kissed skin flashes through my mind and I can’t stop the sneer curling my lips that this fucker may have ruined my chances of knowing this girl because he wants to be a moody prick.
“What has you looking like you wanna kill someone fucker?” Mercy grunts out.
“Well because of this cock sucker,” I point to Shadow “he just made it extra hard for the guys that actually want to get to know the little bunny rabbits’ friends.” I tilt my head as my eyes narrow on dickhead.
“Bunny rabbit?”
“Yeah bunny rabbit, and she’s about the size of one,” I smirk. “I might just go see if I can find a guy that may be worthy of her time.” I curl my lip into a wicked smile when I see Shadows throat bob understanding my meaning.
“You had your chance fuck-stick,” Pyro throws over his shoulder as heads out the door making me laugh.
“Where’s Trevor?” Mercy calls out.
“He needed to cool down, so we threw his ass in the coolroom,” Pyro answers.
“Don’t worry VP we only leave him there for about 20 mins then let him sit for about half an hour in the stock room before we repeat the process,” I wink.
“Good, I need someone on him for the rest of the night till we sort this shit out,” he grunts waving his hand towards Crank and Shadow. Cranks eyes are fixed on the computer screen in front of him and Shadow has another open file in his lap, but he doesn’t seem to be reading shit. I guess his heads fucked up with what happened downstairs.
“I’m outta here in the next hour or so if you need me, I’ll have my phone,” Mercy grunts out sitting back down in his chair and picking up another file.
***
“Brother I’m not sure what the fuck is up Shadow’s ass lately he’s grumpier than normal,” I shake my head as we hit the stairs.
“Fuck knows,” he shrugs. “But I have a feeling he knows he fucked up. Now to make the fucker pay for treating her like that,” he rubs his hands together chuckling.
“Fuck yeah,” I chuckle looking towards the main doors seeing Pete one of the Prospects heading towards the bar. Whistling I grab his attention lifting my chin for him to come to me.
“What do you need brother?” he asks coming to stand next to us as I watch the girls dancing on the dancefloor but my eyes catch sight of Alexis sitting at the high-top table with Callie’s head resting on her shoulder.
“See the black-haired beauty with the rabbit ears on sitting at that table,” I lift my chin in that direction and watch as his eyes go wide, and he nods. “She was upset before maybe you could ask her to dance.”
“Dance?” he grunts as if the word leaves a vile taste in his mouth making me laugh.
“Yeah fucker, dance, you know swing her around a few times to make her smile,” I shrug cause fucked if I know what to do but I bet everything I have that my dual-eyed beauty could teach me a thing or two. My cock pushes against my zipper making me clench my jaw at just the image of her ass rubbing against me.
Fuck.
“Ah... I… um… I don’t dance,” he gets out.
“Now you fucking do so move,” Pyro grunts.
“Shit,” Pete grits out running a hand through his brown hair making me laugh. Heading towards the table I smile at my beauty and I see the shy blush creeping over her cheeks but I also see the haunted look in her eyes. That look has been fucking with me all night and fuck if I want to know where the hell it came from and why. Something so beautiful shouldn’t look so fucking broken.
“Fuckwit upstairs will see this on the monitors,” Py
ro chuckles darkly beside me before moving to lean against the wall closest to Holly as she dances with her friends.
“Hey,” Pete grunts out to the girls.
“Gorgeous, this is Pete,” I introduce him to Alexis before I point to Callie and introducing them.
“I was wondering if you wanted to dance,” Pete asks holding out his hand as he runs the other through his hair. Callie looks towards Alexis but when all she does is shrug Callie stares at Pete’s hand for a few seconds and now I’m sweating for the poor guy.
“Um… sure,” she murmurs sliding her hand into his.
“Um... thanks,” Alexis soft voice speaks out and I have to lean down to hear her over the music.
“No probs, I thought she may need cheering up a little,” I shrug taking the vacated seat next to her gritting my teeth as the scent of wild berries hit my nose.
“Callie isn’t always this emotional, but I think mixing her drinks all night hasn’t helped,” she said as her eyes follow her friend around the floor as a small smile graces those plump lips.
“I’m guessing you girls are close.”
“Yeah, you could say that,” she nods pausing and I think she isn’t going to say anything else, but she surprises me. “All of us girls are close, we grew up together. In a way they are the closest thing I have to a family,” the way she says family hits me in the chest as sadness coats her words.
“I know what you mean. My brothers in the MC are my family.”
