The Science Of Love: A Billionaire BWWM Romance

“I have a Go board at home,” David told her. It was true; the board was the first thing he’d bought after meeting Jada again at the dance studio. There was a large coffee table in his condo living room left there when he moved in, but he’d replaced it the next day with a low oriental style table. He’s also bought some cushions to go around it. The cases for the black and white stones were on the table. He imagined her in the tight dance leotard, sitting on the cushion, staring at her pieces thinking what to do next. He’d put up a good fight, he didn’t want her to think he was deliberately trying to lose to her, but he did want her to win. He hadn’t told Jada, but he’d been taking Go lessons when he could from a ranked champion in Ohio and now Pittsburgh. He had known at some point, he would meet her again and he wanted to be ready. He would watch her set him up for the final blow, then slip out of her envelopment. They would play long into the night and he’d tell her she didn’t have to leave if she didn’t want to. He’d offer to sleep on the couch and give her the bedroom. But she would say no, the bedroom belongs to you, but I’d like very much to sleep with you…
Chapter 5
“David?” she said and snapped him back to reality.
“Oh, I’m sorry, Jada,” he said to her, “I was just thinking about something. So much to do with the company.”
“I can only imagine what you must be going through,” she said to him.
She saw and knew the look. He was addicted to her. It had happened before with a few other men and she’d had to cut them off. For some reason, her combination of features and skin tone just mesmerized men of all races. But she was holding out for something better than she might get from a weekend lothario. Jada wanted someone who could give her a decent life. She had grown up in a small house in the delta without central heating and wanted something better. Enough of the screen doors and fly paper. She was going to be a research scientist at a place where she would help change the future. Lately, she had been reading about the advances in battery technology, there would be a place to apply her talents.
The waitress came with the check and David paid it without hesitation. He felt it was a case of now or never. David desperately wanted to wake up next to her in the morning and was ready to do anything to convince her to go home with him. But he worried that if he appeared desperate, she would sense his weakness. And he was not a weak man. He had stood firm with several of the investors in his company early on when there was doubt about the financing to acquire some of the rival dating sites. He’d been right then just as he was right now. He needed the woman who could compliment his drive to become an internet sensation; he needed someone who could inspire him each and every day. And he needed Jada.
He moved Jada’s chair out for her and took her hand as they walked through the restaurant and to the lobby. Jada wanted him to ask her out again. She was fond of him. David had done so well for himself over the years, unlike so many people she’d known. She’d never believed in a “Mr. Right” or even a “Mr. Good Enough”, but sometimes it was best to check your options. He had taken her hand without even asking and she liked his forwardness. He wasn’t over-weight, but he wasn’t skinny either. He had a nice profile, she had to admit.
“Come home with me,” David said to her. It was almost an order, but she knew he was asking her.
“Excuse me?” she said to him. They were walking up to the lobby and only a few people were left in the restaurant at this late hour. He had realized it was time to ask her or have the hostess call her a cab. She had told him about taking a cab to the restaurant that evening.
“I want you to come home with me,” he clarified. “I want you there when I wake in the morning. I want to go sleep at night and know you are by my side. I want to reach over and feel your warm body in the darkness. I want to know you are real and won’t disappear the moment we touch. This is the dream I have always wanted and I can’t stand the thought of it ending. You’re everything in a woman I have ever wanted, Jada. If you don’t come home with me tonight I won’t believe there is any goodness left in this world. I’ve lived my whole life in anticipation of this moment. I want you to come home with me. Now. I have a car, I can take you there myself.”
Jada was speechless. Her lips parted as she looked into his eyes and she lowered the purse she was carrying down to the ground. David was quiet. He had made his pitch, his proposal, his dedication. He knew inside, he would never be able to do it again. He heard Isaac Hayes music playing in his head. It was something he’d wanted to say for ten years and he’d said it. So there.
“David,” she said to him. “Did you just make that up?”
“Yes,” he said. “Bits and pieces have been inside me for a long time. It all came together now.”
She continued to stare at him. David looked into her brown eyes and saw a lot of things. He saw astonishment. He saw fear. And he began to see something he’d wanted to know from her for a long time: attraction. She really did care for him. A bit.
Jada dropped her purse and threw her arms around him. She held him tightly and kissed his cheek then she whispered in his ear.
“Take me home with you,” she said. “If I don’t go home with you tonight, I’ll never know what I could have had. I want you to make love to me, David. Not quick easy love, but I want you to love me all night long. I want you to think of me as you first saw me all those years ago in the student lounge. I remember the way you looked at me. I want to see that look in the morning when I wake up next to you. Just take me home with you now; I don’t want to lose this moment.”
She picked up her purse and took his arm as he escorted her out of the restaurant. The hostess watched her go and sighed at them.
“It’s one of the reasons I stay here,” she said to herself.
David took Jada to his SUV and opened the door for her. He held her hand to help her step into the vehicle and closed the door behind her. He walked over to the driver’s side, opened the door and pulled himself up. He turned around and Jada had her lips on his in seconds. Inside the car, he touched her. Electricity shot through his hands and he found her body in the dim light of the parking garage. He had his hand on her neck pulling her face to his as she kissed all over his mouth and lips. He felt her smooth skin beneath his hand and started to move his hand upward to her hair. He was fascinated by the natural braids she had in her hair and just wanted to know how they felt. But he was worried she might not take it the right way, so he made the slightest touch to them and felt the softness of her hair under his fingers before pulling back. She was running her hand through his hair feeling the softness of his declining hair line and massaging his neck.
All Jada wanted to do was be in David’s arms at this very moment. She wanted to hear those words from his lips again. It would never be the same a second time, but what he’d said to her had sent spears of light into her heart. He had pierced her soul with what he said and, worst of all, she was getting very wet. She had paid a lot of money for the dress she was wearing, but he could rip it off her once he had her behind doors. She didn’t care. Jada was ready to take David right there in the garage. Had he parked in some secluded corner and started undressing, she would have helped him. She needed him after what he had said. Her fear was that he couldn’t follow up on what he’d said. David had no idea how excited he’d made her with those words.
“Home,” she said to him, “David, you’re taking me home with you.”
David released her and put his seat belt on. Jada did the same as he started up the SUV and pulled it out of the parking garage. The seats where too far apart for her to lean on him, but she put one hand out and rested it on his shoulder. Jada looked at him all the way back to his condo, unable to believe she’d lived without David so long. David was too busy concentrating on his driving to do anything else and his raging erection was uncomfortable. He wanted to pull the SUV off to the side of the road and make love to her right then and there. But with his luck, he’d look up to the angry face of a Pittsburgh cop with a flash
light knocking on the window. He wanted their first time together to be special with petals on the bed and flowers in the morning, although the florists were going to be closed this time of night and he was not down to pulling roses out of the ground.
He parked the SUV in the lot in front of his condominium. David shut off the vehicle and kissed her again. Not too long this time, he didn’t want to start something which would end in the front seats, difficult as that was. Even with a sun roof, the SUV was not the sort of place you would willingly use for sex. He stepped out of the SUV and walked around to Jada’s side, opening the door for her and helping her out. He took her hand and walked up to the front door.
Inside, the condominium was a standard bachelor pad with papers stacked on every surface and a half-eaten pizza in the refrigerator. He had maid service, so it had been cleaned that day. He took her purse and coat, putting both in the closet. David asked her to sit down on the couch and went to the wine rack, which he hardly used, but found useful to have around. He found a decent vintage which he uncorked and poured for her. David brought both glasses over and handed one to her.
“I hope it’s to your liking,” he asked her.
She took a sip. “There is a lot here to my liking,” she told him. “Have you had many women up here?”
“No,” he said. “I bought it when we moved the company over here last month. I really haven’t lived here that long, although you can hardly tell. I need to quit moving in some day.”
They put their glasses down and embraced on the couch. Again David wanted to play with her hair, but couldn’t bring himself to try. He loved the sheen it had and wondered how much time she had to keep it the gorgeous way it looked. Even braided her hair looked natural. He would like to take those braids out and touch her scalp as he did so. Her lips were soft and she smelled of exotic woods in lost cities. David drew her to him and she began untying his tie. He hadn’t tied anything too complicated, but it took her a few minutes to get it undone. She took both ends of the tie which were still inside his shirt and pulled him to her.
David pulled her hands to his mouth and kissed her fingers. He heard Jada moan every time he put one in his mouth and touched her palms with his mouth. His hands traveled down to the front of her dress, unsnapping the buttons on it as she started unbuttoning his shirt and rubbing her hands on his chest.
“We need to take this somewhere else,” he told her and took her hands in his. They stood up and he led her to the other end of the condominium into his bedroom. It was still unmade from this morning, he noted with regret, but he didn’t think it would stop her. She held on to him as he finished with the buttons on her dress. It fell to the floor and he put it on his dresser. It was over the mirror because at some time in the night he was going to be getting up and he wanted her dress on it as a reminder that yes, she was still there.
Jada took the shirt off him, helping David slide his arms out of the sleeves. She hugged his bare chest and kissed his neck, enjoying the scent of man on her face. He ran his hands down her back, unhooking the lace bra she wore. He didn’t let it fall to the floor, grabbing it before it hit the ground and taking it to the dresser.
She stood back to let him see her ample breasts as she went to his bed and slipped off her heels. She placed each near the head of the bed and took her time removing them. David removed his shoes and put them in the closet, returning to watch her look at him and slowly unroll each thigh-high hose. She draped the hosiery over the headboard so she would know where they were in the morning. By now David had removed his pants and placed them in his closet too. He turned around to see her give him a seductive smile as she slipped out of her panties. She held them at arm’s length and dropped them on the floor. David picked them up, took the hose off the bed and put them over the dresser mirror with her other clothes. He slipped out his shorts as he admired the display of her underwear on the dresser. It all added to the experienced of knowing he had the one woman in the world he had always wanted naked in his room.
David felt her body on his back as she came up behind him and embraced him. Jada slid her hands over his firm chest and down to his waist, briefly touching his erection and making low sounds of pleasure in his ear. He loved watching her dark hands glide over his light body and admired the contrast. Her nails were painted a fiery crimson which highlighted the effect. He felt her lips on his neck as he turned around to put his mouth to hers.
“You have no idea how long I’ve waited for this day to come,” he said to her.
“I have some clue,” she said, brushing her thigh against his erection. “David you are so hard I’m worried you’ll come too soon.”
“The only place I want to cum,” he told her, hugging Jada tightly, “is inside you.”
He took her over to the bed and laid her back on it. David leaned over her naked body and began kissing downward. He worshiped her breasts and then down her stomach. He got down on his knees and began to kiss the inside of her thighs. He could hear Jada moan as he ran his mouth over her hard dancer’s leg and across her stomach to the other leg. He tasted the oil she used to keep her skin soft and loved the way it smelled. He kissed her mound, noticing she had shaved between her legs, which was not uncommon for a dancer. He kissed down between her legs, lifting Jada’s heel on his shoulders to get a better angle. David felt her shiver as he ran his tongue deep inside her, bringing it out slowly to give her sensuous parts some special attention. She held his head in place and told him to keep doing what he was doing because she loved every second of it.
David knew he could bring her to orgasm this way if he wanted to, but he wanted her first time with him to be while he was inside her. He lay down on the bed with her, moving his body on top of hers. They stared at each other deeply and she waited for him to enter her.
“Are you on the pill?” he asked her.
“Yes,” she told him. It had been months since she’d quit taking it, but Jada didn’t feel she was ovulating. Besides, she couldn’t let this moment pass. She couldn’t deny the man who had cared and held a torch for her all these years. She was ready to accept the full consequences of his love inside her.
David pushed her legs back and she grabbed her ankles as he penetrated her as far as he could go. He kissed her deeply on the lips as he made slow and powerful love to her. She told him how good he was making her feel with every movement in and out of her. David felt inside heaven. He never wanted to pull out. If he could have found a way to stay inside her forever he would have done it. Their lips stayed in contact as she began to climax. David could hear her breathing become shallow and the gasps come from her throat every time he slid into her. He could feel her red nails sink into his back as she got closer and closer.
Jada could feel the climax begin deep inside her and seep into her soul. It was something she’d needed for a long time and how much better it was to have a man inside her who really cared about her. She knew what it all meant and she was satisfied beyond compare as she began shaking all over David. He looked down and felt her spurt all over him: she was a squirter, something he’d heard about, but never experienced before. He’d have to change the sheets, so what.
And then he felt his climax seize control of him. David began pumping as hard as he could; Jada tossed her head back and opened her mouth but remained quiet as he came inside her. She could feel the warmth from him and felt him grab her tightly at the last minute. He gasped and laid on top of her as she told him he’d saved a lot for her.
“Everything, Jada,” he told her. “I would have saved it all for you if I could.”
They took a hot shower and made love under the jets one more time. It was a little bit difficult standing up, so Jada straddled him in the shower, holding onto his thighs with her legs as he stayed inside her. He’d never done it that way before and she’d only tried it one time. It wasn’t an easy position to hold, but he managed and kissed her deeply while they both climaxed at the same time. She dried off and waited for him to change the sheets on the
bed. When she came out of the shower and into the bedroom, he was under the sheets waiting for her.
“White satin?” she asked him as she slid under them to meet him.
“I’ve been saving these for a special occasion,” he told her. “I think tonight fits the requirement.”
David embraced her and kissed Jada deeply. He reached one hand over to the night stand and turned off the lights. It was dark, but some moonlight filtered into David’s bedroom. He wished he had a mirrored ceiling so he could see her lying with him. He felt her body next to him. There was only one thing which remained to make this evening perfect: he had to tell her. Damn the consequences.
“Jada,” he said to her. “Are you still awake?”
“Yes I am,” he heard her say in the darkness.
“I need to tell you something,” he said again.
“What, David?” she asked. Jada was enjoying the feel of David on her face. She had her head resting on his chest.
“Jada,” he said, trying to hold the tears back. “I have never said this before to any other woman.”
She waited in the silence of his room. What was he going to say? Would it ruin the romantic mood of this evening?
“I love you, Jada,” he told her. “I fell in love with you the day I laid eyes on you. I fell harder in love when I watched you play Go. There isn’t a thing about you I don’t love. And I worry this is a dream and I’ll wake and find you gone.”
“David,” she said, touching his lips with her fingertips. “I didn’t think you could ever top what you said to me this evening when you asked me to come home with you. But you have just done that. I love you too, David. I regretted leaving you behind in Ohio and never should have done that. But I realize we have a chance to start over. I love you too. There, I’ve said it.”
