The Fox

The muscleman tucked the invitation under the papers on the board then leaned close to whisper in her ear. “You ready to make good on that bet, Miss Maar?” He flattened his giant palm on the small of her back and pressed Emily to his thick, hard body, adding, “Now or never.”

Apparently, the mask and veil were doing the trick, because he actually thought she was Kitty. What kind of life did Kitty lead that men threw themselves at her?

“Now or never?” she murmured, feeling her hormones react to all that hard muscle and strength pressed against her soft curves. She took a deep breath and was rewarded with a heady combination of spicy aftershave and natural male musk. Heat started to pool in her pussy and her knees actually weakened.

Thank God he had no idea who she really was—ordinary Emily, the girl who never did anything risky. Because if he did know, she wouldn’t be experiencing the delicious decadence of having a stranger’s hands all over her. A couple of days ago, or even a couple of hours ago, she never would’ve thought she’d go along with something so…so…damn his body felt good.

Emily gave up trying to think and relaxed. Yum.

“That’s right, you’ve got the idea. Now or never.” He’d lowered his hand and was skimming his fingertips over the curve of her ass, applying just the right amount of pressure. “We settle it now or you’re never getting in to this party. You see, the Facebook messages are fun and all, but I’m ready for some real face time, if you get what I mean. And since we have that running bet…”

A roll of heat washed over Emily. It could have been shock. But the wave could also have been her body’s response to the hard, male body or the guy’s cocky self-confidence. Hell, it could have been a response to his husky, deep voice or the sexy anonymity of their masks.

She’d been thinking about having no-holds-barred, take-what-I-want-and leave-him sex with Randall Kentworth for weeks now, so her mind and body were completely and totally primed.
