Bones: The Black Cobra MC #4

And at the same time, I was afraid of going back there to the clubhouse. Seeing Bones again. I was afraid of losing my senses to him once more.
* * *
And his was the first face I saw when I walked into the clubhouse the next day.
Most of the guys seemed to be playing pool and Bones was one of them. He had a handsome smile on his face when I first stepped in. I’d caught him by surprise. When he looked up and saw me there, his smile drooped, and he tried to hide it by pressing a bottle of beer to his lips.
It was obvious that we both knew it wasn’t a good idea for me to be here, to work in alliance with his club while we had this…thing…going on between us. Ideally, we needed to stay as far away from each other as we could.
But I was here now, what was he going to do?
Bones, with his slick dark hair and that constant day-old stubble. He towered over the rest of them around the pool table and I realized how tall he was. I hadn’t realized it before.
My gaze traveled over him, the way his was traveling over me. I saw once more how muscular he was underneath all those clothes. The tattoos. The broad shoulders and the narrow waist. All the lean muscle. The strength in his arms. The way his green eyes were darkly boring into me.
He didn’t want me here.
But the others did.
Two of his friends were walking towards me now and unlike Bones, they actually had welcoming looks in their eyes. At least somebody wanted me around!
It was probably for the best that Bones didn’t want to be the one to show me around. It was good that we kept our distance, because there was no denying I was attracted to him. I wanted him. Like I’d never wanted a man before in my life.
And getting involved with him could fuck up my whole plan. Developing feelings for someone at this juncture in my life would ruin everything.
Once I was done with Gunther, I planned to be out of here. Never look back.
I was never going to come back to LA, the place I lost my brother. So, the last thing I needed was to get involved with someone here.

I saw Thea and even though I was expecting her to show up here, I couldn’t keep my body from tensing up at the sight of her. She looked just as sexy as ever and I couldn’t take my eyes off her. That walk. The way her bangs fell over those darting blue eyes. Her full pink glossy lips. The way her hips swung in those tight jeans. Fuck me!
I’d fantasized about her all night, despising myself for it. The last thing I needed was to obsess over the woman who was trying to work with my club in bringing down Gunther.
But there she was, walking right in my direction of the pool table. The others straightened up too.
Cash was the first one to step up and introduce himself to her. The others followed and Thea looked completely at ease with all the men around her. She knew how to handle herself perfectly well, despite being surrounded by a group of guys who could seriously intimidate any other woman.
She smiled and shook hands with everybody and immediately, it seemed like my friends were at ease with her. She was one of the guys. Bender handed her a beer and even though it was the middle of the day, Thea had no problem gulping it down. She’d barely even looked at me yet. It was like she wanted me to know she didn’t care if I was here or not. This meeting had nothing to do with me.
Grimm led her to a table to the side and we all followed. Thea was invited to sit down, while some of the others took the other chairs around her.
“So, it’s established then; we all hate Gunther equally,” she was the one to begin the meeting without hesitation. It amazed me how easily and brutally she was able to do it.
Grimm shrugged.
“We hate him, sure, he’s a mad motherfucker. But we’re not sure how seriously to really take him or this new club that he’s trying to get off the ground.”
Thea was nodding her head.
“Yeah, that’s the general impression I get from people around here. Nobody really takes him seriously…and especially not since you guys brought down the Sons of Satan so effectively.”
That little compliment from her went a long way. The guys smirked at each other and nodded their heads. We all liked to be reminded of how we’d gone from the underdogs in this town to becoming one of the most powerful and celebrated clubs here. Nobody thought we would actually be able to bring down the Sons of Satan and defeat Lynch. And now he was dead.
“But like you said, he’s a mad motherfucker,” Thea continued. That caught everyone’s attention again. “And he’s looking for revenge, just like I am. Don’t you think he’s capable of serious damage if he’s allowed to live?”
“You want to kill him?” Cash interjected and she faced him with her narrowed eyes, her face stony and serious.
“Yes. That is exactly what I want to do. I’ve been waiting to do it for ten years,” she said. There was so much determination in her voice that the others had no other choice but to realize exactly how serious she was about what she was saying. There were no two ways about it.
Some of the guys exchanged looks.
“We were sorry to hear about your brother,” Grimm said, and Thea looked down at her hands and nodded.
“It was ten years ago, I’m sure he doesn’t even remember. He definitely doesn’t know who I am. Which is why I think I would make the perfect bait.”
“Bait?” Patch spoke up.
“I could lure him into a situation that would make it easy for us to kill him,” she said.
“I know what baiting someone involves; I just don’t know what you mean to do in this situation specifically?”
“He likes women, doesn’t he?” Thea asked. She asked this matter-of-factly. Crossing her long legs and sitting back in the chair. The bottle of beer dangled from her hand and she looked at each of our faces. When her gaze landed on mine, I glared back at her.
Was she fucking out of her mind?
“You want to get in direct contact with her?” Rogue asked and Thea shrugged her shoulders.
“Why not? It would be the best way to put myself in his path. To get close to him. I can do this on my own if I have to. I’ve been preparing for it for ten years. I just need backup from you guys, you know…just in case.”
She was crazy. I needed to step away from this. I could feel the frustration mounting in my chest as I stood there watching her speak. Did she really want to put herself in his way?
She needed to know what Gunther was capable of doing!
She needed to speak to someone like Samantha.
She needed the full fuckin’ picture, but who was I kidding?
I could see the determination in Thea’s clear blue eyes. She’d said it herself; she’d been preparing for it for the past ten years. She was going to do this; with or without our help.
The others exchanged looks too. Maybe none of them could really believe she was willing to do it to herself.
“Are you sure about this?” Grimm asked. He sounded grim and serious. I knew he was not the kind of man who would be comfortable seeing a woman or a child’s life in direct danger like this. He would definitely not want to make himself responsible for something like this.
Thea drank some more of her beer and shrugged, like it didn’t matter to her at all.
“I’ve never been surer of anything in my life,” she replied and then looked over in my direction and threw me a quick smile.
* * *
I stood at the back of the group, listening in on the conversation between my brothers and Thea. Even though I initially thought these guys would not agree to a ridiculous plan like this—putting a woman’s life in direct danger, it seemed like they had seen something in her. They totally believed she was going to be able to handle this.
Including Grimm, who had always been overprotective of women and children.
Thea looked pleased with herself. Her plan was working.
But what the fuck did she know?
I couldn’t believe this was act
ually happening! They were trying to come up with a plausible plan. Thea was going to try and get on Gunther’s radar, attract him somehow and set up private ‘meetings’ with him, where she was going to finally ‘do it’. All our club’s role was going to be in this was to provide her with backup. Thea wanted to do all the rest herself, and for some reason, my friends agreed to it.
This meeting quickly turned into a joke.
It went from serious conversation about Gunther and bringing him down, to jokes about how Thea was going to ‘bring him down to his knees’. The guys were laughing, and she was laughing too.
I couldn’t believe it. Her attitude towards this whole thing. Didn’t she realize how dangerous this was? How much danger she was putting herself in by trying to lure Gunther into a trap. It didn’t seem like she cared.
Once all the planning part of the meeting was done, I decided I was going to leave. I needed to clear my head, get out of this place, put some distance between Thea and myself. Why did I even give a shit? It was her life. Not like it had anything to do with me.
Besides, it didn’t look like she needed me there.
They were all in the middle of some kind of joke when I started to walk out of the clubhouse. I didn’t need to look back to know that none of them, especially not Thea; had even noticed I was on my way out.
I banged my way out of the swinging doors and stood out on the porch for a moment, lighting my cigarette. I wasn’t expecting anyone to follow me out, least of all Thea.
“You’re leaving?” she asked in a brutally confident voice. Forming that quick rapport with the guys had given her a confidence boost no doubt.
I whipped around to find her standing there, beer bottle still in hand.
“Have some shit to do. Doesn’t seem like you’re leaving anytime soon,” I commented and took a long drag of the cigarette.
Thea looked over her shoulder at the door and smirked.
“They’re fun guys. I guess I wasn’t expecting to click with them that quickly. I’m glad we’re all getting along. Aren’t you?”
I pinched the cigarette between my thumb and middle finger as I held it up to my lips again.
“This has nothing to do with me. It’s between you and the guys.”
“I thought Gunther is coming after you too. Thought he has a bone to pick with you or something? Wouldn’t you be glad to see him gone?” She crossed her arms over her breasts as she stared at me.
My eyes glazed over her body once more. I wanted this woman—that wasn’t going away. I just needed to walk away now so I didn’t do something stupid once again.
“Yeah, sure, eliminate Gunther. I get it. Best of luck,” I snarled and turned away from her. If only I could reach my bike in time.
But Thea was following me again. I heard the sound of her beer bottle crashing on the ground as she chucked it away.
“You don’t think I can do it, do you?” she asked. I kept walking. I didn’t need to respond to her.
“You think I’m too woman and weak and Gunther’s just going to end up winning this round too because I won’t be able to pull it off?”
I had walked to the back of the clubhouse where the parking lot was, where I’d parked my bike.
“Well, you’re wrong. You’re completely wrong about me!” she snapped. I had no choice but to turn and face her now. Thea was standing there, looking expectantly at me, her shoulders heaving.
“What do you care what I think you’re capable of or not?” I growled. Her nostrils were flared. She couldn’t deny the fact that this was bothering her. Her eyes darted around us; she was trying to come up with an answer.
“I hate it when people look at me and assume I can’t do it. That I can’t do something a man can. I can take Gunther down. Just watch me!”
I nodded.
“Sure, go right ahead,” I snarled and took a few steps towards her. Thea didn’t back away from me, just like she had before. Instead, she faced me dead-on, tipping her head back so she could look me straight in the eye.
“Is this some kind of challenge?” she asked, and a soft smirk was tugging the corners of her lips. No, it was not a fucking challenge. I did not want to challenge her to put her life in danger!
But I was standing over her now, looking straight down at her face, into her baby-blue eyes and those darting feelings of desire for her ran through my body again.
I grabbed her by her shoulders and swung her around towards my bike. Thea gasped but she had no intention of getting out of my grasp. It was like she wanted to be handled that way. Her plump little mouth fell open and her eyes glazed over.
I pushed her to my bike, and she pasted the back of her body to it, arching over the seat of it, thrusting her hips up skywards where I landed over her and took her mouth in mine.
She tasted of beer and strawberries…or some other bizarre combination like that. Whatever it was exactly that she tasted of, I couldn’t get enough of it. My tongue darted in and out of her mouth and she was sucking on my tongue too. Our bodies were pasted together on my bike and she rolled her hips more and more with every thrust of my tongue in her mouth.
Her hand wedged between our bodies and she moved it down to my cock. It was stiff and erect in my pants. From the way she grabbed my bulge and started stroking; she was making it very clear I wasn’t getting away with it as easily as last time. It was my turn now.
Her hand moved roughly on my cock while it bulged and grew even more in my pants. She fiddled with the zip and pulled it down and before I knew it, her hand was in there, she had a hold of my cock and she continued to grind her hips against mine.
My mouth moved down her neck, between her firm perfect breasts. My hands traced down the shape of her waist and her butt, while she stroked me, tugged my cock, her soft hand gliding over the tip of my throbbing raging cock.
Till I couldn’t take it anymore and I knew I was going to burst. I caught her tightly and whipped her around. She gasped again but now her breasts were pressing down on the seat of my bike. My cock pushed up against her butt. My hands moved around and found her buttons and I pulled down her pants with a whoosh. They were down at her ankles now and she had started to pant.
I reached down for her pussy. She was wet and throbbing, her clit was swollen already. All I needed to do was give her perfect little tight pussy a few quick strokes with my fingers. I knew she was ready.
I pushed down my pants and stroked my cock with the same hand before I directed it to her pussy. She was prepared for what was coming, hoisting her butt up deliciously over the bike seat, making sure I could drive my cock straight into her in a rush.
It reached deep inside her, stroking her where she needed to be stroked and Thea gasped out my name. She was clutching the sides of my bike and I could see her knuckles turning white.
I started pounding into her, pushing my cock deep inside her, watching the way her body shook with my motions.
She turned her head half-around, just to try to look at me, but she couldn’t actually see me. I was standing squarely behind her, thrusting my cock deep in. I knew I had complete control over her now and she was murmuring something under her breath…yes, yes yes!
She was panting and I kept thrusting.
Thea’s body shook and with each motion, I knew she was getting closer and closer to the edge of her orgasm. I was going to come soon too. She felt too good. Too ripe and moist and tight.
I slapped a hand on her butt, and she gasped aloud again.
“Bones, I’m going to come!” she exclaimed, and it was exactly what I wanted to hear. I moved fasted inside her. The bike shook. Thea shook along with it. I made a grab for her soft short hair, clutching it tightly, arching her body backwards while I pounded my cock right into her and then I heard her explosive release.
She couldn’t stop shaking. I could feel her sticky juices oozing out. Her swollen pussy welcoming my cock in, over and over again. I was grabbing her hard, and then in the next moment I couldn’t hold back anymore. I burst to
o.
It was a sweet release; one I’d been fantasizing about since our last encounter. I hoped this would be our last. Now that I’d fucked her again, been inside her again; my desires were fulfilled, and I could just move on.
But even as I emptied myself inside her and pulled out, when I saw Thea’s flushed hot face turn to look at me—I knew there was a part of my brain that was registering the facts; that this was different somehow. Thea was different. I didn’t know in what way, but she wasn’t anything like any other woman I’d encountered before.
She reached down for her panties and her jeans that were at her ankles now. Was that a blush I saw on her face as she started to tidy herself up? Thea was refusing to look at me directly.
I dressed myself too.
Once again, it was the same old shit playing in my head—this shouldn’t have fuckin’ happened, but it did and there was nothing either of us could do about it to change it.
She ran a hand through her sleek blond hair and drew in a deep breath, looking about her a little nervously.
“I guess I should get back in there, finish the planning with the boys,” she said in a stony voice. So different from how tenderly and desperately she’d been moaning just minutes ago when I was inside her.
“Yeah, I guess you should,” I said and turned to my bike again, pulling out my keys.
We were both determined to show to each other that this was nothing. The fucking hadn’t meant anything. Just a pitstop in our daily activities. She nodded quickly and walked away, while I jumped on my bike and revved up the engine.
I waited a moment, watching her walking hurriedly to the front of the clubhouse. She didn’t turn to look at me once and it was for the better. I didn’t want to be reminded of that face. Of what I was fuckin’ feeling right now. I wanted to keep her safe.
I wanted to make sure Gunther didn’t touch a single hair on that head. But that wasn’t what she wanted. She wanted to be left alone.
She was going to handle it herself.
