The Gilded Master leaned back into the golden and ivory chair and gazed out across the sea of faces of his people. One by one they knelt down and lowered their wretched gazes, making themselves prostrate before their new ruler. Even the headstrong order of Knights submitted to H’aaztre’s authority, and seeing their leader acquiesce so too did the rest of the knights. The people of Nyctan and their planet were now his. And soon, the whole galaxy.
