“Jesus Christ,” I hear Wolf hiss behind me. Looking over my shoulder, I see him standing in the bathroom doorway looking at my ass. I want to roll my eyes thinking he’s a typical man but something about the way he looks at me, the flicker of fire in his eyes, I can’t. I stand back up and turn to face him, his eyes traveling over my body.

  “You look fuckin’ hot, Krista.”

  “This isn’t me.”

“Why not? Why do you want to cover up so much?” He asks leaning against the frame and crossing his arms over his chest. Why does he have to make that look sexy? Asshole.

“I’ve always had trouble with my weight. It goes up and down. Just because you see me like this now doesn’t mean I’ll stay like this. Look,” I tell him showing him the stretchmarks on my thighs. I know he’s already seen them while he was doing my tattoo but that’s not the point.

  “What about it?”

  “What do you mean?”

“I mean, what about them? So what, you gain weight. What’s the problem?” He can’t be serious. When my mouth hangs open and I don’t say anything further, he shoves off the frame and walks over, pulling me into his arms.

“Size doesn’t mean shit for who you are, Krista. Don’t think you shouldn’t be proud of yourself or think highly of your own body. You look sexy as fuck to me in whatever you wear.” A sob lodges in my throat. Wolf just smirks, presses a kiss to my forehead and pulls away.

“What if your mom thinks I look like a slut?” I ask following behind him. Ester laughs from her spot on the bed, but I ignore her.

“You don’t look like a slut, so I think it’s fine,” Wolf adds as he grabs his phone and cigarettes stuffing them into his pockets.

“I mean it, Wolf!” I protest.

“Me too. You don’t look like a slut,” he says once more, sliding his cut up his arms.

“Well I sure as hell don’t look like Lauren,” I add. His movements halt. He turns to look at me and fuck, I know I said the wrong thing, but I can’t help but think that. She’s so put together. I’ve seen her in her fancy skirts and heels that match, the complete opposite of me.

“I wouldn’t want you to. You aren’t her. Get that shit through your head, darlin’.”

“I’m going to go home. Call me later, Krista,” Ester says making a quick exit. Bitch. She could have stayed and helped me out a little.

“I bet your mom thought she was gorgeous. Thought she was sophisticated and shit. Then there’s me,” I mumble. In seconds, Wolf has me bent over the bed spanking my ass. “What the hell?”

“I’m sick of you talkin’ down about yourself. Say it,” he hisses, another slap landing on my ass causing me to yelp.

  “Say what?”

“Say you are beautiful the way you are,” he says, and I laugh. Another slap. “This is funny for you?”

  “Stop, Wolf.”

“Say it, Krista. Say the fuckin’ words and I’ll stop.” I snort and that gets me another slap. My ass is burning from the intensity of his palm but damn him it feels good too.

“Stop, Wolf! I’m serious now,” I warn him just to get another one.

  “Say it!” He roars.

“I’m beautiful the way I am!” I scream when I can’t take another hit. Wolf jerks me up and spins me quickly.

“Damn right you are.” His mouth claims mine in a heated kiss I wasn’t expecting. My body burns with need for him. His fingers flex against my hips and I almost whine into his mouth. As quickly as he kissed me, he pulls away and heads for the door.

“What the hell?” I ask standing here stunned.

  “Lesson number one.”

“What?” What the hell is he talking about?

“Lesson one in the how Krista should act class. Every time you say somethin’ stupid I’m spankin’ your ass,” he says with a smirk on his face. Wolf walks out of the room as I chase behind him.

“There is nothing wrong with how I act,” I protest. Wolf just chuckles and keeps walking. “You didn’t have problem with me when I was sucking your dick!” I’m trying to get a rise of him, but it isn’t working. He ignores my comments and does some handshake thing with the other guys, pulling them in for a short hug.

“What was the problem with suckin’ dick?” Shaft asks. I flip him off, making him laugh as I follow behind Wolf.

“You going to answer me?” I get a little louder this time. Wolf stops walking and turns to face me now. Amusement flickers in those big blue eyes as he smiles down at me.

“You sucked my cock like a fuckin’ porn star, babe. I don’t have a problem with that, and you damn well know it. What I do have a problem with is how you view yourself. Your self-esteem is shit and I plan on fixin’ that.”

“Self-esteem? What the hell is wrong with hers?” Sly asks coming to stand next to us. Wolf shrugs and nods at me.

“I think I look like a slut in this,” I tell him. His eyes move over my body taking me in. A shiver races down my spine from the hungry look in his eyes. Wolf laughs having no doubt seen it.

“You look fuckin’ delicious is what you look like. Fuck, I’m hard already,” he says grabbing his cock through his jeans. Wolf shoots him a look but Sly doesn’t pull his eyes away from my body. It should make me feel good, but it doesn’t. Or does it?

“Keep your old ass cock in your jeans, brother,” Wolf tells him, grabbing my hand and leading me out of the clubhouse. He doesn’t walk toward the bikes which confuses me.

  “What are you doing?”

  “Takin’ the cage,” he says.

“Uh, why?” He looks at me over his shoulder and smiles.

“You can’t ride my cock on the bike.” My cheeks flush as he laughs. He knows what he’s doing to me.

“I mean it. I like riding the bike,” I whine a little.

“I know but Savannah gets upset that I can’t take her on it, so I take the truck to see her. She ain’t old enough yet to ride.” The heart of this man. A smile tugs across my face as he holds the door open to the truck. It’s not a normal truck either. Of course not, not with Wolf. It’s lifted so I have to jump to get in. When my feet hit the edge of the runner, Wolf slaps my ass a good one making me yelp before I climb in. He laughs the whole time he walks around and climbs in the driver’s seat.

“You just couldn’t help yourself, could you?” I tease him.

“Not with an ass like that.”

“I didn’t expect you today,” my mom says pulling me into a hug.

“I wanted to surprise Savannah,” I tell her. She pulls back and smiles up at me. She’s my mom. There’s no question about it. It doesn’t matter how she became what she is, she just is.

“She will be surprised. She’s been asking about you since her party.”

“Good. Mom this is my girlfriend, Krista,” I tell her dragging Krista up next to me. My mom smiles and grabs her hand first before pulling her into a hug. Her eyes twinkle as she looks at me over Krista’s shoulder. She can feel it too. The connection. I know she can.

“It’s good to meet you. Wolf’s talked about you.” I roll my eyes, knowing if anyone would tell her it would be my mom.

“She don’t care, mom,” I tell her.

  “She does too.”

“Yeah, she does too,” Krista adds with a smile that she shoots me over her shoulder. My mom begins to lead her inside when I walk up behind her and slap her ass a good one. Krista yelps but my mom turns and swats at me.

“Leave her alone! Go upstairs and find your sister,” she says shooing me away with a smile on her face. I miss this. I miss being here and the normal feeling I get inside of me. Normal isn’t something that my life is. It’s complicated and full of criminal shit but it’s who I am. The normalcy doesn’t last for me. Just because I feel it now doesn’t mean I will in a few hours. I’ll become restless and need to get out of here. It’s inevitable.

I climb the stairs and head down the hall to her room before shoving the door open.

“Big brother has arrived,” I say throwing my arms out to the sides. Savannah is off the bed and running toward me in seconds. She leaps into my arms and holds on tightly. This is what I’ve always dreamt of having. A family like mine. People that care about each other the way we do.

“I didn’t know you were coming!” She squeals.

“That’s the whole point,” I tease when I set her back on her feet. Savannah beams up at me and I can’t stop smiling back. She’s perfect.

“Did you bring the bike?” She asks excitedly.

  “Not this time.”

“Ugh, Wolf! You promised when I got older you would take me for a ride,” she whines.

  “Yeah, older as in sixteen.”

  “That’s too long,” she huffs.

“Tell you what. You go downstairs and talk mom and my girlfriend into it, and I’ll take you out on the four-wheelers.” Her eyes light up before they dim.

“Lauren’s here?” I shake my head, and she looks confused.

“She isn’t my girlfriend, Savannah. It’s grown up stuff. My girl’s name is Krista.” Before I could even finish, Savannah’s out of the room and down the steps. I can hear her talking loudly as I make my way back down there. When I step into the kitchen, I see them all. My mom, sister and Krista. They all smile but there’s an ache in Krista’s eyes. One that I understand. When she looks up at me, I motion for her to come to me. She does quickly and falls into my arms. A soft sob escaping her throat.

“It’s okay,” I reassure her as I run my hand up and down her back. My mom glances over and gives me a short nod before taking Savannah into the other room. “It’s okay.”

“These are things I could never do with her. I will never be able to do them with her, Wolf,” she sobs harder.

“I know, baby. I know.” She has to be falling apart inside. This must kill her piece by piece and maybe it’s my fault for bringing her here. Krista pulls away and sniffs a few times before reaching up and wiping her face.

“This is your day not mine. I’m sorry.” When the words leave her mouth, I move in. Spinning her around, I slap her ass a good one.

“What did I tell you about sayin’ sorry for shit?”

“Stop! You can’t just do that in your mom’s house!” She looks embarrassed but I couldn’t care less.

“Then stop sayin’ stupid shit. I warned you. Lesson two. Watch your mouth,” I tease her.

“Really? The way you talk to people and you tell me to watch my mouth?” I pull her body against mine and lean down, pressing my lips to hers. Fuck, this girl does things to my head and I don’t know how I feel about that.

“I wanna watch your mouth for you. While you suck my cock, takin’ me deep into your throat,” I whisper to her. I can feel her nipples harden through her shirt. I love that I turn her on the way I do.

“Wolf,” she says my name softly.

“You’d like that huh? I could shove you down right here and now, have you suck me off in my mom’s kitchen. The thrill of it all would make you wet wouldn’t it?” She looks up at me, licking her lips as lust dances in her eyes. “I bet you’re wet right now. If I slide my hand into the front of these little shorts, you’d be drippin’ for me, wouldn’t you?” Krista pants softly, pressing her lips to mine. I kiss her. Not how she wants to be kissed but I kiss her gently and let her want more of me. Letting my hand trail over her stomach to the top of her shorts, I tease the skin on her stomach.

“Wolf,” my name once more leaves her lips. My cock is straining in my jeans but this isn’t the time. I just wanted to rile her up and I seem to be doing a damn good job at it too.

“You want my finger on your clit? You want me to tease you until come drips down your thighs? Is that what you want?” I ask her huskily. She nods her head like the good little girl she is when I hear my dad coming. “Feel me fuckin’ you so hard, so deep. My come spillin’ between your thighs,” she pants but I pull away. “Hey dad.”

  Krista

We took Savannah out on the four wheelers. I haven’t done that in so long. I had the best time although I could have killed Wolf for what he did to me in his parent’s kitchen. He left me horny as hell and had a whole thirty minute conversation with his dad while I sat there trying to calm the throbbing between my legs. It was mean. Very mean especially when he kept looking over and giving me that sexy look he does. Overall it was a great day.

Now I sit on the picnic table watching Eva play outside. There are many thoughts running through my head right now. What if Wolf is right? What if I can’t keep running behind them? It isn’t really fair for me to keep doing this, is it? They don’t know that I’m here. Shaking my head, I shove off the table and head toward the park on my way back to the clubhouse. Wolf had a run to go on and I opted to come hang out here instead of in his room. He said we were going to talk about this later, but I don’t think we will be. I don’t want to discuss this with him. I sigh and keep walking when suddenly a hand covers my mouth. I try to scream but nothing comes out. A cloth covers my nose as I kick and try to fight but it all slowly leaves me. Darkness clouds my vision and soon I see nothing.

When I wake up, my head pounds. I groan and roll over, slamming into another body. Forcing my eyes to focus, I almost scream when I see Wolf. His face is bloody and bruised. Glancing around as quickly as I can, I don’t see anyone else around.

“Wolf,” I nudge him, but he doesn’t move. The dread begins in my stomach and works its way through my body. “Wolf, wake up!” I nearly scream this time. I keep saying his name until finally his groggy eyes come to meet mine. I let out a huge breath when those blue eyes flutter. I can’t lift my arms more than a few inches. I can’t move my body aside from rolling and even that’s hard.

“What the fuck?” he says, trying to lift his head. It drops back onto the floor.

“What happened?” I ask him. He just shakes his head from side to side.

“I happened.” That voice. It sends a jolt through my body. I turn my head away from Wolf before I throw up all over the floor. He’s here.

“Did you miss me, Krista?” I close my eyes wishing it was all just a dream but when my scalp screams in pain and I’m yanked to my feet, I cry.

“How did you find me?” I ask as he shoves me against the wall. My body burns, my head spins. I’ve clearly been beaten while I was knocked out too. The ache runs deep.

“Let’s just say your friends aren’t as smart as you are,” he says nodding toward the corner. Ester. God no!

“Ester!” I scream her name and try to run to her, but Tom doesn’t let me, not that I could use my legs if I tried. He slams my body back against the wall as tears fall down my cheeks. “Ester!”

“She can’t hear you. She’s already dead.”

“You son of a bitch!” I try to fight him, but my limbs feel heavy thanks to whatever drugs he pumped into me.

“I rendered you and your boyfriend useless. Neither of you will be fighting me today,” he says with the nastiest smirk I’ve ever seen in my life.

“Leave her alone. She’s happy, Tom. Please,” I beg him. He tosses me to the floor before climbing on top of me. Bile rises in my throat once more. His hands move all over my body making me cringe and cry harder. He rips my jeans down my legs as I try to fight him. He wasn’t lying. I’m too weak.

“You should have just told me where to find her. You could have saved yourself a lot of pain,” he hisses jerking his own pants down. “Richard! Drag her little boyfriend over here!” I shake my head as it spins around and around. Richard moves, dragging a near lifeless Wolf next to us.

“Leave him out of this!” I cry. Tom shoves into me and there is nothing I can do to stop him. I can’t lift my arms; they feel like they weigh a million pounds.

“Wake him up! I want him to see this,” Tom growls as he thrusts into me. Richard slaps Wolf’s face a few times before his eyes slowly open again.

“Leave her!” He tries to roar but it’s weak
too. He’s worse off than I am. I turn my head and keep my eyes on Wolf’s as Tom has a repeat from so many years ago. I let my mind drift to other things. To Wolf. To the way he would make me smile but I can’t even get lost there. Not when I see the tear rolling down his cheek as he looks at me, slowly blinking his eyes. I know what he’s thinking. I know he’s pissed and angry. This wouldn’t be happening if Tom didn’t drug him. When Tom finishes, he fixes his clothes and stands over the two of us.

“You were always a good fuck, Krista. You could have had the world at your fingertips, but you didn’t see that far ahead. Now I’m going to take back what’s mine,” he says casually as if he didn’t just rape me.

“Fuck you,” I hiss at him.

“We’ve already done that.” He bends down, grabbing my chin roughly in his hands and forcing me to look at him.

“Kill me,” I tell him my voice cracking.

“Why would I do that? Maybe I just put a son in you,” he says making my stomach cramp. Vomit spews from my mouth and all over his hand. He releases my face, cleaning himself on my shirt before turning and walking away. I can hear the sound of more than one set of footsteps. He must have had more than just Richard with him.

I lie here in my own vomit wishing death would just take me. I can’t handle the thought of him being anywhere near Eva. Tears spill down my cheeks as I look back over at Wolf. His eyes flutter but he isn’t awake. My heart is breaking in my chest. I can’t help her. All of this time and I can’t do anything for her. I’ve let her down. I’ve let my little girl down.

“The prospect handled it,” Sly says once more as I pace the room. I feel like I’ve been hit by a truck. Maybe three. I nod my head and run my hand through my hair. The Doc wanted to check me into the hospital with Krista, but I fucking refused that shit. The memory, fuck, that memory is still fresh in my mind. I bend over, resting my hands on my knees trying to catch my breath when all I want to do is throw up. Shaft’s hand rests on my back. The guys are all here. When they didn’t hear from me when I was supposed to be on the run with Gauge, they went looking. They didn’t find us though. It wasn’t one of our buildings that bastard had us in. One of the city workers found us and called 911. Thank fuck we were outside of our city and didn’t get any of those new fucks that they brought in. Sly handled the police though.
