allies (AL-eyez)—friends and supporters
ally (AL-eye)—a person that gives support to another
decay (di-KAY)—rot or break down
destroy (di-STROI)—to ruin something or someone completely
faction (FAK-shuhn)—a united group
helm (HELM)—a hard hat made of metal that protects a knight’s head during battle
hilt (HILT)—the handle of a sword or dagger
mace (MAYSS)—a club-like weapon
morning star (MOR-ning STAR)—a medieval weapon made of a spiked metal ball that is connected to a shaft by a metal chain
