“If that is possible, I will.” I concluded that it would be easier to clear myself of any wrongdoing than Haas-Bioroid. I told him that I would wait for the files, then I signed off and sat quietly in the darkness of the cargo hold as Khloe rushed through space.
I wondered what Mars would hold for me, and who would be waiting to destroy me. The odds were certain that would be a definite possibility.
