“We did.”
“Glasses,” Jase said. “Come on, Blaine, man. Glasses.”
Flynn goosed him as he got up, all happy smiles and a wicked twinkle in his eyes.
Blaine hurried to the kitchen and grabbed five glasses. They weren’t champagne flutes, but it didn’t matter. They didn’t have champagne lives.
The guys were all laughing and cheering when he got back, the air electric with excitement.
He held the glasses, Jase poured, and then they all stood and held up their drinks.
“We did it.” Will was all grins.
Darnell just hooted again, holding his glass high.
“Way to go, everyone,” Flynn said, looking them each in the eye.
“To us! To the Supernatural Explorers! Five gay ghost hunters!”
They all clinked glasses and drank the champagne down. Flynn looked over at Blaine, a light shining in his eyes.
They’d done it. It had taken all of them, but they’d done it.
“So what exactly does this mean?” Flynn asked.
“It means they want a dozen more shows. It means enough money to make those shows. It means we’re going to premiere in June for the summer season.”
Blaine sat, still holding Flynn’s hand. He needed to tell his folks.
“Oh my God! That’s amazing. A dozen shows? With the money up front to make them? That’s amazing,” Flynn said again.
“We’ll have to be frugal, but yeah. Yeah. All we have to do is make our shows.” Jason looked over, eyes twinkling. “And if you could arrange another possession, Blaine, that would totally rock.”
“No way!” Flynn shook his head. “Not happening. Not even pretend.”
“Are you sure, man? They loved that in the previews….”
“You all willing to take your turns?” Flynn asked.
Oh, nice one. Blaine snorted, knowing full well that the guys considered him the front man.
“Right. He’s the face of the outfit. They love your look, by the way. Love your story.” Jase nodded, grinning like a fool. “They want us to focus on LGBT stories, spirits.”
“Rock on. That’s great. It means we’ll get to be ourselves. And of course they love Blaine’s look. What’s not to love?” Flynn touched his cheek, eyes warm.
“God help us and save us from newlyweds.” Darnell poured himself a second glass of champagne and drained it. “Ahh. Now let’s eat.”
“I hope you got all our favorites,” Flynn said, beginning to open the various pizza boxes. “Oh, green olive and sausage. You rock.”
They all settled with their slices and their beers—champagne was all well and good, but pizza needed beer. Flynn leaned against Blaine, right where he belonged.
They were doing it. Them. All together.
Blaine looked up and saw a woman standing behind Flynn, smiling, her eyes the same as her son’s.
Yeah. Yeah, okay. They were totally doing this.
Often referred to as “Space Cowboy” and “Gangsta of Love” while still striving for the moniker of “Maurice,” SEAN MICHAEL spends his days surfing, smutting, organizing his immense gourd collection and fantasizing about one day retiring on a small secluded island peopled entirely by horseshoe crabs. While collecting vast amounts of vintage gay pulp novels and mood rings, Sean whiles away the hours between dropping the f-bomb and pursuing the Kama Sutra by channeling the long-lost spirit of John Wayne and singing along with the soundtrack to Chicago.
A longtime writer of complicated haiku, currently Sean is attempting to learn the advanced arts of plate spinning and soap carving sex toys.
Barring any of that? He’ll stick with writing his stories, thanks, and rubbing pretty bodies together to see if they spark.

Camp H.O.W.L. by Bru Baker
Moonmates exist, but getting together is going to be a beast.
When Adrian skipped his “werewolf puberty,” he assumed he was—somehow—human. But he was wrong, and he’s about to go through his Turn with a country between him and his pack, scared, alone—and eight years too late.
Dr. Tate Lewis’s werewolf supremacist father made his Turn miserable, and now Tate works for Camp H.O.W.L to ease the transition for young werewolves. He isn’t expecting to offer guidance to a grown man—or find his moonmate in Adrian. Tate doesn’t even believe in the legendary bond; after all, his polygamist father claimed five. But it’s clear Adrian needs him, and if Tate can let his guard down, he might discover he needs Adrian too.
A moonmate is a wolf’s missing piece, and Tate is missing a lot of pieces. But Adrian is up to the challenge.
