Brotherhood In Blood

Charlie greets me. “Thank you for coming home. Your things are home now. The only thing I want to say, darling, is don’t ever leave my boy again. He loves you so fucking much, darling. I know that for a bloody fact.”
Charlie and I hug each other. “I promise never to leave Chris again, and I love him too.”
Ian walks in. “Zane and I, will escort you to school today, since the other Enforcers are escorting their princesses today.”
“Of course! I completely forgot about the other princesses! That means I will get to meet both Rosalie and Ember today, right?”
“Yeah, I have a feeling all of you will hit it off. We are ready when you are, chick.”
After I finish my breakfast, Zane and Ian allow me to drive my car. I speed through the driveway. Ian hits the green button for me, to open the gates. I pull the car on the road, then finally on the interstate. Ian adjusts his mirror. I glance at him, after I make it on the interstate. “What’s so funny, Ian?”
Zane looks behind us. “You girls seem to have the same tastes in cars. Rosalie and Ember are right behind us.”
I glance in the rear-view mirror, to see two more gingers sitting in a cobalt Mustang. They are also wearing their tiaras. My tiara sits on my head too. There’s one dancing in the passenger’s seat, and the other looks like she’s singing in the driver’s seat. Both princesses are bopping their heads. All of us are wearing shades.
Ian laughs, after watching the girls, and he waves to them. “I swear you girls are triplets. This will be interesting to watch.”
We pull into the Meropis University parking lot. I check myself in the mirror.
Ian peeks over, and he jumps out. “Jeannie… Rosalie and Ember are walking over here. You must remain calm. With their scents combined, it may drive you over the edge.”
“It looks like it’s time to meet the fairies and angels,” I say while looking at the rear-view mirror.
“Yep… looks like it’s time.”
We step out the car, and wait to meet both Princess Ember and Rosalie. I’m so glad that the Fairy Enforcers are here, because they are more alert than my Enforcers are. I stare up at the sky and smile. I know that this will be an interesting day. There are fairies moving toward us, and I know that we’re in great hands with them.
The series continues with book two, “Fairies Of Light.”
