Lethal Risk

The reunion had been earsplitting, with screams and sobs of joy echoing through the cabin. Bolan had watched it all from the end of the room, after making sure Liao had gotten treatment for his injuries before getting any help for himself.
Now he stared at the family, all of whom were sleeping on the huge bed in the master bedroom—father, mother and children all snuggled up together, happy, peaceful smiles on their faces.
“Warms the heart, doesn’t it, Sarge?” Grimaldi asked.
Bolan turned to him and nodded. “Sure does.”
He held out an odd device to the pilot. “Make sure Bear and Akira get this when we touch down, will you?”
Grimaldi stared at the small game console in his hands. “Um, okay. I assume it’s important, right?”
“Along with that family in there, it’s the reason I almost got killed a half dozen times over the past forty-eight hours,” Bolan replied. “Now, if you’ll excuse me, I have a quick call to make, then I’m going to sack out in one of these fine chairs and sleep until we get to the States.”
The Executioner walked into a tiny office space and sank into the soft leather chair there. Picking up the satellite phone, he dialed a number that would be rerouted through several cutouts until it reached its true destination. When the person on the other end picked up, he smiled.
“This is Striker reporting in… How are you, Barbara?”
