Bones: The Black Cobra MC #4

Thea was in the midst of them, standing there in that ridiculously pink dress with the fishnet stockings. Sure, she looked sexy…in a particular way. Not in my way. I wanted to rip all that clothing off her and make sure she never had to be in Gunther’s presence again.

But she was glaring at me with those sparkling blue eyes of hers, like she was daring me to challenge her again.

“She made it out of there in one piece!” Cash grunted.

“I’m fine. He didn’t do anything, just rattled me a little bit. I was able to handle it easily,” Thea added.

“This time. What happens the next time when you’re not able to handle yourself?” I growled and she rolled her eyes and looked away from me. What did I have to do and what did I have to say to make her see how serious this thing was?

Grimm sighed and looked at her.

“Is the plan continuing? Are you seeing him again?”

That question brought an immediate smile to her face.

“Maybe tomorrow, if not tomorrow then soon. I gave him my number, he’s definitely going to call,” she replied. Grimm slapped her on the back like he would do to any of the guys in the club. Was that how they were all perceiving her? Didn’t they see she was nothing more than a piece of meat to a guy like Gunther? That her life could be in real danger?

“Good job!” he exclaimed and that pleased Thea even more.

All this was doing was encouraging her to keep on with this scheme. Fuck! I needed to get out of here. It was wrecking with my head.

I started to walk away from the bar, but the others stopped me.

“Bones, what is going on? Let’s talk over the plan?” Rogue shouted at me from across the bar. I shrugged, stubborn.

“What plan? It seems like you guys have it all figured out. You’re going to use her as bait. A woman, completely inexperienced in this shit and someone who really got Gunther going. You want that kind of responsibility on your hands? Be my fuckin’ guest.”

The others exchanged looks at that, I didn’t even want to know what they were thinking about my outrage. I didn’t care.

I saw Thea glaring at me too, but I wasn’t about to let that bother me. I needed to put some distance between us anyway. So, I turned and walked out of the bar into the night, but unfortunately, I could sense someone was following me.

  I knew it was her.

Why was it so difficult for her to just leave me the fuck alone?

  Thea

I needed to get the whole picture from Bones. Why was he acting this way? He was the only one amongst all his friends at the club who had a problem with me, a problem with the plan against Gunther.

Even though I had a moment of panic with him back at the strip club, overall, personally, I thought the plan went pretty well tonight. As well as it could have possibly gone. I was still in one piece, Gunther didn’t suspect a thing, and we were going to meet up again soon. I knew Gunther was going to follow through with that plan. I’d seen it in his eyes. He wanted me and he’d already made up his mind that he was going to have me.

I followed Bones out into the night when he stormed out of the clubhouse. Seriously, what was wrong with him?

I just needed him to explain it to me. What was I doing wrong?

Hadn’t I proven myself to the others and to him that I was perfectly capable of handling myself? Why was it so hard for him to grasp it then?

Bones knew I’d followed him out and he stopped in his tracks and turned to face me.

“What the fuck do you think you’re doing?” he growled. I went up to him, meeting his eyes. Thrusting my chin up in his direction.

“I think we need to talk.”

  “About what?”

“About why you’re acting this way with me. I mean, are we going to have a problem here? You want me gone from the club, is that it?” I challenged him with my eyes.

Bones was glaring down at me. He was at least a foot taller than me. He was way more muscular, way more powerful, he could lift me up with one hand if he wanted to. He was a man. But a thrill ran down my spine knowing that I could bring him to my knees with nothing more than just my mouth.

And I wanted to do that to him again.

Was that why I was out here, talking to him?

“I don’t want you involved with Gunther. It isn’t safe. It’s just as simple as that,” he said. This time when he spoke, I noticed that his voice faltered a little, it was a bit softer than usual. Was he revealing a part of himself to me that he didn’t usually reveal to others?

I could feel myself softening to him a little too.

“Where are you headed now?” I asked him. His brows were crossed but Bones answered my question.

  “Back to my apartment.”

“Maybe I should go with you. Maybe we should talk,” I suggested. I could feel my hands trembling a little as I spoke. It wasn’t like me to make a suggestion like this and be nervous about the response. I didn’t usually care so much.

Bones didn’t take his eyes off me as he took a moment to think about the answer.

  “Okay,” he replied.

  * * *

I had my arms wrapped around Bones’ body while he rode his bike. It thundered and roared underneath me as we swerved through traffic, rode at full speed down further deserted roads, the wind sweeping across my face in the coldness of the night.

My eyes watered at times and I felt the urge to just lean myself against him, against his strong muscular back, feel the softness of his leather jacket against my cold cheek. But that would be too much.

Just having my arms wound this tightly around him was bad enough wasn’t it? Inviting myself over to his house was pretty forward too, right?

I wasn’t sure what the rules were. We’d fucked…a couple of times. I was now working with his friends to kill a man who had murdered my brother ten years ago. He himself was not a big fan of the plan.

This was not a normal dating situation.

Dating? Where did I even get that idea into my head from?

I tried to focus on the ride to his apartment instead, but all I could really think about was what this might lead to. What was he expecting was going to happen? Were we going to tumble into his bed?

  No.

I needed to stay strong. This was supposed to be about a mature conversation. I needed to speak to him to make my life working with the Black Cobras easier.

Bones stopped the bike abruptly on a dark deserted looking street, and I realized we’d arrived at his apartment building already. Now I felt like I wasn’t prepared for him, for this conversation. What was I supposed to say? Other than demand answers from him.

And he did not strike me as a conversationalist.

But he jumped off his bike and like a perfect gentleman; gave me his hand to help me off it too. I wasn’t expecting that. That moment of sudden tenderness. He was usually such a growling angry beast of a man.

Without another word, Bones started heading in the direction of his apartment, expecting me to follow in silence. Which I did.

Even though this was beginning to feel like a complete mistake, I could feel my heart thudding maniacally in my chest now. I was excited about being alone with him.

I was picturing us naked again. Me up against the wall. His hands all over me.

This wasn’t supposed to happen, and yet, I’d invited myself over.

We climbed the stairs up to his second floor apartment and Bones let us into his place. He shut the door behind me and turned on the dim lights in the living room. I turned to face him, expecting him to make an immediate move on me. Wasn’t the sex implied already?

But he just stood there, watching me, with his wide muscular shoulders heaving and his green eyes boring into my face.

“Okay, we’re here now, what do you want to tell me Thea?”

I didn’t know where to begin. What to tell him. I couldn’t even remember why I was really here in his apartment.

When I’d been silent to his quest
ion for a few minutes, Bones shook his head like he was disappointed in me and then walked over to the fridge. The apartment had an open-plan sort of living room and kitchen structure.

He pulled out two cans of beer and threw one at me. I caught it and it made me smile for a moment. Bones popped his open and drank from it thirstily. I wasn’t so thirsty after all, but the cool body of the can felt good in my warm nervous hands.

“I just don’t want any trouble from you while I’m trying to work with your friends to execute my plan,” I began. I’d finally found my words.

Bones walked over to the shaggy looking couch in the middle of the living room. He sat down on it with a foot on the coffee table.

“Why does it matter to you what I think? You’ve made yourself pretty clear to me and to everyone else in the club. You have a plan which you believe is going to work. You think you’re prepared to do what it takes. You’re fearless…why do you care whether I’m on board with this plan or not?”

Good question, because I didn’t have an answer to it either. Why did I care so much? I didn’t know him. In fact, I knew nothing about him other than his name…and how he made me feel. What he was capable of doing to my body.

But I held my chin up. Of course, I wasn’t going to admit any of that to him.

“I just feel like the whole club and I, and that includes you too, need to work in harmony together for this plan to work. And something tells me that you don’t believe I can actually handle myself out there. You don’t think I did well tonight with Gunther at the strip club.”

Bones’ eyes traveled all over me, and suddenly I felt very self-conscious in that candy pink dress and the fishnet stockings again. His eyes rested on my breasts for a moment and it felt very different to have him watching me, compared to how it had felt when Gunther had watched me earlier. I liked the idea of Bones undressing me with his eyes.

I wanted him to do it. Right down to my lingerie.

He took another large glug of his beer and put it down on the table in front of him.

“No, you did well. I have to give credit where it is due. You did as well as anybody working undercover could do in that situation. But that doesn’t make it any less dangerous.”

Why was I thrilled to hear him praise me?

What was wrong with me right now?

I never usually needed anybody’s validation like this.

“I know it’s dangerous. I know exactly the kind of man Gunther is, and I’m prepared for it. I’ve been completely alone for the past ten years, Bones. I’ve managed to survive on my own, even when I was nothing more than a teenager,” I said and walked over to him.

I put the unopened can of beer down beside his on the coffee table and stood facing him. His eyes flitted over my body once more. He took in the sight of my fishnets, my high pink heels, the glittery makeup on my face. I wanted to know what he was thinking.

Did he like me like this? Did he like his girls all made up for him?

“I feel responsible for your safety,” he said, like he’d somehow managed to snap himself out of those dirty thoughts he was having of me.

“Why? Because you were the first contact I made at the club?”

Bones clenched his jaw and drew in a deep breath.

  “Maybe, yeah, I guess.”

“Well, you shouldn’t feel responsible. The truth is that this has nothing to do with you. The wheels of this thing have been in motion for the past ten years. Everything I’ve done in these years has been leading up to this moment. I need to do it for the sake of my brother.”

  Bones nodded, like he understood.

“And somebody else doing it for you will not be enough?”

  I shook my head.

“Drake was my flesh and blood. He was the most important thing in my life. He protected me and nurtured me, and his death changed me as a human being. I need to kill Gunther to avenge for that. For everything he destroyed.”

Bones stood up from the couch and came towards me. I could feel my own voice shaking. I knew I was emotional, maybe a bit too much…maybe I was taking it too far. Maybe he didn’t need to know all this about me.

But now he was standing over me and watching me in silence, looking deep into my eyes.

“This is a dangerous game you’re playing Thea. I just didn’t think you could handle it, but it seems like you know what you’re doing,” he told me. He was standing so close to me now. I could breathe him in, feel the energy and the warmth coming off his body. My nostrils flared; my skin seemed to pucker up in reaction to his presence. I wanted to weave my fingers through his hair, press my body close to his.

“Yes, I do know what I’m doing. I’m aware of the risks and I’m willing to take them,” I replied, and Bones nodded his head. What was that supposed to mean? He wasn’t going to stand in my way anymore? He wasn’t going to put up a fight every time someone mentioned the plan with Gunther?

I licked my lips, feeling the glossy texture of the makeup I was wearing. He followed my every move and I saw how his eyes seemed to glaze over with desire at that. I knew what he was thinking. What was on his mind. Because it was on my mind too.

“Now tell me what you’re really doing here, Thea,” he grunted. A deep guttural animal growl. The voice I’d started to get accustomed to hearing from him.

“I think we both know the answer to that question,” I replied.

The next move he made was sudden. I wasn’t expecting it to happen, but he reached over and caught me by the back of my head with one hand and pulled my face close to his. I gasped and started to breathe hard.

He drew closer then, knocking his forehead against mine. I could almost taste the delicious beer on his lips. Our eyes were focused on each other while he used his force to lead my body backwards. I only stopped when I felt the cold hard wall on my back.

I knew he could feel the tension in my body. The intensity with which I wanted him too right now. I needed him to kiss me, but all Bones was doing was glaring into my eyes, like he had something he wanted to tell me. I waited one more beat before I lunged at him. Catching him by surprise I pressed my mouth to his and he pushed his tongue down my throat. It all happened in a split second. His hands all over my body, feeling the swell and rise of my breasts in that tight pink dress.

My hands traveled down his lean muscular body till I found exactly what I was looking for. His cock was growing stiffer by the second and with my hand on it, there was no looking back.

While his mouth ravaged mine and we moaned together and moved against each other, I shoved my hand down the front of his pants till he was in my hand. That big erect throbbing cock which I needed inside me.

I could feel my own pussy throbbing, my clit swelling up. My panties were wet now, and I folded my knee up like I was barking up a tree. He caught my thigh and then bunched up the flimsy material of my fishnets and ripped them.

The sound of the ripping was sexy, and I slurped my mouth away from his. Breathing heavily. Completely out of breath now. Bones’ eyes were dangerously narrowed and dark as he glared at me. His hands continued to explore my body, pull apart the rags of my stockings…while my hand remained down his pants. I loved how easy it was for me to make him grow like that. How quickly he molded and shaped to my hand. I stroked and tugged and felt pre-cum between my fingers. He wasn’t too far from the edge now.

  The thought made me smile.

Then he was lifting me up. Both his hands were on my waist and he had me high up with my legs around his torso while he carried me back to the couch. He threw me down on it, all that previous tenderness had disappeared.

My body bounced on the couch and he got to work. First my dress came off, then my bra, then my panties. He took off his jacket and undid his pants and slid off his shirt.

I saw his muscular torso completely bare now. The tattoos, the chiseled abs, the narrow waist. His wrists were thick, just like his bulging biceps and now he straddled me. I felt trapped…in a good way…right between both his legs now
as he sat over me. Watching me. I flung my heels far away and Bones bent down low over me.

With his tongue, he drew a long wet line down my body, from the base of my neck down between my heaving breasts and my belly, till his mouth hovered my swollen wet pussy. I cried out with pleasure, reaching for him, weaving my fingers into his thick dark hair. His rough stubble itched against my skin, but it didn’t matter. I liked how rough he was and thoughtful at the same time.

I’d never met a man like him before.

His big warm hands reached up to my breasts. He grabbed both of them, not before he’d pinched and pulled at my rosy nipples first. Then he started squeezing my breasts while I thrust my hips up towards him. Feeling that tightness rising in the base of my belly.

Bones’ mouth hovered over my pussy now. I could feel the warmth of his breath falling on my wetness and I couldn’t wait to feel that tongue…which I now did. He slid it between my folds at first, licking up my juices and then he started working it.

His mouth moved roughly against my pussy, on my swollen sensitive clit and I cried out again. I was crying out his name, begging him not to stop. I spread my legs wide apart while he worked on my pussy. He knew exactly which spots to hit, how roughly to shove his tongue in and out of me and pay equal attention to my swollen clit till I knew I couldn’t take it anymore.

This just felt too good. This was pushing me way over the edge. There was no point me even trying to hold back any longer. Wasn’t this what he wanted?

I came like an explosion, right in his mouth and Bones didn’t stop what he was doing. His mouth continued to move on me, and I panted and cried out his name and clung to him while my body shook and shuddered. He kept a steady grip on my breasts and then my thighs while he made me come and when I was finally done, I fell back down on the couch with a thud and Bones straightened himself up, wiping his mouth with the back of his hand.
